Was very satisfied, I have used this alarm clock as my primary alarm clock for many years until the latest update. Now I keep getting image retention on my iPad - I have to turn it off for several hours in order to make the image of the clock numbers go away.

I needed an app that let me set multiple alarms. This one not only does that with ease, but it lets me label each one so I know immediately what it’s for, and I can assign alarm sounds or music of my choosing. There is also a snooze feature for each alarm.

In the past week, this app has become unreliable. I cannot count on the alarm to sound when it is set to wake me up. The alarm appears to be going off, but is muted. The sound is up on my iPad, but the app is silent. I’ve needed to resort to setting a backup alarm, which makes this app pointless. Unless this app promptly ceases to be a liability, I will choose a new alarm clock app from another developer.

Great application

After waking up late for work a few times last year, I had stopped using this as my alarm. I then saw that they said they fixed the bug, so I decided to try it along with my current alarm. Worked fine for 10 days, and then this morning, I see the alarm on my phone with the red stop button, but no sound again. Don’t use this app if you actually need to wake up on time. This is on an iphone 6, using iOS 12.1.3, and app version 4.0.23.

Multiple alarms times is a good feature, now it keeps saying alarm will not alarm, device is muted... when my device is not muted. Sorry I had to delete the program, I need it to alarm consistently.

Only fault is the icons need to be brighter. It’s hard for Aging eyes to see them. Thanks for otherwise a great app.

No real issues, but it has done some funky stuff twice, but since the last update it has done well!

Have used this app for my daily alarm clock for YEARS. I always leave my ringer off so I don’t hear miscellaneous notifications during the day or night. As of Monday this week, the app stopped waking me up. Now the ringer apparently needs to be on for the sound to work? What changed? What happened? Why is this suddenly change? I’m puzzled since this problem does not seem to coincide with any software update.

I have depended on this app for years and it has never failed me. This app has everything. I like the dimmer slide, the sleep timer that lets you go to sleep to music, the alarm that gradually wakes you up with the fading in of music, and your choice of colors for the face. The flashlight is bright and very handy.

Love being able to select my own music to wake up to! It tells me the weather for the day and even my battery percentage, so I can keep track of that. Super app!

I’ve had this app for about two years. It has NEVER failed me. Even when I’m on vacation and forget to turn it off lol. The color options and brightness levels are easy to use. Love it, and the fact I can play any song off of my iTunes account even better!

Loved this app. Updated and while it has always played even with the mute switch on, it did not this morning. Sadness. 100% charged, plugged in. Please either fix this again or add a setting to toggle this behavior.

Great app!! Love how u can see facebook and twitter postings at the bottom of ur screen, and make posting from this app!! It is awesome that u have a great selection of alarms and can even use and shuffle ur music if u want to wake up to that as well!! The alarms can be set extremely loud so u will wake up to this clock!!! Great app!! Ps Not to be morbid but if this clock doesn't wait you up you're dead!

Best alarm app

If I had to choose one app to have it’d probably be this one. I use it every single day. After setting up my initial alarms I pretty much let it go. I place a tremendous amount of trust that it’ll go off as intended and so far it’s never let me down. Really easy to use. Highly recommend.

I have posted about the reliability of the alarm sound a few times now and with the latest update (January 2019) the issue appears to still not have been resolved. The issue, though, only occurs when I lock my screen. The instructions state that as long as the app is running and the volume is on the alarm WILL sound with the screen locked. This has been true about 50% of the time for me. I have found that the only way for the app to work 100% of the time is to keep the app open and the screen unlocked all night; this also requires the phone be charging all night as keeping the screen on all night is a considerable battery drain.

The only alarm clock I use. Well worth the money!

Use this app every night, wouldn’t be without it. Use it regularly on my phone too.

Won’t go off even though my alert says it’s the next alarm. Sometimes takes three or more sets to get it to alert that it is set up use to only take one and now it might not even come on. Using it on iPhone and an IPad.

This app does exactly what I need. I use it when I travel and absolutely must be awakened.

Maybe not as much is my coffee but this alarm clock gets me up and doesn’t give me an attitude! Unlike the neighbors rooster

Instant delete. Offers no functionality than the standard iOs clock (which has never let me down). Bedside clock? Just tap the screen twice.

You should be able to turn off notifications and the alarms still sound.

I’ve been using this app for a long time and loved it. Unfortunately lately I’ve had several experiences where the sound did not come on. The alarm screen was showing that it was sounding, but no sound was coming out. It may be time to find a new alarm app if this can’t do the primary things it’s supposed to.

Simple to use and actually does what it’s supposed to do. A great app.

I’ve tried several different alarm clock apps. Most are OK, but not perfect. This one is the best of the bunch IMO and my go-to app for everyday use. I paid to upgrade and unlocked all the options. Well worth the little extra to get the flexibility and I like to change it up. The app works consistently, hasn’t let me down and it’s easy to use.

I use the wake to music option on this app. Over the last few months I have had a continuous issue where sound will not play at the designated time. Although, I'll wake to find a notification that says the alarm is ringing but there is no sound. It's. 50/50 chance everyday that it will work properly. I contacted the developer and they indicated that this is a known issue and they are working on it. That was some months ago though.

I don’t even use the Apple app that comes with my iPad Pro. I travel a lot and use this over the hotel clock alarm as well. It’s got a huge read out with adjustable lighting. And the alarms have a variety of wake up sounds that wakes you up easily without feeling like smashing your device. If there’s a problem it’s because I forgot to put it on AM or PM depending on if I’m on nights.

I have had this alarm clock forever. Unfortunately twice in the last month there has been no sound when the alarm went off. I know the volume was up high enough. When you depend on this to wake up for work this is unacceptable. Time to look for a new clock...

I have used this alarm for a few years now, almost everyday. If you plug your phone it is great. Never missed a wake up. Many choices for tones and you have a flashlight next to you all night.

I use this app everyday to wake me up. Occasionally I use other features like sleep mode. No issues with it.

I travel nation-wide in my line of work. I can always count on Alarm Clock to have the right time zone and always wake at the time I set. The news interface, weather updates, and notices have proven more useful than I had anticipated.

I had to set the correct time, wait for 60 seconds, and change. That is all.

When your yanked out of a deep sleep it's just too hard to turn it off. Frustrating. Everything else is really good about it.

I love being able to set daily alarms so when ones schedule changes, it’s not a one alarm for every day.

This is a dependable and VISIBLE clock with pleasant alarm sounds and plenty of display options.

This app on my iPhone functions as my clock and when necessary alarm clock every nite. Love it and have used it for years. Simple. I’ve used it every night for 3 years. Love it!

Occasionally the alarm will not sound. It will display that the alarm is set to go off but never will.

Their sounds or my music. Large, easy to see display. I choose my own colors. Reminder of when the next alarm is, so if I need to change it I remember to do that. Everything is just right for me because I can customize everything!

This alarm makes no sound when the alarm goes off. Nothing. The entire function. Of this app doesn’t work. Useless. What a waste of money.

I've been using variations of this app since the iPhone 3G. It's always worked. Until this morning. Now I have to use the stock app until the issue gets fixed. The alarm didn't go off today. No sound. Erased my alarm, created a new one. Still won't work. Sad day. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Great clock, simplistic functions - exactly what I wanted. UNTIL I went to bed and reduced the brightness of the text. It would not let me reduce the background light. It was like a huge night lite right next to me. Couldn’t fall asleep it was so bright. If they could reduce total emitted light, it would easily be a five stars. Until then, waste of money if you need darkness to sleep...

Why are there no rain sounds in this well I’ll tell you I’m a thunderstorm right now 🌩🌩🌩 I mean I could have gotten the other one that dose have rain sounds you also have to buy the stuff that you what that is too much

I have been using this app for at least five years. Great ability to dim and set several clocks.

Great app, but I found one frustrating issue. It will not allow me to select “Allow Location Access” in settings in order to enable the current weather to be displayed.

Once you get it figured out, it’s a straight forward and easily used time piece and alarm clock. You can readily adjust its brightness level by swiping across the top of the screen (whether it’s horizontal or vertical). Multiple alarm settings can be input for convenience. You may need to tap the face to get the setting menus to show st the bottom of the screen. You can shake the phone to activate your flashlight. It’s probably best to plug your phone in on charge with the app open and running for complete reliability as an alarm clock. If you’ve set your i-Phone to auto sync to the cloud when plugged-in and locked, you might remember to manually direct it to back up before opening the clock app to use it as an alarm.

Yeah, the only problem is I can find no discernible way to reset the sleep timer. I had it set to repeat the same song over and over again. If there’s a way to even change the sleep timer’s song, I’d sure like to know what it is. I formerly rated this app at four stars. Loss of the sleep timer function merits a two-star rating.

I always liked it when I had my first iPad. For whatever reason I stopped using it after I bought iPad 2. So I decided to get the old iPad out and use the app as a simple clock.this way I don't have to keep my new iPad plugged in all day and night.

All my alarms have gone off on time and I haven't missed any appointments. So we're back to five stars! ........ Revision: had to take away a Star 😥 ... Sadly I've discovered a critical flaw. If ones Internet / WiFi connection goes out, as has been known to happen, then Ooooops! No alarm! Yup! Why? Well a notice pops up letting you know about the disconnection, and until you click on it, your alarm doesn't reset. Guess that's fine if a person is sitting around watching for it. But I set my alarm when I GO TO SLEEP!!!! Not too useful then, eh??? Sigh old review, before all those days ... I’ve used this app for years without problems. It used to work perfectly, even with the mute button on. Because of my job, I normally keep my phone on mute. Now, the alarm doesn’t go off if mute is on. Yes, it warns you but not good enough to catch your attention. The warning was there for quite a while but the alarm still actually worked. I guess they “fixed” that in the last update. Now I’ve been late to work twice. Who the heck wants their alarm clock to NOT work if mute is selected? Just turn the alarm off if you don’t want it to work.

Wow, I will NEVER update this app again. Luckily, it is finally fixed after many flawed updates. App is SUPER; every alarm clock feature you could dream up. Esp. love the flashlight and fade-in alarm volume. 5-Stars for this app, 2-Stars for the reliability of the developer. Tested 3 wks, iOS 11.4, iPhone 8

When I first got my iPhone many years ago, I searched for a bed side alarm clock and used quite a few. I found this one to be the best one for me. My favorite features are that I can use whatever music/sounds I want for the alarm and the Escalating volume feature. They’ve even added and updated many features over the years and are sure to keep it optimized for each new version of iOS. If you are debating between this and another clock app, you cannot go wrong with this one. I strongly recommend it.

Why is this app so unstable? Every so often functions quite working.

One of the best alarm clock apps available and I also purchased for the integration with my Apple Watch. Unfortunately, the app is a little flakey with the watch app in that the next alarm time doesn’t correctly show on the watch or if you have two alarms set, it only shows the next alarm from one of the set alarms and not the other. So for example, I have Alarm 1 for Mon, Tue and Thu for 6:30am and Alarm 2 for Wed and Fri at 7:30am. Once the Tue alarm is done, it shows as Thu being the next due alarm and not the one for Wed. So it does not seem to play accurately with the Apple Watch. I had reached out to the developer in January but never heard anything back. Good app otherwise and hopefully they improve the watch functionality...

Flawless! I wake up to my music playlist. I can set multiple alarms and save them for future use. Display can be set to an infinite color array and the screen brightness can be adjusted to suit your preference. I love this app.

I really hate turning on my ringer while I sleep because I hear every single notification while I’m sleeping and I’m a light sleeper. PLEASE fix this and give me the option to keep my mute switch on like before! Also: I don’t use Apple Music so could you possibly get it to where I can use my Spotify music since I pay for Spotify?

Good program

Seems like the battery charge on my iPhone 6s Plus has shorten since this app was installed. On the other side, I especially like being able to change and adjust the color and brightness.

I have used this app for a couple of years now. I have a customized tone which I got from my previous alarm app. This one developed an annoying bug a year or so ago. I messaged the developers. They responded AND fixed the bug. It has worked flawlessly since. You have a happy camper here!

With latest update, the alarm gives notifications but no sound. This is both on my phone and pad. Horrible!

Works great and always gives me the time visibility I need.

If possible, can you please dim the home bar for the iPhone X. It’s white and very bright. It doesn’t change color with the clock but if it dimmed I would greatly appreciate it. Other than that I like this app, so far, I didn’t think I had been missing a bedside clock but this took care of that anyway.

Purchased just so I wouldn’t have bright ads in my eyes at night. Ads still popping up. What’s up with this??? I could understand if I was still using free, but you got my funds and yet the onslaught of ads continue. Love the app, but geez would give it a 5 rating, except for the ads thing.

I’ve scoured the App Store for clocks and I’m extremely happy with this one as it has all of the features you could want and more built into a user friendly interface. This clock rocks.

Runs the battery down ... quickly. Can barely get through the night on a full charge. If plugged in to power supply the battery status remains unchanged while app is running.

How can I even use this alarm when the alarm function doesn't even work?!

This app does what I want. Provides a good clock face for my phone so I could get rid of my old alarm clock. Some bugs and or improvement suggestions: Sometimes the Weather bar and alarm indicator won’t show up even though Weather is enabled on the display settings. If I close out the app and restart it, then the weather displays. Sometimes the weather will show up in portrait mode but not in landscape. Setting the alarms seems tricky. There’s a bunch of iPhone settings you have to enable for the alarm to work. I really don’t need the alarm function as al always seem to wake up without an alarm. But if you depend on an alarm to get up, this could be a problem. Display seems smaller than it could be. One of the things I like about using my iPhone as a clock is that it can display large numbers. When I wake up and want to see what time it is, I don’t want to have to put my glasses on to read the clock. The numbers on this app in portrait mode is too small for me to see. Landscape mode is just big enough. But there seems to be lots of screen space left on the table by this app such that the full numbers and other info could be much larger. Not quite sure why this is. Besides that, this seems like a good clock app. I paid $1.99 to get rid of the ads.

can’t get the alarm to work anymore

I dig everything about this alarm clock app, except that the only music one can use is through iTunes. It would be super-awesome if the sleep timer would support external media as well (Pandora, Podcasts, Amazon Prime, etc.)

Does everything I need it to do. The pop ups aren't annoying, as they don't take up the home screen & seems to adapt to things I'd be interested in. So has been useful at times. Only bummer, I'm a heavy sleeper, so there could be more alarm choices or make the available choices LOUDER. I had to hook mine up to speakers. But all in all, I dig it!

Easy to set for different times to get up and nice to see the weather at a glance.

Would have given it 5 stars but with each update they never fix the warning that I need to turn on location services when I open the app. I don’t use location services so it’s annoying to have dismiss that warning each time I open the app.

Liked it better before.

I've been using this alarm app hooked up to an old Bose Wave radio for years and it's reliable and works great to wake to my favorite music. All bugs seem to have been worked out with the recent update for iOS11. 5 stars.
