I love TumbleOn! I have been using it for several years. My favorite Tumblr app ever! Unfortunately, it can no longer save photos to camera roll. The app just crashes every time. I looked in settings > privacy > photos and TimbleOn is not listed. I deleted the app hoping it would ask for permission to save to camera roll when I tried to save a photo. It didn’t, just crashed. Darn it! Please fix. I love this app.

Newest update causes the app to crash when attempting to save pics to iOS 12.1.2. Would also be great to get a “swipe up” or “swipe down” to exit a pic and return to the stream. Other than these minor quibbles, it’s the best app I’ve seen to consume a large volume of pics on Tumblr.

Please update the app to fit the new screens

Does not work with IOS 12. Doubtful it will be fixed since it’s been 3 years since the last update.

Either update to work with ios12 or take it out of the store.

Edit for iOS 12 Does not work. Will not open. Desperately needs a back button or some way to get back to original post when exploring. The app is a bit slower than default tumblr app, but passcode makes it the winner.

With iOS 12 it crashes on launch. In dire need of an update.

This app does not work with iOS 12. I’ve loved this app until I updated to 12. Now it won’t open. It looks like the last update to the app was three years ago. So, I doubt it will be updated.

Was a good Tumblr alternative. Not compatible with iOS12, and app now crashes when you try to open.

Worked great before ISO 12, now it crashes while opening every time. Update your app before I delete it & move on.

This is a great app, but iOS 12 broke it. Crashes instantly on launch. Hoping the creator will release a fix, but it hasn't received an update in years.

I have used TumbleOn for many years. Yes it has its quirks and neglected from lack of updates but did work. Since Beta IOS 12 came out, TumbleOn didn’t show all your likes, excluding quotes as they never showed, but still worked. Now with IOS 12, you can’t even open TumbleOn. Which means your whole history is gone... Please fix this ASAP for TumbleOn lovers like me...

It was a good app for many years. Not anymore after years of no updates and neglect.

Love the app, but feel like not being able to rotate the app on your phone to look at photos in a landscape setting is going to hinder me from using it.

This app hasn’t been updated in 2 years and it shows. Buggy and less reliable under iOS 11, no option for Touch ID, etc. still useable and useful, though. My favorite way to sort and view tumblr feeds in groups.

Thanks for issuing an update fix for iOS 12. App works great again. Feature request: it would be nice if there was a faster way to get back to the previous stream than going back through the history tab.

For some reason I was logged out and can't log back in.

I've been using this app for a long time and I've always loved it. But now I can no longer reblog or like anything and my email pleas for help have gone unanswered. With the app not working and no response from tech support, what else can I do but write this review? Looking at other reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one. There are other problems too, you can bookmark other blogs, but there is no way to delete bookmarks you no longer want. Even blogs that no longer exist have to stay in your bookmarks. With so many issues, I'd have to recommend looking elsewhere for a good Tumblr app. ***UPDATE*** More features have quit working and now I notice the last time this app was updated was June 2015, so the developer has obviously abandoned the app. It's too bad, it used to be a great app.

This is perfect if you primarily follow/reblog tumblrs that only post images, since it gives you a nice layout of thumbnails to browse through the posts on your dashboard and whoever you're following. Note that you shouldn't depend on this if you follow blogs that include a few text or video entries every so often that you'd be interested in reading. Since it's designed for image browsing, it omits any entries that don't at least have a picture. Another downside: while it is a universal app (yay!), it doesn't currently support syncing (so read entries on one device is still unread on another). The developers have said that this feature is coming soon though. Also: no portrait mode on iPad and no landscape mode on iPhone. I don't see these as deal breakers though, but you might.

TumbleOn was THE iOS app for Tumblr photo blogs. It had a series of upgrades and enhancements in the first couple of years, and a responsive dev. Now...? iOS bugs and changes to Tumblr's APIs leave it j...u...s...t... operable. Emails to dev go unacknowledged, and the promised ability to save last read, group contents, and bookmarks across devices via iCloud has never been delivered. Apple needs to do a better job of pulling these for pay "abandonware" apps from the App Store. Users who paid a long time ago got their money's worth, but new users shouldn't be charged for an app that just barely works...

If you have iOS 10 on your device (as most with supported hardware do), and the last updated date shows anything earlier than 10/1/2016, then move on. The app is broken. Most of it works, but once it saves a picture, the picture preview doesn't go away and you need to force-close the app and reopen to go to anything else. It used to be a spectacular app, but as of 10/1/2016, hasn't been updated in over a year, and the developer seems to have disappeared.

The TumbleOn app lets me check my fav. blogs all at once and is often the way I check my account first. Definitely recommend the app!

I’ve never gotten a response from “support”. Ever since iOS 11, the app crashes every time I try to connect to Pinterest. Currently useless for me. This happens every time there’s an update to iOS or the app.

The program has been great, but with the upgrade to iOS 10 it freezes any time you attempt to download an image. No bueno!

I really love this app. It's worth the money for sure - I use it more than the Tumblr app. I wish it had a bit more user control over reblogging options and it doesn't display text only posts or video posts. Still, I mostly view Tumblr for the photo and gifs and this app displays many at a time and is much easier that scrolling down thru individual posts.

Buttons and popups always in the way of browsing. No update in two years. Tumblr isn’t perfect but it’s better than this.

Needs an update. But now it won't save images. The app freezes when trying to save an image. It's a shame. This was my go to Tumblr app. Used to be fantastic!

I've been using it for a while because saving images is easier than on the official tumblr app, but it seriously needs updating. It crashes a lot, there needs to be an option to save only select photos from sets, and it now freezes upon saving them.

I'd love to see it incorporate video. The current version is freezing when I save a picture to my camera roll.

I browse/post really quickly and this app accommodates that. There are a few QOL I would like, but it looks like the dev has dropped this project. Nonetheless, I would recommend. The price is worth it.

Is what I thought a week ago, but since updating the IOS recently the app freezes when you attempt to upload a photo to iPhoto. This is very annoying and completely invalidates the utility of this once great app. Fix it please!

Can't login to tumblr. No large iPhone (6/6S or Plus) support. Booooo.

Effective and efficient.

Everytime I save a pic it the screen freezes and I have to close the app and then open it again everytime, it's pretty annoying so please fix this and please optimize, and I'll rate 5 stars.

I’ve been using this app for I can’t remember how long; honestly never had any issues up until ios12 came out like a week or two ago. I went to go delete the app today when I noticed my little blue dot meaning it was updated. Logged on and it’s been amazing so far! THANK YOU FOR RETURNING AND UPDATING THIS APP.

The developers have updated the app to work with iOS12!....... I couldn’t be happier!!!....... I hope they continue to work on it, PLEASE, and it keeps getting better and better!!!
