I'm very disappointed this doesn't work with iOS6. Please provide an updated version.

This application was great until I upgraded to the IOS 6 and now it freezes. The owners have to twit this application to make it compatible with the IOS 6 and this needs to be done very soon.

Great app, though I wish it was a but more selective about when it started recording. For instance, only on launch or when returning from the background, but not when waking from sleep.

This is a great quality app that I use in the classroom to record music students and then instantly play back for them to hear on my Bluetooth sound system. Sound quality is great and my students have learned to recognize the good vs. the bad. Has made this aspect of teaching much easier and faster. Thank you Wim for this product.

Great app and works out of the app. Great audio and just a tip, if you don't want it to start when you open the app, then go to settings and turn off record automatically. Worth it💰💰

This app locks up and will not work with the IOS6 update. Please fix. I like your app.

Needed to do a last minute voice recording for a project my daughter had at school. Time from download of the app to delivery of the project to her teacher was about 15 minutes - just that easy to use! Good connectivity to Dropbox and email made delivering the project a snap! Good stuff.

The main reason I bought this app was because it claimed to be able to continue recording when you open other apps (in my case it was a slate app to sync audio with video) and it did exactly the opposite. Also, as previous people mentioned it had a lot of problems saving things. I don't know if it's just a bug, but for my purposes, this app was a complete waste of money.

Overall, good app, but here are a few critiques and requests: After I am finished reviewing a recording, it goes back to my list of recordings and does not highlight which one I just played, so it's always difficult to know which one to review next, esp if I have not labeled a recording yet. Also, how do you trim recordings? I agree that the "save" button could be a little larger and easier to hit.

This used to be a great app until I installed the iOS 7 update. Now it just closes whenever I open it. Please fix this!!!!

The most recent update of Instant Audio Recorder is NOT working with my iPhone. I used it consistently in the past and it worked like wonderfully, but 4.0 has a bug that seems like it is recording but then loses the audio recording after you stop and save. The iPad version works just fine, but the iPhone version has a bug. I do hope they fix it soon.

I am having the same problem LouisR is having on my iPhone. After last 2 releases it looks like I have captured a 15 to 20 minute recording at my rehearsal! Then when i get home and try to play it I discover the file fragment has lost everything. The old versions worked flawlessly. I set my program to not start recording until i command it to record. Great recording app. Used to be great to recording and thru a bit of maneuvering in I Tunes you could download recordings. Now with contacting the company and newer iTunes versions I can't figure out how to get large files off of my phone let alone the company to respond to my questions multiple times about how to do it. If I pay for your product you should offer support hence my star review! Contact me please! Check your email AGAIN. They are in the Netherlands so it's no wonder things take forever. Also I have had recordings just "quit" after a meeting and not know why but others record longer even though I have the space. What is going on here?!

This app could not record any other apps. Do not buy. All it could do is record my voice and when i tried to record a geometry dash gameplay. It stopped recording. I paid 3 dollars for this app. Another rip off.

Works great!

This app is made to instantly 1Touch open and start recording audio with no other intervention or hunting for tiny record buttons . It can play back the audio back with its built in player. Its kinda like a 1 touch solution when your under stress or in a hurry. You can mail the recording and open it on another device or computer or you can open or copy to whatever other app you have on the same device. If your going to be opening and listening to the recording over and over again common sense would tell you to send it to another app that does not create a new recording every time you open it... This app is meant to start recording the second you tap on the icon on the home screen. Its simple and fool proof. I can't help but to thank the gentleman who called the app a SCAM because it does not record the audio from his game app being played on the same device this app resides on. lolololololololololololololololololololololololol Thanks for the laugh xD

it'd be great if you could still sell the ios6 version. i bought this and can't install it on my 4th gen...

App works great!! Getting data 'out' and/ or docs on where data is stored would be of great!!! Assistance! How-to pull data via itunes, touchcopy, or export to dropbox is strongly recommended/ desired. Thank you!

It was great after the update! Thanks a lot! I love it! It is so helpful for my homework. One thing though, I can't use the keyboard to rename a file. Is that anyone else's problem?

As a musician on the go, I need to be able to record ideas on the spot. This app is perfect for me. It's got Dropbox integration; the ability to record from startup; file sizes; the ability to change the recording quality; and a sleek, user friendly interface. I only have three proposed improvements for this app: 1. A folder system, so I can organize my recordings in the app. 2. After finishing a recording, I'd like a text box to pop up so I can name the recording on the spot. Instead of having to go to the recording fragment and naming it from there. 3. When naming a recording, I'd prefer each word to start capitalized by default. This is a great app, keep up the good work!

Have used this app for two minutes. Has not screwed up yet, so far as I can tell. Bought pro to avoid ads. Hoping that posting this review will stop annoying pop-up. Really, if you want good reviews, you should not annoy customers with pop-ups!

Instant audio recorder. I keep getting charged again and again for this upgrade, no matter how many times I have deleted this app I keep getting charged for the upgrade everytime my applestore tries to auto update any of my apps, so now my app store is bugged. Please fix and refund these incorrect, even fraudulent charges.

Please add a cutting tool to edit file length and size works great for me

No way to offload or send files bigger than what email can handle. Worthless if you need the recording on anything other than an IPad. I want money back, not to mention my time.

this app is the best voice recorder app I have used and I have tried quite a few. only slight criticism would be a little more defined save button. maybe red with bold letters with edging around it or something in that order.

I would give you a good review if it uploaded like it is supposed to. I recorded a song that went good played it back everything was great.... But when I went to uploaded it keeps going to 90% and goes back to my home screen it will not let me upload this is a negative report for now but it will be positive if he fix this glitch and let us know when it's fixed!

I like this app and I like that the developer Wim is quick to respond to any issues. Only app I could find where I am playing live stream and recording at the same time on the same phone

I like the sound quality of this application. Too bad that you cannot expletives what you record to any place where you can share it with someone else besides email or Twitter. This makes it a very limited application for cases like my own being a professional musician. I recorded a song at one of my band rehearsals and unfortunately I was unable to share that recording with any band members. This was because I cannot send the file to anyone's email because it is over 20 MB This application would be very useful if one could actually find where the audio file is recorded inside the iPhone and be able to extracted from there and perhaps burn it to a CD or at least put it in a USB pen drive.

Good for students.

It drains my battery on my iphone 5 at about 1% per minute! My iPad mini retina also gets really warm when it's recording - even in the background. This does not happen in any of my other apps unless they are games with intense graphics.

As a tool for a songwriter, this app is perfect. One button and get that idea down before it evaporates. Super.

This was a great app until I upgraded to iOS 7. Now it crashes on opening and I can't get to the files I need for my quartets next rehearsal.

This app was exactly what I had been looking for until I upgraded to iOS 6 today. Hopefully there will be an upgrade soon that will make it function as well as it did before. Barely functional at the moment!

I have been using this app to record and loop ideas and affirmations and have recommended this app to many friends. Recently, the loop feature stopped working. I emailed the support team and had a response within minutes. A temporary solution was offered as an interim measure until the update which came out 4 days later. I honestly did not expect such a quick response and personable assistance. Well done Instant Rec! I cannot recommend you highly enough!

I needed an app that would let me capture audio through the mic port on my iPhone, because I wanted to record audio from an FM radio. I was able to rig up a connection from the handheld radio to my iPhone using an old cable I got with a Sony camcorder that had three connections at the end with the 1/8" jack. It was originally for video, plus stereo audio. Anyway, using this, plus a little attenuator adapter to bring the level from line level to mic level worked great. And Instant Recorder had the ability to record audio from that port, which I haven't found in any other app. So kudos to the devs. Thanks for a simple app that does exactly what I need!

Love this app for on-the-go audio recordings. Just tap to start and stop recording. Very easy to rename files. Logically designed.

I paid for it but why do I have to write preview ? Your pop up review request always there when I try to close apps. That is not right. It is your ad. MUST STOP!!

One of my students with dyslexia needs his tests read to him. I record each question on this great app, and on test day, I email it to him. While the rest of the class reads their tests, he uses earphones on his laptop to listen to me asking each question as he reads along on the hard copy and writes his answers on it. After the test, I delete the recording from his computer and email files. It's a godsend!

Need updated instruction on moving recordings to computer via itunes using most current version of ios and itunes for Windows. Two requests for help to developer yielded no response.
