I received alerts for my sisters’ and daughter’s location that I entered, but did not receive any alerts from my area. Zip code 28625 was entered and it said it was tracking it, but I didn’t receive one alert for my city in the 3 days that I used the app. It is helpful for the zip codes it actually tracks and alerts, but I did not help me at all. Disappointed.

Been with Red Cross for many years

I have saved a life, was taught how to swim, I have taken CPR and First Aid courses I have donated blood, volunteered, and I have seen first hand the unprecedented amount of volunteers that have been there during fires, earthquakes, tornadoes and hurricanes not to mention the wealth of knowledge and skills they put out there to help people learn what to do in a crisis! I have used these apps through many situations including Hurricane Mathew and Irma and did not have any problems whatsoever!!!! As a matter of fact, AT&T and Apple kept us up and running throughout! Thank you to all at the Red Cross for doing the world this outstanding service for so many years and keep up the great work!

Basically useless ad for the red cross

Ridiculous not to be able to remove the shelters layer on the map which makes the map impossible to read in South Carolina where every school is a shelter. It also eats up your cell phone battery in an emergency situation. Useless unless you want to know EVERY shelter rather than find the best for you.

Terrible app

Just spins and says loading Hurricane. Map is cluttered with shelter data making it hard to see track. Should be an overlay

Why don’t shown shelter in Florida.

Multiple Apps that could be combined into 1

In theory a good idea. And I like the “I’m Safe” feature. Living in New Orleans, it would be nice to know that parents won’t worry. However, there are multiple apps that could be combined into one.
