The developer of iQIF is extremely helpful, and the this ap works great as a way to log transactions on my phone for later import into my accounting desktop software.

Emailed developer about an issue with balances when exporting, responded that I found a bug and lo and behold next patch is all fixed. Was like a week later,. Thank you!

Exactly what I need. I use it for transferring records from my phone to GNUcash. Initially setting up the categories and accounts carefully ensures smooth imports. Two issues: 1. The importing only supports one currency at a time. It would be useful to export by currency as separate files. As it is I just stick to one currency at a time which is hardly ever a problem. 2. The reason I was prompted to write a review. Somehow I managed to make a blank category. When I go to the category lists the app crashes so I can't delete it. 3.6 Update: my second issue has been resolved. Thanks!

Edited: It only shows the end balance after all entered transactions. I was looking for something like gnucash that will show a line-by-line balance for each transaction as I budget for several months out. Response to Developer: Perhaps I used the wrong terminology. I turned on running balance, and then entered some transactions. I see that this gives me an ability to enter an existing balance and calculate from that, but what I was looking for was a line-by-line balance for each transaction, like what you would see in a checkbook register.

Hard to believe it's been nearly six years since my last review. Still loving the ease of use, and still have never had an issue needing support. The app has also been kept up to date with each version release of iOS. Many thanks to the developers for filling this gap!

Does just what I need it to do, keep track of misc cash expenditures on the go. I use quicken 2007 for mac and it works beautifully. And when I had a snafu (user error) during my first transaction, the customer support was fast and helpful. Thanks!

A simple note has the same funcionality. It does not import your payees, categories so you have to type it one by one. If you didnt when exporting you'll have a mess in your Quucken. The idea is good but the app needs to improve its features.

This app is exactly what I was looking for to be able to enter receipts on the go, and then easily upload the transactions into my financial software. IQIF is extremely user friendly. I have contacted the developer (Eric) on a few occasions, and he has excellent and prompt customer service. Thank you Eric for creating this! Derek Hembree

Great idea but needs to be debugged. Frequent random crashes and transaction data is lost back to the last time the app closed gracefully. Should total transactions by account, not as an aggregate of all accounts. Unusable as is.
