If I left this review 2 months ago, I would have given 5 stars. However, I have not been happy with this app recently. In my circle it says people are places they are not. It also freezes up. Sometimes by going to the person(s) in my circle, I can hit the locate and it will get “unstuck”! If it keeps happening I may have to find an alternative.

Good for family

Literally watched my son ride the bus for his first after school program. I didn’t need to call or wait on hold or be overbearing because I watched him arrive. It’s wonderful. Piece of mind for helicopter parents LOVE LOVE LOVE.

My son is a truck driver and whenever he calls me, I always ask him where he’s at and so he set up this app for me. I really like it 😊

I originally installed the app my daughters first year of college. I asked her to download and she stated “it would take up to much space” later that day, it was loaded. It is good to know where she was for safety reasons. I also would initially ask where she was. (That allowed me to let go of the reigns and earned trust). I would recommend to all. Help find if need be grandparents, children, etc... Thumbs up 👍🏾

As far as the features of this app go, it is way too much. You do not need to see every time your kid brakes while driving. If you think this is untrue, i pray for mercy on your poor children. I’m going to break it down. The only reason you should possibly be using this app is if you have a young child you would like to make sure is safe. if you plan on using this for your teenager who is old enough to drive, you are most likely those s***** over-protective parents that nobody likes for good reason. I 100% believe in keeping your kids safe, but this is way too much. From my point of view as a teenager who makes straight A’s and doesn’t participate in any bad activities, DO NOT force this onto your child as they will feel you do not trust them, rightly so. Give your kid(s) a chance instead of pushing this ret4rded app on them.

Being a single mother of two teenagers that works 50+ miles away from home, I love this app! But I was alerted that my son had left school when he was in fact still there. Worried me to death until I heard from him. What was that all about?

When you message on the app and the other person is internationally does it go thru the internet or does it go thru mobile service ?

I think much of the missing and exploited or human trafficking would be solved quickly if people utilized technology like this. People always have their faces buried in their phones on mindless vanity apps. Why not buy an app that can save your very life? It's a no brainer.

I love that I can check on where my daughter is now that she has her license! I can see all the side trips she doesn’t tell me about, and I can see that she’s reached her destination safely. Best app ever!!!

We have installed this app on all of our company owned cell phones. The location service is awesome! We upgraded to get the full use to include event tracking such as phone use while driving. Interestingly enough, I self tested this and it showed that I used the phone while driving when I was actually pulled to the side of the road and completely stopped. So... there are still some kinks to work out!

I use this absolutely every single day! We have 4 daughters and 3 are of driving age and all live at home. Couldn’t go without it.

It’s actually really cool app I’m able to see that my family is safe and I can get to them if I really need to thanks.

Good app but.....messages of family movements are sometimes received 15-30 minutes after the event (departure from or arrival at home, etc). Surely the system should be programmed to ‘poll’ more frequently, say, every 30 seconds.

The basic works very well as long as you enable mobile data usage. It does use a lot of battery, but that is to be expected with location service.

The routes i have taken are off. Plus it shows im using my phone when im not during my route so my significant other thinks im calling people behind his back when im not. When it does show the right amount of calls, the times are off and the place where they were made. This app is going to cause unnecessary divorces. Fix it!

This app is great !!! It keeps my worries down a ton by helping me to see where my loved ones are.

The app is really good, and makes me feel better about walking out without my parents but there’s one small issue. Now it isn’t that important, but the circle around the house is too big. There’s a store near my house and when I go there it says that I went home. Otherwise the app is really good.

This app is great! Love the communication I have between me and my children. Only issue is all of us that use it now have very short battery lives for our phones. I know some of you say their batteries don’t drain with this but ours all do. Any suggestions to help control that?

Easy to use and very accurate

Love being able to actually see my kids walking or riding in a car with out having to press refresh like other apps. It’s real time and love being able to know they made it safe.

This app has done nothing but cause trouble and depression in my life. It’s ruining my childhood. From the viewpoint of a teenager that has been forced to download this app, I find it very upsetting that I’ve felt like I’ve been subjected to some kind of prison. What I also find upsetting and unfair is that the adults downloading this app have had a childhood where they went places with their friends and have not been tracked down or have come home to an extreme amount of questions, such as “why were you out so late” or “why did you stop here for 10 minutes”. I’m a teenager that lives in a small town in Tennessee. We like to go to bond fires, ride around at night, and just hang out with friends for fun. But due to this app this freedom has been taken away from me. I can’t even go anywhere outside my house or school without being punished. This app has caused so many teens like me to act out against these rules caused by this app, and has caused even more trouble. If you are a parent and had fun in your teenage years let your child do the same. Don’t be a hypocrite. High school is supposed to be the best time of your life. It’s supposed to be filled with friends, fun times, and new experiences. This app has costed me my childhood, growing experiences, and learning experiences. I am very annoyed at this app and the parents downloading it. I know you think your “protecting your kids” or it’s a “safety precaution” but once you have the app it’s a completely different case. Don’t s**** your child of their childhood and subject them to some kind of prison. Don’t download this app. This app causes problems.

I love knowing where my kids are when they’re traveling on the highway or interstate. It’s comforting knowing I can find them in a reasonable amount of time if something goes wrong.

My boys just got their drivers license. I love knowing where they are at all times. Yesterday my son should have been home from practice so I pulled out my Life 360 app and I could see he was at McDonalds. This morning I was checking to see what time the boys got out the door for school and how fast they were driving. Before my son, had his drivers license, we would have to go to the school and wait for the bus to get back from Cedar Point trips. It was nice to track where the bus was. You can even see how many miles away it was. I love that I can see when my husband is on his way home so I know when to start dinner. I love that it alerts me when any of my family leaves or comes home. Even my dog knows the sound and runs to the door to greet them. What an amazing, wonderful tool. Thank you very much!

This app only allows you to connect with 1 family member for free. After a short period of time connecting with 2 members, one was deleted and I was told I had to start paying a monthly fee to connect with more than 1 person in my family.

This app worked great at first. We’ve had it for about 6 months, and with the updates, it has seriously declined in performance. We get not located notifications all the time, and when we arrive or leave a place the notification happens about 5 minutes after we’ve arrived or left.

Very comforting to be able to know the location of people you care about, and this app does that for me. It is not always extremely accurate but it is mostly close. Also, at times it takes a while to refresh the locations of everyone. However, it mostly operates pretty well; in fact I’m in the US and I recently used the app to track two family members as they traveled through Spain, and last year I tracked two family members traveling through Italy. In both cases it was still pretty accurate from what I could tell. All in all, I’m really happy with the location and tracking services of the app. Thanks to the developers!!

a realistic point of view: Parents, when you were a kid, didn’t you love the conversations when your parents asked you “why did you stop at the gas station for 10 minutes” or “why did you take the long way to the house”, this app is overbearing and unnecessary. I understand this app being used if your child has a track record of running away or issues at home, but this app should not be a part of a normal family dynamic.

I have tried this app for my family. It does not work well. Why? My wife and kids in the same car shows they are in 2 different places. Keeps making he same mistake over and over again.

I love this app yet the route your family takes may glitch

We live in a new subdivision and Google Maps knows where we live; please update your maps. I Hate that all I see is a neighbors house in a different sub division.

For being free it’s really good.

Was referred to this app by a friend and have found it simple to use and helpful. The free basic membership pretty much acts like Find My IPhone but for all of your family in one simple interface.

This app saves a lot of worry for myself and my family. If you’re unable to get someone on the phone, you can look at this app and see if they’re at work or ball practice. Which would be a reason for not answering rather than freaking out and thinking they’re in the ditch someone. I always think the worst when I’m unable to get someone on the phone 🤦🏻‍♀️

My parents got me this and they flip out when I’m even in a different part of the SCHOOL and the location accuracy is off! WHAT THE HELL!! DONT EVER GET THIS FOR YOUR CHILDREN

This app has been such a blessing to my family! We have an adolescent and teenager and it is great to know where they are and to confirm if they are where we have them permission to be at! It’s quite accurate and the ability to check in is a great tool!

The concept is great but the customer services is TERRIBLE. I pay each month for the premium level but if I want or need help the messaging system is hard to find and several times they don’t answer the question that I am addressing and if I still need help I have to start the whole process over again. Also there is no notification so I have to constantly check for a reply which once took several days. I truly think this is Intentional. If I loose my phone I honestly have no idea how they would help me find it which is supposed to be a feature of the premium level to which I subscribe. I think they should offer a telephone number for premium subscribers. I have already made this comment directly to them on the very unhelpful messaging system but the just don’t care.

We have been using Life360 for several months and I’ve gotta say that it is outstanding, even for a tough critic like me. It’s one of those apps you learn about and then immediately have to start telling everyone else about it.

This app is spot on with locations. We’re quite impressed with the accuracy. It’s been super helpful with our kids with autism too.

When it zooms back in on my location after I look at someone else’s it is annoying. I can’t see any other problems with it though.It is much better and more informative than ever.

My mom got this app so I can drive more often, however her location seems work fine (she has a android) but mine has changed my location 3 times in the last 5 minuets, and NONE of them were even close to where I was!!! I’m not happy with this because my mom wants to trust me when I say I’m going somewhere but if she checks and it shows I’m not then I won’t be able to go places.

I’ve used LIFE360 for YEARS!! I’ve been paying now for months. All of my family are in my pay for CIRCLE ⭕️. I’ve recommended this app to friends & relatives. Even after I’ve been contacted by a tech, “Unwanted Places” will STILL not delete. And a 50ft, 75ft, 100ft proximity would be MOST HELPFUL when there are places in close distance of each other or we’re just passing by. And also, it says we’ve arrived before we actually do. Please, can you make the 50ft, 75ft, 100ft proximity choices happen. If you could do that you can get 10+ STARS from “ME”!! Thank you 🙏🏽

Reoccurring problems where GPS shows family members jumping up to a mile away and back several times at night when they are actually home (verified). iPhone battery life is greatly impacted by this app. Otherwise, it’s a good app and works as advertised. But if the phone battery level is low, then the app doesn’t track activity.

I love this app I have my daughter that just started high school, parents and brother. If one of us is traveling we can check making sure they get to there destination. And I can see when my daughter leaves and arrives from school. Mainly got the app to check where my parents are since they live in California and I in Arizona. Always worried in case of an earthquake I wouldn’t know where they are and know I can check where they where at if anything ever happens.

There’s some good qualities about this app but then it doesn’t complete the task. Ie., Driver report but no way to download to excel or email it. Customer service suggested I take snapshots .... that’s a time consuming archaic way to get data. I will give it 5 stars once they work out a few bugs.

Be perfect app except lags way to much!

Started to say that a user left the house and was down the road when they were just in the next room over. A lot of the time it happened in the middle of the night too at like 2-3am. Scared the c*** outta me getting an alert at that time saying my daughter left home, went to check and she was sleeping on her bed. Also one of the places I have pinpointed for an alert so I know when the kids are almost home so I can head to bus stop does not work every time.

I only use the basics of the app but it's great for knowing where a certain someone is and seeing approximately how far away they are. The alerts for when the get to and leave work are great!

I love how the app shows the person/group moving and not just saying in one place. It’s super accurate, and I find that very helpful !!

I use this app to check on my 17 year old son who newly acquired his drivers license AND my 87 year old father who refuses to give up his. Neither are very familiar with driving in the area and having an app that not only tells me where they are but provides directions to reach them is outstanding!! I’m much less stressed when they’re on the road. I highly recommend this app in its free version. However I do think the premium version is ridiculously priced. I won’t be getting that unless the cost comes down.

I have used this app for more than a year now, and in the beginning I was really satisfied with it. But recently, I’ve been getting my account wiped. I was in 4 circles, but when I log back on a few hours later, all my circles are gone. My friends did not kick me out of the circle, so I do not know why this is happening to me. I’ve tried to find some explanation on the internet as to why this happens, but I’ve had no luck. It’s very frustrating and annoying because this happened to me 4 times already. I uninstalled it 2 times, but my circles still get deleted for no reason. I’m very disappointed. I hope Life360 can fix this issue.

Hope you never need to find someone in an emergency, this app rarely tells you where someone is when traveling, as if it’s GPS just stops working, it’s literal only job. Absolutely terrible.

Really love this Ap. My husband and I are in the process of moving to CA with our 6 month old. He is driving across the country with our dogs while I fly with our son. This ap has been wonderful peace of mind to be able to see where each other are at without having to use our phones while the other is driving. I don’t have to call or text to see where he’s at, I can just look and see he’s alright/how far away, and vice versa. Especially with being in a new state, it’s extremely nice to be able to locate each other to stay connected and safe as a family ♥️ My friend also uses this with her stepdaughter who just started driving as well. Very accurate with locations and addresses. Really cool ap for families. Highly recommend!

I use this daily to track my teens whereabouts! It allows me to see exactly where he is at any given point and I love that I can name the location so I easily know without scouring the map

Yesterday I was in an accident and my boyfriend I pay for premium however I didn’t get any call, my boyfriend didn’t receive any call that I had been in a crash, life360 weren’t the ones to send emergency assistance or a tow truck, everything else with this app is fairly alright however that was very upsetting, we got it to ensure my safety as a fairly new driver and I was in a very serious accident and no one was even alerted!!

There are many options available to keep track so you know your family is safe. I know when they leave, arrive, and if something is wrong. Great app.

I think it’s an awesome app and it’s extremely accurate. It doesn’t wear on your battery but I believe it’s worth it.

I like this app but I have not been given any response to 2 emails I have sent. I paid for the year full Life360 Driver Protect Plus but the app isn’t showing that and not letting me use those features. I have emailed twice and have not received any response. I either want the app to reflect my purchase or my money returned. Thank you

I downloaded this app as a way for my mom to know when I got home from school so she wouldn’t have to text me while I was in school. My location was accurate so far...until today. I look on the app just because, and my location was very inaccurate. It said I was in a place I’ve never been before, not even close to the location I was currently at. So I tried to exit the app wait a few seconds and see if it would reload to my current location, but it just made my Location farther away than the last! I really like the concept of this app. I just hope that they fix this issue because this could be very dangerous in certain situations. Please fix this and maybe you might get a perfect rating ☺️

As a Husband, father of 11 and a Law Enforcement professional this helps me keep a piece of mind. And I can’t tell you how many times it has been a literal “Life saver” to my family and I.

I installed the app to test the location of my 14-year-old daughter. Yesterday, during school hours, I looked at the app that showed my daughter was in a completely different place. She can not answer the phone and that has driven me crazy. I wondered how my daughter was on the other side of town? She would never do that! So before I called the police, I decided to take a deep breath and call the school. She had not left, and her phone (obviously) was in her purse. This app almost caused me a heart attack. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Love love loved this app. Then we got my son a new phone and number. Must have been Maria’s old number. Able to easily log into her account and track her family, and her family track my son. Have tried many different ways to contact the company. I receive messages back that they can not respond to requests right now.

The free version of this app does quite well and locating your loved ones.

We’ve had this app for about a year now and recently the location services have been terrible! Showing members in our family circle in bizarre locations — in places they were nowhere near and slow to no updates for hours on end.

I’m on the paid subscription because I want to know where my teenager is, but have had a few glitches where he is with me along with his phone and it shows he is across town. He could have potentially been in a lot of trouble if I hadn’t known the truth. Luckily for all of us we are aware now, but hopefully they will fix this flaw. Other than that it has provided a lot of peace of mind knowing where my son is.

Auto charged for free trial subscription! $69.99 will be charged for driver protect, why? My wife clicked on app & put in her email and it gave her a code to invite so I accepted then we got the email that said we signed up for the driver protect! Our friends use the app for free with the option to purchase if they want to. Why was i auto selected for driver protect?

I’ve had multiple problems with this app. First, it will alert you that someone in your circle has arrived home when they were actually home the whole time so we are literally watching the door for a ghost to come. Second, the times dont add up. Essentially, the places and time stamps cut off. There will be times when the individual cannot be located and they didnt do anything to prevent their location from coming up. Overall, if you are going to put an app with a certain purpose makes sure that purpose follows through or take it off until it does what it is suppose to. This app has ruined relationships and practically my whole life. Take it off!

The app works fine and all but honestly it kills your kids life because you can always see where they are and how fast they are driving. You can see if they are on their phone while driving. You can even see if they speed up really fast or even stop harshly. I would not recommend this app to ANYONE.

Love that it tells me when my family arrives home safely

I added this app simply for safety at the request of my daughter. We live over 500 miles apart and it takes about 9 hours driving. Just a short couple weeks ago I was in PA while Hurricane Florence hit my area of SC. I knew there was a short window of opportunity between the rains and the flooding. We knew I95 would close before I, by myself, could safely drive so that forced me on a 848 mile 15 hour 7 states drive to get home. I did great until I got within 15 miles of my home. The rains started to come down heavily and nighttime was setting in. My husband could see exactly where I was using this app and he on my speakerphone. He literally was telling me in 3 streets make a left. 2 streets, next street. He had called the county to see which roads were open. It gave me a peace knowing I was not alone. He guided me safely home. So thank you for developing this wonderful app.

We have a daughter in college and a son in JH. This app is wonderful! I can check in on my kids and have the piece of mind that they are safe and where they should be😁 I have recommended this app to several of our friends with kids in high school and many are now using it as well.

I downloaded this app two weeks ago because my daughter started riding her daycare van to and from school. I found this app and thought It’d be great to track her whereabouts and put my mind to ease knowing that she’s made it to school safely. Anyway the app worked great for about two weeks, it alerted me when she arrived at school, when she left school, and when she safely made it to the daycare. About two weeks in, the app no longer alerted me, and every time I checked it said my daughter could not be located. Which freaked me out at first until I realized it was a glitch. I restarted our phones, refreshed everything and still didn’t work. I gave it a few days and it never corrected itself the app never knew where me or my daughter were again. Our gps was turned on, location on I don’t know what the issue was. It was very disappointing, I’m deleting it now, just wanted to leave my review.

This app is very handy & useful, I absolutely enjoy it!

Super helpful to know where someone is in order to gage timing on meeting up. Very accurate and the history is a nice feature as a way to backtrack our trip.

I installed this less than a week ago for my family of 4. 3 nights now it has told me on of my kids has left home around 1100pm. It gives addresses he is at all night with times he was there and then on to the next address. After the 2nd time I checked for updates and then deleted and reinstalled the app. It did the exact same thing tonight. I have gotten up to check and find both of my kids sound asleep while this app shows one of them bouncing around town all night. This app isn’t going to do me very much good if I ever need to use it.

I don’t who made this app but you have got to be the most ignorant person on this planet. You know good and well you told your parents you were going somewhere you weren’t when you were a 18 year old kid but no you had to ruin it for my generation. Absolutely pathetic.

This app was the best until our “introductory” period was over (I never knew there was an introductory period and believed that by purchasing the app I was to be the beneficiary of all its features forever). Once the “introductory period” was over the app became absolute crap. Locations weren’t accurate, there was no way to keep track of where my loved one was. My husband and I left the house together at the same time this morning at 7:00am, we work at the same place, and at 10:10 am I just got notified that he left home (three hours and 10 minutes later than he did). So buyer beware, you will be required to upgrade in order to enjoy the features of this app.

I was able to follow my niece and her 5 kids from Iowa to California! She broke down in Colorado and I could follow her progress with getting towed to a shop and safely to her hotel. I felt great comfort in knowing for sure that she was ok!!!!

I use this app all the time to know where my family is and where I left my phone — I can look at this using a family member’s phone. The battery status is great, as my daughter tends to deplete her battery when she travels with school and I can prompt her to stop watching videos etc and save battery for communication (which is why we bought her a phone, right?).

Helps with a peace of mind when you have kids that are new drivers

We love the app. But it recently started telling me people are leaving when they haven’t left and are at a location they are not at. It will also tell me the person left two places at the same time, no where near each other.

It’s so nice knowing where my family is and where they are gonna be home. I check this app many times a day. it’s so convenient and very accurate!

Since the 9/26 update my location is coming up unknown and gps location is off by at least 200 ft. This is very annoying. It is also happening on my wife’s phone.

I follow my mom because she has cancer and still drives. I located her and it showed she was at a trailer park. She wasn't! She was at Walmart Market on Oak Grove Road in Poplar Bluff, MO! They tore down that trailer park 3 years ago.

Please add an Apple Watch app! Until then I’m using Find Friends by Apple. We’re looking forward to further development with Life 360. It’s a great start, but not a complete experience yet.

At first this app was amazing! But over the last two-three months it has stated that I have stopped places when I never stopped! or arrived at places later then what I actually did! It has caused problems between me and my boyfriend because of its inaccuracy! This app needs to fix its accuracy on the location problem. Done with this app. It’s caused to many problems

I have been using this app for about 6 months. It’s great most of the time, I can see my family on a map. Wife at work, kids at school, and me at the shop. But recently I got a notification showing my daughter in a field out of town about 2 miles from where she should be, I killed the app, cleared my cache, and reopened. Same location for her... I became more concerned. In the end it was just an app glitch. Then today I got another motif. She was in another town about 1 Mile from school, I refreshed, restarted, reset... still same issue. I watched as the little marker that should show my daughter in Spanish class, said she was walking down a neighborhood street, I waited a. VERY LONG 15 minutes, hoping to see the dot back at the high school but never did. Finally I called school and spoke with a friend of mine, she agreed to go check, and fortunately, my daughter was in class with iphone. This has to be corrected soon. The idea is awesome and the app is good overall, it helps me locate my family daily, so 3 stars for now and I’ll add two if they respond with resolution.

I always know where my daughter is. It eases me a little more knowing I can see where she is, how much battery life she has and she can check in and let me know when she has made it somewhere.

In our family group we have members that don’t have updated locations for hours at a time. It says they’re home and they are not. I have tried to use the refresh button but it just sends me a message saying they can’t be found.

I love getting the alerts on my phone and my kids are leaving school and coming home and also when we are commuting it’s just invaluable to have this kind of information

Love this app! It’s nice to have with teens! Love that I can monitor my child’s speed and keep up with where she is.

Life 360 is a blessing! Because of this app, my teen gains more independence while I feel secure knowing she is where she says she is. She knows that I can see where she is. This keeps her honest. I don’t need to monitor her 24/7 because the app does this and records her steps/driving/speed. It is wonderful!

I’ve had the app for about a year and love it. It’s accurate 98% of the time. I used the free version for the first year and added the pay portion to add more monitored locations since my kids are now getting to more places on their own and I like the automatic notifications. I’ve recommended it to at least 10 people who all like it too.

I love this app! When my 16 yr old son, who is a good kid, started being tempted to test boundaries... I put this app in our phones. It helped keep him stay honest and on track, not to mention the best part... We all know that we are safe in our travels ( which are extensive). If any of us are ever in need of assistance, we know exactly how to get there. It also makes reports on what his driving habits are!! He drives like a grandma... my husband, not so much!!

Life360 is incredibly disgusting and absolutely unacceptable to use with your family members and friends. If you think you need to use this app to help “protect” your children you’re wrong. It’s to feed into your extreme control needs.

I love this app but last week’s update was horrible. All of my notifications are late and the app has completely drained my battery. Had my phone in my purse and didn’t touch it for five hours. Went from 100% to 38% and all of the background activity was Life360 and like 10% was a mixture of normal apps like Snapchat, maps, and texts. I’ll have to delete the app because my phone can’t even make it through three hours of normal use. I had a twenty minute phone call and it went from 70 something to less than 20%

Feel safe that my kids are protected in case of a crash. Just need an Watch app to complete it.

Although I appreciate the app showing me a general location for my teenagers, I upgraded to the premium version when my son started driving and riding with other teen drivers to track his speed. However, the speed reported by the app isn’t accurate and often is incorrect. The other day, I watched his speed from the passenger seat and when the app updated and completed his drive, it was off by more than 12 mph.

We have used this app for many years with our 3 kids. They knew to have a phone meant Life 360 would always be ON! It’s so awesome to be able to look on the map and see where everyone is..no more worrying. It also has come in handy MANY times when I’ve been lost in Los Angeles and my husband could see exactly where I was and help me find my way. We will NEVER be without it! One night my teenage son broke down on the freeway at 1 AM. He was scared and had no idea where he was but we were still able to get his exact location and send immediate help. With 3 teenagers we have many similar stories...we love LIFE 360! PS..my son is now 27 and married and uses it with his wife. Thank you for an awesome APP!

This is a great app for your family. We have 3 of our children driving and 1 is away at college. It’s a great way to know that they are getting from point A to B safely!

This is a wonderful way to keep up with elderly parents and teenagers without constantly calling and texting them. They can alert you if they have car trouble, get lost or even pin point a lost phone. Peace of mind is great. I use the free plan right now, but if my kids were a couple of years younger I would gladly pay for the extras. As it is, I can see where they are, get short driving reports and know if they need help!

The gps feature on the app was amazing until just a couple of months ago. I’m not certain what changed, but I’ve had to apologize to my teen when they prove where they are with FaceTime because the app has them somewhere else.

My street name is wrong. Needs a name update

When I first got this app or year and a half ago because my daughter started driving it was great. I got the upgraded version, & everything worked perfect... just like it had explained in the app. Over time we’ve had issues of it not working, saying that they are in different places than they really are, not updating. We’ve had to delete it off of our phones and then re-download it several times in the last 6–8 months. I feel as much as you pay a year(for the upgrade) that it should work correctly @ least 90-95% of the time. I have friends that have the regular version… And there’s works all the time. It doesn’t give you as much information or update you to exactly what’s going on when they’re driving. But either is the upgraded version most of the time so why spend the extra money.

Location wasn’t working well and very unreliable!! It said I left work several times when I never did !! Location has a very wide range it says I arrive when I am blocks away !! Support is not very good all they said was turn your phone off and on!!! It good to play with for free but I would recommend nit paying for the service !!!!!

This app is very accurate. It is so accurate you can even see someone driving down the road. I also like it that you can zoom in and see the satellite view without changing the view. I like this app a lot better than the iPhone Find Friends App.

Have tried a few of these family locators and Life360 is very good so far. Would recommend it to others.

It's keeping everyone in group connected in the real time

Great app but the locations are not always accurate and do not always update until afterwards. If you look back at drive history, one drive is broke up into many different segments even when the user didn’t stop for a period of time. If these issues were corrected then it would be flawless in my opinion

This app is absolutely superb & have no major issues. However, I am unable to access Notification Center & control center within the app. I don't know if this is a bug or if It's deliberate but either way it's very annoying. It'd be awesome if there could be an update allowing access to those two iOS functions.

I have noticed an anomaly in the locations and times at locations since the recent update. Locations are not as accurate as they were prior to the update. And, times are off/ delayed. We had 2 family members in the same room in our home and the app listed 2 different streets for them! This app is a fabulous idea for safety, which is our reason for trying/ using it. Yet, with location accuracy now significantly diminished, I am hesitant to upgrade to pay for the service.

For the first few days of installing, the app did well. Now at critical times of the night when I want to ensure that my daughter has reached home, the app doesn’t update for several hours, and even the check in request doesn’t work. How to make the app work reliably? So much is at stake for the safety of family members. I don’t mind paying subscription if the app can work reliably

Was a great app with paid subscription but over the past month it so the app has become less accurate, showing phones to leave an area when the phone was stationary. Have contacted support over this multiple times and still no fix or update.

I have had this app with my family circle for about 1.5 years. The ability to know my grandson’s location as well as my senior sister have given me peace of mind. If my sister is going out, I know when she has returned home. If my grandson says he is at a friends or taco belle I can confirm that. I cannot recommend this app highly enough for parents, grandparents and loved ones and friends. Love it!

We shared up front with our sons that it was safety and peace of mind that we were seeking. Just last night I was able to confirm that my college son arrived at school safely without bugging him. The fact that we can review travel including top speeds is a deterrent before they even get behind the wheel. Thanks for a great tool in my parenting tool belt!

Locating my child. Location cannot be found. Cells are on, low power mode is off. Cell tower is 1/2 mi away from both of us. Installed latest update but didn’t help. Time is of the essence. No time to delete and reinstall. So much for useful big fixes.

It’s a wonderful App for families so that we know the locations where we are. However, after updating my iPhone to new iOS 12, the battery life becomes shorter, one of the issue is the app refreshing at background. Unfortunately The Life360 is the ONLY app refreshes at background even though I turn off the function “Background App Refresh”. Hopefully it will have some improvement on battery control in next version.

The app was perfect! Just until the most recent update now it doesn’t update the persons location, even if I try to refresh it.

I was in a bus fire accident back in november 2017 and this app alerted my family at 2am that i was in an accident. Very good for keeping up with your family especially for communting from one place to another like from school, work to home. Even good for driving trips.

This app is way too much. It’s unhealthy. There is no need for someone to track your every single move, the speed you go, and much more unnecessary features this app provides. The premium package is even crazier since it goes more into depth about what you can track. You can see literally everything. This isn’t an exaggeration. Overprotective parents will go crazy with this kind of stuff and it will ruin kids lives because their every move is being tracked. Parents, by tracking your kid’s every move, they can’t learn to be independent and it’s sad. This app should be deleted. There are already enough ways for tracking, such as “Find my Friends” which just gives the general location of where the person you are tracking is. That’s all you need! This app is nonsense. Can someone please get this app shut down?

This is a really fun app, to see where your friends are.

As a mother I am worried if my children are safe. I am able to see when they arrive at a destination or are heading home. When the weather is bad, I feel safe watching their travels. I was worried they might think I was stalking them but really, it’s all about knowing they are safe. It also helps that I don’t have to text them asking where they are and annoy them. Likewise, I know they can keep track of me in case anything happens the older I get! And on a humorous note, it helps that I can’t fib when I’m out shopping for hours at the mall! I know I can always turn it off but what would the fun be?!?

For this app to open for more than 7 days will I have to pay like a subscription?

Used to work perfectly fine. Now I have to keep the app open and frequently hit the Refresh symbol to make sure it’s updating because it won’t on its own. I’ve had to call the person to make sure they’re leaving and then the app updates their location when they’re already five minutes away the location I wanted to be notified about. Even with the monthly subscription this drop occurred.

as a teenager who has always obeyed my parents rules, having this app implemented on me has absolutely ruined my trust in and frankly respect for my parents it tracks your every move and takes away any sense of independence. if you get this app please talk to your child about it. respect how they feel about it. also, for those of you thinking this app is helping your kid be safer and whatnot, know that kids are going to find ways around anything, including the restrictions of this app. forcing them to download this app will only encourage rebellion.

This app has great pinpoint location and with today’s technology is great that it does have messenger build in ! Are used to use Google maps sharing which is good as well but is not up-to-date as fast and anybody can be on it as long as a plug in a Gmail on any phone this particular app would let you know

Best app I have ever used. Had a bad car accident a week ago and 360’s crash detection team responded quicker than onstar and they notified emergency services before any bystanders could. A+++ Also let’s us know when our teenager is speeding and using the phone while driving. Just wish it could differ between voice calls and texting while driving, other than that it’s a wonderful app.

This app is great except for the fact that it says it's in the free section of the AppStore and it's not free. After one year of use I was getting charged monthly/yearly a large amount. I'm not going to use a product that says it's free and turn around and be lied too by getting charged money I don't have. Works great but it's a lie.

Best ‘stalker’ app ever. Don’t have to worry about kids, car accidents, missed calls. Can just check in and see where they are.

Allows you to keep an eye on your loved ones. Provides information on routes, speed driven, impact notification, distance away from you, etc... The satellite imagery shows you where they are in real-time which give you peace of mind when waiting on your teenage children to come home from a night out. Love it!

I love this app! But recently I started having the same issue as Ramirez! One of my phones is leaving my house around 1 am and coming back at 6:30 am. My family members are in bed and the phone is on the charger. I find this rather concerning as with a house full of young adults, I’d love to know if they are sneaking out but they are not. How do I fix this or has someone hacked into this phone through your app? And today my sons phone has been to three different place while I know he’s at school.

It’s been working well until the past week and it keeps reporting random night trips to places no one has gone to for 1 of the 3 members in our family circle. Actual times and routes are plotted of trips that NO ONE took. Not cool. At all. Will be promptly switching service. Will never recommend.

My daughter has a wreck last night. Instead of alerting me she was in an accident it stopped tracking her 2 miles before she wrecked.

This is a great tool to see how the family is doing without calling and distracting them while they are on the road. I love it!

My dad was t-boned at a major intersection yesterday. I knew he was in an accident but I didn’t know where. I pulled up his location and tapped “Get Directions”. Life 360 took me straight to him, and I was able to be there with him when he needed me. Thank you Life 360!

As a parent I just want to make sure my daughter is safe when she walks home from school by herself and this app makes that happen. Very pleased!

Yes, I get the whole entire point of this. But what do you do if you’re parents are over controlling to the point where you are not you’re own human anymore. This app is helpful but also probably used by so many toxic parents and relationships to be able to have “control” over everyone. This is just my opinion. For safety issues I agree 100% but people can use this to get to their head and also mess with others heads mentally in the long run.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS APP!!! This is THE MOST Important app to have! If you or a loved one have ever worried about a friend or family member traveling alone, THIS IS A MUST! Super easy to setup and it’s very accurate!!

I signed up for the basic back in May. But now the app says plus. Was I charged? I’m temporarily using an iPhone and tried to email support. But the browser is not support. Soon I will have my android back. Was I charged for the plus?

Great app but seems to get the addresses wrong and claims the other members are home before they are all the way home by a few blocks. Otherwise it’s pretty cool, just not 100% accurate.

App tells me my kids are leaving throughout the night. Their phones are in our office and they are asleep in bed. The free version is a joke. I do like the feature that I can see my kids battery life though!

As of the last two updates they did it DON’T work. I will be home with my kids and it will go off saying they left home. Then when they are out it will say home. Just not reliable! We have tried everything that was suggested on all phones but still don’t work. As I write this my kids can’t be located.

Great app but how do I change it from kph to mph?

I wouldn’t recommend this app to anybody. I originally made my daughter put the app on her phone because it used to drive me nuts not being able to know where she was or who she was with. But after I put it on her phone, things were never the same. We had a very close relationship but ever since I put it on there, she’s hated me and has barely talked to me the past 5 months. Even on her birthday, she refused to celebrate it with me because she felt as if she was “a prisoner” in my “jail cell”. And honestly she’s right. This app isn’t mean’t for safety. It’s mean’t for control.

I have a friend group on this app and it doesn’t give me accurate information. I’ve deleted the app and logged out multiple times it still doesn’t work very disappointing!

I can know when my mom is going to pick me up from school

This is a great way to keep up with your loved ones (especially teens). Knowing where everyone is(and how fast they drove to get there) offers a great deal of security and peace. My kids safety is the main reason I use this app, especially at night when they are out late. I love this app.

I love this app! But recently I started having the same issue as Ramirez! One of my phones is leaving my house around 1 am and coming back at 6:30 am. My family members are in bed and the phone is on the charger. I find this rather concerning as with a house full of young adults, I’d love to know if they are sneaking out but they are not. How do I fix this or has someone hacked into this phone through your app?

I’m not sure what is going on with this app. It worked well for a few days (maybe 2 weeks), now it is not. My son is at school and his phone stays in his backpack (school policy), several times a day I get alerts that he left school and is at random places in the neighborhood. Last night he had his phone in the house and it was telling me he was at school.... it was after the app FINALLY showed him at home hours after he got there. This is stressing me out thinking something is wrong or he is not where he is supposed to be. Unless this is fixed quickly, I will looking for a another tracking app.

I love this app. I told my parents about this app and I immediately add my parents. The drawback are it consumes a lot more battery and the other is that it doesn’t have an Apple Watch complication. I dream about seeing a life 360 mini icon on my Apple Watch to check in without the need of taking my iPhone out of my purse. Other than that this app is the best to look after our loved ones, so accurate and helpful

Every parent that has a child driving needs to have this app. It is phenomenal & so accurate. My daughter recently got her license & this helps me correct mistakes she is making to help her become a better driver. I use it daily & absolutely love it. I highly recommend it!

I'm a 16 year old boy forced to download this app and I feel like it takes away all the trust in my family. Anytime I get home, my parents ask unreasonable, s***** questions like "why did you stop at this gas station for 10 minutes?!" and "why did you stay 10 minutes after school?!." And many, many more questions even after I told them where I was going and what I was going to do. WARNING: app ruins and fun you could have in your later childhood._ my parents didn't have this app or even electronics when they were kids and turned out just fine. I literally cant do anything anymore without being asked 100 questions either when I get home, or one of my parents calling me WHILE I'M DRIVING!!
