For calculating acreage on my farm there simply isn't an easier way.

Doesn't have the satellite or hybrid view like it says or shows it does. It only has map view. I can't map out a field of I can't see anything but a street. The "agri" is very misleading along with the descriptions. Don't do this one.

I love the idea of this app but I plotted my whole farm with it an the acreage is way off. Not accurate at all!

This is a the worst of apps. Promising and not delivering yet still here. I am very angry with wasting time on someones high school app project. No support.

App works ok but needs a major revamp, it’s hard to hit the plus button to add way point bouncing in a ATV mapping fields it would be nice if that button was away from everything else!

Use it to calculate how many acres each pasture is. I then use it to calculate how much fertilize I need to apply to a given area. Also use it to see how many acres I have applied herbicide over. I had a rough idea how many acres each area is and it seems to be in ballpark.

This app was great now it just crashes every time I try to open a new project. This Is crap I spent my dallor for what?

I use to be able to see my property lines, but with IOS 6 update the feature is gone. I never saw an app get worse instead of better. This app is useless to me now.

Bought the application with the intentions to measure areas and distances, but it just doesn't work. On iPhone 5, it crashes when opening a new project. If you are lucky opening a new project, it will crash when you work with it. Don't waste your 99 cents.

This App is still working fine with IOS 11.2.6. I’ve used this app for a couple years and never found anything else that can easily create geo-referenced aerial maps for personal use or sharing. To those who say they are seeing a “black” map; After installing on a new iPad I saw the same black map. A combination of exploring with moving and “pinch and zoom” on the map display resulted in finding a land mass that could then be positioned and zoomed to find my actual location. This process has not been required again as I continue to use the app. This is not a high precision system by today’s standards but it is a system that provides high degree of accuracy without the need to walk field borders. The ability to share the resulting map, notes etc by email is a great bonus.

Had used a previous version of this app and updated it. Big mistake. This version is nothing but a blank screen. Every time I add a boundary point it deletes the previous marker so every project is a single point with an acreage of 0. Beyond frustrating, totally worthless!! Wish I could give it negative stars for all the time I've spent trying to measure my plots with nothing to show for it.

Having walk around an area I know to be well over 8 acres when I look at the plot it showed all the pins I dropped while walking the area it should have at least showed a rectangular field but no it showed all the pins in a line and 0 acres. Which basically means its a worthless app. It doesn't even do what it should do. The is no support for this app no developer to email or talk to. I could write a better app and I wouldn't release it until it worked, but then I've never been a rip-off artist!

Worked great for measuring the area of my irregularly shaped fields. No complaints!

Sceptical of buying anything now days due to all the gimmicks out there to get your money. The app works great so far. Keep up the good work! Well worth the money.

Not accurate with limited cell service

Used to work good early on(2-3 yrs ago?) just went to use it again and it constantly crashes and locks up when trying to drag pins...I'm deleting it unfortunately...

Useless. It keeps crashing when I try to move the dropped pins.

No help function. I couldn't get it to work and I have a master's degree. Accuracy appears to be very low.

Works very well but I would like it better if I could put down more pins. I think it would be more accurate in some of my situations.

Map view will only work not satellite view

This is great! I just bought a house with five acres in the woods. I was able to survey my property with my phone. One acre in the front, four out back. I did notice that the GPS can sometimes take 5 or more seconds to zero in on my exact location, but it was well worth the delay. Besides, I get the same delay when using the iPhone's built in map, and the $30 golfing app I've got. Really looking forward to seeing how this app develops over time. Lots of potential here. UPDATE: Look, my wish was fulfilled! My request below was added. One suggestion: It would be cool to be able to drop non-calculating pins on my map (e.g., the location of my septic tank, points along the creek in the back woods, etc).

I should start out by saying I have never wrote a review for anything before but this app has saved me so much time and work I felt I needed to. I am planting large amounts of trees and food plots for wildlife and this app has been perfect for that. It performs flawlessly and has helped me more than I could have imagined. Thanks.

Well worth the money it works great the acreage seems to be accurate just wish it used google maps like it did before the iPhone update

I like app. Good accurate way of measuring planted acres or fields. I wish it would auto log and auto scroll but dropping pins not hard at all. Had it for a year and still happy with it.

Used to map out hay fields three times last year, tried to do the same this year and the app is junk! Will not give correct acreage will not place boundary pins in correct location have tried multiple times to map the same pasture of 60 acres, argriplot says it’s 4.50 acres???? Fed up! Would love my .99 cents back! Please do not download! App does not work! Cannot find a contact for sharpe tech

This year I bought a 100 acre farm in VA. there are cultivated fields, a pond and wooded areas as well as some wet lands. This program works great for exploring and getting the lay of the land. Distances between points works great for utility planning and area is great for calculating fertilizer, etc.

I wish you would add distances. This would be great for calculating fencing.

I've mapped a lot of fields with this app the past few years but have run into some issues. <- Plot Projects covers the title so you can't edit it. Previous versions didn't have this issue. Only way to get out of the description box and save is to click in the title box. Can't edit description unless it's a new plot, after that you're stuck because you can't click in the title box covered by <- plot projects. Please, please fix these issues. There's no contact info to address issues. Acres aren't exact but pretty close most of the time. Other than that it's easy to use and you can send a pdf of the map to your email.

So many possibilities with this app. Just staked out my property. Wasn't sure in the back corner where there was no pin (swamp). Abel to use the other pins and measurements of the tax map to get it dam close(with in feet). (a phone isn't actual surveying equipment ). Wish this kinda stuff was around when I had my logging business 15 years ago. Ah star tacs ha ha. You can email your work and view it on you desk top (google earth), so cool. $.99 , that's cheap. Great job!

Easy to use. Exactly what I needed

This app deserves 4 stars. I held one back because of the apparent lack of a 'Restart' button. There is no easy way to clear all dropped pins and start over. Overall it performs as advertised and does it well.

The app crashes constantly and doesn't properly connect pins to show area. The concept is good, but in its current state this app is worthless.

Kept closing would not let me make over 32 boundary markers.

Was walking out a 20 acre plot with about boundry points and then it started crash. Wouldn't stay running at all. Also when adding a picture to a point those pictures don't populate my photo library so those pictures are basically lost. Mostly annoyed that i couldn't properly finish my plot. Standing in the woods trying to keep this app from crashing after spending a lot of time trying to the land plotted was really annoying.

I was reluctant to purchase this app after reading some of the reviews. I'm sure glad I purchased it. I am using it to survey asbestos disposal locations at a landfill and it works excellent!!! User friendly and easily emails pdf's so the data can be saved. Worth way more than a buck to me, thanks!

This app is so inconsistent and uncontrollable. This is a total piece of garbage!

Every time you touch new plot it went back to screen

I need to plot my yard - didn't even register square feet at all. What a waste of money

Almost didn’t buy this due to the recent ratings. I figured I’d give it a try for the price. I drove the perimeter of all of my hay fields. It worked flawlessly. I knew the acreage of the fields from the fertilizer truck GPS and it was very close. I will definitely use this a lot.

Just could not make it work. Deleted app.

This app has worked well most of the time I use it. We have a 5acre place in the tropics and surveying, marking tree and plant positions have been very useful. Sometimes need to wait to get good GPS fix, especially in heavy tree coverage, if you don’t wait you will get VERY inaccurate points but they are easy to delete from your data. It would be nice if it would display GPS accuracy when placing a point. Well worth the $0.99.

This is a great App for calculating area (acres) I use it all the time to determine acreage. If you are in farming and are conssisteently need to know your acreage for planting, planted, to be planted or just need to know the acres of a certain parcel, This is the right App.

I have no idea why everyone is complaining but I had one crash and it still saved my work. I was able to plot my acreage in 15 minutes and honestly people, this is $.99. Any comparable software would be 100x the price. Some people would complain about anything. If you people have any idea the hard work in getting accuracy to +/- 500 ft when the maps are done aerial or satellite you wouldn't complain. You do understand pilots fly within spec of +/- 100ft and distance can never be 100% when the distance above ground or the camera's lens cannot be specified. People complaining should honestly just be quiet unless you have any idea of the depth of work required and hours which I can assure for $1.00 will never be paid for. I rate this 5 stars and I truly hope that the bad reviewers here won't stop this developer from continuing his work. The only single addition I would like to see would be the ability to manually edit long/lat which may be available. I have only spent a short time with the app. **Edit: There were no issues at all on the IPhone 5 OS6.0.1. The crash I mentioned was on the IPad 4.

After the latest update the tools and features are present to work but the map is blank like a road map only so it makes the app useless now as you use the app to plot and measure land not roads so not having a satellite view in the map makes it totally useless.

Read the reviews prior to purchase and was hesitant. I thought for $.99 what did I have to lose. Worked very well for plotting all points of my previously surveyed property. Once I worked with it a while it was simple and concise. The map and locations saved were easily sent to my e-mail for printing. Once it picked a location down in the mid Atlantic though. Don't know why, but by marking the point with a flag, deleting the point I was able to correct it. I tried a couple of other apps as well, but for under a buck I thought this did a great job.

I do not see how it works....no support. Total waste of $$
