I can always count on my Weather Bug. It has served me very well.

I love Weather Bug on my iPhone. It keeps me updated on present conditions and gives me a look at what to expect in the upcoming days.

This is an app I check every day, often more than once. I rely on it.

I liked it better when it would let me pinch the screen to allow me to see where the weather was coming from. I liked when I got the temperature immediately. I liked when I could understand all the buttons, what they meant and how they were deciphered. I do not like this latest update‼️

More right than wrong

App keeps crashing when trying to open. Emailed tech support get a copy and paste response “we’re working on it” long time issue now.

First, if you click on local temps, the digital number often overlaps the name of the city. So, it is impossible to read the number. Second, I don’t suppose the developer ever heard of the ADA(Americans with Disabilities Act). I happen to be red-green color blind. So, all the pretty displays of temperature, or whatever, with colors mean zilch to those of us who are RG color blind. I seriously doubt my paying $9.99 for the elite version is giving me much more info than the free one. Mr. Developer, you need to get with it. If you are going to charge me for an app, it needs to be worthwhile. You have some ways to go yet on your elite version of Weatherbug.

This is my go-to weather app. It has all the information I need on a daily basis. I do NOT like the “Featured Videos” section - having to see and then scroll past the daily weather disasters to get to the information I need.

Open this app 10 times a day- for driving, what to wear, storm tracking, keeping up with weather where friends live, trip planning and so much else!

You get one star for asking for a rating it’s super annoying.

I love the convenience of weather bug, real time radar, and notification of severe weather events/warnings for my current location. I always recommend this app to my friends and family.

TWC app can kiss off. Weather Bug elite gives me as much, no annual subscription cost like TWC. Thx

Easy to navigate and accurate.

I like weatherbug a lot. I wish it had two things. An easier “Tomorrow” view. Details of just tomorrow. And I’d like to be able to scrub back and for the last 90-120 minutes to help see what a storm is doing.

Great app! It has all the info one would need!

I like where the bug. If they are winds and weather predictions all right most of the time. I work on a fishing boat in Destin Florida and I check those often. I also travel a lot and add check the weather where I am going. I have seen other services but none are as good as weather bug.

I wish I could find a weather app that had average Hi’s and Lo’s data. A long with historical Hi’s and Lo’s. Sometimes I want to know how close to normal the day may be.

Widget says I need to agree to terms of service and privacy policy but I did that but does not change in the widget. Otherwise love the app and it works great. Fixed problem with update and now the widget is working. Best weather app out there 5 stars!!!!

Version 5.8.4 is making my phone get hot and zaps my battery. My cpu usage went from 10% to 40% when the app was running. Quit the app and back down to 10%. I have really enjoyed this app over the many years I have used it. Please fix this problem and I will happily update the rating.

This app shows alerts after they expire or not at all. I get all kinds of weather warnings, alerts etc from the other apps... this one most of the time shows nothing. Also it can be raining out and it shows sunny or over cast... 10 min later it shows raining. Search for other apps... this one is not accurate or trustworthy. This app is just sad all the way around.

Use it daily great local and when we travel

Best app I’ve found for daily weather. Conflicting hourly vs daily forecasts and sometimes freezing or quitting are generally minor issues. Love that it has everything you need in 1 place. Could do without the photo sharing.

I use the weather cams everyday to actually see the current weather at family locations across the country. Wish there were more. I check the local radar several times a day.

Weather bug pro is the best weather app available. Love the program and it’s always accurate and works with no down time.

I’ve used WeatherBug Elite and it’s earlier versions for years. For some time now, I’ve been noticing that it totally missed the forecast. Since I was a longtime user, I just put up with the inaccuracies. Friends have used other, better apps and would often know better what the weather would do. Today was the final straw. The hourly presentation showed 0% throughout the day. No hint of precipitation anywhere the WeatherBug forecast. None. Of course it was pouring rain with lightning, thunder and pea-sized hail. No hint at all from WeatherBug. NONE!!! I was getting significant weather warnings from other apps, but WeatherBug was showing sunny with 0% chance of precip. If this was just one isolated incident, I’d blow it off. But this is the norm for WeatherBug. I gave it two stars because the radar presentation is actually quite good. I spent 30+ years as a radar air traffic controller, so I know what I’m talking about. I’m also a commercially rated pilot. I have formal education and training in meteorology. If the radar presentation wasn’t good on this app I’d permanently delete it.

My go to app for weather!

Nothing fancy but a good overview of what your day looks like. Simple, easy to use with good accuracy.

I would like to see a weather map showing warm/cold fronts and high and low pressure centers. Also a colorized satellite map is needed. The current gray scale map is not useful in seeing the cold vs warm cloud tops in Tstorms, hurricanes etc...showing intensity.

More accurate, more weather stations, and easier to read/access data than other apps, including weather apps that claim to be designed for pilots and sailors. However, I wish they included historical data for the past 5 to 7 days on total rainfall, high temperature, and low temperature.

Weatherbug use to be a very useful daily info app in my life, with reliable weather alerts that I depended upon. Now it serves as an uncontrollable daily alarm clock to wake us up and numb us to weather alerts that we depended upon, such as tornado warnings. Every morning I get a Pollen Alert, through the same push alert mechanism used by real weather alerts. There is no way to turn this off except by disabling all push alerts (which would include disabling tornado warnings). Presuming this might have been some insidious scheme by an allergy medication sponsor, I deleted Weatherbug app and spent $10 to get the non-advertiser sponsored "Elite" version. Nope, the daily Pollen Alerts occur there too, also with no way to stop it. Pollen alerts occur even on days when there is nothing but rain for the day. I must now consider abandoning this weather app altogether. Humans need to sleep. I have written the developer three times, and found that to be a little better than broadcasting radio transmissions into a black hole.

Very helpful to me

Easy to review multiple locations (trip locations, where kids live, 2nd home) and gives immediate, 10 day, and the regional map pinpoints much better than just a regional prediction = fast, easy, accurate.

Ive had this app for years. I paid 3 or 5 dollars or something. It works great and is very accurate. I work outside and need to keep a eye on lightning and other weather events that can possiblly sorta k*** you .

I am not happy with the new agreement that is now required. It is a legally binding agreement, when all I want is to check the temperature and current conditions. I don’t understand why these restrictions are necessary. This was a great app until now.

Looks more like the The Weather Channel with overwrought drama from somewhere else. When I open the app, than detailed weather info for the local area period.

I love Weather Bug. It is my way to stay informed about possible emergency weather threats.

WeatherBug is my go to app for all my weather needs.

I’ve had this app for years. I remember even paying for an upgraded version because it was so much better. All wether apps have pretty much caught up now, but this to me is the most accurate, easy to use, and worth it.

Early version of WB had an option to turn on chirping sounds with severe weather warning. Any chance you can bring back?

I love the amount of information and easy to read radar. That being said, in my area the radar visual seems to increase the volume of storms. Only reason it’s not a 5. This is one of those I wish you could half stars

This app has continued to improve over time, which means the creator wants it to stay relevant. It has gotten progressively more elegant and simple to use, while offering really detailed information not found in other apps. Highly recommended.

I have been using Weather Bug for many years. Occasionally I would try a different weather program. But, I always returned to Weather Bug. It’s accuracy and ease of use made it my favorite...hands down.

Very easy to understand and use. Just a quick look and you have all the info you need without having to dig. The upgrade is good without being over the top. The thing I dislike about so many upgraded apps is the changes that don’t improve the app only make it harder to use. Fixing something that isn’t broken just make the look different is irritating. Bug fixes are important, but the rest isn’t.

Keeps asking to open the app and accept the latest Terms of Use and Privacy Policy but the app doesn’t have any accept button.

I use Weatherbug everyday. Always accurate. Weather, maps and air quality reports are of special interest to us.

I’ve downloaded many weather apps, but I go to weather bug first. I’ve deleted all others except 1 other besides this one.

Hopefully this App will continue to perform well and not change their philosophy. I’ve used weatherbug for over 4 years. It doesn’t show weather exactly where I am, but close enough for me to be very happy with the app. We’ve moved to a more rural location and it works great out here, too. No app is perfect...weatherbug is close. Keeps me alerted for inclement weather, floods, tornadoes, etc.

Love using the radar part of the app. Would be 5 stars if you could view echo tops of the storm cells. Great use for pilots!

I have used Weatherbug on my phone for maybe 5 years. I have tried other apps and always come back to Weatherbug. The only problem I have is that it won’t refresh when I want it.

To keep it simple, I was fishing one day and had one eye on the radar on my phone. I told the guy I was fishing with that it was going to start to rain in about eight minutes, and lo and behold I did. That’s just one part of the app though, I feel like I am always in touch with what’s going on outside even when I’m stuck inside

I like this app a lot, lots of good info. I boat in Florida so it’s handy to have the weather radar out in the gulf. The only complaint I have is sometimes sections of the radar layers either freeze or are missing when animating.

No one can give an accurate weather. But this one comes close to be accurate . I like the notifications of lighting strikes and the radar of rain approximately to me too

Not a fan of the radar, there is no future track of storms.

Weather Bug is the only thing I look at to find out the weather.

I’ve used and enjoyed Weatherbug for years because I got the weather I needed, in any city I wanted, and in a great layout. What I don’t need filling up the bottom fourth of my iPhone screen is “Featured Video”! I can visit YouTube for videos of weather. This was a bad idea, and I hope you will remove it…or at the very least give us the option to move it off of page 1! If not I’ll be forced to find another weather app and delete what used to be the best weather app available.

I use the native weather app and weather channel app, this one always has more accurate information and notifications are prompt and faster than the other two.

Watch it everyday! So useful and reassuring!

More reliable and accurate than the weather channel app.

Something has gone wrong with the radar maps for SE Michigan. Right now Weather Bug is showing rain across the “thumb” of Michigan, but the sky’s are clear and there is no rain. None of the other weather apps are showing rain. I have reported this issue multiple times, including screen shots, but it has not been fixed. They claim to be getting faulty radar data. Looking for a more accurate weather app.

Unfortunately, there are many times it doesn’t break down the hours where my other apps do much more easily. Also it’s not as accurate for rain as some of the other apps. I still use it. I’m a runner and I need to check different apps to see what the weathers like.

I have 5 weather apps but Weather Bug is my go-to choice. It’s all there at my fingertips. Accurate and clear information. Great app.

I like the hyperlocal weather data, but the app has inconsistencies. The daily forecast is often different than the hourly forecast (which I find to be completely inaccurate). For example, the daily forecast says 60% chance of rain (similar to other weather forecasts), but the hourly shows 0% all day! This is clearly not correct. Please sync these up.

I like this app

Temperature is usually off by 4-7 degrees even when picking a location 2 miles away. They predict a daily high of 95 when it’s noon and already 95. Then few hrs later predicts a daily high for the day of 97 when it’s 97 outside. Then it winds up reaching 99-100 for a high. Way more accurate for u to buy a thermometer & make ur own guess based on yesterday’s high that you read off your own thermometer. Radar graphs are reasonably useful. This app is better than nothing & better than most others.

Has pretty good weather reporting and radar is useful. Good graphics.

7-23-2018 Update On numerous occasions the app didn’t indicate neither rain in our area or severe weather. That’s unacceptable and in fact dangerous. It’s let me down too many times, so it’s been deleted. Will check back in a year or so and see if it’s any better... probably won’t be on the App Store then, which wouldn’t surprise me. This used to be my favorite weather app, however, since the last update it crashes constantly. What a shame! This app should be taken off the app store until it is proven to work without all the crashes. If you're considering this app, wait and see if the developer addresses the crash issues (and weather warning issues) BEFORE purchasing it!! I just purchased HD 4Cast and love it, but if WeatherBug Pro is ever fixed, I'll likely add it back. I always new versions were supposed to be better, unfortunately somebody was having a real bad day when they upgraded this one. Looking for a "fix," but since it's been going on for a while, I'm NOT holding my breath!

The app is nice, and I use it for hourly forecasts, but the daily forecasts are always not the right temperatures. Maybe they can improve it in the future. The app has a lot of information, that’s nice!

I am a medical provider that relies on the most up to date information for the safety of my patientS, athletes and by standards. This is the closest app to saving lives. I appreciate the easiness of the app interface. But information usually gets backlogged or missed when trying to update on the most up to date radar possible even with the elite app. I guess I will need to purchase a whole weather system to save lives in the future. Also, when trying to read articles, the story lines overlap and are impossible to read. I would go and choose another app if you are advising patrons and patients if their safety. If you are a civilian then this would be a great app otherwise!

Hourly forecasts are often off ...but use satellite to be sure

Weather Bug is a great app. You can get weather info from all over the United States. You should download it.

Weather bug helps me make good choices in the morning and is accurate on an hourly basis as to what the weather will be. The feature of having several different locations is also extremely useful. It helps me know how to dress myself and the kids, and also what the air-quality and other problems might be.

Appears to function till lighting is close enough to hear thunder in the distance at which point all you get is a black screen when launched. What good is an app that fails every time you need it.

I wtried the regular and elite versions and the main reason I use your app is for the lightning map as I live in Fl and they come up quickly. For 2 days I haven’t been able to get anything but a black screen of death on regular weatherbug and the elite version! If it’s gets fixed soon I’ll change my rating otherwise it’s no better than any other free weather app and I spent money on elite for nothing.

I used to really like this app, so much so that I would have paid more for it. Now it’s so slow and the Spark lightning feature will not even work at all. I have emailed support but have not ever received a response.

Works excellent for me! No hiccups, no lag, and no inaccuracies. Hoping for a new UI from Weatherbug soon! The only issue I have is when trying to access the widget, it will prompt you to accept the Terms which I’ve already accepted before using the app itself. Is this a bug that needs to be fixed? I have trusted Weatherbug to keep me informed about the weather since the very, very early 2000’s. As accurate as any guy/gal on TV, and 200% less annoying. Good old, trusted Weatherbug! Try it, you just might like it!

I have used weather bug for so many years and it’s a really good weather app. But: Why has the weather bug not updated their local pictures since fall of 2017? I enjoyed looking at all the local pictures and I have submit a few also. It made weather bug feel more individualized by sharing local pictures.

The best weather app!

Not sure what is happening with the elite app but it only downloaded 10 minutes of radar an hour old plus it wouldn’t update the weather several times in several days. Up until now, I’ve really loved the app. Please fix the bugs soon.

This app is trouble-free on my iPhone 8 Plus. I really like the future radar feature on the weather maps. The ability to add multiple locations makes it easy to check weather at places where I travel. Very happy with this app.

Radar has not been working for quite some time. Why?

We use this on the job site constantly. The Lightening Strike indicator is one of the most useful tools I have used! It really is very very accurate.

The enhanced version of WB is outstanding. We used it to navigate around inclement weather over the Memorial Day weekend here in GA. Accurate and real time.

I love the AP but it will not work with windows 10 I do use it on my iPhone

In my humble opinion, if you have this app, you don’t need any other weather app. Over and over, I have been absolutely amazed at its accuracy, down to the hour. It’s the greatest weather app out there.

Very informative

I’ve have both weather bug and the weather Channel apps on my phone and compare the two when the weather looks dicey. For my area here in western Pennsylvania, the weather bug is right more often than the weather Channel app.

It’s hard to say one prefers one weather app to another but consistently, since I got it, I like Weatherbug best. It gives you the information you want — now, hourly, next 10 days... but so do all the others. It’s right most of the time, but, and increasingly, so are all the others. There are few commercials, and the page for every device, (iPhone, tablet, etc.) are readily acceptable. You know, I’d have to say that because they never ask you if your planning a trip, because they never suggest other things you might like, et al. It is because they just never impose, that is why I like Weatherbug the best.

Great app and accurate.

I tried 6 different weather apps and I consistently went back to this one. I like the summary for the day, Spark the lightning notifier and the maps. Living in southwest Florida we get a lot of thunderstorms, Weather Bug provides clear, concise weather information in a logical manner. I use it on my iPhone , personal and work computer.

I have been relying on Weatherbug as long as I have had electronic devices. It is the first thing I look at in the am and is frequently viewed during the day! Reporting is accurate. All of the features on the website are interesting to me and I can trust the forecast.

This is my go to tool for travel and planning the next 10 days.

After having killed the ability to move the home screen cards into an order that suited you, WeatherBug has now restored that functionality. Sometimes I wonder what developers are thinking when they remove customization functionality. Living in Southwest Florida, I don't want to have to hunt down the card with the lightning data when the sky turns black. And air quality may be of importance to some in this area during fire season — so that's when that card may move to the top. Different strokes for different seasons. So, thanks. And all in all, a great, accurate, customizable weather app.

Shows me the weather, but the radar overlays are barely there. Used to be dark green. Now so pale can barely see.

I really like this app. They could improve on the radar.

I bought Weather Bug Elite after the Weather Channel Max app added all their ‘fluff’. Now Weather Bug Elite has forced the ‘fluff’ on paying customers. I imagine it’s only a matter of time before they’ll be adding ads to their ad-free app. Someday, I’ll find a weather forecasting app that takes its job seriously instead of puppy and kitten videos because this, unfortunately, isn’t it.

I like this app above most of the others for one reason. It is smaller and does not take up as much space. For that reason alone I will use it. How could it be better? Where I live wind is a big deal. I can see one entry for wind only. Nothing in the hourly forecast. Nothing about current gusts, etc. nothing in the main section, I have to add it. If the app wasn’t space-conscious I would go with other apps that do have a significant wind presence.

-UPDATE- It seems v5.4.7 (31) brought back the reorder layout option! The radar also shows a future forecast. Updated my rating accordingly. ——————————— Seems the last update removed layout customization. Also seems the radar is missing future forecast animation.

This app used to be good, but it’s slow or sometimes simply doesn’t work. Disappointed.

Now has gossip and clickbait videos. I just want the weather. Had to delete.

It is great to have such a dependable and accurate weather tool in my hand. A recent high school spring football game was cancelled after the 3rd quarter because of lightning and rain but not before Weather Bug accurately warned us of the dangerous approaching conditions. Great multi faceted tool!

When checking the hourly forecast, I’ve been surprised many, many times to find it says no rain, when it’s actually raining. When I check the map radar, it does indeed show the moisture. It’s like the one hand isn’t communicating with the other. Makes me wonder how accurate the other info (air quality, pollen, etc) is. I miss Storm.

I admire different features in different weather apps. I suppose it’s human nature to have favorites. WeatherBug is my favorite for hourly weather at my place. When I am taking a road trip this hourly data at a fixed location is less interesting than more regional coverage. Other apps do a better job here. Only one app gives me an overview of surface winds over a wide region ... and sadly it is no longer supported. We need a weather app that can be user programmed from bits and pieces of our favorites. I would start with WeatherBug and end up with something very different. Suppose we each would craft our own ideal weather app. Good luck.

I love weather apps (yes, I’m a nut - okay, and a runner), and I love Weather Bug the most. Clean interface, intuitive features, as general or specific as a user may want. I had the free version for years, and it was excellent, but finally opted for the paid version to get the additional bells and whistles.

I like the hourly and 10 day forecasts. I like the radar.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for restoring the ability to manipulate and customize the order of the various elements on the main screen. That option suddenly disappeared when I upgraded to Weather Bug Elite a few months ago and I was SO disappointed that I immediately emailed you about it and you kindly responded that you were working on it, and you were(!), and it’s fixed. Awesome! I LOVE WEATHER BUG ELITE! If you don’t have it, try Weather Bug for a bit. It’s identical but for the ads and the ads are minimal. But, the paid Elite version is worth the one-time fee because the developers are listening and working! My favorite weather app, hands down.

The latest version in fantastic. The look is great, editing and viewing stations is much easier. Well worth the price.

Got this app years ago and have loved it most of the time. Did the lifetime fee to avoid ads and data mining. There was a short time where the developer tried everything to get me to switch to the free version. Glad they honored their lifetime contract. Love the app, and use it constantly.

Weatherbug was shown to me over three years ago and I have relied on it ever since. There are some other 10 star sites out there, and weatherbug remains my go to upfront site today -though I do have another one as well. WeatherBug has by and far the v e r y b e s t w e a t h e r j o u r n a l i s m which can be found. It is a delight to take a few extra seconds to read about weather systems- b e c a u s e ... Everything is so well written! Also the reliability of forecasting and of reporting currently has proven reliable an informative. ThankYou WeatherBug

Accurate forecast, simple layout and good design. Wish it had a dark setting

Excellent weather app with very nice 10-day forecast and easy to see all the weather at any location. Other apps make you look more and work harder to see all local weather at a glance. BEST WEATHER RADAR of all the apps I checked. My favorite, although I continue to use at least one more weather app to double check temps and forecasts.

This has always been my favorite weather app. I think I have tried them all, and always come back to this. Love the accuracy and style!

Just came back to this weather app. Straightforward UX, lots of info and accurate for my locale. Add the abilities to keep the map displayed when the device is on power and overlay multiple maps, and it’s a 5 imo.

This usually is a pretty good app but lately it’s giving inaccurate temperatures. Yesterday was a cold day in the Chicago area. On the news they said it was in the 69’s, other weather apps said 60’s, and just going outside and experiencing the temperatures told you it was cold. However, Weather Bug was reporting it to be 96. And today it is already off by 10 degrees. Hmmm.

I've never had any problems with this app and I love the radar.

I like WeatherBug Elite, but while the latest update added some nice features, the apps usability lost its way. Now we have a bunch of blank space on the Now tab between the temperature etc. and the “widgets”, and the “widgets” are in an order that doesn’t make sense for me, and I can’t customize their order. Not good. I either want to rearrange them or turn some off. Thanks

Just a great app. Like how you hourly, or daily weather. And it is quick on my IPad mini 4.

For my needs it is serving the purpose. I live in a city so plenty of stations. I like the new air quality feature. Only problem is occasionally the hourly precipitation forecast will give all 0% on a rainy day.

I use Weather Bug several times each week. Not only is it usually as accurate as my local tv weather, when I travel I am able to quickly get an idea of what is happening in the local area. I also use the integration with the Apple Watch so that I can track the outside temp. Great app! 👍

Really like it. When my dog gets nervous I check how far the lightening is and try to comfort him. His fur gets very static before lightening storms. Also have fun comparing weather with daughter across the country. The weather bug is very accurate. Thanks for a very nice application.😍🐶

They deny access to this app unless you agree to terms they change in the middle of the game. I thought that if I paid for an app I owned it.

I like the Notifications, e. g., “High probability of thunderstorms …”. But they would be a whole lot more useful if they were time and date stamped.

I have been using Weathbug for several years and it is still my favorite weather app. I try others and some are very good but Weatherbug does what I nerd it to do. Good local alerts and radar images are my priority.

I’m kind of weather j***** and have several weather apps, but for daily use I keep coming back to Weather Bug. It has an intuitive user interface, near realtime weather updates, daily and hourly forecasts, a multilayer map, and tons of other useful features. It also allows me to save cities that I may travel to.

I get weather at home, work and the cities my college students are in one easy location. I even added London when we were vacationing. I’m glad I paid and got rid of the bothersome ads.

I haven’t received push notifications in months. All settings are set up to receive notifications. Issue is with the app.

I hate that air quality is at the top of screen. It should be at the bottom or there should be capability to order features as one wishes. I’ve contacted developer twice. No change. Dislike this.

It may not be as interactive as the other weather apps (which I keep 4-5 on my phone) but the ease and accuracy keep this app as my first go to. I love being able to share and view pics from around the world as well.

I have used WeatherBug for about 20 years I guess. For a mobile user who travels to many remote areas, the number of local stations means I can frequently find local data within 10 or 15 miles. I find the weather radar to be very accurate, even use it for route decisions when encountering storms.

Sad how many good apps are degraded by dumb ui choices. No three day forecast. Now there’s a huge “air quality” box in the middle of the information I actually need and the tiles can’t be sorted. I am tired this kind of nonsense. Unnecessary clutter that replicates navigation buttons just below (where they belong). Annoying and close to delete-able.

I have 5 different weather apps and weather bug is the one I use most. I am very happy with it and I believe that any who says anything bad about it is working for your competition. Keep up the good work!!!

I have been a devoted user through thick and thin with WeatherBug Elite from the very start a decade ago. I ALWAYS rated it 5 stars and it was my most-used 3rd Party app. I loved that I could quickly check the temps in other cities with a quick swipe to the left. But I hated it when they changed how a swipe to the left instead takes you to the next page of info for the city you’re currently on. That was several months ago. But they still allowed a swipe left on the name of the city to take you to the next city. Now, even that has been taken away and replaced by taking you to the list of cities. Hate it. Time to start using Weather Underground more.

I’ve had this app for years and I love it.

The design of the weather quality is poor. The font choices used is bad. Other wise the App is okay.

Can plan my day. Can get critical and current weather info, especially for safety. Thank you. (So sad when others must only complain, now seemingly typical of many in today’s society. Instead of appreciating the good, certain ones only look for bad.)

On the old version of weather bug you we are used to be able to put things where I wanted to see them in the order that I wanted I would like that function back please. You can take the air-quality c*** off to I don’t care to look at it and if I did it would be all the way at the bottom if I were able to move my stuff around like I used.

I fish bass tournaments so 10 day and hourly forecasts with wind estimates are important.

Provides all the weather information you need. Worth every penny. Simple but with lots of detail if you are interested.

I like the app, but other apps send emergency alerts sooner than this app does!! Just soon improvement that is needed.

Great - shows a fairly accurate report of what is coming

I really like two things about this app. They seem to have some sort of arrangement with local schools etc, to get readings that are truly local. And you don’t get the crazy-hysterical stuff that the weather channel specializes in.

Love this app. Use it everyday. When I’m out biking and rain showers are in the forecast. I avoid them with the map view. Best weather forecasting

The only suggestion I have for weather bug is to be able to edit the information on the face page. Like to move pollen count to the bottom and some other aspects closer to the top have been playing around with it but just haven’t found out our sure I can be done any help would be much appreciated

This app gives me my local weather but also gives an accurate picture of the areas in which I have an interest. Good and accurate.

Used to like this app a lot. I liked tapping it and seeing everything I needed to know - temp, conditions, wind, and at the bottom was the sunrise/sunset time. However since it was updated, the air quality feature takes up the bottom third of my screen, and the sunrise/sunset got pushed down off the screen forcing me to scroll to see it. There’s no option to rearrange the features you want to see without scrolling. The air quality doesn’t need to take up so much space. And it should be optional. Very disappointed. Regretting updating this app as I was happy with it before.

For $9 dollars this app is way over rated. Been into metrology since 1995. Worked in the NWS building in Gaylord,Mi. Good knowledge people. This app is using our local airport for stats. Which gives no wind gusts, no precipitation amount. At least the NWS out of Gaylord gives a point forecast 3 miles NW of Cadillac and comes up with the info not included in this app. Weather Mate and Storm both apps, does give the wind gust and precipitation. The rest of the app is laid out nice. Switching between radar, watch’s and warning, wind, etc is a pain. You can do better especially for what you charge.

I’ve been using Weather Bug Elite for about 8 tears, and I hate the new “Air Quality” section. It’s not terribly relevant where I live, and I’d much rather see the larger “observations” section in that spot. At least give users the ability to move it. Ever since the last update I can’t move their stinking air quality tab down, or rearrange the tabs as I see fit. I used to be able to but they took that feature away. Why? Who the h*** knows. All I know is I paid for this app and it’s not as good as it used to be.

You used to be able to move the home screen cards into an order that suited you. Now that ability had been discontinued. Very disappointed. I really have no interest in seeing air quality in my face. Nice to have for smog infested areas I am sure. But give us back the ability to move them. Long is MUCH more important to me at certain times of the year. Others, it is the current conditions. Dropped the ball... Just when I was staying to embrace weather bug again because it had info other apps don't.

WeatherBug is excellent, and has weather data sources worldwide. A couple of things I would like to see: a daily summary of recent past weather, eg high/low temps and precipitation amounts for the last 7 days; and I would like if temps displayed in both Celsius and Fahrenheit scales, rather than having to switch back-and-forth - that would be really handy when travelling outside the US.

I’ve been using this for years, I don’t think any weather prediction app can we perfect, because it is, the weather. However, I can look at the radar and see what’s coming. Their long term prediction seems to be better than national news, and right on par with local news. I like the fact that I can quickly look at multiple places and save those places because I have family there or I travel to those places often. Can it get better? Of course, what can’t. Maybe a section for icefishing, telling me how thick the ice should be! Other than that, not bad.

Favorite weather app...Exceeds expectations.

They added this waste of space air-quality section but now you can no longer re-order the sections on the Now screen so that the more useful ones can be near the top

This was far and away my favorite weather app until the latest update. Now, air quality is prominently displayed on the home page. This is not something I care about and really has nothing to do with weather. If this remains, I will find something else.

Bring back wind speeds on the hourly forecast. I use it for fishing/boating. So it’s more helpful with the wind speeds

But just today I’ve totally lost the ability to sort the items in the "NOW” view. Really bad now ‘cause I have to scroll and scroll to see the items I want to see UPDATE: 24 hours later and I’ve ditched ELITE. I’m 70 years old and been a weather geek all my life due to working outside my whole working life for utility companies. The WEATHER UNDERGROUND app is THE most REPLETE, COMPLETE weather app I’ve EVER tried. NO ADS on iOS version and $1.99/year for the Android version. Amicably... bye-bye to Weather Bug and all things Accuweather.

I have used this app for many years and it is excellent: intuitive to use; comprehensive information including weather advisories, wind, precipitation, and temp; and helpful icons that visually distill the forecast to simple representative symbols. The forecasts are usually accurate within the scope of predictive model data available. We are a very outdoor oriented family and this app is indispensable. Tip: switch to radar placing the data “in motion” on the day of the weather to get most accurate read where the visual movement equates to one hour - to see when the weather will arrive. Awesome app.

I've used several weather apps over the years, and none are as consistently accurate. The amount of detail is great, as are the alerts! I've had the Elite version for several years, and liked it so much I gifted it to my entire family.

There last update shipped the widget from working. You need a fix.

Very accurate

This used to be a great app, now it’s just so-so. The interface is nice, but it no longer has as many weather sites, especially important in an area like this which has many “micro-climates.” There used to be a site within a mile of us, but not any longer. Disappointing.

I’ve tried free and paid. This one I returned to and kept! Try all the rest and come back to a user friendly, beautifully crafted interface and accurate app!

I would highly encourage you to choose Weather Bug as your reliable source of information. It has all you need to know about the weather around you. It will tell you what the temperature is on other days. So, I think you should choose Weather Bug as your reliable weather app.

This app has the fastest loading radar of any of my weather apps.

On the latest version you can no longer set order of info sections. Air quality is not the second most important section but on “Now” view is is second and there is no way to move it down or hide it. It takes 30% of the screen!!!!!

This app works great for me , I can see the storms on the radar and that works great for me . The projected forecasts are updated frequently enough to help me make important decisions.

Don’t waste your time or money it’s full of junk you do not even need and you cannot get rid of it. If there was a rating lower than one star that’s what I would get it

Like the old version that was a five stars. Now that I have gotten use to the changes, it is much better than the old version. I don’t ever look at my other weather apps that I had and bought.

I use 3 different apps, all are different on weather predictions so can’t say any are always right. The Bug is usually most accurate on 10 day forecast and the other app more accurate for 2 hour rain chance. 3rd app is a radar app and is good to see rain conditions as well as what is coming live. Would highly recommend the Weather Bug in addition to several others for best weather coverage.

For me this is the best weather app I have found. It has lots of weather details when you want them but it does not clutter up the basic info when you just want a quick summary. The radar maps work well.

Wow. Read reviews. Hard to believe the wide range of experiences. I have tried every weather app I can find on both my iPad and iPhone & I keep coming back to elite version of WeatherBug. Guess I feel comfortable with the user interface. I have had none of the negative experiences: have not needed to contact the developers, I live in a metropolitan area so lots of weather collection points around me, and most importantly I find the reports and alerts accurate for my area. So I have no complaints! I believe what others are saying: if the developers are not responding to users that is a serious issue. I also agree that their marketing has been confusing. Best not to have different versions and different levels of app performance. I noticed the changes in the icon and ignored the issue. Growing pains of the app world. I use Hurr Tracker for info on hurricanes but since they rarely affect my area I could pass. The app Storm gives me graphic detail of surface winds that I depend on for planning my birding trips. The detail available from Weather Underground makes a good case for using their apps. But I keep coming back to WeatherBug ... simple, uncomplicated, accurate, but I will keep several other weather apps handy. That’s it.

I was still using WBElite on a daily basis and with this update I'll continue to do so. I still see wind gust info as well as wind speed & direction...essential info for ultralight flyers. This version also works on my iPad which the old version didn't. Long live Weather Bug!

I absolutely adore weather bug elite and have used it for close to a decade (I started using it way back on the first Blackberry Bold) and it’s only gotten better over time!

I really like this app - I have the regular weather app on my iPhone and I have this one. The weather forecasting on weather seems historically to be more accurate. Also it gives me several features which I use regularly and have come to depend on: perhaps the most important of these is weather alerts from the national weather service regional service office. These alerts include things like winter storm warnings, high wind warnings, severe weather (hail) warnings, flood warnings, etc. it tells how far away the lightening strikes occurring in the last 30 minutes are. In the winter these are typically over 1000 miles, but in the summer they can be less than a mile. I like the radar view feature, the highway camera view feature, the detailed hour by hour feature. This is really a great app and I use it a lot! Many thanks to the provider!

I am a contractor in Pittsburgh that works 90 perfect outdoors. This app is a must have for me for work. More accurate then my local weather channels on tv. Keep up the with updates and it works great.

Weather Bug works for me. Been to other areas of the country and its always worked. I recommend it.

As a truck driver I heavily depend on this app and I only do so because of the accuracy and additional information it provides. I have a few other fellow drivers that call me for updates on driving conditions. Love this app. Highly recommended.

I have been using Weather Bug for as long as I can remember. My wife uses the weather channel app and my weather bug is always more precise.

Great app. My only ding is to fix whatever station dictates your wind speed. It’s gusting 40+ mph right now, and the app says it’s blowing at 20 mph

This app has never disappointed me, it’s video radar helps me know the direction the storm is moving and if we will be in the narrowed difference we often have from neighboring towns due to our higher elevation than they. I live in tornado alley so storms can come up quickly. Reality and Weather bug has taught me I can trust its locational ability, severity level, speed of movement of our storms here.

I had problems in the past and took it off my phone. Put it back on and I feel it has improved. I use it more than the local application. I would recommend an additional try.

But I loved the old app!!!!! This one is minimalistic and futuristic... not user friendly at all. Bring the old one back for those who would like to change back...

So much more accurate than any other app, including the weather Channel. And now even easier to use. I will say that the station is close to me, however, when they project let’s say 88 degrees in hot weather, it’s always 2-3 degrees hotter. So I can tell what it’s really going to be by adding that to their prediction.

I love the WeatherBug Elite App. It is always accurate and exactly what I need to plan my days activities and my wardrobe.

It is a real good app, except for some bugs here and there, like the weather outlook video just not wanting to play. But maybe it’s a problem with iOS 11?

I've had the Elite version for years, and found it to be very useful. It still is, and the temperature that it reports usually matches up closely with what is showing on my outdoor thermometer, so when I travel I'm pretty confident that whatever it is reporting is correct. I do wish there was an option to reverse the colors so that the background was black and the text was white; it would be easier to read.

I’ve tried a BUNCH of apps and this one is the only one that works for me personally. I have used it for years and purchased it twice. (My fault because I changed my Apple ID.) It’s worth the buy!

I love this weather app. Had lots of info!! I only wish it would give the moonrise & set times. Same for sunrise & sunset!! Otherwise, I find all the other info very helpful!! I recommend this app, very highly!
