Can’t get it to work on simple site with flash.

I do video chatting through an online website that requires flash for work which is why I bought this app, however it says the website is blocked. (No it’s not an “inappropriate” site) so I’m kinda annoyed. If you’re buying it for a specific purpose you might lose your $5 so just be prepared to be disappointed

V. 6.14. No updates for over a year and now Photon has stopped working and will not play video. Suggest one doesn’t download until this gets fixed.

I purchased this app in order to access online course materials through cengage. I keep receiving a message that says “this website is blocked”. Waste of money, do not bother purchasing for access to online course materials.

Not all Flash game websites work. They also give an error telling us that the website is not supported when you enable flash. I hope I get a refund.

I just bought this browser thinking if it costs $5 it must be more up to date then Puffin, within the first 30 seconds of using the browser I noticed it’s complete trash, has a late response time. If the company paid me to use this browser, I would still delete the app. Puffin is way better and would pay for that over this.

Excellent browser for flash videos.

Crashes frequently. Only bookmarked and address bar-listed sites work in Search for the last two weeks. Will be looking for another browser.

This app worked for a while then stopped working. I can’t get any live stream. Even the simplest websites won’t load. I contacted app “support” several times and no one ever responded. I think they left town. Do not waste your money.

Never had a problem with this app. Always plays great quality.

It allows me to watch Training videos that are presented in flash on my company website using my iPad. No it is not perfect, but it does allow me to get credit for those annoying TOD videos they require me to take even on my iPhone if needed. For that reason alone, it is worth 4 stars.

I need a flash player for my IPad to take some OSHA classes, and the website I use for work said this was an unsecured connection and wouldn’t give me access.

I tried to use the site which directed to a support page. The message states the site is no longer available.

Paid for this browser after reading how it supports flash and was excited to be able to play Facebook games on my iPad finally! Unfortunately I am still not able to with this browser and sorry I wasted my money

I was having trouble viewing an online course I am enrolled in on my iPad and I remembered using photon browser when it first came out. After downloading and updating the version I had I have had no issues with viewing my course. This app has been a life saver for me.

Not working. Every search no matter what it is comes back sorry this site is no longer available

Bought this to be able to use the flash player and it just tells me the website is denied. Waste of my money, had to go another route.

When I first discovered Photon a few years ago, it was a GREAT app for playing games on the iPad. However, the last couple of weeks it has been lagging in performance. Not being able to play some of your favorite games and share with others has been disappointing. It was great while it lasted, but now I’m trying to find another app to take its place😩😩😩😩😩😩

Couldn’t watch the training videos that my job provided but with Photon watching them was a snap. Great product for iPads especially if your ipad is your laptop.

Disappointed, I used it to access work website that requires flash. The browsers is very slow, and doesn’t maintain the web page if I have to switch between programs causing me to have to log back in to the web page each time I go back to this browser. Needs to be better.

A lot of websites are still using flash and this app has been really really great to us when needing to get on a website built with flash.

Love my iPad, needed Flash to complete school work and didn’t want to have to switch to a PC laptop. Downloaded Photon and it work perfectly the first time. Well worth the $5, and no issues yet. Very pleased :)

I used to have an iPad 2 with Photon on it & was able to play the one & only game I like on Facebook with it. I recently bought a 2018 iPad with the latest iOS and loaded Photon it. It will NOT load my game. I tried both on Facebook & on the game developer’s website. You would think the most recent update of the app on a brand new device with the latest iOS would work. Eagerly awaiting an update to Photon to see if that will work with the game I enjoy.

Bought this so I could use my totale Rosetta subscription like pc version (the games and live coaches etc) and its not a site that this browser can access. Dang it.

Photon was an excellent browser for using Flash on the iPad. However, two days ago the Flash failed to connect and has not connected since. The inability to connect to Flash defeats the purpose of using Photon. Hopefully, this will be fixed.

Every time I try to save a picture it crashes.

I have done everything you have instructed and then some. The flash player still won’t detect my camera or my microphone. I want a refund. I have no plans on ever using this again.

I bought this app, but it doesn't connect to remote server for simple browsing, i live in Iran and i think it is because of sanctions because when i run vpn and use other countries ip, it is able to be connected. My question is why i can run another apps such as apple’s apps without vpn, And basically why i can bought this app from app store?. Simply this is because of ur wrong realization of sanctions rules, so be honest and remove restrictions for iran, or give back my money please

I have a new apple I Pad ,wanted to play pogo games as my pad doesn’t have flash player .After paying went to site to download pogo app.Popped up IPad does not support this on my device. Well I tried several more times to no avail. I would like my refund back: I’d to play games as if on my computer , as I can see will never be able to do that.It’s bad enough to pay outrageous prices for I pads ,then can’t play games you like to play,only games what apple chooses is all you get/ or what they support:I’m not into fighting; motorcycle , war games etc..I like fun light games ex: cards,bingo,poker,relaxing games like on pogo, fish etc. Apple should allow games from sites they have in apple store , should not be limited of what we can play. Anyone who puts adds on tablets,notebooks,IPads, IPhones etc should hold up to their adds. I bought this so I could see some flash related stuff for school and so far I’ve used it once and it works. If it messes up I’ll update for sure.

I just bought it and tried and nothing worked. This is a scam do not buy the app.

I bought this app since it was first introduced for iPhone. Saved me to get my gaming on the go, as well when required to fill out forms and not home to get to pc. When I bought my iPad was first app to purchase for it. Yes, it doesn't look like much yet go to settings and you have so many options like:server, bandwidth, text size, time zone, privacy, etc., it's a pc on the go.

Flash works but doesn’t support streaming video

Don't like my music stopping when i open this app. (Done blame Spotify, its photon that does it) Don't like the photon audio stopping when i minimise this photon. Unusable.

I love this app! I use it all the time! It even helped me with one of my classes! It’s great! You have to pay for it but it's definitely worth it!

This app doesn't work, is really slow, always crushes, and never blocks the pop ups. Don't waste your money!!!!!!

I have had no luck with the flash

Works as advertised. I use this to log into Forge of Empires, and works great. I will try it on other sites as needed.

Bought specifically for use with WorldMark Vacation website. Doesn’t work AT ALL! Disgusted and $5 poorer.

This is a great browser for all the web pages that don’t usually work on iPad.

I just purchased & it won’t even load my page. I clicked the lightning bolt but still nothing. I want a refund, but I’m gonna nailed to request it says no access to page.

I've used this app for the last 3yrs in order to play my games on my iPad, thank goodness 😅 or I would of felt cheated by buying an iPad.

Can't believe this app hasn't been shut down as a scam. Bought so I could play forge of empires but it won't get past the login screen. Completely worthless. Save your $5. Apple should be ashamed for having this available in the App Store

It's saying unable to connect to flash server. I changed port, no good. Other flash apps are working. I deleted app and reinstalled, no good. This was my go to flash app

I just paid for an app that doesn't work any better than the free Puffin!! I have tried everything and pushing the "Lightning Bolt" doesn't help...in fact it just makes the browser go back to a mobile type of browser on my iPad!! I downloaded this browser so I could play my MMOG game, apparently it isn't the browser it claims to be to allow flash to work either, so I just flushed $4.99 down the toilet! Very unhappy here. 😡

I was concerned about paying for this app, since the most recent reviews are old. But as stated this app is essential for an iPad. I do not own a desk top, as I have no need. However, there are some websites that still require Flash, this app bridges the gap.

This app constantly crashes. Not worth the $5!!!

If you need a flash content capable browser, look no further. This is a great one. Smooth and easy to use. Loads of other features too. Has problems with connecting to sites like Mega. Tries to route through the app store constantly and fails to connect properly.

I have used Photon privacy browser for many years and have always been more than satisfied with its abilities and performance. I highly recommend it to anyone that requires a private browsing experience.

Great App

As a browser it's ok, but for running flash apps I have found it satisfactory. Annoying that some programs try to shunt you to the Apple Store if you are navigating to a site that has an app.

Photon is the best and marvelous application you can use it in middle east and browse websites That are blocked. Flash player is working smoothly.

I’ve tried this and placing it into Flash is utter c*** because it’s like watching a snail crossing a room, and at times it just seems get so far and they stall. Total waste of money and I am reporting their bogus claims to Apple

Love it! I was able to complete my training for work all because of this App. I keep getting different error messages on Chrome such as API not detected and missing PDF plugins. I opened Photon and was able to start my training in no time without error messages. Yaaay!!

If you want to spend all day dealing with the glitchy poor operation of the websites your trying to use this will be ok. Me personally I’d rather carry around my huge computer then try to keep using this for flash.

I bought this to watch the live feeds of Big Brother on CBS. The only criticism I have is that I cannot figure out how to scroll down on the menus for the flashbacks. Whenever I try, it scrolls the entire screen instead of just the flashbacks, so I cannot scroll through and see them all.

I used Puffin for conducting business with my iPad and it did an OK job. Just downloaded this app and it is by far superior to Puffin.

I acquired an iPad not knowing much about iOS, but it came as a packaged deal with my phone and I needed something for school. When I realized my school utilized flash and iOS didn’t support it, I was quite distraught until I read about Photon Browser. It has saved me time, money and headaches! I only wish now that I could copy text in flash mode, but I can live without that functionality for now...😏

Because at least then it would have been of use to someone. I literally cannot get this app to work even once without crashing. Remember that app that was like $50,000 to push a button? Buy that app before this one. Seriously.

I was able to use this in the past to get onto sites for work and that required flash for videos... well now have Citrix server access and tired to use so could do a drivers ed course with aarp. Wont allow me to use... think the last update some time ago. Wish they would come up with a fix so could access sites again.

This has proven useless for me and I would like a refund. I got my iPad Pro for school but needed flash for my math class, and while this browser DOES use flash, it will not allow me to access my keyboard so I STILL can’t do my homework. Please help or refund???

iOS doesn’t allow for flash games on iPad. What a drag. Photon is a way to bridge that gap...kind of. I am able to play a lot of the 16-bit games, but they are choppy at best, regardless of what settings I use and sometimes, you can’t even play the game. Just “touching” something on the screen doesn’t always make it move; it depends on the game. You can also use Photon in regular mode and it’s a fine browser. I might come back and give it a higher rating if the choppiness disappears and the “touch” issues improve because again, at least it’s something.

Very cool app. Allows you to connect to a site with a fully features browser which is sometimes needed. Very simple to use and very responsive. Thank you!

Works great

Tried to access Wix.com and they actually block the site. When I was finally able to get it, the site was actually able to see it as a mobile iPad. DOn’t bother with this.

Doesn't work on all Facebook games and crashes often

Developers want to SELL new app, not SERVICE existing ones. Have not updated app since 2017!!!!!! A lot of IOS have been release since, yet NO updates on this app.

With this it was well worth what I paid for it and I'm glad I found it. I tried to google a flash player for iPad with no luck so I kept looking on iTunes and found this and IT WORKS GREAT. LOVE IT 10/10 from me

I, too, just flushed $4.99 down the drain. I downloaded this app to get around flashpayer websites for bills and the lightning bolt didn’t work for me either. Wish I could find out how to get refunded!

Like the title says good app but I bought it once and it didn’t let me redownload it with my other iPads. So I bought it twice. If i could get a refund I will give it 5 stars.

It’s easy to transition between modes and there aren’t too many speed issues. Some issues resizing windows sometimes but otherwise good.
