Dysfunctional app. Crashes often. Trip planning feature inoperable. Until these features are corrected, this app is not worth buying and consumers should not be charged nearly $9 for an app that fails to deliver.

Finally I don't have to wonder if I caught something that could've out my name on the IGFA records book. Great Fish ID tool also and cam keep track my own impressive catches.

This app was well worth the $8.99 I paid for it! You can learn really worthwhile facts about virtually every species of fish in existence! There's also a comprehensive database of world records which really puts into perspective how big some of these fish can get. A must have app for any angler looking to improve their fishing know-how!

This is a definite 'must have' app for any angler. You can instantly see what the current World Record is, in real time, for tons of species. The My Catches feature is a very nice too. I'm looking forward to populating it with my life list of species that I'm currently targeting. For all of the features, this app is well worth the price.

Overall the app's fairly decent and I haven't had too many problems with it. Some additions I would recommend is to expand the data fields for "My Catches" allowing more information to be recorded and I wouldn't mind the species ID to be expanded if possible

Overall, I like this app, especially the slam part that you can add pics of the species you catch. It is a little expensive, but a must for the serious angler ( who likes to know how his catch stacks up ). I would love to see a fishing log/journal added. That way I could fill out catch records and what I caught the fish on and where. They could even add a catch per unit effort CPUE function on the fishing log if you added fishing time per trip. (for all you fisheries majors like myself) - that would be really cool. Overall, not super impressed (yet) but with a few add ons it would be totally worth the price.

Save your money! Plenty of apps, some free that provide most of the same information. Buyer beware, if there is no free trial then think twice before buying....in the future i will not pay for an app unless i can test drive it for free first.

Awesome, but definitely needs to add the other half of the fish species it forgot into the dictionary.

Are you kidding me? This thing pulls gps info as well as date and time when you enter a catch. I am a guide and like it for me but not for my clients who will be able to navigate back to my spots. It is a great app. Just not so sure how I feel about this being used against me.

Simply the best fish illustrations on the planet! Also, found out that this is the only app that has "real time" record data as IGFA is the record keepers (direct link to their data base).

Use it all the time and like it. Sometimes it has some hiccups, by when it works, it’s a valuable tool.
