The perfect addition to the iPad. A great utility, especially nice if the iPad is docked on your desk. Has everything you need in a weather app.

I love WeatherStation. It blows the old iPhone weather app out of the water. Even though there iPad app for weather I think i still would use this one because of it's ease of use and really good looks. I have it set to show my weather when i wake up in the morning. Really helpful. Email support and suggestions were also extremely fast and helpful.

Just a quick note about the review that stated *not* being able to change to Celsius from Fahrenheit. It *does* have that ability and it is as simple as double-tapping the temperature.....it switches in an instant. Prior to this purchase I downloaded the paid version of AccuWeather and found it a bit lacking. Yes....it was in color and looked nice but there was so much on the screen that you couldn't glance at it to get a quick update before you run out the door. Anyway, this application does the basics very well. I use it in the dock on the kitchen counter. The minimalist design allows you to quickly read the information across the room. This does look like one of those dedicated desktop weather devices you would see from Brookstone (or the Sharper Image). On top of the application being very good the support from the seller (Nicolas) has been outstanding. I had a few issues with the app when I first bought it and brought them to his attention. He was already working on it and he even took the time to notify me that he submitted the update to the App Store. The latest update completely resolved my issues. BOTTOM LINE: Great looking functional app with a responsive developer to support it. Can't get much better than that.

The best weather forecasting app for the iPad! It has a clean and very easy-to-use interface! Very straightforward at a great price too, highly recommended!

Quick and minimalist. Needs more features for a paid ad. Hourly forecast would be very nice to have to plan a day while traveling etc.

It looks nice. I like the minimalist approach a lot. that's why I bought it. but I can't switch to Celcius... really? That's a pretty basic feature for a weather app. I assumed it was in the "settings" which you can see in the screenshots, however, this is actually replaced by "cities" in the real app. There are no "settings" in this app. The other thing is when clicking on "cities" button, it show the listing of different cities in the edit mode by default so you have to first tap once to get out of edit mode, and then tap the other city you want to check. I thought maybe instead you could swipe between cities but that doesn't work. Finally, you can't reorder the cities by dragging their names in edit window... Big bummer. Those would need to be addressed before I can bump up the rating and recommend this app to friends.

Very disappointed child like graphics I am on an island clearly blowing excessively and it says 1 mph poor graphics not accurate

Works great - would love a "current location" option. For celsius, just tap any temp and it will toggle (as will the wind speed).

Perfect next to my desk or bed! Great update! To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius is easy, you just tap the temperature. Not sure why another reviewer had an issue with it :)

Very nice looking and fast. It's a pity there is no barometer and hygrometer function. If so I would give it 5 stars. Hopefully a future update.

Great app with good design sense. It's nice seeing a beautiful design in the morning when I check the weather rather than looking at weather underground's cluttered website. The developer is also very responsive. I sent him an email asking for a way to view the percent chance of rain. He emailed backed within a few hours saying he added the feature to his list.

Really like the graphic style, but can't reorder cities.

WARNING: note to self, don't buy a weather app that doesn't list its sources for weather data. Even though I think the visuals and interface are perfect, none of the weather data for the cities I want (NY, PHILLY, CHICAGO) was accurate with standard weather sources. And the developer doesn't list what their source is for weather. It's a great app for mocking up what a weather app could look like.

This would be far superior with a barometer. I wouldn't complain about relative humidity, wind chill, heat index, etc. Addition of those items would give it six stars.

Great app, simple and powerful. But please remove frame and add description of the current weather ( like sunny, windy under the icon of weather)

I was using the Weather Channel app until it became festooned with ads. Ugh, no thanks. And really, I don't miss all of its videos and radars one bit, because Weather Station pro is just so, so pretty. I mean, look. If you're going to replace one of the missing Apple apps — Stocks, Weather, Calculator, or Clock — it's less important that you include every feature imaginable, and more important that you get the look and feel right. And that's what Weather Station Pro does. It's simple and streamlined, sure, but it's perfectly laid-out to give you what you need at a glance. It looks fantastic, and it has a good-looking icon with non-stupid title text (no "HD" or "Lite" or "EXTREME" or any of that rubbish) that you aren't embarassed to have sitting alongside Apple's apps on your home screen. Once it includes percent chance of precipitation, it will be the perfect Weather app replacement. And if I need videos or doppler radar, I'll go to a website.

I have more weather apps than I care to admit, but I really like this one a lot. I track weather in a lot of different cities, and travel a lot, so this is a nice one. To answer another reviewer, I think the reason you are seeing such good reviews is in part because it does exactly what the reviewer wants, nothing more, nothing less. That sort of quality and simplicity in design translates into elegance for many. Ever read Minimal Mac? If not, check it out. If so, then you should already know the answer to your question. One request, and maybe I have just missed it. I can add cities, I can delete cities, but unless I have overlooked it, I cannot re-order cities. With respect to design, I think the Reeder-esque "pastel-ization" and pale lines, etc., can be over-done. There is something to be said for contrast. Those two things, for me, translate into 4 stars, not 5.

A very nicely done, yet simple, weather monitor. Includes high/ low and a clean multi-city view on the ipad's side.

Very slick app. Launches fast, communicates its information very clearly. Much easier to use than other weather apps, even if it doesn't give as much information. My only wish is that I could get a slightly more detailed forecast, specifically in terms of chances/amount of precipitation, as my main reason for watching the weather is knowing when it will rain. saxgod, I don't know if you'll see this, but you can switch to Celsius just by tapping any of the temperature displays. Similarly you can switch to km/h or knots by tapping the windspeed indicator.

After getting my iPad I found that it did not include the city temperature app built in by Apple [on iphone] (no idea why they dropped it - along with their stock/market price app). Went looking for a simple and to the point app that provides city temperatures along with 5 day forecast.....this app has it all, easy to read and use. After talking to the creator of the app (who was very helpful in addressing some minor issues I found) it will get even better (all cities in portrait screen in addition to current landscape)

This app is incredibly beautiful and functional to just lay on your iPad while it's docked.

Simple, clean, perfect... Not like those other top-heavy apps that are 70 or 80 megs...

I've tried many different weather apps. Some have more data but are slow to load. This is fast to load and nice to look at and you can see multiple cities at a glance. I wish it showed relative humidity and the chance of precipitation. But this is my go to weather app on the iPad.

If you are going to charge money for a weather app, you should at least get the current temperature right! Put in Mayhill New Mexico and the temp read 91 f. It was really about 70. Other apps got it right. Come on people. You can do better.

Nicely designed and unlike all the bloated weather apps, this loads FAST. Would love some darker color options. Could even be cool if one option was to change the color theme based on the current weather...light blue for clear and cool, gray for rainy, orange for hot, etc. Would also love to be able to edit the name of my cities. Some come up as simple city names, but others have the state name attached, cutting off the entire location name. I know the state...no need to have it displayed. A tad bit more granular data wouldn't k*** the simplicity If you tap the screen, maybe an hourly forecast?

Sort doesn't work. Can't order cities. Occasional bug where you have to close app and reopen it to add more cities. It cant find Bremerton ,WA. Lots out there for free. Not worth $2.99

This app is like a beautiful woman that has nothing underneath her pretty exterior. I wish I could click on the daily icons and get some more info, or open a radar map to learn of the conditions. But alas, this beautiful woman is vapid, empty and superficial with nothing to offer except another pretty face.

I have been using it for a week now. No problems at all. Seems like the developer is trying to make this a quality app. I also understand that he is working on new releases with new functionality, great.

Wow, I'm really impressed with this app. Started with 4 cities, and I can bring them up with a tap of my finger. Definitely worth the 99 cents.

Works as advertised and has a clear, attractive appearance. My only complaint is that the portrait mode should show more than one city since the iPad dock holds the iPad in this orientation.

Easy to use. Clean interface. Would have liked the ability to swap cities in portrait mode instead of having to click on the Cities button. My favorite weather map because I needed a simple app to view the 5 day forecast without the extras of radar or other maps.

This is a great weather app without distractions. I just wish you could reorder cities. Additionally, sometimes therevare issues refreshing the data (e.g., sometimes the temp stays at 43 degrees from the night before even though it's 65 outside, or the sunrise and sunset get reset to 12:00 and don't change. Changing cities forces a proper refresh most of the time but it's annoying.).

Best and simplest app for weather in multiple cities. You guys did a great job. (how about getting current weather in the lefthand view for each city listed too?) Will recommend this to others!

Who is giving this app 5 stars?! If you want a VERY basic weather map, this is it. It just gives you the highs/lows for the day and evening, including the wind factor, for up to 5 cities of your choice. No weather warnings, humidity level, etc. Very basic, not even any alternate themes to at least take advantage of iPad's graphics whatsoever. Honestly, this app should be free, considering what you can get in the app store for even 0.99. Get WeatherStation Free, which is super! I'm deleting this one.

This weather app keeps it clean and stylish. This is for people who don't need those corny background videos and prefer something that does the job and looks great. I highly recommend it, even though it could be more competitively priced in my opinion. Still I am very happy with and my only request is that it would allow me the option to manually sort what order I want the cities to be in on the display.

Great app, simple but everything you expect it to do. And a slick design too. Perfectly fills the gap that Apple left when they forgot to add a weather-app :)

My new favourite "quick weather" App - so easy to set up and use, such a clean interface with just enough information to quickly assess weather, excellent!

There are plenty of weather apps out there, but none of them are as simple, intuitive and beautiful to look at as this one. It loads fast and shows only the essentials at a glance. If you need a lot of other information, multiple features and confusing functionality than this app is not for you. However, if you appreciate the aesthetics and need to quickly find out the forecast, this app is for you!

The ease and quickness with which I can view the current weather and forecast is the best feature of this app. However, I'd like to see humidity included.
