The app takes a really long time to respond when saving a rule (e.g. turn on at a certain time)

This app is very clunky and slow, a real pain to use! I am very tech savvy, and a programmer myself. Junk software like this annoys me. While my outlets seem to work (just the first couple of days after the installation, fingers crossed), the app itself is ridiculous. Poor interface, simple operations such as saving and refreshing the rules/schedules take FOREVER, and may not even ever complete! That’s with the full WiFi signal. So, both the app UI and back-end implementations are crap. Shame. I have installed the app on the iPad that is mounted on the wall in my hallway and controls all my house devices. The app doesn’t switch to the portrait mode, it seems, so it’s always sideways on that iPad...

I have tons of smart plugs. None ever gave me an issue getting setup. I am two hours into these and nothing. Horrible system

Keeps crashing and slow. The Updates haven’t fixed the problems. Voice commands to Alexa work much better. Very disappointed.

I have some LED and neon art and being able to turn them on and off instead of plugging and unplugging is amazing to me

I expect higher quality from such a name brand. I bought cheap smart plugs off amazon that work better. Don't buy.

I don’t normally write reviews either but I’m not sure exactly what the person above is talking about with this app not working I recently bought The Wemo Wi-Fi smart plug and it seems to do a good job of turning on and off my Christmas Tree using not only in HomeKit but the wemo app itself after doing a firmware update and patients it works alright 👍🏻

I have had very few problems with the actual devices I’ve purchased Once set up and programmed they work consistently. The app is simply not very good. What app barely functions when you’re on a home WiFi connection? This one. I’ve had to shut off WiFi (which is very well configured I did it for a living) and use cellular to get the app to see the devices How freakin s***** is that? I keep hoping with each release that issue is addressed, but it’s not. Happy with the devices, the app is mediocre at best.

This app needs some work, not intuitive. Suggestion, segregate the “Devices” and the “Rules” and improve the app by doing the following. 1). Allow the user to create as many rules as they would like on the rules tab. 2). Remove any reference to the devices on the rules tab. 3). Allow me to schedule on/off times but provide a radio button that allows me to randomize the on/off times around the scheduled on/off times listed. Example if i set an on time of 7pm and select 15 minute randomize every day will be a different ON time between between 6:45 and 7:15. 4). Assign the rule or multiple rules to each individual device on the “Devices” tab....no assignment to devices on “Rules” tab.
