It doesn’t show colors for snow like the weather channels radar does.

Used to be very good on iPhone. Now, e.g., U cannot add a location by city & state. You MUST have zip code. App apparently offers no way to contact developer.

You have a great app here and I recommend it to many people. However when any developer lets a year go by without any updates you are starting to abandon your paying customers... Make it better, fix a bug... Love it but give us some more ;-) Update: Now it’s been 6months since the last update. You need an iPhone X update at the least. Additionally, while this is my go to radar app for rain. It’s quite useless for snow as no radar includes the rain/snow line. Bumping down to 3 stars from 4 due to these 2 reasons. I really hope to see some app updates soon ;-)

With this new update, what has happened to the storm tracks? It just says it's unavailable.

Love the app, when it works. REALLY needed it to work right now today, but it keeps saying it needs a network connection. My wi-fi and my LTE (wireless) both have strong signals. So, it's not my iPad. It's the app. We have severe weather happening right NOW in areas where I live and my family lives. I can't see the path, I can't see anything and it's frustrating!!! Please fix this!!!

This is the best weather app I have ever had...

Early on this was one of the finest weather APPS available. There is a (desktop ) version available, MS not in Apple OS. Touch the premium version to get info you paid for and you get advertisement on web screen for desktop version. I had to go back to APP a dozen times before I gave up. Opened competing APP not as good as WT but it surrendered input without selling upgrade I cannot use even if I wanted.

Radar is rough and pixelated in zoom modes. Not worth the $10. Get the hi def radar instead. Wish I could get a refund :-(

Radar is not working, but the storm tracks are. Please fix.

UPDATE: Not TAP's fault, but Apple Maps has made the radar useless as the colors that Apple chose are too close to the radar image palette. The app remains solid in functionality, but the color palette issues makes the app no longer usable in a professional environment where precision is a must. App is still recommended for casual use, but until the map / radar palette issue is cared for I have pulled this app from our wx tool box. As a pilot I have been familiar with Weather TAP for some years. I am glad that they migrated to iPhone and even better that they offer an ad free version. A bit pricey, but as a professional emergency manager this is one more tool in my arsenal of weather apps that does what I want it to do without bells and whistles that get in the way.

Starts, shows entire USA without any weather at all—and crashes, over and over. Can't report anything beyond that. My fault for buying early-release app??? Please fix!

I paid for this app and now it isn't online anymore. I want a refund.

Used this app for a while, went ahead and downloaded Pro for $10 and as SOON as a major storm hits the radar won't work. THANKS A LOT for putting me in a position that I can't even see what is coming at me. Total fail I want my money back!

Lousy upgrade, now app is useless. Radar data not loading Paid for premium membership not worth it

The app has great data, but is useless since every radar location takes 5 minutes or more to load. This is not real time radar.

It's very much worth the money. I am a SKYWARN certified storm spotter, and this application does wonderfully for tracking severe weather. I love the detailed information on storm tracks and the fact I can click on icons to see where a funnel is reported or hail or anything like that in addition to using my own knowledge. The damage reports are excellent as well. The radar never lags and is updated almost to the second for me. Thank you so much to the developer for creating this application. Please keep it in the App Store for all time with everything in the application staying the same in future updates🌸.

Storm tracks are there but no radar. Please fix and try again.

I have had this app since it came out. It I just horrible In the most important spots. Warning overlays block radar instead of being outlined or shaded behind the data. Color pallets are to vague and are hard to read with the types of background available, needs a black background. Radar returns are a smoothed and very blurry. If you are going to smooth a radar image it has to be smoothed not blurred. Storm tracks are spot on and very nice. Storm reports are great. It does has some nice features but unfortunately without the above this app is unusable. It just needs a complete overhaul.

Total waste of time and money Buy donut and coffee instead

I like weather tap, however I was coerced into buying it last night in the middle of a night of storms because I found not get past the pop-up to buy. The 'not now' button would not work. If I wanted to keep track of the storms I had to buy it.

Ok guys no radar data coming thru make this pretty worthless ,ok on my iPad Air , but hosed on a iPhone 5s running the latest

Need a winter screen to separate snow from ice from rain...

I have used the basic Weather Zoom for 7 years, however it recently stopped working. When I went the the Pro Weather Zoom app page it claimed the app was current. The NOA has decommissioned use of the weather information that supplied this app with radar and other information. This App should be taken down immediately as I just spent $10 for a useless app!

The original Zoom did work well, now the pro is bad also. Won't or can't identify any radar site. It's a really good program when it works!

I like the storm tracking of each cell of the storm. But the biggest drawback for me is when I zoom out or try to pan to the left to see how big this storm is, the radar just drops off in a straight line. Please fix this and will give this app 5 stars.

I just purchased this app and cannot edit or put in my hometown I put in my ZIP Code and the city and state and it says I need more information can’t figure it out.

Update: The colors are wrong. Shows severe weather by coloration when the radar is in 'clear air' mode. I compared their app with several others that I have and their colors are correct. - - - - For the spendy price it needs the ability to step forward and backward through time with the weather maps.

The only way this works for me now is to turn off high-contrast. Can you please fix?!?

Nice details given on map. I especially like the color coding and directional arrows. For the price of the pro version, this should be a universal app.

I use this application all of the time to get detailed radar information on storms. One reason I picked this app over others is that it includes Storm Reports in addition to numerous level 3 data products, storm watches and warnings, derived cell information, and storm tracks. No, it does not have a composite. If you want composite, use the free weatherTap app they offer. As any meteorologist can tell you, composite images can hide insteresting components of storms. As a meteorologist myself, I would love to see a few more level 3 products make it in here, however I know that the average user wouldn't be interested in this data. The only other things lacking for me are lightning data and satellite data, which oddly enough are included in the free version.

I see the new name and icon otherwise looks the same. The reason I'm giving this 1 star is not getting any data from any radar site. App is useless if it's not going to display anything.

I've downloaded probably 15-20 weather apps over the last several years. For U.S. severe storms, this is a must-have since it shows individual storm cells, detailed severity data, their expected arrival time in each town and their track. See the sample screens in the app description. Most other apps just show you the radar display and the NWS warning areas. When you have 2 hours of multiple angry red radar blobs headed your way, it helps to know what's just heavy rain and what's real trouble. In the most recent outbreak of severe weather, I used this app to track 10+ severe storms and a tornado as they passed through my county in quick succession. I knew when to hide in the basement for the one cell that passed within 2 miles (for 5 minutes) and when to go about my business (the other 2-3 hours). By comparison, my wife was stuck sheltering at work in a hallway for 90-minutes based on a county-wide alert. She did not have access to storm track data other than what I was texting her. That same storm outbreak killed one, injured several and destroyed 100+ homes. I started with the free version, which is very good, then happily parted with $10 for the paid upgrade for additional info while I was hiding in the basement.

Really solid app, and now it uses the entire iPad screen. Just what it needed.

This app costs and does not deliver! Older versions still work! I have coworkers that have not updated and still get rain and snow on radar. It's good that I read other people's reviews to find a workaround but we should be able to use a high DBz and high contrast images! Fix this issue that many of us have and I will rewrite this review with a 5 star rating

With this app you can have confidence you will know of hail coming your way. You can tap on a storm cell and see the probability of hail, the size of the hail, the direction of the storm, and the speed. I paid for a couple other apps, one costing $9.99 and neither had the hail information this one has. Helps me avoid hail damage to my car. Great app!!

Make it work in landscape mode & you'll get 5 stars! Other than that it's promising.

This is really an excellent Radar App..If possible it would great if you could add the landscape mode to the radar maps,that would really make it that much better and put the app. in a totally different class then the rest.

Finally a weather radar with storm tracking. THANK YOU. I don't understand why Mac has the best graphics yet finding a radar program with storm tracking is so hard. My only wish is that the cities were bolder to see and wish I could see the sate boundaries better. I have tried MANY radar programs this is by far the best. If you guys could also add weather radio stations this program would be a one stop shopping experience. I would be will to pay for future upgrades. Again this is a AAA+ program. I love it!

Rarely works. Constantly tells me that I must be connected to a network, which of course I am. When you are viewing the weather radar animated, the animation is never updated! This means that the animation repeats over and over again and does not refresh with current information. There is a refresh button that must be manually pressed in order to bring the weather up-to-date. ( Weather Tap Running on the Mac desktop does not have this defect.) The resolution is not good. The weather information that the local cable company provides is much more detailed, and has been for decades.

It really helped to see how fast individual cells were tracking. But a decommission NWS website has rendered this app with no useful information.

Please fix the radar, this app is useless now.
