I bought this app long ago, back before the 2013 Moore EF-5. It has served me so well since then. And new features keep getting added, making this app basically a portable AWIPS workstation, minus WarnGen. There’s one thing that I’d love to see added, though, and that’s the ability to set our own storm motion vectors and have velocity products calibrated to that. For people who use RadarScope for chasing, that would make it so much easier. Other than that, this app does wonders for storm chasers who are looking for quick and easy access to site specific radar products. Oh, and the app will snap to the closest radar if you enable location. Even without custom SRV, this app gets five stars for its simplicity to use and the tools that can be had with the subscriptions.

Excellent. Only tiny gripe is that the map is too simplistic. Would love an option to increase detail on the map.

I would really like to see watch boxes, a composite view of the U. S. And the ability to to toggle the information to make it 5 stars for $100

Best weather app, period.

The accuracy is amazing. The refresh rate is much better than any other app. Even just going to the beach you can tell down to a few feet if you are going to get rained on or not. Saved the day today!

Please add CarPlay ‼️

It would be awesome to display the data from the nearest radar in CarPlay. Great for solo storm chasers and people that want to avoid a storm along their route. Now you can!

Best app for pro and amateur weather enthusiasts. Hand down.

Five stars is not enough! RadarScope is not only my absolute favorite weather-related app but is solidly one of my top-five overall favorite apps of all time—one of those rare “It’s so good it’s worth buying an iPad just to use it” apps. I found out about RadarScope from watching livestreams of professional storm chasers using it. I figured if it’s good enough for the folks who rely on it to navigate life-or-death situations where small errors could have catastrophic consequences, then it must be one amazing app. Boy, was I right. Yes, this one has a steep learning curve if you’re an untrained, amateur meteorology enthusiast such as myself (I assume if you had a a solid meteorology background, this app would be a piece of cake to use). However, it’s totally worth the investment if you’re looking to step up your weather game. To get full use of it as a non-professional make sure you throughly read the “Radar Products” section in the user guide (and perhaps even outside sources to flesh out the details) to make sure you understand what your looking at (and in that sense, this app also is hands-down the best meteorology education tool on the market). The warnings from the other raters bear repeating here: if you don’t have the knowledge to get the most out of this and aren’t willing to take the time to learn, or if you’re just looking for a basic weather summary to know whether to take a jacket or if your tee time will get rained out, or even if you’re just looking for a basic weather radar, then this app is most definitely NOT the app for you. Also, note that data is provided mainly for the United States.

Renewal drop in features

Beware with your annual renewal of the removal of features from basic package, i.e. LIGHTNING.... I have used RadarScope for several years, but this is a bit ridiculous to move up a Tier for that feature only.

Awesome professional app

First saw this app being used on a Birmingham Alabama TV station during the super outbreak of tornadoes a few years ago. I was hooked and purchased it the same day. Each update is pure thought and usefulness. RS is my first go to app in the event of any weather event. The ability to control the radar's tilt and product is spectacular. 100% recommend well worth the money!
