Reviewed on 1/15/20 12:35 PMFor volleyball families, we need this app to be functional. The most basic premise of an app like this should be to tag a team & tag tournaments. I can’t even get the green star to select on either version. If you swipe too far left or right, you start over. If you hit the wrong back button, you start over. If you add a filter in search such as a team or state, most times it doesn’t refresh. You guys have a real opportunity to build something functional and people will gladly pay for it. We spend > 7 months of our lives each year with volleyball and we all need a functional app. I have given up on it and use the web version. It’s not a whole lot better but more functions work. If you invest the dev time on this app and make it functional, the more than 100,000 VB parents will not only pay, but will be very happy users. Don’t just port your site, build a real app.

Reviewed on 1/15/20 12:35 PMHorrible user interface. Glitchy. Going back frequently makes me start over. Favorites don’t work or save. Interface makes absolutely no sense. Whoever writes the code for this (cr)app needs to go back to school. Elementary school to start. I hear from one of our team statisticians entering scores, etc is a horrible experience as well. I will do whatever I can to encourage tourney organizers to utilize a different app. This “app” almost makes me wish my daughter had chosen a different sport to be passionate about.

Reviewed on 1/15/20 12:35 PMThis is the worst sports app I have ever used. Not user friendly at all. It has major lags. Please consider updating to keep teams and tournaments so you do not have to go through the whole set up each time.

Reviewed on 1/15/20 12:35 PMThis app is worthless. It was bad in 2018, but in 2019, there are glitches and bugs galore. I’m not able to favorite a team, see more than a a handful of teams in the power rankings, and it periodically crashes if it loads anything at all. AES events is valuable, but I have to use the desktop version only.

Reviewed on 1/15/20 12:35 PMHaving used this app now for several months I have so many ideas for how to make this better, as a parent. Other parents all agree, BTW! Please: 1. Let me lock into my team. Searching for events and rankings, etc from the start each time is agonizing. 2. Why not let me have a GPS that can tell what event I’m at and default to that event? 3. Let me lock my schedule for my team in so I don’t have to see all the extraneous events. 4. Why are rankings seemingly based only off of win % versus some kind of weighted ranking? 5. Let me set preferences for what I see and don’t see, and “lock” those.

Reviewed on 1/15/20 12:35 PMAs soon as the app catches up with the web site and allows Favorites, so I can get the info about my player’s team quickly, this will be a good app. Until then, I recommend the web site.

Reviewed on 1/15/20 12:35 PMVery poorly designed mobile app. Starting over at the beginning every time makes no sense. You can save favorites, so why can’t you retrieve that when opening the app? And the bracket view is dismal. Extremely difficult to follow.
