I use this app 3 times a day and its GREAT!

I really liked the original format better than the current one, but it may be growing on me. I agree with other reviewers that it is a bit slow but I'm in no hurry. I just like having an ap where I can check current weather conditions whenever I want and not being forced to wait for a news broadcast! Thanks KGW!

Only weather app I use, great

I use this app every morning before I get dressed. It's great!

Loads quick and easy I navigate. Forecast is as good as can be.

Was fine when it was still part of the news app, until it stopped working. When this came along, I was pretty satisfied. I check it all the time for lots of locations and find it pretty handy. Not perfect but definitely worth having.

This app is very helpful to me everyday. One question; when you report a 50% chance of rain, does it mean that you really don't know? 50/50???

I like it and quite convenient when you don't have time to watch channel 8 news.

Find it disappointing that, on most days, the extended forecast feature in the app never matches the 7 day forecast feature in the app nor the day planner. I like KGW and their meteorologists. The app reliability never matches the news. Disappointing. It does not seem like it would be all that hard for them to keep the app as reliable as they are. As it is, I never know which section to defer to.

Offers lots of info and organized nicely. Try it!

This app helped out on plans for the outdoors, travel, and what vehicle to drive to work. It is a time saver!

Use this app more than any other. Multiple times daily. It's accuracy is without peer. It's almost embarrassing how much I rely on it.

Generally good, but the video forecast is often out-dated. Recent changes apparently resulted in loss of the regional forecasts. Or else they've made them difficult to find.

Best satellite and radar. Could use some global warming and climate change information.

I loved the old app! It let you know with a steaming banner when and how the weather was going to change down to the minute. Was incredibly accurate! Loved that feature. Miss that and this is too slow. Too dark.

Only better is weather channel. Local is the best.. Rod Hill, Matt are the best in Portland!!

This app is great, it provides a lot more detail about local weather (I especially love weather cams and coastal forecasts). Because of all this, it requires a lot of data and runs a little slow unless on wifi. A great app!

Great for local weather report and 7 day forecast. Occasionally the report seems to be stuck, not changing for days, thus only 4 stars.

My wife and I check out the forecast with this app at least twice a day. Besides the graphics and text, I like the radar; I can watch the rain coming down all over the country!

The team at KGW does a great job of providing current, meaningful data to help Oregonians make the best use of every day. I really appreciate the web cams, as they help me decide whether to plan a trip to the coast or the mountains with live pictures of what to expect. Many thanks!

Nick Allard consistently writes and frequently submits in depth forecasts. I feel like i learn some meteorology and get a more complete forecast for not just today but the next couple of days. I enjoy reading his forecasts! On the other hand beside Matt Zaffino, the other so called meteorologist on your staff leave far too much to be desired. Especially Jim Donovan and to a slightly lesser extend Rod Hill. They really aren't doing their jobs. Donovan might as well be phoning it in every time. I am sick of his projected lack of knowledge and his usurped forecast updates. Please hire someone that has the passion and knowledge for weather as Allard and Zaffino for your weekend forecasting. KGW used to have the best weather team, please get back to there! And where is the weather blog?? That was one of my favorite parts of your app! Heaven fore fend your "meteorologist" actually do a little research and share with those who are interested in weather, hence the acquisition of your app...

I'd mainly say this is a solid local weather app, despite a few bugs, which may be due to general problems with the latest iOS on my 4s.

Have tried all the local wx apps & the KGW user friendly approach is by far the Best.

Love the video portion. It's nice seeing the weather early in the morning.

I love this app and use it ALL the time. Only negative is I wish the webcams would be fixed and updated more often.

I love weather apps and am always trying to find the right one. What happened to "regional" settings? I live in the west Gorge and wish I could get better detail out here. Also, I never know if app is updated to real time. I would like to be able to search for cities/towns/areas, too.

I love KGW so I'm so glad their accurate weather team has their own app. The only problem is I wish it was a little more true when it came to finding my location and telling me the weather where I really am. I live in Gresham but the app reads it as Portland. This summer I was in Sunriver and it said I was in Bend. Close but not quite. Thank you!

Since Koin6 let Sussman go, I deleted their app and now use this for weather updates. Great format, reliable weather.

Great centralized app for local and regional weather.

I thought this app would just be good for Portland Metro area. I have found it works across the country, also identifying the city I was in like when traveling by train. It seems plenty accurate enough to know how to dress.

The daily weather videos have been eliminated. Very disappointing. Might as well use the Weather Channel app....

This is a great app. I love being able to check the weather for my day any time on the go.

This is the app I trust for ACCURATE local weather! All others are "close" but this one never fails.

I depend on their forecast and it seems to always be accurate!

Much more accurate than generic / global apps. Somewhat slow to come up.

Very useful for finding out closure information and forecasting.

This app has a lot of unnecessary fluff, and the only truly useful parts are the wonderfully accurate radar and the forecast. I must emphasize the forecast. Written by a real human, this is easily the most accurate prediction of Portland's up and coming weather that I've seen. Yahoo may have locked down the layout, but this app is where I go to plan my activities. An improved layout would take it to 5 stars.

I'm trying clicking on the high wind warning in the conditions tab in my iPhone and it cannot pull the information. I tried to follow the support link And I could not report the issue... :(

Great to get the local weather I can trust in the palm of my hand. No more waiting for the 11 pm weather report!

It is mostly good but frustrating at times. Problems include: video forecast not updated, webcams not updated, not clear which day Day Planer is for. I supplement with Weather Bug to fill in some of the gaps.

Neat, clean interface. Easy to use. Trustworthy in that it's put together by our local experts, so goes beyond pure computer modeling.
