Not useful for planning. To get the moon rise and set times for a particular day you have to tap the next button one day at a time. Tapping on the calendar needs to bring up the data for that day.

This would get a 5 with info/timing of the recent lunar eclipse.

I love this app. It’s very convenient for finding out the moon rise and set timings and the direction it will rise from. I love to see the moon on full moon days and when there are some significant days when the moon is supposed to be larger then normal, such as the Blue Moon.

I wanted an app that shows the moon phases and rise and set times. It also shows the sun rise and set times too! I love the look of the display.

I’m not that great with a computer, but you don’t have to be with this app. Super simple and loaded with all the info you could think of. I would go on, but I have to go delete my other moon apps.

I watch the moon almost every night, for years, and this is my favorite moon app. Quick and easy one page interface, I especially like the moon/sun rise and set times. Well done!

Though I can see that the app provides a lot of useful technical information, that’s not really my focus. I use the app for project planning, and in that regard, could say its invaluable. Many thanks to the developers!

I just started using this app and I love it! So many useful things. And easy to use. I’m not sure why people are complaining about having to pay for the upgrade- it’s $2.99 for a WHOLE YEAR! It’s easily the best $2.99 I’ve ever spent!

When I need to know the schedule of the phases of the moon, I open Moon Calendar.

I use this program everyday. It has most of the info I need. The only thing I would add would be which constellation the moon is in so I don't have to open a secondary program. Other than that, I absolutely love it!

This is a fine app if you want to know the moon phases, but it isn’t beautiful. I loved Luán. It was simple and gorgeous but developers didn’t update. I wish someone would make a beautiful moon phase app.

This is a good tool for the kids learning about astrology for homework assignments. It’s going to be in good use through out each summer to get them interested in exploring the frontier of our galaxy. Cg7788AZ

the best moon phase app!! I’ve had this app on 5 iphones, it has all the info I want in a clean, well-designed interface; monthly calendar and daily details, slide finger to move the moon along its path and see the angles of elevation and times, and it’s free! :)

Very helpful in terms of finding the position of the moon when I am considering my options for photographing deep space objects versus the Moon. Simple operation, which I appreciate.

Since iPhone has an update I am forced to change moon phase applications and I tried this one. I'm not looking to view the moon with a telescope or do any astronomical research. All I want is an application to show me the MoonPhase sunrise and sunset and the different stages of the moon. But in that application it would be nice if the names of each Full moon were mentioned. Like I said just something I would like to see.

Phases of the moon are very important. this app helps with phases and times, keeping me on time when I need it.

The actual moon calendar shows the days and different phases of the moon. I rely on this as a photographer to be at the shore as the moon is in the rise. The Azimuth chart is a big help too. I use it for fishing forecast. I don't fish on a full moon cycle. Great for that!

This is a useful and user-friendly app for basic moon watching. I would give it 5 stars if it had a couple of simple improvements which all other moon apps have that I've seen. First, there's no percentage of fullness. It shows a picture that gives you a rough estimate, but it would be very easy to put a number next to that picture showing the percentage. Second, when you go to the calendar, you should be able to tap on a date and have the app take you to that date immediately. Instead you have to go close the calendar and go back to the main screen. Fix these simple weaknesses and you'll really have something great.

Live this app. I totally get that it's an astronomy so and bit an astrology app, but for my purposes and the sake of convenience, I would love if they added a bit to tell you what astrological sign the moon is in.

Great app for planning backpacking trips

I am always wondering when is the next full moon or if what we saw last was a full moon. I open this app and all the information is right there. I especially like the calendar view. If you follow the moon, you will want this app!

Love this app! My Lodge meets by the full moon as most did a century ago. This helps me keep track as we meet on the first Saturday on or after a full moon.
