I don't write too many reviews, but with Andrew Johnson's apps, I can't say enough good things about them. From day 1, they began working for me, and I love now going to sleep and waking with different ones. I'm ever grateful for them.

I needed this app and was looking forward to it but it's broken. The voice is just a squeak and theusic cuts off. I hope they fix it. Otherwise... I wish I could get the money back or exchange it for another A J app.

For the love of all that's good and holy, please get yourself a better sound engineer. The higher frequencies are so prominent that every "s" sounds like a high-pitched whistle. I have to give up and turn some of these meditations off unless I want a headache. Otherwise, lovely.

I go very deep within when listening to this app. My mind is able to expand to see solutions to my problems, as I am made aware that I have choices to make my life different or as I want it to be. I like the story therapy used in this app. It ignites my imagination to initiate needed change in my thinking as well.

I have all of AJ's apps, which I love, but I will not listen to this one again. Rather than uplifting my spirit, I found it to be boring and depressing. Where are the motivational messages advertised? It is one long mystical-like story/lecture about river spirits. I know it is supposed to impart a deeper meaning, but I don't want to be transported into my past and be reminded of the sad/bad/foolish choices or events of my life. Nor do I want to see way into my future, which only shows old age, for me. I have learned to live in the here and now, and at the same time, know the choices I make now will affect my future. This may help some people, but it is not what I was expecting. Sorry AJ. I love most of your other apps...they are the best, but I can't recommend this one.

Last night was my first night listening to this, so I thought it would be best to review now, and again after it's been a month or so. For starters, if you are so highly wrapped in your religion that you believe speaking of "spirits of the earth" is satanic, or evil, you probably shouldn't be trying to meditate or be hypnotized in the first place. Now moving on. Those of you coming into this with truly open minds, prepare to be pleasantly surprised. I was. Lately I have had an extremely stressful time, feeling walled in and just so stuck that I had begun to feel significantly depressed. I have had his "Relax" app for awhile now and decided maybe it was time to branch out a bit. I put my headphones in and laid down for bed. He knocked me out within the first ten minutes; which is a miracle for me. Waking up to his little awake message was the best way I've ever woken up. It was soft, and there wasn't any of the "Oh shut up!" thoughts that are my initial reaction to alarms. Now, I did notice I felt a little more tired than usual, however (and really let me emphasize that), I noticed a continuous serene feeling throughout my day. It didn't even click while I had people screaming and cursing at me, until a friend of mine at work told me I was staying surprisingly chipper considering the hoopla going on around me. So hmm. Maybe there's something to this? To end, 4 stars because I love Andrew and his voice, and it seemed like it really might have made a difference. 5 stars may come after I've had a bit more time to test the waters. Will keep you posted. ;)
