Use it to determine where I park my RV to ensure nothing blocks signals.

Used my iPhone 8+ running iOS 11.4 and worked perfectly. Other apps had the satellites way off. Couldn’t ask for a better app for pointing to dish network.

As a Dish service tech I use this app EVERY day and has been dead on every time! It is so much easier than most apps I have used and much easier than using a inclinometer! But as a tech it is not a replacement for the inclinometer when you are trying to get a signal through a small hole. I recommend this app to every customer that has an RV or moves their Dish. The only thing I would change is make recalibrate button, rather than randomly recalibrating. If that's the only thing I can find to change then I think this is a GREAT app!!!

Just upgraded to 6s and OS9. Satellites no longer show up. I'll add to the other complaints and hope the developer eventually notices.

Works great!

I found the three round red balls right off! The HD sat (129) was partially blocked by a tree branch. Good info. The balls do move position some depending on how you hold your phone but this app still gives me good positioning for my Tailgator.

Rip-off

I read the reviews and seemed like this app has gotten better more recently. I rolled the dice, spent the $10 and gave it a try. I was camping in a state park with lots of trees. I used the app and found a “window “ between the trees to aim my Dish Tailgater. It worked!!!! I’m using the app on an iPhone 7 Plus. Great product and easy to use.

I’ve had this app for a few years always worked great, then it stopped emailed Micheal he had a few ideas on how to fix it but it didn’t work....... then it dawned on me I put a new case on my phone that has a magnet on it..... compasses and magnets don’t work well together, removed case and boom dependable as always.

Bought it in hopes of getting a general direction of satellites and make sure trees were not in line of site. Well trees were ok but when I started aiming the dish where sats should be at least according to another web site, no signal any where. Went by what the receiver said and that azimuth was in western sky so no way that would work. So had to wind up calling dish to get pointed. Come to find out sats we're not where app said or where receiver said after putting in zip and using sat #110 or 118. Bottom line, the dish RV app is no where near accurate. I guess about 30 degs off. No I would not recommend. Also using the tool on the setup may be accurate depending on where you are.
