This app doesn't work on my Windows 7 PCI that's hooked up to my modem with my iPad connected to wifi. What a shame that the app doesn't do what it is supposed to do and there's barely any support on the website. Sigh.

I have tried for hours to get it to connect to my iMac and it does not work at all to connect. There is no help on their site explaining why or how. So if you have an iPad four don't bother downloading.

Hasn't worked once since I downloaded it. As soon as you install it, everything goes sketch. Stay far away! If you have downloaded it anyways, DO NOT update your desktop (it'll keep popping up until you clean your computer)

No words can explain, how great this app is. It should be listed in the top 25 apps of all time.

To connect iPad directly to Mac, without router, create Ad-Hoc Wifi on your Mac: Network Preferences -> Wi-Fi -> Network Name -> Create Network Then Join from your iPad. Then Adjust TCP-IP settings to: On Mac: Network Preferences -> Wi-Fi -> Advances… -> TCP/IP -> iPv4 -> Manual On iPad: Wi-Fi -> (!) -> Static And set: IP on Mac: 192.168.0.1, on iPad: 192.168.0.2 Subnet: 255.255.255.0 Router: 192.168.0.1 And that’s it.

Mostly works, and easy to setup. Does tend to stop responding every randomly every few seconds. Nice for occasional use but it would drive me batty for work. Still, a promising app. Works better than similar apps I have tired, and works well enough that I bought the 'Pro' version. Using the insert key causes the keyboard to stop functioning, this requires restarting the server on the mac to correct.

The app looks interesting but I couldn't connect to my computer. The interface for configuration of network is very poor.

It does not work, my Mac has Bluetooth I followed all directions it won't connect, I even try to do it manually and it's no use

I was expecting to see a joystick of some kind. I was thinking just an object which measures the distance, along two or more vectors, between the center of the button and a simple object; and a threshold (positive and negative) for each of them. This object will position itself beneath the center any inputs (usually just 1, the finger) and instantly return to the button when there are no inputs within the area of the object. Also, I have to turn off multitouch gestures in iOS whenever I want to use this app. It is annoying. I have always wondered why my random apps would have a switch to turn off multitouch gestures, and this app constantly throws me to the next screen when I'm in the middle of a game. I would like to see these few features added, as well as an lcd screen like is on some keyboards m but I sense that would be a while out.

Some of it looks like a high school geek designed it. It's NOT easy to use or set up. The website was designed by somebody who has zero understanding of ebusiness. I wouldn't use this app if somebody paid ME the dollar.

I really like this app. There are a few keyboard options. You can do a full keyboard, a compact keyboard, or the iPad keyboard. Connecting to my computer was easy. I use this app because the computer is too close to me and it hurts my eyes but if I move the computer back I can't reach the keys. So this helps.

Need Automatic conección to our computers

App would be great if it had a number pad layout. Other then that it's a good app.

I use this with my iMac and the installation and setup was very easy and straightforward. It works great as a wireless keyboard and has a handful of keyboard configurations to help you out (compact, iPad, full, photoshop, etc). Modifier keys work great too! As does the virtual trackpad. I highly recommend this app.

I installed the server on 64 bit Windows 7 pro and it keeps giving me error message, making this app useless.

I really feel as if I paid for nothing. I purchased this app to be used as a keyboard interface for my ott (over the top) device. After numerous attempts to connect it so that it would prove functional, I persistently failed. I guess I have to find what I'm looking for elsewhere!

I got this awhile ago n kinda forgot about it but then I tried installing the software for it on my laptop and I'm running win7 home premium 64bit but it keeps saying its vista n therefor my laptop isn't supported. I tried it several times even uninstalling the software afew times n redownloading it and I can't seem to get it to work no matter what I do PLEASE HELP as I really love to utilize this PLEASE!!! please n thank you in advance

Five stars if you add middle mouse support.

I mistakenly thought this would use bluetooth to communicate with a PC rather than needing to download custom server software for windows. The license agreement allows the server to collect whatever technical content it can find on your machine so the company can use or sell it. The only limitation is that they cannot personally identify you. The agreement even enables them to capture everything you type and use that too, but they likely are not going that far. If you don't like their agreement or if you don't want to install another server on your PC, then don't get this app.

I have personally tried out a few apps like this one and Air Keyboard is by far the most robust. Now that being said the layout designer makes this shine. It is like creating your own keyboard for exactly what software it was meant for. Which in turn could save tons of time searching for and remembering hot keys or shortcuts. Softwares like blender and photoshop have well over 30 shortcuts to remember not to mention trying to remember similar key combos that other programs use. Over time the shortcuts start crossing paths and gets confusing. Like control alt d means one thing in Photoshop but in a different program it's something else. All you have to do is get a list of the shortcuts and make a custom keyboard with this app. This app could help with a lot of that stress of trying to remember. As a bit of advice learning shortcuts is a good portion of using a program well. With this you will gain more control over your software far quicker then the traditional method in my own opinion. The game override is really nice for quick action macros for games.(note I believe this is the only app that can do game macros currently) There are a few drawbacks to the layout designer but it comes with the territory of its customizing ability. The developer so far over the last couple months has been active which that alone is invaluable. They have added the layout upload and download feature, fixed bugs , and added other features. After you create your ultimate keyboard for you application. The time you save will make this a staple in your workflow and gaming. This is why Air keyboard is worth checking out. This next part is things I personally like to see in upcoming versions. The sequence is great but time consuming for long strings. I have to go through a menu for every character and the keyboard pop up lag. The ability to completely remove a layout from the menu. I don't know if I am missing something but I can't seem to get rid of unwanted layouts. There are a few other little things. The main feature I would want is a layout designer app for the desktop. The iPad makes making layouts more difficult then it needs to be but that is not apps fault. I just feel a desktop app would really speed up the process of layout designs and modding ones from the community. That would also make like adding artwork and things faster. Just some thoughts... I am overall happy with the product and the fact the Devs are active make it worth a purchase.

Unable to connect with either ipad or iPhone. Have set firewall settings for UDP and TCP to no effect.

I don't know why but it doesn't seem to be able to connect with my laptop. I've spent the last one hour trying to make it work by reinstalling everything but it's not possible..

I do not suggest you download this app on an iPad 4! I downloaded the app and it will not connect to the internet and I tried to get a refund but the steps you have to go through are absolutely ridiculous so needless to say; I did not follow through with the refund. It said if you wanted to manually set it up then go to their website and it doesn't give you the web sight....go figure.

i have been an iPad user since the very first iPad came out, I have never written one review for any app yet. I Bought the bulletTrain eXpress ($70.00) for the apple wireless keyboard (($69.00) and magic trackpad ($69.00) Thats$209.00 to be lazy and be able to sit on my couch and browse my computer hooked up to my TV. I can still type faster on the actual keyboard than the iPad but this app is AMAZING. Have full access to keyboard and track pad and so easy to use. I have all the mobile mouse pro’s, apple remote…. and so on. This APP IS THE BEST. THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT

Love this App! My MacBook Pro sits beside my bed (on a stand, etc). So, it was awkward to turn and reach my MBP Keyboard & Trackpad. After installing the Server App on my MBP...I can now sit comfortably (using my iPad) and work on my computer (as if it was on my lap, etc). Nice!!

The negative reviews are from the electronically challenged. Yes, this app works flawlessly with Windows 7. I haven't had an issue yet. Love it!

Have a Dell PC I use as my Home Theater PC. This app is a great solution to eliminate the my wireless keyboard and mouse. Highly recommend.

Aways connect, but then stop working and need to restart the app to work again.

I love the customizability of the keyboard layout. Whether its the size of the key, the picture, the text, it can be laid out for anything. Latency is not an issue with day to day use, but without blue tooth connectivity gaming can be challenging.

Just needs some more templet. I found one good one to use and modify as a setup for my cintiq companion tho. Works out nice for a mobile setup.

Very pleased with this app. I am able to use my iPad to control a music player app (Cog) on my Mac Mini.

It works. But there's some stuff missing. The create your own keyboard option is weird and it feels unfinished. Also multitouch gestures aren't there, only scrolling. It's a good start, but it needs more.

So far, this is perfect... Just one little thing and this will be perfect.. Scroll pad (usually it was in the acer laptop touchpad)..so i can scroll easily,,,..hehe Editt= Found it..two finger for scroll..😂 5starr 👍👍👍💖

Since the last performance update, this app is just very responsive. it is by far the beat keyboard app for the iPad i have ever used. I totally recommend this app. in fact, I’m writing this review on my mac using this app as a keyboard. gotta love clam shell mode :)

It's one of the cleanest and fastest wireless keyboards I've ever used on my iPad with my mac. I am a developer and yes this is helping me writing code with some distance from my MacBook

I was surprised it actually worked so well.

This is the first app I have written a negative about. This one has great reviews but it does not work on my devices. I have an iPad Air, iPad2 and my computer is Windows 8. If refunds are granted, I am requesting one.

I am a gamer, and I was about to drop $60 on a Razer Nostromo gaming keypad. But I decided to set my regular keyboard up in the Nostromo layout so I could practice with it until I could afford the purchase. Then the idea hit me to download a remote keyboard app for my iPad so I could use it as a discrete device. But when I found THIS app with the customizable keyboards option?! And not only that, but even using custom icons in any layout you want!?! This just became a wireless touch version of the Nostromo, only better, for $57 less! Great app, functionality is awesome, love the customizable mouse sensitivity and even ability to disable "tap clicks" (which work GREAT on this app, but sometimes are a huge pet peeve of mine). A+++ on this, guys! :D

I appreciate purposefully designed software that works....this has enough features to be an awesome app without adding useless functionality....WELL DONE!!!! I was using a keyboard and mouse for the living room setup, found this app and put the extra hardware back on the shelf, Thank you.

This app is pretty bad. The mouse lags badly which makes it very difficult to use. You will be better off with Mobile Mouse Server if you are looking for a nice iOS keyboard for your Mac.

Didnt even realize I needed something like this but what an awesome app! No lag whatsoever, easy to install on xp, vista and win7, excellent customization, easy to flip between multiple computers, great job guys!

This app is horrible. You might as well just throw your money in the garbage - the return on investment will be equal.
