Was not informed before downloading. I'm giving MYSELF a 1 star rating because I was too hopeful to connect the dots beforehand to realize this model iPad doesn't even have a camera flash!

Comes in handy often.

Somehow I can hardly ever find a flashlight when I need one but my phone is always within reach and charged! I have used this handy little flashlight for hundreds of little things since I got it, from finding something small I dropped to taking the puppy for a walk😊

I have 7 apps for flashlights. This is my favorite! Really, I need to get rid of the other 6 because this is the only one I use. The light is easy on the eyes, yet you can see what is around with ease. Very nice!!!

It’s a “can’t live without”! You’ll use it for almost all of your needs formerly taken care of by bulky, battery-eating old-fashioned flashlights.

I have been using this flashlight through one generation of iPhone after another. The only one I’ve found that is a no frills, dimmable torch. Simple... the best from day one.

I take my dogs out in the dark a lot. I don’t always take a flashlight but always take my phone. This is very handy and very useful! Thanks for updating...

I accidentally bought this app when looking for a flashlight app on my iPad. It does say it is iOS compatible but it doesn’t work. All it does is turn my screen brightness on and off. I tried to get a refund as it wasn’t what I was looking for and it was misleading, but the App Store says that this app is not eligible for refund.

Easy to use. Variable intensity. No bells, no whistles, just solid functionality. Wish more apps were like this one.

After I paid the fee to purchase the app and downloaded the application I got an error message saying it couldn’t use the LED due to a hardware problem. I hope I can get my money back for this app.

Simple, no ads, worth the price!

My last review for this app was 6 years ago... A lot has changed in the world of iPhone, but this app is still worth a purchase. It’s easier and faster to launch than the built in control center option, and you can easily toggle off/low/high to save battery life while you’re using it. Unlike so many other flashlight apps, this one is ad-free, and is not cluttered with useless features. Highly recommended!

Plainly says “works on this iPad” in the information section under Compatibility. Once paid for, downloaded and installed, the app says, “Not compatible with this hardware. I have the latest iPad Pro. Ripoff.

Was updated. It’s easier to use than the one that is on my iPhone, which is hard to summon quickly.

This is not the flashlight I accidentally deleted, but I love this one! The ability to go from dim to bright is fabulous! I frequently get the flash light out to move through the house, when I get home at 3 in the morning. This works fabulously as to not wake my husband...big plus on that one! Thank you for a great Flashlight App!

I’ve had this since 2013, and will not use another! So simple, use the slider switch to gradually vary the light output-no preset brightness levels, no other BS, just a really good flashlight. So simple, it’s elegant. But alas, I can no longer use it after the iOS 11 update from 32 bit to 64 bit... Please, please PLEASE update this app to 64 bit for iOS 11! I miss it! I would pay for it again, just to get it back!

Needs updated cannot use

I needed my flashlight yesterday and when I tried to use it, I read that it needed to be updated. I tapped on “ok”, yet nothing happened. When can I expect its return as a valuable app?

Just updated to iOS 11, and am now unable to use this app because the developer hasn’t updated it. What’s up with that? When it worked, it was a great app that I used when coming home late or if the power went out.

Absolutely Love it! Easy to use with simple on/off switch. Extremely bright. Needs update to operate on IOS 11! Been receiving this message for a few weeks.

I got this app hoping to be able to be able to use a flash light on an iPad but, I was wrong to waste my time trying to use this app. On top of the whole screen turning white and shedding no light, it would always crash and mess up my iPad. Every time I used this app I would have to reset my iPad. It was terrible and I was very disappointed in this app. It was by far the worst app I have ever downloaded‼️!!!

Dear Sir, I am sure I am not the only one that wants you to update your software I am more than happy to pay a dollar towards this objective, even though I have already purchased it. Thank you Snoopy

Once my update was complete the app says the developer hasn’t updated it and it won’t work with iOS 11. Very disappointed. I only found out when I needed it most, in the pitch dark. Nice. 😣

Super application but the widget is something that missing

I installed this flashlight app. Opened it and a message came on after I paid for it that said it does not work with the current version of any future versions and that the developer needs to update it.

When I turn it on the adjusting light part doesn't work. And it just turns on bright. Needs a quick fix then I'll give it 5 stars.

It used to be great but must be updated to work with iOS 11 on Apple. Are the developers working on this?

I have used and enjoyed this simple flashlight app. My phone keeps telling me it won't work with new iOS update coming soon. I beg the designer to please update this app. Not sure why all the newer apps take so much space in the system. I will not delete this app till it quits working. DESIGNER DO YOU HEAR US??

This app is identical to several free apps for the IPAD. I should have read the fine print. Do not purchase if you have an IPAD.

When are you going to update this app? It’s not rocket surgery.

This does NOT work for iPad. Not a flashlight; just a picture of one across the screen that does not direct the light. Waste of money.

Well I did like this app but it hasn’t been updated in 4 years and doesn’t work with the 11 software update... it was a paid app and now it must be deleted...

Flashlight needs to be updated to work with the new upgrade 11.

This app hasn’t been updated to work with the newer iOS that iPhones are running.

Please update to compatibility with the latest iPhone operating systems. I miss my flashlight especially when traveling. The app was a five star until the latest iOS updates now it is a zero star. I look forward to being able to use this app again.

It was perfect until they came out with the operating system version 11 for the iPhone from there on it wouldn’t work anymore

Very handy and convenient, you always have your cell phone close by. You don’t have to search for a flashlight

I love this app because I never have to go looking for a flashlight. I admit I’m one of those people who always have their phone with them. But that also means I always have a flashlight handy. I use it to find the right remote during my late night TV marathons, light the path to the car during early morning starts and just about any other reason a person could want a flashlight. I always know where it is and it never needs batteries. The light is very bright and covers a large area. Extremely useful app.

Do not buy, they are no longer around and the app is defunct.

Cannot use due to the needed update!

On my screen the flashlight is barely brighter than the normal screen setting. I need more light than that!
