The best earthquake app on the App Store and my favorite. Back to 5 stars after a technical issue that was quickly resolved.

There are several free apps that are much easier to use. Wish I would not have paid for this app.

Especially for those of us here in SoCal. A must have.

Good notifications settings that work.

I have this set to 5 or nice earthquakes around the world, and it's astonishing how many there have been lately in the ring of the Pacific. Makes me get ready for the big one.

Earthquake need iOS 7 compatible update.

Glad to see updates still being for this app app. So first off this app is awesome. but it needs some improvements. For starters iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support would be great. As well as future support for IOS 9 and Metal when they are released.

This is the one earthquake app that I found to fully meet my needs. It is intuitive and easy to use.

Was the best app out there. Now it is 💩 that alerts don't work. Can anyone recommend a replacement app?

You'd be better off spending your money on crack.

Previous version opened in map instead of list and showed "chosen location" with blue pin, which I liked. This version defaults to open in list and chosen location pin is missing from map. I see no way to change this. The option to use your current location is nice, but when you shut current location off, it should default back to previous chosen location. Resetting chosen location can be a major pain. Overall, some good improvements, but some losses, as well.

Great app at what it does: notify what happened, where it happened, with what intensity and according to what agency.

It worked great for the first week. Then I stopped receiving notifications. Figured out that quiet time was enabled. So disabled it. But the app turns it back on. We have gotten 10 earthquakes in the last 2 days and it has not notified me about any of them !!!! Please fix PLEASE !

Horrible! Does not give notices of quakes. I've deleted and reinstalled and still won't work.

Would love it if I was actually notified when a quake strikes. Have tried changing the settings around and nothing. I want my money back.

I had no idea the Earth shook as much as it does. Every day, all day. I have mine set to list quakes higher than 5.0, and it's almost scary that there's a long list of those. I like the tsunami reports, the mapping, and seeing tweets from the affected areas. Real time is a plus. Faster than CNN.

Te only gripe I have is that the map doesn't scroll completely around, it has an "edge" and from there you have to back up to the other edge.

Overall, this is one of the better geology apps. The instant user data input (I.e. twitter, Facebook, etc.) gives you a very quick "on the ground" perspective of an event. Make sure to set your preferences, as there is a ton of data that pours in on a constant basis. It can be a little overwhelming if you don't set your location, magnitude settings, etc. however it's very easy to navigate through. All in all, great app for keeping up on the latest seismic activity worldwide and in your own community. Definitely recommend.

Needs a method of being able to summarize earthquakes for a specific locality, arranged by descending time (most recent first), slowing location, magnitude, and depth

Works quickly, is accurate. Have others and am always looking but none is better. Easy to use, provides all desires info quickly with no extraneous clutter. Notifications are just what is needed. One of the most used best apps I have.

Just bought it a few minutes ago. I am unable to find local earthquake information that ocurred an hour ago 4 miles from my current location. I want my money back.

This used to be the best app....now it's very bad

I've had this app for several years; it's one of my favorites. Living in California (on the San Andreas fault) I'm always aware of our earthquake potential so this app keeps me up to date. There have been dozens of earthquakes in the Solomon Islands the last 2 days, most 4.5 and over, up to 7.5. I don't know why this is not reported on the news. It seems significant to me.

I have used this APP for several years and find very informative. I have never had a problem with It and always receive alerts!

I downloaded this app some years ago (shortly after the US East Coast quake) and was notified pretty regularly about tremors world wide. However quite some time ago, (maybe a year or so) the app went silent. That is until today (Aug 30, 2016)!!! I am hoping these notices continue as it is interesting to see how active our planet is.

Great app

Not impressed. Too complicated

I've checked most of them out. You won't find one as good as this one. One improvement: add an option for for retaining earthquakes longer than one day and shorter than a week for those of us who can't check it every day.

Great app!

I like being able to see when earthquakes occur and often use the map view, which offers a bigger picture overall of seismic activity around the globe. When we have a quake, it is easy to check the preliminary magnitude. Very nice app!

Importante herramienta en Guatemala

With all of the fears of Fracking causing earthquakes, this app is very good for keeping you updated for up to date information on specific areas. Even Irving TX!
