I've evaluated several soccer coach apps and this is by far the best one on the AppStore. It allows me to easily plan\execute substitutions, track common stats, take notes- all from a single screen. Suggestions for future release: -Manage more player info (picture and jersey number) -change formation during game using players on the field (it currently does a random assignment) -a tabular view (report) of playing time during game -save changes to an open formation (currently have to "save as" each time) -track and summarize positions played by each player during game Well done!!

Doesn't seem to work very good.

I looked at the other apps in the store and am glad I stumbled upon this one. Far greater functionality than others. Highly recommend this app. I'm looking forward to using it on the field.

I like then drag and drop capability. I can move players on and off to gauge the quality of my offense, defense, and reserves. I typically plan a different lineup for each half, then make substitutions dynamically. If I try to switch the lineup, the app crashes and I lose the entire game and the saved lineups. Every time. Please fix this.

Absolutely love the latest update! I'm actually glad that you have to add a calendar entry, and filtering stats by team and game is brilliant!!! I've used this for both a team I coach as well as a team my son plays on, and the stats themselves are incredible for validating what I see as well as pointing out trends that I need to be aware of as a coach. In terms of substitutions, that has helped immensely coaching 8v8 when there are 15 kids on the roster. The few improvements I would make are: staging substitutions, being able to move a player into a position who slides into another with the third going out. Custom stats in this version is also brilliant. It would be great to be able to have a view to place where on the pitch the shots are taken graphically, as well as adding pictures instead of soccer balls as icons. Those are nice to haves. As a tool, this has been integral to managing time and rotations for our youth team. Absolutely love this app!!! Believe me, you will realize that your return on your purchase has been achieved by the start of the second half.

I coach 3-5 grade and usually am the only coach. Formations and line ups don't get set until game day. This app helps me balance time, manage subs, and roll up simple stats. Have used this for 5 games now and can see the team improve as I focus on the important things. Tech support is very responsive. I'd love to be able to share rosters with coaches who cover for me. All in time. Thanks CoachIt

I downloaded a few, but this one seems the easiest to work with. Making substitutions on the fly, tracking time, score and a few extra statistics. Unfortunately like others mentioned, depending on how much information you would like to track, you will need someone dedicated. For our team, i like to keep track of goals, ck, startup line and time for U11G

Simply saving teams is inaccurate, drops the teams and brings back the Sample Team when defining teams - huge waste of time. When in a scheduled game and the clock is running, it does not count up for each player so you know when to substitute. Soccer Dad has much more features, even things like numbers for players, but the Soccer Dad app has some bugs right now that made me look at this similar less functional app. Seems like both apps and developers need to put some effort into fixing bugs and enhancing their apps.. This is not even close to being worth $10.

I love the concept of this app. I coach Varsity Boys and was looking for something to manage the roster and stats on the sidelines during the game. It manages the roster OK - and as long as you have your brightness up all the way - it is possible to use during a day game. Would be nice to print these out too (for some reason the referees like their paper copies). I do like the feature that it tracks playing time. Doing the stats, IMHO, requires someone dedicated to doing it during the game. As the head coach - you really don't have time - best left to a manager to take stats. I would have expected the app to be more polished for $10. The roster view is buggy at times - you enter in names - they are all there - but sometimes don't show (using this on an Air running latest OS). It could be because this app hasn't been updated for almost a year. It is best to only enter in first or last names only on the roster - as the name goes under the ball (player indicator) and if you have more than 6 subs - all the names run together on the bottom of the screen. It would be nice to be able to change the player indicator and type faces - but that is not an option. Changing the color of the field to have more high contrast when you are outside would be a nice feature too. Using it now for several days - if the developer would give it a facelift and some coding love - I might upgrade the review to a 3. The killer is $10 - as an iOS app I expect a lot for $10 app. As it sits today - this is really a .99 or $1.99 app. I hope the developer takes the extra $9.00 and updates the app - it has great promise. Oh - and spend some of the money on hiring an artist to give it a make over. If I was coaching U7 rec - this would be OK - but for the HS team - it is a bit immature looking.
