Scriptural Rosary App Reviews

Purchased this app about a month ago and I love it! I use it at night before bed, in the morning and pray along with the audio when I'm in my car. For some strange reason, however, the audio doesn't always work. Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not. Aside from that I still give it 5 stars. It helps me focus and pray the rosary more devoutly. I love the scripture readings and the prayers between the decades. Thanks for making this app!

Don't be cheap!!! This thing has a terrible voice! For a paid app it's not good. They have many things to fix. The app crashes, voice doesn't work and when it does it's terrible. Not a fan for $5.00. They need to work harder on this before charging

A human voice rather than a digital for the audible portion would make this app perfect!

Really enjoy the app & all the choices.

This app has so much to offer to those new and old to the Rosary. The art, the scripture, the prayers, and so much more are easy to navigate so you spend time actually meditating on the gospel of our Lord rather than figuring out the electronics. I love how you can start and stop. How you can use scripture or not and focus on the art to enhance the full meaning of each decade! Thank you!

I was misled by the 4.8 star reviews that I now feel might be questionable “authentic” reviews because I have an iPhone6 that is always updated timely with the latest IOS versions and I don’t get this problem from any of my other purchased apps. Even by switching between the play button or the top right control button, still no sound. The icon indicating sound by pulsing up and down (as though there is sound) when there isn’t! This shouldn’t even be touted as a free app - but to pay $4.99 for something worthless is a rip off.

I wish there was a choice of having a blue background. Maybe a dark blue. However, I love everything about this Rosary app, especially the Scriptures. I can now pray the Rosary with guidance wherever I am. It makes me happy. I have several of the apps offered by this developer, and I love them all. Thank you.

This is one of most favorite Catholic Apps. It really focuses me on the prayers of the Gospels. I can't make it a day without it. Artwork is wonderful.

Voice is brash & negatively distracting.

Praying the rosary with this aid keeps me focused on the real power of each decade. The fruit of the mystery is clearing the dedication of each decade also I also enjoy praying the prayers for the Pope and all priests, St Michael and guardian angel that are in the closing of the rosary. This works for me.

I lean on this app daily. While I love working the beads the app adds depth to my rosary practice through supporting scriptural quotes and additional prayers that I don’t have memorized. The app is well formatted, complete in features, and pleasing to the eye. The watch app is very good too — a great way to say the rosary in the sauna!

The audio feature on this app is terrible. It is very robotic. Pleasant human male and/or female voices would be beneficial. The robotic voice is a distraction.

This is a very good app for the rosary, but I agree with other reviewers that the default voice is horrible. If that was fixed it would definitely be a five star.

This is the best way I have found to pray the rosary. My prayer group meets once a month and we always use this rosary. Provides beautiful scriptures and fruit for each mystery with additional short prayers at the end of each decade. You will be pleased and enriched with this rosary.

I've been reciting the Rosary with this app ever since I bought it several years ago. The updates have all been great. Thanks for assisting me in my prayer life.

Other Rosary programs I've used give you a single scripture for each decade. This program offers a single scripture for each Hail Mary. I find I get more out of the scriptures this way.

I don't have much experience with Rosary apps, however, I've been using this one for a few months and like it quite a bit. I like the options for Bible translations and being able to choose or remove the Luminous Mysteries. I like the additional prayers but would like the option to forgo at times. I like the paintings and would like to have the option to view them with each decade with appropriate Mysteries depicted.

I enjoy praying the Rosary so much I now pray it every day. It brings me so much peace and it is the one time in my day that is quiet and peaceful. I also use it to pray the Rosary at my church and I show and advise people to get the app for their own use.

This is by far my favorite app for praying the rosary and is worth every penny and more! I love the opening and closing prayers and the pictures that help facilitate prayer and deeper meditation. What a great option for those of us that are dyslexic, even if I’m also using the audio. Along with the Scriptures, I am more able to concentrate on the mysteries of the rosary. Well done!

This is the best scriptural rosary out there BY FAR! A real blessing and joy.

The addition of scripture brings much more understanding to the Mysteries of the Rosary.

This app is wonderful reciting bible passages for each mystery but the diction is far from stellar for the other languages when not recited in English. In fact they’re recited as they’re recited in English. I hope this can change soon.

I love this app and its Apple Watch compatibility. It's very helpful to always have the rosary nearby. The app also saves where you left off so you can take your time or say the rosary throughout the day. Very grateful to the developer.

I love the fact that it’s an audio app. It only has the mysteries. A little disappointing since it cost $5. I think an improvement would be to add the Litany and the divine Mercy rosaries rosary also. I have not found an audio version of the Divine mercy and the Litany yet.

Perfect in everything

This app is awesome! I sometimes listed & recite along during my runs. I also find myself using the app while waiting for appointments, etc. it is awesome. My only issue is that the voice is a little weird, but it is still so wonderful. This app has helped me say the rosary more often and helped my children learn prayers!

Love this app. Easy to use and navigate through.

This app greatly enhances the mystical experience of the Rosary. Since the purpose of the decades is to meditate on the Mysteries, what better way than to refer back to scripture between each Hail Mary! I find it especially helpful on those occasions when I don't have time to finish it in one sitting. I can do one decade at a time between breaks at work. I also appreciate that I can record my voice or someone else's voice so I don't have to listen to the computer version.

Easy to stay focused!

This is an excellent way to pray the Rosary!! Yes, the default voice is really bizarre (I agree with one reviewer: "Go home, Siri! You're drunk!"), but I just don't listen to it. Great for newcomers to the Rosary or those who've been praying it for a while and need structure and/or a daily reminder to pray.

As a cradle Catholic, saying the rosary is something I know I should do more often. This app encourages use more frequently, making it easy to remember the right mystery for each day of the week. The beautiful pictures help focus the mind, and settle the heart with the words of the prayers. I have shown my students and parents at school the ease of this app, encouraging them to use it often. Well done and thank you.

I’ve tried a few rosary apps, and this by far is the best! There are many options to choose from, so that you can personalize it- Bible version, Latin if you wish, Scriptures for each decade or not, and more! The beautiful pictures for each Mystery are a wonderful aid for meditative prayer. The only negative is, as some reviewers have pointed out, the default recorded voice. Yuck. Double yuck. HOWEVER, you can record over it! You can record yourself reciting it, or perhaps record a family or prayer group rosary; you could have music playing in the background, you could choose your own Scripture to read, and so forth. It’s straightforward and easy to figure out, and you will then have it for future prayer times. (The app uses the microphone in your device.) If there were no option for the awful recorded voice, I would have rated this way less. But because it can be recorded over, I give it five stars.
