I really really love this app. It allows me to share content to Twitter easily and rapidly with a lot of options to customize what I am sharing. Any chance this app can come to the Mac now that the share sheets are gone for Twitter?

It just works. I use both Masto and Twitter, so this app is perfect for me. I love how it grabs photos too from articles. The share extension is where this app really shines. I'd give this app 6 stars if I could. It's all about quickly sharing a link or post and moving on. Thank you for this app!

The text says it works on Facebook so I purchased the app. However afterwards I noticed the fine print says it no longer works with Facebook. After they took my money. Dirty.

This app can no longer be connected to Facebook or Pages. $4 to post in TWO places. No thanks. I want my money back.

This app is worthless to me now that Facebook has denied access from Linky to Facebook Pages as 90% of my usage was posting to my business Twitter account and Facebook Page. Without this capability there is simply no benefit to my using this app. Can you credit me back my money? If not, do you intend to notify users if FB allows your app to post to FB Pages?

Losing Facebook access was disappointing but this app is still the best way to post to Twitter.

I purchased & downloaded this because of the reviews and the authors’ ads saying it would help me putting quoted text and graphics, along with links on Facebook posts. That would be great! But the first few times I tried I couldn’t. No tutorial (other than a speedy YouTube that adds frustration). I’m sure it’s great — but for me, not so much. Opening the app produces a blank web browser ready to search using Duck-Duck-Go to search. Search for what - Facebook? Content to post? If you do find some content, how do you select text of a graphic, and not the entire page? How do you select something to post in any other app? Without a tutorial you may never get to use it

This app has become a must-have for me now that Apple does not natively support share sheets for Twitter. I post links to Twitter very frequently and this app extracts a highlighted image to go along with your tweet. It is a must-have app for me. I wish there was a Mac version of this app!

Top review talks about facebook, but read the app description. It is not supported.

Can ONLY share to Twitter and Facebook. I do not have Twitter and do not want to share publicly. So wasted my money on this app. It does specify in description, so my error. Wish I could e-mail myself or some other way to save links privately. Deleting.

I like this app, and the primary reason I use it is for its ability to share to ADN. The App•net API is decidedly stable :) and so hopefully not too much of a burden to maintain support for. I hope Pragmatic Code reconsiders its plans to drop ADN support. Otherwise, I'll have to find (or make) a replacement.

I've only used this app for one day (as I have just purchased it) and already it's a vital gem. This app saves loads of thought and effort time if you share things constantly. I truly, only have one suggestion. That's to develop a send later functionality. I find myself doing a bulk of research at one time and thus sharing a lot of links back to back, when I'd prefer them to be spaced out.

I’ve bought apps that didn’t live up to the promise of the positive reviews from others, and apps that promised much yet offered little. This one is different: Even after reading all of the 5-star reviews and the features described here by the developer, you really can’t appreciate how fantastic, smart, easy and valuable this app is until you actually use it. When sharing something I really like on FB and Twitter, it’s frustrating when the default preview image or article title misses the mark. With the brilliant extension that integrates the app capabilities into every other app, it is shockingly easy to choose the best preview, use my own preview, tweak the headline and edit the post’s text blurb. Every post looks perfect and conveys what I want it to say. But it gets even better: within the intuitive post composer, I can select any combination of my Facebook pages, FB feed, and the Twitter handles I have — then click send. Done! The perfect post is shared to both platforms in the places I want it. No repetition, no jumping between apps, no hoops to jump through. This is a 6 star app, and my sole complaint is that Apple, Facebook and Twitter should be ashamed that they didn’t offer these capabilities in their products from day one. Is this really as great as the reviews say here? Buy it, and I am certain you’ll write your own review that says it’s even better. Kudos. Solid. The gold standard.

This has forever changed the way I use my iPhone and iPad. Now I just need them to make an app for Mac. Sharing links and texts have never been so easy, and I love how I can access it from anywhere.

It's just a better way to share links. Super intuitive, too. Seems simple, but packs a lot of stuff into a little app. The quote/image feature is brilliant.

Honestly, this could be my most used app. I'm always sharing links on FB and Twitter and Linky makes it super easy. It formats the title correctly to accompany the link. To the dev, thanks for keeping this app alive with updates! 👍

The new look is beautiful, but what happened to just being able to copy a link and then being able to open Linky and have it draw right in? Now we have to actually open the link in Linky's browser first? What a waste of time! It was so much easier before when the link info was drawn in and we could just hit the title and link buttons to populate the messages right away. This new update is gorgeous, but all of the extra steps are a big step back, in my opinion.

I tweet a lot. Probably too much. Most of my tweets are links to interesting things I find online... a human-curated RSS feed. The sequence of copying text in Safari, sharing with the (buggy) Apple Twitter extension, editing the format, etc. is a cycle I've repeated thousands of times. Linky on iOS 8 makes it painless. "Duo" mode even lets me cross-post to my nearly-abandoned App.net account. But it needs some tweaks. One star off for not supporting geotagging of tweets. And another star off for the illegible labels, buttons, and overall ignoring of Apple's accessibility settings. You need to memorize the button positions, because you sure can't read them.

As a standalone app, Linky is a good browser but nothing special. As an extension to other apps, it is magic. It enables me to send to multiple Twitter accounts AND my Facebook page simultaneously. (Use the DUO button when selecting account icons.) Linky in Safari has saved me a half-hour this morning alone. The app developer is responsive to user problems and suggestions. I agree with Dave Barnard (see his PCalc review) that App Store money should go to support the best app developers. I hope to agree. I expect to see the Linky feature set expand and improve in future months.

Linky is now the only (that I've found) way to automatedly post to Mastodon. It's now the core of all my shortcuts and Drafts actions that post there. Thanks so much!

Very nice app I love it. I wish you all can add a direct link to text msg as well, no big deal I can copy and paste, but it would be cool too.

Linky may be one of the best examples of where iOS can be made more efficient in posting to Twitter and Facebook. It is a fantastic App - a must have if into social networks. Since using Linky, my MacBook has been gathering a lot of dust!

Bitly's poor app redesign opened the door for Linky to take over as my link sharing app of choice. It is customizable to fit my needs and works everywhere on iOS. The ability y to add a photo to tweets is my favorite feature. It is the best app I purchased in 2016.

A must-have.

Gone are the days of bitly. This is now my new go-to link shortener. The app is fun and simple to use and integrates very well with Twitter, which is my primary use for the app. Great work developers. Hope to see other perks along the way. This one is a keeper!

It does not work. Can't link any account. Cant even sign up. Literally got my $4 stolen. And I can't get it back. If I could sue I would.

I enjoy using the app to share content with friends. I also like the customization settings that allows one to choose a URL shortener, and search engine. I recommend others use this app, if you find yourself sharing articles or other web content to social media or directly with friends/associates. Also, it's totally usable with VoiceOver, so many thanks to the developer for adding accessibility enhancements so quickly.

This app has BEAUTIFUL integration with iOS 8. I used to have to copy a link, switch over to Bitly, get a short URL, switch over to Twitter and post and then go back to the first app I was looking at. Linky is right on the share sheet now and easily switches between Twitter and Facebook (and I suppose whatever else you have it linked to). And I linked it to my Bitly account. Even better! [UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW]: I’ve left my original review below, but it is NOT ACCURATE. Pragmatic Code (the developer) tweeted me that links on Twitter always count for 22 characters, no matter how many characters they actually are. That solves my only issue (which was actually just my own ignorance), so this app is GREAT! And thanks for tweeting me that answer! (This is part of my original review, but it is NOT ACCURATE:) One downside to that: when you’re composing the tweet in the Linky window, the full URL is shown (and all of its characters are deducted from the 140 limit). As the tweet is posted, it’s converted to a Bitly short URL. So you have to do some math while you’re composing the tweet to see if you’re going to go over. Kind of annoying, but maybe an iOS limitation.

Great well done app to share with confidence on multiple accounts.

Update: One year later, this app continues to deliver great incremental updates. Without a doubt the most bang for the buck I've had from an AppStore purchase. --- I love how this app has evolved with the platform: urlschemes, extension and now… text shots. This one trick pony has become an one trick power app for anything link related (I sometimes use the extension just to grab the text to paste in messages or emails).

Does what it says, but wish I could cross post to all social media. Currently you can only do two.

I spent $3.99 thinking that this app could still connect to Facebook. I only learned about it after opening the app (which I had purchased already). Now I have no use for an app which I spent $3.99 dollars for. Is there a way to have my money I refunded?

Facebook removed the iOS share option for fan pages, but this app fixes that, including the ability to select multiple images. Superb!

yes, it links articles, photos, almost anything easily to twitter and facebook. even better is that it has the text photo option: select text and hit the share extension and the highlight is captured as a photo (which you easily change back to text if that’s your preference. and EVEN BETTER, is that once you hit the linky extension, it has it’s own sharing extension!!! sharing within sharing. SO, i can find link a text photo with the link and title easily to say Day One or some other capture app. SO GOOD. i am still discovering ways to use it.

I am loving this app! I constantly share links to interesting blog posts and this app facilitated that process. I also post a lot to LinkedIn. Is there a future update that would enable sharing to LinkedIn as well?
