Zulu Time App Reviews

Now I can convert time zones to Zulu time in a snap. It has a very nice and intuitive interface. The only thing I wish it had was another button at the bottom that showed you a US map with time zone divisions to show which time zone each state is in.

This app is extremely useful for me. However, what would improve its experience for me would be the addition of complications for the Apple Watch so that the offset time you set in the app can be displayed on the watch face. Other than that, it’s great!

For 99 cents the app is ok. Would be worth more and reviewed higher if it could be used as a complication rather than just an app and agree Zulu should be in 24 hour format. Developer mentioned this is difficult to do and keep clock accurate but I rarely need a real time count of the seconds. Make the complication by creating your own time digits, drop the seconds so update once a minute, and options for 12/24 format on local and/or Zulu

Does exactly what it should and does it well. One suggestion: changing the label color from orange to black on the widget would help. Hard to read the orange. A nitpick to be sure! Great app!

i can’t give it 5 stars because of a glitch- mountain time is displayed as the same as pacific time. this would only be accurate in arizona which doesn’t keep dst. otherwise a great app.

Is it not possible to make this into a face gallery on the Apple Watch?

This is almost perfect for what I need at work. The only request I would make for future releases is for the Zulu time to include the day of year.

Nice to have the accurate Zulu time with a tap on the iPhone screen. It would even be better if the actual icon displayed the time to save the extra step, particularly when you are strapped for cockpit resources. Apple can do it it with their calendar why cannot the app do the same.

Great ap! With great visibility, seconds display, and a simple interface, this is perfect for setting clocks (which is all I want to do with it!)

Been a professional military & airline pilot for 38 years. This app is great! With this it I don't need to wear a dual-time watch, I can wear a dress or casual watch and instantly access Zulu time for flight planning, destination weather forecasts, FIR estimates, whatever. I have it on my phone, my flying iPad, and my personal computer. Works good, lasts a long time, didn't cost much. 😎👍

Perfectly as advertised

This is a pretty solid app ..however I wish they had adopted the now defunct itimezone app method. It allowed scrolling directly through different time zones referencing GMT.

This app is "just right" for short wave listening.

Clean, simple UI - provides time in multiple zones in an inviting manner.

Easy and fast.

The app works as advertised and the display and graphics are excellent. When mirrored on an Apple Air Play (or other device) to a large screen TV it is very readable from across a large room. This app has a lot of versatility with it's display of Zulu time and the ability to choose U.S. time zones and world time zones to display simulteanously with Zulu time. Users are also able to display Zulu time forward and backward of current time. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this app if you need a useable and graphically driven method to track multiple time zones.

Use it for accurately logging UTC for ham radio contacts around the world.

This is just a really solid app that's still getting updated. As a pilot it's my go-to source for current time no matter where I may be.

This app is great, except it doesn’t have the one thing I needed and purchased it for: complications! See, Apple already lets you see UTC time and even includes it as a complication. But in order to see UTC or “Zulu” time in 24 hour time mode, you have to switch the entire clock to 24 hour mode. What I need to do is be able to see local time in 12 hour mode but Zulu time in 24 hour mode as a complication on the same watch face! It’s so frustrating that neither Apple includes a way to do this, and developers haven’t come up with UTC time app that has complications! And if they did, I would imagine they would inadvertently make it so that the 12/24 hour system setting dictates whether the complication displays in 12 hour or 24 hour mode, which would put me back at square one. Please make a complication for this app, and leave the time in 24 hour mode or make it an adjustable setting and not based on the system clock. Thank you!

Okay, so I wanted to leave a review but a "pre-filled" or "pre written" message was in place before I can type anything. BOO This is insulting. The app works and does as advertised. My problem is the pre-filled message before I could as if I couldn't write a review.

ZT is right there when needed, easy to read and not cluttered by unnecessary graphics or info I don't need. Thank you!

App widget quit working correctly in notification area. All time zones including Zulu show the same time. iOS 10.0.2

I find myself needing to reference different time zones and find this app very useful for doing so. At the 99 cent cost the app is well worth it.

For what it does it ok nothing special

This was a well worth $.99 spent! Better than wasting $.99 on Candy Crush! The clock set its self up based on my location, and I'm somewhere very unusual! Somehow, it gave me the exact settings that I needed! This clock rocks!

Does everything you need perfectly.

This is a great app! I need to see UTC (or multiple time zones if needed; local time in military time, hence Zulu) on my iPhone and iPad. Also, I like to view seconds elapsing in a digital format. Besides quick access via iOS Notification Center the developer has created compatibility with iPad's split screen option. Now you can view these time options while for example you are viewing web content: hyper-cool. The UI is perfect. How about a Nobel prize for app development? We have a winner!

Great app. I have a lot of clocks and they all have a different time so I use this App a lot to keep accurate time.
