How does this even work? Centered the code, in focus... pressed the red button... nothing. No response or feedback of any kind. Is this even a scanner, or just some guy selling a fake graphic and hoping Apple doesn’t catch on? I consider my $2 stolen...

Nothing fancy, just a good scanner that you can use anywhere.

The app didn’t work and now won’t delete. Horrible!

I had this for a couple months now and I use it every night without any problems.

Our business uses QR Codes extensively. We have thousands of customers who read our codes. 100% of the time, when a customer says our codes don't work, we get them to test first with this app and it always works and makes a happy customer. We now include links to this app in all of our products we ship.

I used the app to register my car for parking. The QR code brought up what looked like a standard webpage where I registered my car. Only, the webpage was brought up in something internal to the app, not the default browser for the app (Safari), so the registration did not go through even though it appeared to be fine on the browser page that I saw. Since the webpage wasn’t in Safari, I had no record of the transaction or even that I visited that parking registration site. My car was booted and I had to pay $75. When I examined the scan history to show that I had tried to register the car at the proper time, the time stamp on the scan was off by 4hours from the local time. It was apparently given in GMT time, so having the wrong time stamp did not convince anyone that I tried to register my car properly at the correct time.

This app saves me so Much time & Money while shopping, plus I can Scan QR codes from my PC, which is a great feature. I’ve never had it fail me! Great app.

Love the app and aesthetic, would love to have qr generator back.

Tried it on a product—just opens up Google search for it. Not the type of barcode scanner I was looking for.

I paid $1.99 to get the app so I could scan the barcode, and then it won’t scan. It tells me at the website that it may be that my camera is not high enough resolution, but my iPhone has an excellent camera and when I look at it the barcode through the screen, it’s completely fuzzy! It is crystal clear when looking through my camera, though. Your app cannot see clearly. I want my money back, or at least tell me how to fix the s***** thing! :(

Works OK on QR codes, but will not read 1D barcodes as advertised! Amazon’s price scanner is free and works! This is a rip off product and they should be removed from the App Store! There terrible web site gives no support!

Anything you scan will simply give you a error message. Too bad was once great I'm going to delete after this review

This app strives to be the best with the utmost premium experience. If you have an issue, I see that they're easy to email and responsive to customer input. I think the scan.me feature is really amazing, and the Wi-Fi QR codes are really innovative and smart.

They're trying to sell shark tank their app which must be the 50,000th QR app in the App Store. Also he's managed to raise 8M so far with this s***** code scanner, lol! He wants 1MM at a 20MM valuation! 😂 Indie developers have made apps just as good with no budget! Hahahahahahhaahhahahahaa.😂😂😂 Also, he thought he'd impress them with his Google Glass!! LOL!

The barcodes always bring up searching "V" never the product

But I'd love to be able to create bar codes & QR codes as well.

How do I get a refund? Already deleted the app.

App scan bar code and then says server can't be found. That makes the app useless

I have tried to use this app to read magazine barcodes. It reads the code and passes it to Google. Google does a search which often gets the title but always fails to identify the issue.

Says server cannot be reached. Selling this app to new people would be fraud.

No way of getting in contact with developer. Support brings you to a FAQ page on their website and I can't find them on twitter. When scanning a barcode on a product, it forwards you to a website. I assume by the structure of the URL it searches the product within that database. However, the domain is inactive (shp.li). Truthfully I just want my money back! Can't believe Apple allows a developer to charge for a application that is rendered useless especially when you can not contact the developer for support!

So pleased to be able to scan information directly into my phone; no note-taking, no-photo taking. Super quick and simple; very good for business and pleaure.

Half the time the app can't even recognize the barcode.. when it does it says "server is not available" There are other free scanner apps that work so much better than this one!!!

I downloaded the app for free and then 4 days later it randomly charged me $2.00, like what the c*** app??

Scanner used to work. When I went to use it a month later all it does now is redirect you to a website: SHP.Li. What gives? I also note now comment reviews are not recent and are old. If you're searching for a scanner comparison app, don't waste your money on this one!!!

Plain and simple yet powerful

I was s***** to buy it. QR reader was working just fine. It offered me to upgrade it to this app, and I did so. Big mistake! It doesn’t recognize QRs. QR reader with the same QRs works fine. Want my money back!

Stopped working and they stopped updating it long ago. On iPhone 6s Plus the camera doesn't focus, which means no focus no scan. Even if you scan from photos the links no longer open and instead you're presented with an error message that the site can't be reached. Used to be great but now it's garbage 🚮

It seems the developers slowly cut back on functions and options and may have abandoned the app altogether. Doesn't scan UPC even though it claims to.

Best bar code scanner. Easy to use and fast loading of results.

iOS, Windows, and Android. My favorite QR code scanning app for nearly a decade.

It worked just fine when my default browser was Safari. Changed it out now it won't work!

Starting a couple of months ago, the app is incapable of scanning barcodes I don't know if it still works with QR codes but barcodes are not working.

No fluf, gets you linked cleanly to the info. Simple is brilliant!!

It does what it supposed to do for me, but nothing is perfect.

Downloaded this app a couple of years ago, and haven't had a need to look for anything better, works almost every time, except on a few obscure codes.

Good Works For Me!

Only allowed to make 2 bar codes. I wanted to make it for stations. Now need to purchase more. Please state limit.
