Can’t even look at pics of your “match’s” with out having to pay. Then unless you get 12 month subscription it’s nearly $30-$40 a month. Wayyyy to many questions to answer bout urself and your preferences. COMPLETE TRASH
tinkful's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 9/3/18 9:54 AM
My first time paying for a dating app and decided to join eharmony as the ads make them seem as the best choice. I have not seen anyone that I’m interested in as the guys I’m matched with are not my type. You send people questions or a smile and crickets. I have noticed many inactive accounts being sent as matches.I joined because I am serious about meeting someone but I think this was a waste of time and money.

ScottytheMenace's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 9/3/18 5:02 AM
Very sketchy app. They make you sign up before they give you any pricing information, don’t tell you what you can do with a paid subscription that you can’t do without one, and they have two 12 month plans with no description of what the differences are even though one is nearly twice the cost of the other. Why not just provide full information? What are you hiding? My guess is they force you to create a profile first and then slap you with the outrageous cost so they can artificially boost their membership, since most people will bail after thy find out how much it costs. Pretty sketchy.

This was a waste of time and money wish I had spent the money on match maybe that would of been better. It’s like an overrated tender that cost me to much money. Wish they had like a free trial because now I’m stuck with the app for three months.
somefrickenniclnamenottakenyet's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 9/28/18 12:44 PM
Two years and a couple of heartbreaks later, kind of over priced for what you get. Very limited amount of “matches” to choose from, and often they live hours away. The so called compatibility profiling is far from accurate which is easy to tell by simply reading the first couple lines in your “matches” profile. Sorry eHarmony. I’m not looking for fast, but don’t want to pay for a second rate service forever either.

AramYFlor's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 9/27/18 12:04 AM
Hi all. I am 40 years old I was super busy super content and had managed to have some idea of who I was. I wanted to see if there was someone out there for me. It was not that I needed a relationship, but that I felt my life was so good I definitely wanted to share it with some. I was looking for a real relationship by real I mean one that might last a while and romantic one and a healthy one. I was too busy to go to bars and nightclubs and other social events where one might find their soulmate and they were plenty dating apps but most of them were strictly about physical chemistry and to use a today’s phrase hooking up. When I saw how detailed the questionnaire was it annoyed me but I quickly realize that nothing good in life comes easy and that if I wanted to have a high quality relationship maybe I need to invest some time. So I completed the profile I was as honest as I could be in though and behold after a bunch of coffee dates (which were getting very frustrating and paren because I felt like I was dealing with lookee loes ) I got an inbox from the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and I have seen many beautiful women. My membership had expired and I thought for sure this was just a teaser photo to get me to reengage. But I’ve come this far and I was curious so I sign back up and lo and behold the message was from who is soon to be my future wife. Will be in communication in March 2008. The first time I saw her in person was June 13, 2008 we both observed each other for a couple of months knowing that we have been matched by some algorithm and on August 15, 2008 I proposed by October 3, 2008 amir for months after we first met we were married. We have been married for 10 years and it is an amazing marriage one that we don’t have to fight to keep. One that has me smiling every morning when I wake up and every night when I come home from work. I must say I am very lucky and I also know that eHarmony is process who is paramount in me locating my queen who is living 800 miles away. Do you think I could’ve never met her I believe I’ve been looking for for eternity and eHarmony help me finally find her. Flor and I are very grateful to eHarmony and we wish everybody the same joy luck and success that we have. Amount of energy that we spend trying to find the right one is in sane. Take a chance beyond your profile and see what God and the universe has for you good luck!!! Aram

I’ve been on this site for three months and I’ve gotten ZERO matches! Way more dates and connections from the free ones.(Bumble and Tinder) on those sites the ladies actually talk to you when you start a conversation. Plus there really isn’t much of a selection on this site either. It’s like all the “left overs” from the free sites. Maybe their expectations are all too high now?! Don’t know. All I can say is I was recommended this site and there’s nothing but disappointment.

DO NOT PAY FOR THIS SITE! I wish I would have read the reviews before paying for this service. Their reviews are so bad customer service doesn’t even bother replying to them anymore! The site is absolutely horrible and the customer service is WORSE!!! If I could give this site less than one star I would I give it negative stars!!! The communication between users is god awful, the way the site is set up, they do not encourage people to actually start up a conversation and only send weird awkward smiles. None of my “matches” were people of interest at all. Their matching algorithms are terrible! The customer service is the worst, and do not expect any sympathy from them if you need a refund after only 4 days of nothing but dissatisfaction!!! I have never been more disappointed in a dating site than I have been with eharmony in the last 5 days. WARNING!!! STAY AWAY FROM EHARMONY!!! They won’t let you see photos or talk to people or really do anything useful on their site, and that is how they trick you into paying for it! But beware, it’s all a huge scam to get You to pay and become locked into a contract. TRY MATCH.COM! Their general format is way more user friendly and the the people actually start conversations!

I paid for 6 months and was not getting any matches. I wrote and was told wait it out. Wrote again and told the same thing. Wrote and asked for money back as i am pretty sure I’m seeing inactive profiles. They said the time period is pasted. When they were the ones telling me to wait. It’s a waste save your money. Inactive profiles and no one responds plus the matches that they give me. I asked no smoking very important and i get smokers suggested with 99% match. Get real. Stay away

Meg and Bay's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 9/22/18 1:55 AM
For the amount of money and laundry of questions, you’d think someone creating the matching algorithms would have an idea of how comparability works. The pool of men are also either desperate or so strange. There are glaringly obvious reasons they are single. I joined because I am too busy and rarely have time to mingle in the real world. Now all I have done is lost even more faith in humanity, lost valuable time, and $139. Seriously... craigslist or tinder gives you better options.

This app only seems to match me with people 100 miles away. When I called to request that they provide me with closer matches they told me that isn’t available at this time. They seem to not care that dating someone outside my state does not work for me. You are much better off using a free dating app. Most people on eHarmony use other sites so the dating pool really is the same. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I enjoy eharmony. You receive many matches, depending on your preferences, and eharmony screens for scams and fake profiles. I enjoy that fact very much!
ScottytheMenace's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 9/18/18 3:30 AM
In the two weeks between creating my profile and subscribing, eharmony sent me 70 matches. Since subscribing I’ve seen exactly one. Worse, they only let you see people that they send you. You can’t search for yourself. Really? Of course they have their algorithm (quote, “where all the magic happens” [eye roll]) but it’s not that great, tbh. Only 50 of the 71 matches they’ve sent were even what they call “compatible,” and most of those didn’t even match my “very important” criteria. Why they send me non-compatible matches or consider someone as a match that doesn’t meet my very important criteria — and not let me search for myself — is beyond me. It’s fine that eHarmony has their matching system, but it’s just arrogant for them to think that it’s so marvelous that they don’t have to let you search for people yourself. Cue the response about how they’re different and do it to provide a great user experience. Sorry, but different doesn’t mean better, and not letting me determine for myself who’s a good match is not a good experience at all. I’ve got one day left in my cancelation period. I’ll probably cancel since I don’t know how it could get any better.
Harryc88's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 9/17/18 1:53 AM

Yeah this DOES ask a lot of questions to give you a decent match... but you have to pay to be able to text someone or even SEE THEM!!! I understand that they have to make their money someone how but for the love of Christ make something ELSE need a subscription. Being able to message each other is a very important part of starting a relationship and not being able to do so makes this app freaking useless.

Every single match I received from eharmony was with a man that was 5’3 or someone that was nowhere near what I found to be physically attractive nor had anything interesting to say. Customer service refused my request for cancellation and I am forced to pay for the remainder of my subscription while cringing and dry heaving to every match they continue to send me. You can’t browse on your own because they insist their computer generated matchmaking “scientific” formula is fool proof and is better than your personal preferences. Who care about your personal preferences, right? I understand physical attraction is only one factor in finding the right partner, but it is also an important factor. This goes out the window completely at eharmony. I will never join eharmony again and will warn others against it.

I spent at least a half hour answering questions and by the time I was done I didn’t care anymore. Then I get a pop up about paying, standard so I skip it. Then I already have 6 matches. Wow, that was fast. As I waited for the pic of the person to become clear I realized I have to pay to see the person. Nope. That’s not the way it should work. If you want to spend your money on this, go for it, but read other reviews on that first.

I wanted to get a better experience than what I got on the free dating app so I bought a membership. This is a joke. The app is horrible and the matches are junk. They don’t go by preference. I am 35 male and the are matching me with 50 year old women or 18 year olds what is that. I wish I could get my money back since this is the worst app. Stick with the free ones you will have better luck.

In purchased a six month package and went on ONE date. And he moved three hours away! I’ve tried multiple dating apps & have had a lot more success there. I thought paying more would mean better success. Complete waste of money. I rarely had a new “match”, and the excuse was because I wouldn’t “expand my distance”. But I don’t want to start something with anyone who lives 500 miles or more away!! Ridiculous! Unless you live in a highly populated area, this site is NOT for you. Save your $ This was a complete disappointment
BeachPrincess25's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 8/5/18 9:09 PM
I downloaded this app thinking a paid dating app would have better outcome then the free ones I have tried in the past. After spending about 20 minutes answering all the match questions and selecting a profile picture they match with people based on your and their answers. Not even 2 minutes after creating my profile I got a message and a smile. I honestly don’t see how I would get messaged that quick since it was late at night too. I thought it would have a cheaper subscription options then 129.99 to up to 349.99. This app should at least offer a one week free trail to see if this is something I would like or not. So needless to say I wasn’t paying. I continued to get several messages so I turned off the send me new match option. People should not be able to send messages to accounts that haven’t paid. I tired permanently erasing my account but there’s no option for that in settings. So I had to email them to erase my account. Another flaw of this app is that you set a radius for distance and it sent me matches of people who are at least 400 miles away.
eharmonyistrash's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 8/5/18 7:21 PM
I would like to begin by stating I have never taken the time to leave a negative review for anything- however, eharmony is so terrible it warrants my first time ever negative review, and if giving it a 0/5 were possible I would. First I’ll review billing and then I’ll review the actual app/service. Billing: So eharmony forces you to enroll into a continuous (and grossly overpriced) subscription that you must manually cancel. They don’t send any confirmation when they are billing the next period. I thought I canceled. After not using the service for 6 months I saw it on my credit card statement so I called. They refunded me one bill of $60 but would not refund me the remaining $170 that had been automatically drafted when I hadn’t even been using the site. They said “according to the terms you agreed.” BUYER BEWARE! Make sure your subscription was canceled or you are out of luck. The product: also terrible. You have to subscribe to even see the picture of who you’re matched with. I live in a very well populated area and was still hardly matched to anyone so I broadened my area search but it made no difference. I’m addition, it offers you dating preferences but even if you put something as an exclusion it still matches you with those people. All around awful. In conclusion, I cannot rate eharmony low enough. It’s a company that looks to take advantage of the lonely and uses sneaky billing practices to steal every last dollar from you. Use match, it’s cheaper and you actually meet a few people within the same state as you.
UDBassist's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 8/5/18 2:00 PM

I was on this app for a few months I was very disappointed they weed out the people to late. A lot of fake accounts people begging for money they’re stuck in another country or they ask me to join some site to watch them strip and play with them self. The match’s I do get are to stuck up they say one thing on their profile but it’s a lie. I regret using this app and wish I could get my money back but all they can do is give me a month for free like that’s going to make anything better I waisted my time and money. Those are 2 things I will never get back.

Hello So I downloaded the app. I have not paid for the subscription. I been getting a lot of smile and emails. Before deciding to purchase, I started reading the reviews. So far not good. Now I don’t want to purchase a full 3 months. Eharmony: I think it’s best for you to do a 1 month for at least 50$. That seems reasonable. Its better to make money than not to. After reading all these comments. Too expensive to take a risk of all the negative feedback. I will not recommend it to my other 3 friends who’s interested.

I’m a guy. I’ve met, made friends, dated people from on here and I still use the site. On the other hand there are way too many fake and or fraud profiles (female profiles). Not sure why or how they are doing this but it becomes pretty obvious after you start to pick up on how they craft profiles and use certain type of pictures or other women. But to me it almost seems there are a lot of inactive accounts on here so it seems your getting matched to people when they are no longer active.

For me, without a doubt, this site is the best of what is out there. The in-depth profile and survey clearly yield effective matches. Every response has been polite and respectful, which is an added plus. It seems that the responses are all high quality people. It doesn’t hurt that I may also have found my partner for the rest of my journey after just one month on e-Harmony.

Might as well just pay for Match if you have to pay for a dating app. The guys only send you smiles and no one has messaged me back. For all of these people that eharmony claims are compatible with me I find that strange. It appears a lot of the profiles are inactive and/or fake, not sure if the smiles are system generated but no one responds. The whole app is a scam, I wish I could get a refund. At least with Match people actually message you back so you can go on dates, I met my last boyfriend on there.

Nap11102's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 8/21/18 1:42 PM
I was on eHarmony a few years ago, met someone from here so cancelled it, dated her for quite a bit, unfortunately things didn't work out (it happens in relationships) so after some time out, decided to come back since I thought I knew what to expect... Plus even while I was gone, my profile was in "frozen"status so all I had to do was "unfreeze" it and start accepting matches again and thought I'd start seeing some quality matches that I enjoyed before I was gone. At least that's what I thought. Boy was I wrong. I couldn't have been more wrong in my life. Clearly eHarmony made some changes within the past year and I'll tell you, not in a good way at all. I'll explain so that you know you wouldn't spend a penny. Yes, it did work in the past and I fully believe the success stories, I even personally know a few personally from eHarmony. But unfortunately, those days are long gone. I'll explain what happened. What eHarmony set apart from the other dating app/website in the past was how selective it was. They used to make people answer over 100 questions to weed out people who are not serious or people who are fake. Almost 40% of people got rejected. And that was for a good reason. Their recent decision to do away with that selection process was a huge mistake and pandering to the tinder crowd did no favor to eHarmony. Here are the examples that I noticed as a result of this. 1. I've been seeing black women's pictures and on the profile, still says white. What's wrong with being black? I don't have a problem with black women but I have problems with liars. 2. I also came across profiles that were supposed to be "I have no kids" category, yet on the text, it says "I'm a mother of 2" etc.. Or I found out that the person has kids when the profile says she doesn't, after I started communicating. I asked her why and she told me that no guys would want her if she had told the truth. 3. Lying about the locations. It turned out that many of matches don't even live in the U.S. these days. What's up with this? I can tell you, when I originally joined, I never, ever saw such dishonest profiles because they were able to successfully weed out such people in the beginning. I know I'm not alone in this. There has been days when I said no to ALL matches in any given days for reasons above and that was never my experience at the earlier years. I don't know how they're going to fix this but as long as they continue pander to Tinder crowd, I can tell you, there would be no hope and I've already made a decision to leave this service after this subscription term, deleting all my profile with no possibility of returning unless they'd be willing to tell me some concrete steps to rectify this problem. They'd need to restore the vigorous selection process they used to have for sure. But probably they wouldn't. Then we all would be wasting our time and I would say your money would be wisely spent elsewhere.

WORST dating site!!!! Don’t waste your time or money! I’m not usually one to leave a negative review, but this was a disappointing, awful experience... hate that I wasted my money on it. Sad to say, but the free ones are better than EHarmony. Not worth your money!!

I was on eharmony for less than a week. My account was hacked and my pictures were taken as well as everything I had written in my profile. I could not find any way to contact the company, until I found a customer care email where a lady had posted the same problem I had. She never got her account back, never got a response, and never got a refund. I did get a response but it was so not helpful. I want the account that has my pictures found and closed and I want a refund. Find another way to meet someone. This isn’t it.

I was tired of the free apps and thought for sure this had to have better options. They don't! First scam....I could sample who was on it before paying into it I would NOT have signed up. Second scam....They purposely only allow you to see about 8 matches a day. Forcing you to stay on it longer before finding a good match. You can't even look at profiles without paying.
Anonymous913036's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 8/18/18 3:47 PM
$130 for three months. No matches and no way to delete the account. If I knew it was going to be this much money for such a pathetic service I would have never signed up. Would ask for a refund but I know there’s know way that will happen. Trying to delete my account but it keeps saying “add email to contact us” but there’s no way to do that. Please do not waste your money on this scam.

Every dating app is better than eHarmony. eHarmony gives the absolute worst "matches" that aren't even a match. Every single girl is an absolutely horrible suggestion. eHarmony knows nothing about harmony.

So I’ve just spent a little over a month on eharmony and got literally no where. At first I though okay maybe my profile needs work? Or maybe it’s my pictures maybe it’s that? So after lots of work and time spent on the app I got only one smile out of it all. So I called up eharmony to ask what’s going and as I’m on hold I’m noticing out of around the 50+ users I’ve been matched with only like 3-4 are online at all. So I asked them if they ever hide inactive profiles? Apparently they don’t. According to eharmony every paying users account stays active and viewable until their membership expires! So many of the profiles on this app are dead accounts and maybe a few are active. If your willing to wait through all that then this app has a lot to offer. Just remember that your not gonna get far or fast at all. Recommendation to the developer: -Hide inactive accounts! -Loss the last logged in dot • Replace it with a last logged in date • Or a check box that tells me if they’ve been on with in 72 hours. • Much more accurate, much less guess work. - Offer less expensive packages. Yes the pay to message keeps away the scammer and bots but not everyone can shell out $50-$100+ on this!

I had a great experience with eharmony. I met the man of my dreams. After meeting on the site we began dating. We’re now engaged and we’re getting married in October. I was scared to try online dating at first. After reviewing different dating sites, I choose eharmony because of how they use their questionnaire to match you with potential mates. I know that God used eharmony as a tool to bring me and my fiancé together.

Dead__Deal's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 8/13/18 1:18 AM
Absolutely loved the app setting it up however once I got it set up to see my messages or matches they want you to pay an astronomical amount for it. $140 some for 12 months and they want to take it out in one go... um no. You’d have a lot more people if they could pay month by month but they cannot. You can pay for 3 months, I think 6, then 9 and then 12. This is an okay app if it was not for how much money they are seeking. Definitely lost one user because I will be taking myself somewhere else.

Do women pay for this, too, or are they just the bait?? Why is it so expensive?? Online dating should never cost a thing, unless you meet someone in person and you’re a gentleman who pays for the date.

I came on here bc everyone told me people are more serious on here and I was hesitant but so far so good. I haven’t had an issue with matches and so far my matches have been responsive as I have exchanged numbers with two. As of now, seems worth it. I also think the number of matches depends on your location. I’m in the Bay Area so there is a huge population. I’ll update my review later after I’ve been on some dates.

dbowers07's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 8/11/18 11:24 PM
This review has more to do with the overall site/service than the app but I’m hoping a real person reads these reviews and passes on my suggestions: 1) There should be a way to tell if someone is a current subscriber. I am not asking not to be matched with non-subscribers but it’s frustrating to not know whose subscription is current and whose isn’t. The likelihood hood of meeting someone would be higher if we knew that someone was reading our messages. I have messaged people who have never looked at my profile...for years...and I assume they aren’t subscribed. I spend a lot of time trying to say something unique that shows I’m a real person to each match I message and it’s disappointing that most of my matches aren’t really using the site. 2) There should be an option to retake the personality test after 3-5 years or so...although I don’t think the personality test matters that much if your religious settings are set really tight—honestly I think then you get the others who also have really strict religious restrictions. But it would be nice to be matched more intentionally within the religious restrictions. 3) It’s really frustrating to have to “hide” then block matches that have blocked you. It already stings to have a match block you, but in the app you have to go thru this 2 step process to remove the blocked match. I think this is different on the site, but it’s irritating on the app. 4) The favorite option should be just for you to see (and not shared with matches...except perhaps the mutual favorites—that could work because then you know you’re both interested (too much like swiping right on Tinder? Who cares? That’s a model that seems to work...). I have so many matches (again...it’s highly unlikely we’re actually compatible) and Hines they all run together. I wish the favorite option acted more as a bookmark to remember viable matches. I don’t like that they know I’ve favorited them (I’ve never used it). Honestly it weirds me out, especially when someone favorites me but n e v e r contacts me. Add a bookmark option that’s just between you and the site. All in all, I still haven’t met The One but I come back to eharmony because I do appreciate that I can make sure I’m only getting matched who share my religious values. However I find it remarkably hard to believe there are hundreds and hundreds of men who are “compatible” with me (or surely I would have met someone in real life!)— perhaps send less matches and send current subscribers, as noted, for more success. I know people do meet their life partners on this site...but most don’t. Just keep that in mind when you sign up. AND hold out for the deals — don’t pay $30 a month for crying out-loud!!

Wasted my money in an app that has me lower my standards to the lowest to “find someone” fitted for me. I’m still waiting and all I attract is people who are not even in my standard level, or whom I can choose as a partner. I keep attracting teenagers and elderly men when I asked to speak with men my age. I have learned my lesson and will never waste money is something like this, specially if it’s long distance relations.

I was hoping to be able try out the app but the free app features are useless because you can’t see anyone’s face. I thought ok maybe I’ll pay for one month but the least amount you can do is 3 months at a time for over $100! I’m sorry that’s ridiculous for not knowing if this is going to be just the same Creepy guys that are on all dating sites. You guys should at least have like a real one week trial to see if people like it or not. I’m not so desperate as to pay that much money to meet someone on line.

Initially going into this site I thought that it would be a great idea. It has been a month since I have been on the site and have had 1 conversation. None of the men respond not even to say thank you but I’m not interested. This is supposed to be a reputable site but, I am find out they don’t have enough matches available for what I am compatible for. I sometimes get 1 match a day and the person doesn’t even live anywhere close to my location. I’m disappointed in this dating site.

I never thought I’d find anyone on any dating app because we don’t live in a big city however it happened. We now have a house together and 2 kids. My biggest advice stop trying so hard and let things happen. Go slow and have fun. Always work on bettering your communication together and never give up on love!!!

MorningSunrise64's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/29/18 3:09 PM
I have been on eharmony several weeks now and I have had zero dates... why you ask? Because there (according to eharmony) are NO compatible matches within a 60 mile radius of my city. I find that hard to believe! With the millions of single people out there signing up for eharmony each day there is not one man in a 60 mile radius of Nashville TN that is even a little compatible with me! The app tells me I am being to restricted in my location. Wants me to open a wider area. When I do I get plenty of guys in Georgia, Ohio, and Illinois!!! They are all great guys but they are 2 to 3 hours (one way) from me!!! Not exactly easy to get to know and date someone!! Right??? Since I have gone back to my 60 mile radius I have had a full week of either 1 match or no matches. I think it’s a scam. To get you to purchase more months. I (unfortunately) signed up for a year. By the looks of it I just got scammed.
preschool angel's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/29/18 10:03 PM
I have tried a variety of dating sites. This is probably my least favorite one! There are not enough matches! The matches I am getting are very few people in my age range and very few people within the area that are close enough for me to date. When I give an age range I expect matches in that agent not ten years older or younger. I am also. It going to be able to make a connection with someone who lives two stats away. I have been on this site for several months and have found no matches. I am very disappointed. I have had more luck with match.com, Tinder, bumble, and plenty of fish! The reasons I gave it more that one star is that the interface is easy to use and navigate. That being said the restrictions on being able to find a match given my specifications is frustrating. I don’t recommend this site.
Jinx0923's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/27/18 4:43 AM
The site limits the amount of ‘matches’ you receive at a time. Most live 100s of miles away or don’t exist anymore on the site. The site also crashes and is not always available, you’re paying for nothing at that point. Very disappointed!
LoyalCustomer143's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/26/18 6:54 PM
This site has nothing but bots, the same with MATCH and most of the other paid dating apps. I’m probably the most attractive guy on this site, so believe me when I tell you to save your hard earned cash. These people are giving you a false sense of hope. It’s only a matter of time before everyone catches on to that. If Eharmony cared about you actually meeting someone, they wouldn’t charge so much to begin with. They’re more concerned with making money and the best way to do that is to keep you paying for a subscription. Take heed of what I’m saying here because it’s the 100% truth.
NettyCC's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/26/18 12:21 PM
I send many smiles and messages, yet don’t receive many. And many of the matches are so far away. MD, NC, clear across the state of VA. Why would I want to connect to someone 2 1/2 hrs away?? You should have an additional category. Drop it down to 90 mile radius perhaps.
TwoSox4u's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/25/18 5:53 PM
Received an email that my eHarmony account had been compromised and it appears that there are vulnerabilities with in the eHarmony app that people can steal your information. Going forward anytime I use the app I’m going to make sure that I log out rather than staying logged in all the time. As for the eHarmony experienceIt is what it is some people are truly interested in a relationship but at least half of them are not just like the secular sites.
MsD.Banks's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/24/18 3:26 AM
Dear EHarmony Please take heed to the many negative reviews. In contrast, there may be one fake-good review to 20-30 bad reviews. This site is a joke It is overpriced and a waste of time overall, especially if you are not going to be able to communicate with your matches. Requested a full refund.
ImMayorMcCheese's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/24/18 11:24 AM
What is the incentive to pay for this service? Their app does nothing to try to sell the service to me. Enables you to see your matches photos? I could use any other dating app and see photos without paying. See who viewed your profile? Big deal... I just don’t see the point. Is there something their service offers that sets it apart from all the other cheaper dating apps? If so, they don’t try to sell you on it.
Cred_Rose's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/23/18 4:44 AM
I signed up last year and stupidly paid for a subscription. It was awful. There weren’t any good matches and I was mostly matched with people who were trying to scam people for money. 80% weren’t even primary English speakers which I found very odd. (Maybe because they are chat farms outside the US with fake profile pics?) I tried to get my money back in the 30 days. I couldn’t. Fast forward a year. I have logged in and deleted my profile AND deleted my pictures more than twice and guess what?! It’s still up! And they fraudulently charged me another $198 for a service I cancelled nearly a year ago. Beware of this con game. The algorithms don’t work and without their fraudulent charges, they would go under.
Davidoso's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/23/18 3:16 PM

I was lucky if I got 2-3 matches a week. I don’t think they have as many paid users as they lead you to believe they do. I changed criteria outside my preferences, all I got was “what if” matches in other states. I’ve messaged the majority of matches with zero response- leading me to believe I’m being matched with inactive users. If you contact Customer Service they are unhelpful & try to make you think you’re too picky. They refuse to provide even a prorated refund. I’ve tried eHarmony a couple of times now - maybe this time I’ll learn it’s just not worth the $.

I’ve been using this app now for at least 6 months. Feel like a complete idiot for paying for it. You get no matches unless you don’t have any limits, especially location. Want to find someone within a 5 mile radius? Good freaking luck. The only time I can get any matches is when I don’t have it limited and all the matches are either in a different state or too far away in my state. I’m from NY, this shouldn’t be that hard. A complete waste of my money. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I like E Harmony because the more in- depth your profile is, the more likely you will find more matches with qualities you are looking for. If I were to change anything, it would be the amount of space in your profile and the inability to create paragraphs in messaging. That said, I am more impressed with Eharmony than other dating apps.

First off the pricing for the subscription for this website is outrageous! But I have to admit I was pretty happy with the results. I was disappointed. I’m just starting out single and this was the first online dating app I tried because it’s so well known. But I wanted to check it out before spending money on it. I would have purchased 1 month if it would have been $20 or lower, but I did not see any options for anything less than 3 months. I could not view the profile pics and I couldn’t read any messages that were sent to me. Very discouraging after taking the time to complete my profile
Tharath's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/18/18 1:06 PM
Absolutely out of touch, features are lacking to say the least (can’t even hold down backspace when writing to delete in mass if you want to change something). The price of admission isn’t really excusable for an automated service, you need a membership to do something as simple as send someone a message or view a picture? In the landscape of dating apps out there this has got to be the least user friendly one out there. I recommend eHarmony look at it’s competition for insight on what people are looking for when setting up a profile or viewing other people’s profiles.

I was on this app for a year and the only men on there were the creepy guys you would expect to be on a dating site. When I complained about the matches I was receiving, they told me to increase the distance that I was willing to travel. I’m not traveling over 200 miles to meet somebody eHarmony! Once my subscription expired, that’s when they showed me all of my matches who were actually worth talking to. Then they wanted me to pay another $283 to talk to them. Complete bull💩! Don’t waste your $283 on this scam. It’s a total rip-off. I should’ve listened to the reviews when before I purchased this crap 😑. They sell you false hopes and show you couples who haven’t been on this site since 2001. They don’t have any new couples advertising for them. Bottom line: Don’t use eHarmony!

ONE app won’t magically make your dating life easier. I used eharmony for three months and I found more success with other apps. I did meet quite a few people from EH and guess what.... we never even talked about their compatibility system. It doesn’t exist! One think I like about EH is their amazing blog, customer service, and app design. Definitely give it a few months to see if it works for you. Also, If beauties don’t like you on the free app they aren’t going to flock to you on the paid app. If you’re not getting good matches. Relax and do some soul searching. Are you maybe trying a little to hard, are you coming across as needy? Work on yourself first. Love yourself first.

I live within 30miles of D.C., Baltimore, and Annapolis and eharmony couldn’t manage to proved me a match a day on average and I’ve gone over a week with no matches at all. I have a 100% completed profile and all quizzes filled out. I even called customer service and repeated the process at their suggestion to “fix” any issue. Needless to say it fixed nothing. So my sense is I am paying for a service that does literally nothing for me and now they are telling me they won’t refund me. I would NEVER recommend this service to anyone given this experience and I most certainly now credit the “reputability” of this company.

Medicgrl74's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 7/1/18 5:54 PM
This app is very disappointing. I spent money subscribing and the matches are very few and far between. In order to even get more “what if’s” it tells me to broaden my search radius?! I don’t want to talk to someone 5 hours away. I don’t have any desire to do a long distance relationship. I’ve been on it for about a month already and had one conversation with someone that lasted less than an hour. Complete waste of my money and time.
rozi8125's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/9/18 9:20 PM
This site isn’t what I thought it would be like. Everyone is like there should be good guys because u pay for it. But honestly I have better luck at the free ones.
wertmoomoo's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/9/18 8:09 AM
Don’t waste your time on this overblown app. What’s billed as a sure fire way of meeting someone is anything but. Many of the profiles seem to be inactive. I have no problem paying for the app’s services, but they often advertise “free communication weekends” and the website always says something about “free to sign up” (but once you’ve finished filling out your profile it tells you that actually getting to see your matches is hidden behind a paywall); It would make sense that this would lead to many profiles being created (believing it to be free to use) and then subsequently abandoned. The active user-base seems to be rather small and, if I may say, kinda sad. I have also encountered obviously fake profiles, and several fishy ones from Russia (even though my match settings obviously don’t extend beyond the US). I actually felt more chance of a genuine connection and had better conversations on Tinder, and that’s saying something.
Glimmergoddess's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/9/18 7:17 AM
This is my second go round with eHarmony, and it’s a good reminder why I ditched them the first time around. First of all, whatever plan you purchase, you still have to pay for if you try to cancel early, so buyer beware. My experience with customer service have been nothing but rude and pretentious, and they just keep saying that there can’t be anything wrong because clearly they are the best. I wasn’t being sent any matches with my location setting at 60 miles. When I relaxed it, literally every match is a thousand miles away. I live within 30 miles of 250,000 people include two college towns, and am 50 miles from a major metropolitan area. I find it hard to believe that there are no matches within a thousand miles. I find 60 miles a stretch, and who in their right mind would date someone who lives so far away. I’ve tried several dating sites, and eHarmony is without a doubt the worst. The app itself functions fine and is easy enough to use, but that does little good when the service is terrible. Don’t waste your time or money. They like to say they are the best, but there are much better dating sites out there.

Hello Eharmony's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/7/18 6:51 PM
I have been on site for awhile now and sent multiple messages to several men. No dates, no emails, just a few creepy guys have contacted me that I would not feel comfortable talking to, much less going on a date with! These men are extremely unrealistic about older women! Some even put on their profile particular visual attributes that they have to see. They don’t even consider that those physical attributes fade and you are left with the person inside. I am extremely unhappy with your site!!! These men don’t even try to talk to me, they just block me. Your site buffers that by saying “moved on”. Whatever!! I want my money back!

Not many matches to look at
Team Navy!'s Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/4/18 5:14 PM
My husband and I concur, Eharmony was a great matching tool. We have been married now for over two years and having the time of our lives. We were 1100 miles apart when we started the journey of talking, as well as very established in our respective careers. But as we trusted, love took over and everything fell into place. Now we have a beautiful blended family and are enjoying every moment. Don’t let distance ever deter you from a match. If we had let distance determine, we would have missed out on a lifetime of adventure and laughter! Go for it!

Steviousd's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/4/18 11:54 PM
Where to begin ? First off you are forced to buy multiple months so I paid for the 3 month block. This site doesn’t allow you to view unlimited potential matches , you are only given so many matches per day . Of course not everyone you see will spark your interest . Eharmony insists you widen your parameters to within 60 miles . Not a lot of people want to drive over 30 miles to meet someone , however if you limit your parameters to 30 miles you will go days upon days without seeing any new matches. After that it’s the usual routine of messaging women who don’t reply or will reply once then never again . I thought eharmony would provide women more interested in a long term relationship . Been on here for 2 weeks so far with no luck . Match is probably a better deal for your buck . Would not recommend this site to anyone . Possibly the worst dating site ive been on. I really would love to get my money back! Im rating it 1 star because I can’t rate it less. Good luck ...

I haven’t been a user long, however, I find it annoying you can’t delete emails, so people you aren’t talking to anymore are filling your inbox. I also don’t like that non-members can contact you, but you can’t communicate with them, except through sending questions, using the blank answer box to chat.

Maybe I’m the wrong age (35) or maybe I’m just not a good fit for the dating pool on this app, but eharmony has been pretty disappointing for what I paid. I’ve had better ease of use and success with other apps.
AnaCutDaBanana's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/27/18 12:53 PM
This just really isn’t ideal. If you pay close attention they give you a certain amount of matches a day meaning they are controlling the amount of people you can interact with or possibly be “compatible” with also meaning you’ll only see a certain amount of profiles in the time period you chose your subscription for possibly making you have to wait longer. I’ve had better success on free dating pages than this one. But if you’re an older man that wants younger women this would probabaly be ideal for you. This is designed to make them money, not find you someone compatible

Most of the your time is spent waiting for a reply. That being said, it would be nice to have something to show a members last active date or how active they are. Also if the site had more explanation of their dating results would be nice.

Zux0000's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/23/18 6:33 PM
Do not use this service! The matches are anyone they can hook to pay their very expensive monthly fees. DO NOT signed up for more than a month, you won’t be able to cancel the account until eharmony.com has drained every penny for your subscription. There is no “compatibility match”, just accounts with one or two pictures, or ghost accounts. Not worth the money they so gallantly ripped people off.
Dee43525's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/22/18 5:25 PM
I live in a major metropolitan city that is full of so many things to do...which would lead one to think there were several million prospects out there. The day I signed up, I was immediately sent 8-10 people—3 of whom were admittedly, ending their membership (bad sign, already) and the others were not even remotely assigned according to my preferences. Since this time, several months ago, NOT ONE PERSON has been sent. This is a total ripoff...don’t kid yourself into thinking you’re going to meet someone. But, they don’t mind charging your credit card for nothing!
hjklgff's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/22/18 11:59 AM
Week 8. I’m just going to cancel it even though I have another month left. It sickens me to have this app on my phone. . #1 they say, maybe at scamming. Week 6 100 Miles radius receiving 1 useless profile every 3 days. If you want to feel stupid sign up for this site and pay 3x what the other sites charge you. You will get more out free pof than this scam. Week 4 I’m now receiving 1 profile every other day. I haven’t received a single reply are even a view from all the 100% compatible profile I sent messages to. This site is loaded with inactive profiles. This feels worst than blowing money at a casino. $95.00 with a 40% coupon 3 months. Worst dating site. Not worth .95 cents. I feel sorry for the people that sign up for this garbage and pay full price. They send you 4-5 profiles in the first week. No last on activity date so don’t know if you are sending messages to inactive users. Conveniently got rid of that feature in 2015. I choose 60 mile radius but ran out of profiles by week 2. Hopefully when FB comes out with there dating service it will destroy these online dating scam sites.

Been on here a little over a month and nothing. Nobody responds to messages, nobody reads messages, and I really think that most of the profiles that I’m matched up with are accounts of people that no longer have a subscription to the service or never had one in the first place. In short, don’t waste your time with this service. Very disappointing.
Mama Suz 16's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/21/18 12:00 AM
Men had profile pictures that looked like they were mugshot photos. Most people didn't message back. Only had one or two new matches each day. Set a distance limit and got matches from Canada. No where in my settings did I say I wanted a long distance relationship. Wouldn't recommend this app to anyone.
Dryadgirl's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/20/18 3:48 PM
Keep in mind the last time I used eharmony was before smart phones when there was only a website. I felt then the questions were more in depth and the matching was better. My biggest pet peeve is how compatibly is determined. I would love to be able to rank what is most important to be compatible in. For example, I’m more of a low key introvert that enjoy simple time at home and maybe a Farmers market on the weekend. I’m not adventurous. I do not enjoy traveling. Yet, I keep being matched with all these adventurous, traveling types simply because we score high on intimacy or other qualities. I wish I could get a refund because it is just not useful at all.
Pbfh's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/2/18 9:26 PM
So I thought of trying this app and i regret it. I got 800 messages and couldn’t sort them coz guess what? They don’t have a delete button! And the thumbnail of the person who messaged you is so tiny that you have click his profile to block him. That is right, you have to block everyone in order to delete their message. It is very time consuming! Who has time for that? And every activity even “smiles” keep piling up. Not fun at all. I decided to cancel my subscription and thought they’d give me a refund since it’s only been 5 days. I was online a few times just to delete messages each time i was online. Also to figure out if there’s a better way to sort messages unfortunately none. And nope they didn’t refund me saying I’m off TWO days the cancellation period. No consideration at all. Download at your own risk.

I check this app out and really like the information gathering to find your perfect match during the free trial but, when they listed my matches their picture were completely blurred and to see the picture you had to upgrade with no less then a $129.00 subscription. Really! What kind of trial is this? If you going to give a free trial, at least let me see what I can expect visually along with the information they provide. I can understand holding texting and contacting options, but let me see what these guys look like and what kind of people you’re presenting. I’ll pass.
CanUstndtherain's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/2/18 10:29 PM
A little disappointed. It seems everyone is Compatible. I thought the screening process would be better. The site also does not show you when the last time your matches were on. The level of reads is way lower than on the other major site. I’m wondering if half the matches are even on the site anymore....
simplyperfect65's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 6/19/18 6:19 PM
I would not recommend this site. Over the last 3 days I’ve had one match sent to me and I live in Dallas /Fort Worth. There’s only one available man on this site? Really? When I put down my location of 60 miles and it asked me the importance I have to select very important to only get Dallas/Fort Worth and when I don’t I’m being matched with men in completely other states. 60 miles is still inside the Texas borders. I reach out like suggested and no one is responding back. I feel they are looking for the perfect model for their arm. I feel I have completely wasted not just my money but my time

I saw a Hulu add and thought it was worth a shot. After doing the questionnaire I got excited because it said I had matches...but I had to pay to see... So, like the sucker I am I ponied up and paid...what a huge mistake. First, in the opening questionnaire there is no option to say you don’t wanna date someone with kids. Half my initial matches had kids...I’m 21 I don’t wanna date someone with kids. So, I thought okay, I need to be more specific...so I change the age range and what I’m looking for...eharmony says I’m too specific and need to broaden my scope...I thought their “algorithm” was supposed to be great. I’m totally disgusted with the app and my eharmony experiment. The cost is insanely high especially for a full time student. There is no trial run, no way to know if accounts are active. Eharmony is a money grubbing scam that preys on people who just want to find some love. DON’T BUY.

eHarmony basically want you to pay 129.99 for 3 months without giving you a free trial to see if you would like to subscribe to their network. If you just buy the 3 months subscription who even knows what you’ll get or meet for that matter. I just wish they would give you a free trial for new users. Other than this main issue they do have a future in dating apps such as what you want in a lady and or man.

So far I'm extremely disappointed with what I've seen. The matches are horrible.. This is over priced and the commitment is ridiculous. I should've just went back to match or bumble. At least there the matches are coming in pretty quickly and you'll probably meet someone there and on top of that you don't have to commit so long or pay as much. I feel as though I got shammed. Don't do it. I only paid because you can't see anyone without paying but should've went with my gut. Now I'm committed to 6 months at a ridiculous price. Save your money.

After paying it showed me a lot less then it made it out to be. Then most of them weren’t real. I know for where i live it’s definitely limited but i expected more. I’ve seen a lot better results off cheaper apps. Very frustrating and a waste of money. I have tried eharmony, zoosk, and POF. When comparing the 3 services, EHarmony had provided me with the fewest responses. I have also found that many eHarmony members are also the other sites. It leads me to believe that the services provided here are not adequate for there needs. It certainly is not adequate for mine. The idea of only providing a few matches per day so as not to overwhelm the consumer may seem plausible, but, in reality, is too dismissive of the consumers need for more choices.

Not much. The questions on the profile portion do not make a lot of since to older people as far as what sports do you regularly play. What kind of music do you play. Things such as that. If you don’t answer them the app is constantly telling you your profile isn’t 100% complete. There should be more age appropriate questions for elderly people.

I’m not a partier and rarely meet guys I’d be interested in dating when I do go out. I met someone I likely never would’ve “bumped into” - because he lives in a different area and isn’t much of a partier either. I highly recommend giving this a try. I liked this app better than a lot of the ones that push looks. Don’t get me wrong- I don’t date guys I’m not attracted too but this puts it in perspective. Plus, the pre-screening based on interests and personality kept me from being overwhelmed by creepers who didn’t bother to read my profile. Do. It.
Hulk31483's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 5/17/18 3:46 PM
I can’t understand for the life of me why you keep sending me suggestions of girls that live over three hours away when I specifically put in my profile settings 30-60 mile radius and I select that it’s very important? I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and on a daily basis I’m not only getting girls all over the country, but everybody is ugly! It’s like your site purposely pins off people that do not get much attention. Total bs!

Just a bunch of women who want the world and think they are the greatest gift to man since the invention of bacon. I can see if they looked like what they demanded, but ga’ dang. Bunch of close to and over the hill needy clingers. And these women barely rate giving them a county. Good luck trying to cancel. I’ve tried. Next step is contacting American Express.

Russell T Lyman's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 5/14/18 4:55 AM
So I paid $60 for 3 months since there is no 1 month option. I figured I heard all these great stories of people meeting on there. I spend hours taking the examine quiz things and set up my profile. Plenty of smiling photos and me doing fun active things. I send out about 30 winks and like and messages to girls and get nothing back for days. I keep trying and still nothing. I email customer support. Come to find out none of the girls can read my message unless they sign up for a paid subscription. So I ask well can I at least filter out all the non paying memberships and they said no. So of course I asked for a refunded but was told I have to contact iTunes support. Waste of money. I had better luck on tinder, bumble, and plenty of fish. I could have used $60 for super likes on those sites.

I pay for this site and no one ever looks at my profile and I’m only sent 3 matches a day? Also there are rarely matches in my area. I don’t want a long distance partner. I’m done with this app
xtjxv905628012's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 5/13/18 6:17 AM
I spent $179 on this app, thinking it would be more than a typical dating app. Instead I’ve gotten... nothing. Not only do I not get what other free dating services offer (people I can actually talk to for free), but there is no additional service, support, or other dating help on this app, which is the minimum I would expect for $179. Very irritating! I wish I could get my money back, but since I can’t, I will warn everyone possible about this app.
Amanda from PDX's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 5/13/18 6:00 PM
I paid through Apple Pay and after about 3 weeks eHarmony randomly locked me out of my account although I paid for 3mo. I was never let back into my account (which I would like all info to be deleted- pics, bio) and never refunded.
lkjfdrybdgbm's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 5/13/18 2:06 AM
This does not give you the ability to view other users. You have to wait until you are sent matches and you are sent a limited amount of matches each day if any. For the amount of money you pay as a premium user, you should be able to search
Dee43525's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 5/12/18 12:53 AM
Everyone wants to find the right person, otherwise, these apps would not exist. Pass on this one. Too expensive, and not many matches. Oh, eH would lead you to believe that YOU and YOUR SETTINGS are the reason for no matches. Au contrare. I was sent “smiles” (by eH, I’m sure) because when I returned the “smile,” I received a thank you from these people (like I had initiated the contact!) This dating site is a total racket, and you’ll wind up angry that you allowed yourself to be suckered into joining. I am an attractive, professional female that travels for work, thus, there are few opportunities to meet people. I live in one of the largest cities in the country, and I was sent ten matches, period, and all within three days of joining, then nothing. REALLY??? Don’t send me a message that my area of 60 miles is too restricted! What a rip off!

I’m not satisfied with the number of matches. Although I have adjusted all my criteria, i.e. age, distance, smoker/non smoker, race, etc, the matches are not enough, and certainly not what I am looking for. I am really disappointed that I paid as much as I did to be a member.

The app seems promising, but the service is expensive and I’m really not interested in paying for more than one month at a time up front. It’s really sketchy that you have to pay for at least 3 months at a time, up front. I’m shocked that there isn’t a month-to-month option.

Like tinder you have a nearly endless stream of inactive accounts. I think Tinder is better because you can look at unlimited people each day. They give you limited matches and limited people on the what if section of the app and if you end up with a constant stream of inactive account I guess that’s just to bad. Save your money, buy something nice. You will be happier.

T1Jackal's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 12/25/18 1:04 PM
This is my second go around. The first time I used it about 7 yrs ago I had great success. I met plenty of women and developed a great network of single friends with women it didn’t work out with. I went back on about 6 months ago, and after sending about 40 messages, about 20 more open ended questions and say about 20 smiles, I’ve heard back from 5 women, of which I only got together with one. When I was first on A few years ago I received enough women contacting me that I only rarely had to send out an initial contact. So, either I became incredibly less appealing in the past few years, or eHarm has changed. I also noticed on the activity tab that there is barely any activity. My favorite part is at the end of the month they send you an email with stats including how many connections I made. “You made 24 connections!” No, I sent 24 messages and never heard a peep back. That’s not a connection, it’s a waste of time. I used to recommend eHarm to everyone I knew. Now, I don’t even bother logging in anymore.
Cdaddy12's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 12/22/18 12:34 PM

If I could rate this service zero stars I would. Save your money (I spent $100) and try your luck on a free site. You have to select a mile distance for how far someone can be to match. I put a 60 mile radius. I’m in DFW, 1.4 million people live here. Dallas is 32 miles from Ft Worth. I haven’t been matched with anyone because “my location permitter is to narrow”. So, I changed the requirement of 60 miles to “somewhat important” and I only get people from Missouri and Arkansas. Are you F’ing kidding me?! I’m NOW seeing there are a ton of people with the same distance issue. Major metroplex areas with NO matches..... maybe a class action lawsuit for refunds is in order!!!
IanRobinson777's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 12/22/18 12:34 PM
Most the profiles on here are old and the people don’t use the site or pay for it anymore. Good luck meeting anyone. It’s a waste of time messaging someone who was on the site over a year ago. EHarmony used to display the date the person was last active. EH must have removed that feature because they don’t have enough active users.

Pros: App that helps you meet people using compatibly tests, and shares your over all results with you as you check people out. Cons: SUPER expensive, you literally HAVE to pay to even see people, you need to adjust your matches to really specify what you’re looking for, even when you specify you get matches that are WAY out of your specifications, they say “want more matches?” as in “your specifications are too strict”...yeah...that’s why I did them that way...duh, and the fact that I HAVE to pay without even a couple day trial or something...it’s awful. I mean seriously. This is terrible.

Why am I getting men who are 54 and in their 40s? Also they pay no attn to distance. My limits are 60miles to 120 miles and they are pulling overaged men from Kentucky. I LIVE IN TEXAS.

Other than that this is a great dating website.
csr.us's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 12/14/18 12:50 PM
Too many reviews focus on the service. That’s not really what reviews in the App Store are for. I’ll leave those out. The newest update has a tendency to log out whenever I access the web site. The update for skipping or sending smiles for What If matches is also painfully slow. It shouldn’t take that long to show the next match. The animation needs to be sped up.
Kayseehaze12's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 12/14/18 12:50 PM
It’d be nice to have an option to just pay month by month. I like how thorough everything is and how you can really get to know someone just off their profile, however I don’t want to pay over $100 on any option to see what’s around. I’d like to pay for one month and just see if I like it enough to continue.

Angy928's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/4/17 11:15 PM
I’ve been subscribed at special rate of 3 installments and they charged me for second installment 2 months after they charged my first one when they should’ve charged 4 month later. Matches are barely there and lots of people are catfish. The site does not check that or criminal record. Lots of matches are far away. They should require all candidates to put at least 5 pictures because some only have 1 picture posted and empty profile. On some days I get 1 match only, which is ridiculous considering money they charge. If you write something to support they don’t address your issues. Who knows if there is anybody behind those Eharmony walls?
Howard Bond's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/3/18 2:50 PM
Eharmony is evolving into online dating scam websites just like the others. Please make women pay for memberships like men to reduce the criminal elements. My location settings are for the whole state of Washington, and I only get matches once a month? That’s not a dating site, that’s a scam. I’m just a guy trying to find love like anyone else, and these scam artists just take advantage of that for profit. This is a terrible site to join.

beejy8712's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/20/18 12:34 PM
This app/website service is absolutely horrendous for online dating. I have tried a few in the past, but this one takes the cake as the worst possible option for online dating. You have a better chance finding luck in a bar. There are very few matches, the women don’t even look at profiles, and they want you to have a radius of 60 miles. So I paid all this money to try to find a “match” that is automatically a long distance relationship? Great idea eharmony. Save your time and money and don’t even bother with this terrible terrible “service”

C Duke's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/20/18 12:34 PM
Eharmony stood out amongst dating sites! The intentional questions about who I really was seemed like a lot to do up front, but it allowed me to find matches based on our values and not just our photos! I joined because I saw the success one of my best friends had finding his wife on eharmony. So while it took some time for me to open up and find the right one, I will say it was totally worth it. My now husband messaged me and I was blown away by how much we had in common and am so thankful we gave it a chance. We lived 3 hours apart and like would not have met any other way. Thanks to eharmony for providing the platform for God to introduce us! So I say to you... give it a chance and see who is out there!

lindy11789's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/20/18 12:34 PM
I used eharmony and ran out of matches within 300 miles after literally 3 days! I don’t see how that’s worth the $60+ a month they are charging. Outrageous! I can’t believe I spent that for 3 days worth of use. Complete waste of time and money. Not to mention the majority of the people I was matched with were not attractive at all. I’m sorry, but this is a scam.
LifetimeJourneys's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/2/18 9:17 AM
I took my time to go through all of the time consuming questions and then get a message stating that they are sorry they can’t match me with anyone. I guess Barney the dinosaur has a way better chance of finding someone than I do. What a waste of time this was!
Bean57Lexi's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/2/17 1:41 AM
Eharmony is the worst online dating website out there. Please don't waste your time or money. I am 37 years old and eharmony is so lacking on members that they are sending me 60 year old men (WAY outside my age range!!) I wish I could get a refund. :( I wish I could give it zero stars.
Phroggmom's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/2/17 10:06 AM
This dating site is horrible and you’re stuck paying for it for a year NO MATTER HOW BAD IT IS! They matched me with ppl 6 hours away who are older than my mother and all we had in common was we both liked watching gymnastics. I’m. Not. Kidding. Also, I’m 5’9” and most of my matches where 5’5” and under. I date shorter men but come on! No option to adjust for hight or interests beyond the personality test. I thought I’d finally splurge and so this dating sites even though its expensive I was ready ti take dating seriously. Don’t make the mistake I did. I’ve met no one. It is ridiculous. I’m so disappointed. Awful. Save your money.
Stacey Shi's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/16/18 7:37 PM
I would try other popular dating apps. They tried to scam your money by asking you to subscribe for a long period of time for a very high price while providing substandard services. They will ask you to spend hours completing your profile and once you complete it, they will hide all the faces of people you’ve been matched with. They they will ask you for a very high entry fee just to see the faces of people you’ve imaged. FYI you’ll be disappointed once they’re revealed. After two weeks, they will run out of matches for you. They will send you one match per week, most of them will be ghosts. Then the app will go silent for the rest of the subscription period which is likely to be longer than 9 months.

g_allen82's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/16/18 7:37 PM
If you’re looking for “love” online, and you want to spend hundreds of dollars and get NO results... eHarmony is the place for you. They can ask all the deep questions they want, if the girl or guy you’re into doesn’t like short guys, tall women, black people, white people, or whatever; eHarmony’s questionnaire isn’t gonna change that. Basically what I’m saying is, people these days are too shallow for sites like eHarmony to work. Tinder or Bumble are your best bets honestly. Or get off the couch and find your connection in real life. 🤷🏽♂️

For one you don’t see those commercials anymore because he’s out sailing around on his yacht enjoying your money. The whole company is ran by A.I. And algorithms and all the profiles are all bots. The person your taking to is a computer. The reviews on here that are positive are all fake as well. Don’t waste your time with any of the dating sites as none of them work.!!!!!! To all the men who are frustrated by the lack of real women they are able to find on dating sites know this: it’s not because we don’t try to contact you, it’s because we can’t due to our accounts being continuously suspended due to mysterious terms of service violations that have never happened. I’m really getting tired of having to go the extra mile to prove I’m me because I’m female.

Pinkstyrs's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 11/1/18 1:11 PM
I live in a metro area, technically there are really 3 metro areas yet they can’t match me with anyone who lives in a reasonable distance instead they match me with people in another country or on the opposite side of the US. I’ve contacted support 3 times and I’ve received the same copied and pasted auto generated email that says the exact same thing. They refuse to refund your money also. Overall, this is joke. Don’t waste your money.

Joying this brand new member about three months ago and despite being over 6 feet, physically fit, in one of the largest cities in the world, highly educated, with a zillion interest, financially secure, and though not model looks, certainly not bad looking by most standards, and yet after the initial bunch of matches on day one (can I use the term matches loosely), I barely got a single match over the next three months and the few I got as others pointed out, were either geographically undesirable, or did it match a deal breaker criteria like religion. Seriously, you couldn't find a handful of matches for me over three months that I walk into the hallway of my apartment building and meet more people then eharmony provided. First, the few I wrote to, apparently were not subscribers and couldn't even respond back! That is a poor design for an app.

I’m extremely disappointed! I feel I’ve wasted money. I consider myself an attractive women, yet I’m not getting hit on AT ALL. That’s because the matches I get don’t have an active account. Why send me matches that don’t have an active account? Many people haven’t and won’t pay for the services. I got on other dating apps and have not had any problems getting dates. Even with the matches I got, they did not fit what I’m looking for. After spending an hour setting this up, I thought I’d get dates. I feel this was the biggest waste of money.

Awful service, beware the fact that you only have three days to cancel. It was recommended to me by a family member, but I don’t know how they’re still in business because the service is awful and the reason I wanted to cancel was because I found out about they’re rampant homophobia. I wish 0 stars was an option. They make it seem like your best option is to choose one of the multiple month subscriptions because you can pay it in installments, however if you decide you want to cancel you are held accountable for the other two installments. Also no option to choose more than one gender. So if you are bisexual good luck. Worst experience with any kind of app/subscription service in my life.

Get real. Stay away!!!

My husband and I found each other on eHarmony. Yes, we’re one of the success stories. eHarmony is for those who are really looking to find someone special and they do a great job matching people as long as people are honest in their responses to the questionnaire. It was by far the best thing I’ve done in life... my husband agrees!

This is the most ridiculous thing in the world. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Nothing but fat ugo’s (I believe that’s the scientific term) and they don’t even live close to you. Don’t get caught up with whole $20 or so a month because they will charge you for an entire year in the beginning. Then when you try to jump through loop holes to get a refund they try to blame iTunes and will direct you to them where you will jump through more loopholes to find out that you can’t do anything; it’s one big scam! Jakes566's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/29/18 8:25 AM
Every bit of 90% of the matches they send are inactive accounts. Clearly no one uses this site anymore. I probably get 7-10 matches a day. If two are active I am shocked. And I really don’t think they take ANY of your preferences into account. The very few positive reviews I have read on here all sound like they are written by eharmony employees trying to sell us on their service. One was saying they were 1100 miles apart and found love - who in the world wants to start a relationship with someone 1100 miles away? That is so incredibly unreasonable but that’s what eh is pushing. What a joke. This is a total scam. People simply aren't using it, and they haven’t done nearly enough to evolve with the times and remain relevant. It’s not even remotely worth spending your money on this joke of a company.

Silent-Vigil's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/29/18 3:30 AM
So this is a dating app, yeah? Where you go to try and meet new people and possibly start a relationship, right? So can someone explain the ideology of making someone pay to view even just one photo of their matches? How do you even know if you are attracted to a person if you can’t see what they look like? Obviously, looks aren’t everything, but they are something. You can’t really date someone if you’re not attracted to them. That there, tells me this all is nothing but a cash grab. This company only wants your money, and doesn’t care whether or not you get into a relationship. Else they wouldn’t lock essentials behind a membership.
BioCutie99's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/29/17 5:58 PM

Notifications don’t work in the app. If you have a new message, and you even open the app, it won’t necessarily show you have any new messages. Once you clear the app from memory and relaunch, it’ll show a new message. Also it just doesn’t notify. Anytime I get a message I have to look in the app to see if one appeared, it doesn’t show in the lock screen, home screen, drop down, so anything.
TrentVano's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/26/18 2:03 AM
A.) Your matches can only respond if they have paid for a subscription. So it isn’t worth sending them messages because you have no way of knowing if they’re ignoring you or just don’t have a membership. B.) The compatibility ratings haven’t been accurate at all, because there hasn’t been any real mutual attraction between me and any of them. C.) My unwanted subscription was extended for an additional 6(!) months without me realizing and I have no way of canceling it. This app might work in a big city where you’ll get matched with people who are close. But in my experience , Tinder and Tagged by far give you the most value for what you pay (And you can still use them without a subscription). I have had ZERO success with Eharmony, not found a SINGLE PERSON in 6 months. I have had success however with the aforementioned apps. Not permitting users to cancel auto renewal subscription is also a great way to make your users feel cheated, EHarmony. Don’t waste your money.

I’ve always been hesitate about online dating, but I figured I’d give eHarmony a try because my friend met her husband through this site. I filled out the entire questionaire before it suddenly closed. I keep trying to reopen the account through the website and it doesn’t change whatsoever. This is highly discouraging because I was really looking forward to testing the waters and they have a ton of information about me. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone because of this.

The “compatible” section is bogus. Qualities I’m looking for have no way of being ranked as important. App sends you “compatible” based on criteria that might not be important to you. Also, and extremely important, they don’t ask about current marital status. My “match” was still married! Ugh! No new “matches” or possibilities for days or weeks. ChaoticCoconut's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/22/17 11:15 PM
I have a paid subscription, and honestly this app works better on my phone than on the desktop/laptop. I have had several dates through Eharmony. Although the relationships ended, I have had better success in finding someone who doesn’t want to only hook up compared to the free apps full of over-sexed, immature people. It takes time finding someone compatible but as a busy person, I’m fine with using this company to play “Cupid” for me.
eharm333's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/21/18 8:42 AM
Two plus year customer. Very strict cancellation policy. I don’t recommend. A lot of profiles are simply not active, and similar to mine, they will keep profile looking like its active when no longer active. Wonder how many people on this are active members. Oh well
JigglypuffSJW's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/21/18 6:10 PM
I see others dinging the app because they haven’t had success meeting someone on eharmony yet. I dunno, I personally like how the app doesn’t overwhelm you with thirsty singles on day one...you get out what you put in, folks. Be sincere, take the time to answer the personality quiz, upload flattering photos and you will meet someone who’s looking for more than just a hookup. My sister was about to give up online dating for good because she’d been burned so many times. BUT she gave eharmony one last shot and now she’s engaged to a great guy that would never have wasted time on tinder or bumble or whatever.
Princewithmorethan5enemies's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/21/18 4:51 AM
I tried to enter my favorite musicians and they didn't have Waylon Jennings or Merle Haggard. I was just about to pay for a subscription, and the subscriptions are fairly expensive and require multiple month commitments, but I thought "How are these people going to match me with a person who I could spend my life with if they've never heard of Waylon Jennings?!".
Jackncokepleez's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/20/17 4:38 PM
Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase a subscription from eHarmony or even use the app in my opinion. EHarmony, both the Apple app and the website, are a joke. They exclude half the population with their questions but the questions do absolutely nothing. EHarmony uses the same process in matching as every other site but they fail miserably at it. POF is 10 times the dating app than eHarmony is plus you might actually meet some people. Even only using the free version of POF, it's still better than the paid version of eHarmony. Match.com is ok but for any worthwhile results, you have to pay. I can't stress enough how inadequate eHarmony is. You would be better going to a bar to meet someone.

smh4000's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/2/18 8:05 PM
Horrible. You have to PAY to see what the person LOOKS LIKE? You can’t see photos, you can’t see who likes you, and worst of all its clickbait. It says it’s free but you can’t use any features at all. Worst app ever.
Raydiddi's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/2/18 4:35 PM
This service is a rip off. $140 for a year of suggested matches that aren’t even paying members of the site. I am getting nothing but suggested matches from people who aren’t even online. Spend your money with a different service.
Suenfd's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/19/18 2:47 AM
Horrible app. Put in ages and distance. I live in NJ. Gave me matches from Canada and other states not even close. Would not recommend this to anyone.
gabberbell's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/18/18 5:06 PM
They are unable to properly deal with compromised member accounts which led to monetary loss.
glenn7485's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/18/18 12:33 AM
Same here I have sent tons of messages and smiles nothing all I see is that the person updated their profile or that they have been terminated. Very disappointed
MaryoriAstrid's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/18/17 7:13 PM
Once you add a passcode, you will never be able to open the app again!! I’ve been having to use the regular site again because the app won’t allow me to enter the. 4-digit passcode

I dislike this site VERY much. I want it to be over!! Very, very disappointing!!!!!
elaw73!'s Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/17/17 7:24 AM
There s no body type preference so the majority of your batches are a waste of time. Very disappointing for how much time the personality questions take. My preferences where white women in Northern Cali and it would suggest obese black women in southern Cali ..really ! Get your sh@t together harmony
CRROmama's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/17/17 6:42 PM
The free dating apps I've used blow eHarmony out of the water!! It's been almost 48 hours and I haven't received a single match. I just read the terms for cancellation and you have to send a written letter in the mail or a TELEGRAM within 3 days of sign up to be refunded. Seriously?!! I couldn't be more unhappy. I will recommend everyone I know to not waste their time or money with eHarmony!!
Steph1094's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/17/17 4:56 PM
It's pointless to in "Preferences" when non the feedback falls within the scope of it. A complete waste of time/money.

Very unhappy with my experience!!! Would not recommend!
Matty B 213's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/16/18 7:53 PM
If you want to use a pay site use match. eHarmony was useless for me. Even Bumble was better and that’s where I found my best and last woman.
jc44012's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/16/18 4:20 AM
Definitely not what I expected out of a dating app, especially considering the strong marketing it has. The rates of responses pale in comparison to match or bumble. There’s really no good way of knowing if a profile is active either. I’m not willing to travel super far to meet someone who may actually be real either. Very disappointing.
*Tony*M's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/16/18 3:02 PM
My wife and I would both say that EHarmony was the best thing that we ever did. I signed up completely reluctant that this would ever work. My girlfriends convinced me to join. After hearing this over and over, I finally broke down because I really wanted to find someone to share my life with. Ashley contacted me one day out of the complete blue and I had no idea that this would change my life forever. She lived not even 10 minutes away. I have never seen Ash nor would I have ever meet her because we didn’t do the same things. We even had mutual friends. Ashley was looking for the same thing I was. See-the beauty of this app is ,unlike other apps, it weeds out the people not serious about finding someone and uses these characteristics of EHarmony to locate your match. Just to be real, It doesn’t end there and it’s not that easy. It takes work on both sides like every meaningful relationship. But we would both say, we knew why we were matched with everyone that we met throughout the process. It just increases the # of meaningful dates; therefore, you have a better chance of meeting someone worthwhile. I highly recommend this method over the others because I have used a few of the others and although they may work to, EHarmony, we feel was a better option. Best of luck in your search. Give EHarmony a chance!!!
Amber Catalina's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/16/17 9:07 AM
The site sends multiple emails a day announcing new matches, but they are the same people over and over.
7e7's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/16/17 3:19 PM
The “advice” and “help sections are not working (says a problem occurred). Logged on today and my profile is nowhere to be seen. I did not delete anything nor did I delete my account. I had multiple matches but now nothing shows. I am filling a complaint with the proper entities as well as apple-false/misleading advertising, breach of contract, etc. you people should be ashamed of yourselves. APP/site is a -10 stars
Odongo123's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/16/17 10:41 AM
If there was a way to give 0 stars I would, not only is it expensive like others said but once you quit they will continue to illegally run your card without your permission...currently in legal battle with them, because their “resolution specialists” are really quick for minor things but when they are in the wrong they disappear, so having my lawyers deal with it. THIS IS A MASSIVE WASTE, not worth it.
gr5330889's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/15/18 4:01 PM
I joined eharmony just because I thought I would give it a try. I don’t know what kind of profile that I have would be interested for for others, but I set my profile to be close to where I live. But yet I receive matches that are states away and then I am constantly being told by you to be more open to matches that are not generally in my area. I got so tired of it and actually called and canceled my account even though I paid and had more time left. You all keep saying give it a chance give it a chance. Well guess what, I gave it a chance and it was nothing but a waste of money. I will never recommend and will do my best to talk everyone out of using eharmony. You guys keep saying we have a guarantee and we will give you free months if you don’t find someone in your membership before it ends. I don’t believe that for one second. And you sent me testimonials from people that are doing good, but I have not seen anything on people that have not had any success on this site, I’m sure there are many people who have not had success, like me. Waste of Time and Money
Dennis Pike's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/15/18 12:52 PM
I’ve had more meaningful connections on tinder. What a waste of time and money. E harmony is a joke. I took the time. I answered the questions. I did all the things. Waste.
IrishKarillion's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/15/17 6:28 AM
The app platform itself works fine but as far as a dating application—save your money. You will have better luck throwing a dart on random pictures on a wall.
Glenda521's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/15/17 1:31 AM
How do I cancel?
ChristynMarie's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/15/17 1:29 AM
The app keeps signing me out on my phone and then not excepting my password. This dating app isn't cheap and the technology isn’t great. So frustrating.

BEWARE this is the worst !!!
Nicdriz's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/14/18 10:59 PM
I just signed up for it but am really skeptical because at $100. I get a lot of smiles and responses but I have got a lot from any of website to find that most people only fit a 1/3 or we didn’t work. The pricing for this is way steep and I feel bad for most guys or girls on here because I’m sure people would connect if they strategically did better plan points.
Larjh's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/14/17 3:57 AM
Thought that this site would be better because it has you answer 1000+ questions to match you up. First few days I got several matches and some of good quality but no responses back. It hasn't even been a month yet and now I will go several days without getting a match. Just don't think it was worth the money to not get one date.
Firedan1143's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/12/18 3:13 PM
Maybe it’s me, but with all the messages and smiles I’ve sent, to have as little response as I have seems illogical. Perhaps my messages aren’t up to par, or maybe my profile is bad, I really don’t know but I’m failing miserably. The amount of fake profiles that have messaged me and then got taken down by your staff equals probably 95% of the responses I have received from this site, and the amount of inactive people who have not logged on since I created my account is astonishing. If they haven’t logged in for 3 months send them an email once every week reminding them to log in, and if they don’t, remove or hide their account until they do log in again so I’m not messaging ghosts who are never going to log in again. Overall, I would maybe give eHarmony a 2 out of 5 stars right now, and that’s being generous. You ask me all of the questions to determine my interests and type, yet when I answer them to the best of my ability and then set my settings to fit how far I’m willing to travel for a relationship, along other preferences, I’m constantly bombarded to lower my standards to allow for better results, yet the results may or may not be compatible women. I’ll give it a few more weeks, but so far I think I’ve wasted my money...
JustBeau's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/12/18 2:46 PM
App asks for my preferences then continuously show men outside of preferences. It would be nice for the app to show who’s a subscribed member and who’s not. This is an almost three month review.
Darian B.'s Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/12/17 12:06 PM
I've been on this site for over a month and I kept getting matches from different states and countries... when I stated that distance was important to me they said that I was hindering my chances and I have gotten 2 matches in the last 3 weeks. Not worth the money.

It just costs more money with NO results
Aelitaleo7's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/10/18 5:12 AM
Terrible dating site and app! The matches they send are either don’t exist or their profiles are so old that they don’t check them! I wish eHarmony at least had a feature “last seen” or something like it so a person has an idea if this match actually active. So many people don’t delete their profiles even if they stopped using this app! Also the quality of matches is very very poor. And if you set your priorities eHarmony tells you that your preferences are too limited. But why in the world would I look for someone 20 years older than me!!! And one doesn’t get even a refund if one cancels this stupid service after a couple months of dissatisfaction! I don’t recommend this site.
linz22cat's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/10/18 10:36 AM
The worst I ever experienced waste of money and time I don’t recommend this dating site at all , they give a special deal for few months to get you money but never have any dates or matches I’m better with the free dating sites then this scam!!!
Viking63's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/10/18 10:18 PM
Don’t waste your money on this service. I used it years ago, and after a year, I only met two women worth even one date. I decided to give it another try, and today it’s even worse than before. There are fake accounts, used to make you feel like you’re making a contact. They communicate with you for a week or two, then immediately quit speaking to you when you attempt to setup a face to face meeting. Most of the matches you receive, either don’t match your requirements, age, beliefs, distance, or they are inactive accounts.
Overdrive-808's Review of EharmonyReviewed on 10/1/18 7:19 AM
There’s so many questions to just get to finding people. I didn’t even finish yet and I’m already tired. It’s really easy because it’s just rating about yourself, but it’s so boring and long
