Beautiful clean and simple UI, which efficiently offers tons of features. Well worth the price. And the developer is super helpful and quick to respond to support requests. A must-have when planning a trip. I LOVE that the day of your trip if you leave with stuff still unchecked, it alerts you. Hint: add a section for "tasks" you always need to do before leaving town.

Don't know how old is the other review but with the iOS 7 update is great. Tons of features and simple looking.

Easiest I've ever used, the cleanest and just the best. The user interface is more streamlined than other packing lists I've used, easiest to add to and alter your list. A huge relief, basically.

Have used this app for several trips, and it's useful for both packing and a travel ToDo list. Simple interface makes it easy to quickly add items as you plan ahead.

That pretty much says it all. Apps should just work. There is really no excuse for them not doing so. DELETED!

Enough bells and whistles to make it useful, but not over the top and confusing. Great layout.

UPDATE: iCloud sync still broken; the latest update does not provide a fix. Really frustrating. This is a great, simple app, highly customizable but since the recent iOS 9 update, iCloud sync no longer works, which makes it cumbersome when you create lists on your iPad and then want to check items off while packing using your iPhone. I emailed support but haven't heard back yet. Disappointing.

I was a big TripList user, but they never fixed the crashing bug. I'm so glad I found this! Packing apps have been invaluable to simplify the packing process for my family. There are two big advantages to using an app like this. First, it helps me not forget anything. Our trips are vastly different, and without something like this I'm likely to forget those unusual things like the yellow fever vaccination card or the interpol clearance for driving across international borders. Second, it separates packing into a decision-making stage (which I can do anywhere, anytime on the app) and a putting-stuff-in-containers stage (which I'll do a short time before I need to leave). I've tried a bunch of other packing apps, and Travel List is the most beautiful. I don't use the calendars or reminders, but they're not obtrusive and don't take away from the main function, which is reusable lists that I can mark off quickly.

This app has been indispensable for me-- I've used it for all the traveling I've done over the last 2 or 3 years. The look of the app is really clean and easy to follow. While the presets for the packing lists are helpful, you can add or delete categories as you please and customize the items that show up in certain categories. You can also toggle which categories are shown, which helps keep clutter down when putting together a packing list and helps when you want to keep a category but only need to use it once in a while (like skiing equipment). Also useful when packing back up to be sure you haven't forgotten anything. I also like that you can make an itinerary and set alerts for yourself. I've never had a problem with syncing between devices and have just checked that my iCloud sync is working perfectly. Honestly have never had a problem with this app and always come to it for any trips I'm taking.

I wouldn't have thought that this basic process needed "an app for that", but having tried it - it's great! Fairly simple way to create and reuse a packing list, and check off the items as you prep. I only wish it was possible to add one-off items to a packing list without putting them into the presets.

I couldn’t get any features to work. I made a list but no other features were available. I couldn’t check the list off, nothing.

I use this app every time I travel, whether it's just me or all seven of us. I have added a To Do category and use the app as my check list both on my phone as well as using the printed list. I like how I can go back to previous lists and tweak them to fit current trips, but lately, I'd rather just set up new ones because it's nice to have a record of the various trips we've made. I really like how I can hide whole categories, like camping, or babies, when they're not applicable to the current trip. This app really saved me last Christmas when I had to pack to send the boys to go to their grandparents while we flew out to a wedding. I just set up two different lists and printed them out and it made all the difference in my sanity. I just love this app because I never have to start a packing list from scratch again! With all the previous items I've entered in different categories as options to add to a new list, it's very unlikely I'll ever leave any necessary item home. It takes a while to customize, but now I don't have to worry at all about forgetting anything when I travel. I even added a custom grouping for todo items like book a cat sitter, water plants, turn on my out of office notification, etc. I love the style and that it syncs across all my devices. Get it!

This is one of THE best apps I have ever encountered. I work hard at avoiding writing reviews for apps, and I've actually taken a break in packing for my trip to help spread the word to make sure more people know about what a great app this is! It's absolutely beautiful, simple and intuitive. It does what I want it to and what I didn't even realize I wanted it to do. Please download this if you're looking for a way to organize yourself before a trip! Has a great "to do feature as well." Looks beautiful on the iPhone, iPad and on the Apple Watch.

After two months of use, I am a fan. Takes a little bit of practice to figure out how the various lists you create work with the masterlist (which you can also revise or create), but totally worth the investment of time. I travel frequently for work, and I no longer worry about what I might have forgotten.

This list making app is functionally and graphically great, although I would like a bit more customization. However, over the course of a week, it automatically deleted numerous items from my list and also deleted the categories for several more. That makes is problematic and completely unreliable for a list that is supposed to help you remember items. If it deletes something, you might forget it!

This is a perfect travel list. I have been using it for a few years now, mainly as a packing list. It is user friendly and super easy to use. I would love to see this exact app available for the computer - Mac computer. The version available is not nearly as good

I have had this app for quite some time, and I like it very much. The current version has a few minor bugs, but overall I'm very happy with it. I find it to be better than using something like Reminders because it is specific to the needs of packing for a trip. If it weren't for the few bugs in the current version, I would be giving this a five-star review.

Nice app for making packing lists. Simple and does what it's supposed to.

Exceeded my expectations for a packing list. The itinerary looks really nice. I like that if I add something to a list, it is automatically added to that category template for the next time I create a list.

I spent a long time searching for a well designed packing list app until I found this. The design is beautiful and the two columns take advantage of the entire screen and make a lot more sense than the usual scrolling single column design. I usually hate packing but with this app it became a lot more pleasant. A lot of app creators could take some design lessons from this app.

iCloud syncing is finally working properly. This is still my first choice for packing. However items that were hided on the previous version stay hidden and there's no more an option to unhide them. I had to manually re-type all of them into the preset list.

Perfect for those who love to organize & equally for those who need help organizing with almost anything. I love that you can add your own customized fields! Great for including a to-do list before any type of travel as well as ensuring you're not forgetting anything. So glad the makers made this app and I'm glad I got it. It is my life changer! 🏆

This is awfully big, when you can keep track of the same things in any decent planning & list app.

Great looking app, solid features. Needs ability to edit/delete list items, and new list items are not displaying under new categories. Otherwise, beautiful :)

I love everything about this app! It allows you to creat your own categories or items to pack. You can check off or hide items as you go. The print option looks fabulous and works wonderfully. You can even email your list. Well organized and thoughtfully planned. Very clean and simple as well. 5+ stars from a persnickety perfectionist!

I tend to overpack. This app has helped me inventory my travel items avoiding the non-essentials. Clean layout, editable categories and items. Plan by destination also so you can revisit old lists.

Everything I need to plan is there, but it would be more helpful if it were more customizable with: 1. More space to describe items and see what I've planned, on the initial page. e.g., under Shirts, I need room to enter the specific shirts: the blue denim, the black-&-white check, etc. If I can see the specifics, I can see the outfits I plan and determine if they meet my needs. 2. Being able to move/reorder items within a category. e.g., under Personal Care let me group all the hair items together, even if I entered 'styling brush' after toothpaste and floss. On the Packing List, I really don't see a need for the reminder. Isn't that duplicating the reminders in Alerts?

When trying to email a list to a friend it freezes and stays locked for 20+ minutes. Can't do anything. Can't hit cancel, can't type. Please fix.

This is a really nice app. It comes pre-populated with several categories filled with common items, so you just select the ones you want to include on your packing list. It’s also easy to add categories and items to any category, so it’s easily customizable. You can also set reminders for checking the sprinkler system, etc. so it covers many travel needs. Pus, it looks great and you can email and print out lists.

Very disappointing app. Confusing navigation and didn't update categories. Don't waste your money.

Simple and beautiful graphical interface. Works exactly as I want it - sophisticated but doesn't have some of the silly and distracting bells and whistles other packing apps have. Totally worth the purchase price.

I'm the kind of person that tends forget AT LEAST ONE THING no matter where I go, if you're like me, this is for you. I'm also detailed orientated, I like to have specific things that go with specific things (iPad-ipad charger, etc.) I need it like that other wise I just forget. The app has a minimal design making it simple and easy to read. I had to kinda figure out how to do a couple things on my own but I got it eventually with time. It's a really cool app.
