Free Digital Temperature App Reviews

This pulls the temp from a webservice.

Since the temp reading on the app differs from the temp reading on the thermostat in my bedroom (which is where I need the heat the most) I am not able to determine, without great expense of hiring electrician, which one is defective. I kind of assume it is the app, since the app is more likely to have problems. Thermostats have been around since the last century. Not so the app.

If I could I would give this app 0 stars! When I searched for a temperature app I expected to find one that works the same way that the iOS calendar & clock apps do, by putting the current local temp right on the app icon. Not some fake erroneous number. You have to run this app in order to get the temp. I can get that by running "The Weather Channel" app and it gives you a lot more local weather info. So, this app is totally useless. Don't waste your time with it!

I downloaded the app to my iPhone. First thing I got was an ad. Then it showed the temp of 39.5 and ‘Feel Like’ 34 degrees. I’m sitting inside my living room. WRONG TEMPERATURE!!

It registered 102.2 no matter where I was located Seriously waste of my time

This app is fake, the only thing it does is use your gps data to look up your location temperature based off the current weather data

It serves the purpose. A quick temp check. No more no less.

Nothing on this app works,,,I feel robbed for the five minutes I spent on this,,,I couldn't give it zero stars so I checked one just so I could tell ppl this is a P.O.S app

I was looking for something that would tell me the temperature of the room I am in... this is nothing more that a copycat of the weather Chanel.

I had to put 1 because there is no zero This is a useless app and fakele sayit get the room temperature IT DOES NOT and there are so many better apps that can give you the weather and in better details

I read the reviews and read a lot of good revirews. Afte all, i just wanted to see the temperature where I might be at a particulare time. Everywhere i went it gave me the same temperature. Save your memory - DON'T GET THIS APP!

Why would I give two rats a**** what the temp outside is? That is what Weather Channel is for. What is the temp in this burning up hellhole gym?

0 temp is by national weather. It’s bs. 0 out of 10.

This app appears to work pretty well for me.

This does not turn your phone into a thermometer, and 2 seconds into using it, a full screen ad pops up!

Don't waste your time.

It is a cool app when it is correct temperature. I have a old thermometer that is still working like a champ. The app was off by 10 degrees for a few hours even when refreshed, but other times it is spot on. I like the app but know it isn't perfect.

This app crashes A LOT and doesn't work even if you buy the premium package.

Will not update. When using “refresh”, temperatures never change within 24 hrs.

Don't even try.

Sad to say the App doesn't do what it advertises, does not access the internal temp sensor rather it uses location info to gather internet provided temps.

This does exactly what I want it to do, tell me the temperature in the room. My gym was freezing and it was great being able to walk in to Mangement and 'show' them the temperature in the building. Good complaining tool:))

Not going to complain about being off a degree. Decent enough for 4 stars.

All this app does is use your location to use the local temperature, and that is what shows up on the “screen”

Merely takes info available in real apps and repeats it, moreover it is a swindle. It updates and charges &1.05 without any indication of any charge. Do not download is my recommendation.

It is an easy to use app and loads in seconds

It's quicker than starting up Weather app and scrolling through all the ads to find the broadcasted temp. It doesn't measure temperature, it receives broadcasted data from local weather stations where you have location services turned on.

Pretty accurate. Phone cases can alter a little bit

This is great to have when you wonder how cold a room is!
