One of my favorites!

I use it every time I go shopping. Just wish there was a version for the iPad. But it's one of my favorite apps.

I've waited for an app like this. I comparison shop all the time and some stores on their price labels have for example 0.32 cents/1oz which helps but not all stores do that and I spend so much time working out the math to level the comparison in my head. So this app is a time saver for me. The clean interface gets the job done and out of your way. Keep up the good work guys.

Need to know which one is the better deal. Well your not going to find out unless you have this app. It does a good job at it.

I've just started using the app and I was going along fine until I opened the Detail screen. At first glance it is very confusing. It does not have the clarity of the final comparison screen. To much time is required by the user to decipher the information being displayed. Maybe add a screen shot of the Detail screen with descriptive text in the excellent tutorial.

I love taking this along when they have "sales" of products at the grocery. This makes things like comparing the value of a 6-pack of 24oz bottles vs. 2-liter bottles or anything being sold in differing units very easy. I've saved many times the cost of this app in the last few months.

I use it very often. Gives great flexibility, and you can compare all kinds of things even if in different measurements. Good job!

This app is a must have when grocery shopping!

With the economy the way it is, an app like this is invaluable. Heading out and doing your shopping vs any product really you can use this to help you figure out what is the best deal on the spot. You can change your units and compare so you know that your getting a deal. I have used this a few times and it has already proven itself.

I was tired of comparing different unit pricing measures to determine the best price. This does it all. Can't wait for 3.0 to come out.

Small and simple solution to a common common shipping question, which is otherwise much more tedious and error prone to solve using generic tools like a calculator app. No useless unnecessary features.

Last upgrade removed my application!! Requesite now is 3.1.3.

I love this because when I'm in a store, I don't want to spend a lot of time. The interface on this app is so simple to use and it's fast!

I've been using the app for a while now and it's the best companion to shopping. I'm able to check savings right there between the different sizes and costs of the items. It tells me whether shopping in bulk is actually better than buying per unit. It's amazing! I only wish they would make in in a widget and a website, instead of just limiting it to the app. Well worth the cost!

It takes some of the confusion out of budget shopping, which is only a good thing.

There are a bunch of similar apps out there and I have tried a good number of them. Compare Me is my favorite one out of them all. It is easy to use and funtional. It is also very cool looking which makes it that much better! -Literary GrowL

Very easy to use. Clean design. Just waiting for a memory area to be able to save my comparisons so that I don't have to re type them each time in the store. Simply bring one up from memory and update any information that might have changed then re compare. Keep up the good work.

My grocery store does not give unit price on SALE items. This app tells me if the sale item is really a good deal. So easy to use. I LOVE it, and so will you!

I compared it with several similar apps. Deleted the others.

This is one of the top 10 apps I use. It's intuitive and simple. It does exactly what I need it to do. I use it all the time at the grocery store, and it saves me time.

CompareMe is very easy to use. A reviewer that couldn't use it for drinks simply did not understand it. There is nothing wrong with this program.

I wanted to do s simple calculaton, to compre and see if 20 bottles of 20oz water for $3.00 was a better deal then 24 oz of water for $3.29. I don't see how this app can do it??

I was at the supermarket on Saturday night and I decided to use one of these price comparison apps to compare the price of Crystal Lite Peach Iced Tea (whether to buy enough to make 8 quarts or 12 quarts, at 2 different prices of course). The iPhone app I had on my phone at the time was 'Compare It' but I found it confusing to use and not very user friendly. When I got home from the supermarket, I went into the App Store and started searching for similar apps. Of the 4 or 5 other ones I found, I liked this one, 'CompareMe', the best, but when I went to the developer's web site to find out if I could compare volume size in terms of US quarts, US quarts was not listed, and so I was kind of bummed out. Then I decided to e-mail the developer to find out if US quarts was going to be added as a measure of volume in a future release, as another reviewer mentioned how responsive the developer was to his/her input. Well, I woke up early this morning (Sunday) to find an e-mail from the developer thanking me for pointing out that US quarts was not listed on his web site as a volume of measurement, as he told me that US quarts is a volume of measurement available for use in the application but that he had forgotten to include it on the web site. I thought, "Wow! What terrific support, even on a weekend when you wouldn't expect to get a response back so quickly!". I then checked the developer's web site and US quarts was now listed as a volume of measurement that can be used by the app. So the developer was not only responsive to me individually regarding my question but he also was quick to update his web site to include the previously missing information. I proceeded to purchase the app, I tested it out based the price comparison I was doing at the supermarket last night, and it was so much easier and much more user friendly than the 'Compare It' app I used to have, which I have since deleted. And after I used 'CompareMe' to make the price comparison, it was nice to see the compared savings in terms of not only how much money I saved in buy the 8 quart package vs. the 12 quart package, but also in terms of % of difference. So I wholeheartedly recommend this application if you you're looking for a price comparison app to get for your iPhone/iTouch, not only because of its ease of use and user friendly interface, but also because of how quickly the developer is in responding to concerns/inquiries you may bring to his attention.

Have been using this app for a few years now. Great for comparing prices of any two items. Comes in handy when you're at a store that doesn't give you a per item cost. Found that a lot of times the "giant economy size" isn't as economical as smaller sizes of the same item. Great idea for an app!

There's nothing automatic about this app. You have to fill out all the parameters on each & every item before you can comparison price anything. Very time consuming. More trouble than it's worth.

This app helps to determine the deal... which surprised me to learn sales aren't always the best deal. Use it at every grocery store visit. My kids use it when we shop now too.

I love this application. CompareMe allows you to check the cash and percentage premium/discount you get with two different products, based on the quantity, package size (in similar or different measurements), and price. You can even drag and drop values from one product to the other and type in your own premium and discount values. This not only allows you to easily pick what products give you the best value for your money, but helps you with bargaining too! The interface is very user-friendly, so you'll be hagging like a pro in no time!

I'm no longer bamboozled by the confusing labeling and excessive variety of sizes of sodas and boxes of cereal

Wow!! This app has just made my life SO much easier!!!

It saved me a quarter today during a debate on which sodas should I buy lol, really good app though seriously It helps and does exactly what it says it does compares two items and gives you the best deal and how much you save :)

I bought this app because I needed to know which was a better deal on lactose free Milk: (A) 1.89 L for $2.99 or (B) 96 FL oz. for $5.85--well there was a bug with FL oz. so I wrote the developer and they thanked me for detecting the problem and had it fixed and updated with a few days. Very responsive--and it turns out I was overpaying by 23% when buying option (B). But CompareMe can also help with setting specific prices, margins or or discounts (great for store owners/sellers of any kind) and even help negotiating a deal. Would be great if you could save comparisons for future use if prices changed or if you could email them.

This is a very useful app and will pay for itself the first time you find yourself a better deal with it.

I don't use it everyday but when I need it this little app comes in handy.



Don't leave home without it!

Ok so how many people go shopping and wonder if buying the larger container of juice/cereal/laundry detergent is a better value? Well this will resolve every question about it!!! I can now price compare from store to store much more easily. I am so very in love with this app. It makes budget shopping easier, now if only it would take my coupons into consideration it would be rated a 6 out of 5! Lol.

I liked so much this application, it helps me a lot to make good decissions when I go shopping. The interface is very clear and easy to use. I use so much! Moreover, it is very cheap and worth for what it offers to you because you will save a lot of monye using it! Then, don't hesitate and buy it! (Torakaru)

Why is it stuck on nautical mile?

This app is a wonderful way to compare different items and thus will help you to save money if used. My one gripe is that I cannot stand the numeric keyboard layout. It is upside down from a normal calculator. Perhaps some don't really care, but for those of you used to a normal calculator keypad, it takes extra time to input your values because the numeric keys are not where you expect them. I would hope that the developer would correct this, or in the very least, provide a toggle option so you could choose your preferred layout. Once corrected, I'll give that fifth star. Updated on 3-2-09: Imagine that, the developer did correct the keypad. I absolutely love it when they listen to their customers. I've changed my rating to five stars. I'll provide that all elusive sixth star if you provide a bit of audio feedback on the keypad (click sound) so as to make it "feel" more like real buttons rather than just a piece of glass that it is ;-) But as it stands, this is one excellent app at doing what it was designed for.
