I already did all the steps to activated my credit card and I cannot used it. And also I want to pay with my card and I cannot. I have to do my purchase with a different card and lost my 20% off.

They make their app sooo easy to use, never glitches and you can filter it so easily to find anything specific that you want. The only thing I’d want to change is I’d like to be able to sort the things in your wishlist so you don’t have to go searching every time you’re ready to buy something.

The clothing and shoes are amazing! Great quality and great selection!

Please fix your US app so it works properly outside the US! I can download it since I use US iTunes but when traveling outside the States consistently get the “network error” message. AE is one of the only major online retailers I’ve discovered that consistently has this problem. I live on a military base overseas & shop in USD & ship to APO. Your customer support has never been able to help resolve. Love shopping at AE, Aerie, etc. but very frustrating as an American customer to only be able to use the US app when visiting the States! Urban Outfitters & so many other competitors have this working just fine!

Best jeans ever still have mine from high school

The app is great I enjoy shopping from home and not having to go into the mall but when you go to check out if you’re not logged in and you don’t check out his guest everything you have disappears and you have to re-shop the entire site I thought I signed in when I originally open the app but it lost my order and I had to re-order just a waste of time but I love the product and I didn’t have much to do anyway so whatever it is what it is.

The gal at the store was awesome. They didn’t have a size and she ordered it and shipped it to me for free.

Had to change password twice, then it did not save basket so had to enter, typing in promo and awards number each time. Something that should have taken d minutes took an hour. Why can’t you remember the awards number or auto apply the promo code. It is so long to type out and g** forbid a typo so annoyed by this don’t think I’ll be doing my Christmas Shopping on this site.

I have updated the app and still have problems with ordering, this has happened multiple times; I try to order an item it says is in stock but then when I go to pay it says the item is not available and to delete it from the cart. But when I go back and check for the item again it says it is still in stock. This is extremely frustrating. Please fix this! Nothing against AEO clothes they are excellent but this app is very frustrating and it has been like this for over a year now even with all of the updates.

First of all both my shorts combined led me to $47 and apparently free shipping is for $50 I think that is completely an unreasonable price. I think that free shipping should be on everything. I don’t like how long it takes to ship and i especially don’t like that i have to pay $7 more off my purchase to get my shorts 3 weeks later.

Always glitching

I got quite frustrated when trying to check out. A shirt that I wanted showed that it was available, yet when I went to checkout, it wasn’t available any more. This happened three times with three different items.

The app is organized well and easy to navigate. However, it always glitches when I try to add items to my bag. This happens on my laptop as well as the app on my phone. I’m not sure if it’s not compatible with Apple products, or if the app needs updated. I cannot shop here because of the glitches, making the app fairly useless.

I would like to see search capability though

I’ve tried consistently to use this app several times over the summer and it will not add my items to the bag. I’ve called to notify them about this and they just said delete app and reinstall it. I did this several times and it still does not work!

I love AE but just a few minutes ago i placed an order and was not told what billing info i used until the order went through. this was EXTREMELY stressful. thankfully i was able to cancel the order before my other card was charged. i feel there should be a more efficient way of seeing what billing information you are using without having to go into settings and checking. maybe being updated at checkout that you are sure you want to use the card that it is charging? other than that WONDERFUL app and always a delightful experience.

I love everything about this app. Being able to buy my favorite brand of clothes while being on my couch or being out in public is great. Especially being a student I never have time to go to the mall to shop. This app is perfect. I love the convenience of it and the sales are amazing!

This app is great! Very easy to figure out sizing and ordering.

This app is easy to use. My only problem is somewhere in logging in on the app and using my rewards account in the store I lost credit for all of the jeans I have bought. With my daughter, son and myself all wearing AE jeans, I know I had some pairs that are not showing.

Without fail, every time I use this app, it will crash while I’m shopping or when I’m about to check out. It’s always a network error. I’ll reset my WiFi, force quit the app and reopen it, log out and log back in, and restart my phone, and it’s still just a loading screen that eventually turns into a network error with a retry button that never does anything.

Every bra I own from Aerie is comfortable and feels great! The underwear patterns are cute and the material is great! It makes me feel comfortable to shop for these types of things online and this app makes it easy!

Facebook, Twitter, Google and LinkedIn account logins would be great for this app!

This app has not been working like it should.It always tells me a Network error has occurred.I reported it and customer service was really amazing but she said maybe it could be my network.I told her my other apps open up just fine with no issues.Hopefully they fix this issue soon.

I was upset because the ad said download your app and get 20% off first order. So I did download and when it came to 20% off then they said I had to apply for a credit card. So needless to say I did not get 20% off.

I wish that the app would put outfit sets together

I like it, but certain things I miss compared to the web page. The product pages only show overall product ratings without the fit, comfort, etc. ratings the web page has. I also miss the way the web page lets you filter jeans or bras by style; the app doesn’t filter products as intuitively. But it works and I got a discount so can’t complain too much!

I always love shopping online, and AE makes it so easy to shop!

I downloaded the app while in the store and scanned the items I wanted to purchase. When I went back to place the order all of my items were no longer there so I had to hope that I remembered all of the items in the right colors I had originally scanned. Then I decided to delete one item and the app froze in the check out screen so I had to refresh the app by turning my phone off and on and then start the process all over again. Really frustrating.

Please add shoprunner capabilities on the app! Thank you!!!!!!

Love AE clothing

Much better than it used to be but still not that great. I haven’t used it for maybe a year or two because I had an awful experience with an order that I tried to place on it before, but now that the closest aerie to me is about 2 hours away, I’m finding myself having to order online and thought I would take advantage of the 25% discount that they’re offering in the app. I was having a lot of trouble with things loading and I definitely can’t recommend using it if you don’t have access to WiFi. Sometimes I couldn’t even get the app to start up. I like the features and ordering was easy once I waited a good while to see pictures of what I wanted to order.

I have never purchased anything off the app because it doesn’t connect with shoprunner for free shipping so I always have to do it using the traditional url website.

I absolutely love this app. It never logs me out, sends me codes for money off, and always has the best selection of clothes. The app is very organized and makes each category easy to find.

The first time I filled my shopping cart and went to place my order and ERROR popped up saying I needed to add merchandise to my bag. I had 10 items in my bag. I had to go back and remove and re-add everything before it would let me place my order. Frustrating.

Navigation is easy to use. Quick check out. Love the additional discounts by purchasing through app.

Saves my aero credit card so I don’t have to look for it. Tells me when I have rewards to apply and just applies it with one click. Filters are great and easy to search returns are easy. Keep it up aeo

it says I have version 5.8.0 but won’t let me into the app and just reroutes me here?

The website is easier to navigate. Filled my cart up online then had to re fill it on the app to get the discount for the day. The app kept adding leggings to my order I had previously removed. I update my card info and it just kept adding leggings back on my order! Very frustrating

I would rather use a browser or go to the physical store. The app is slow to load and could be easier to navigate. That said, most of my clothes come from AE, so no complaints about the products!

Dislike that some of these items aren’t available in the US

I have used this app for a few years and I love it! Also, AEO products are high quality and last me forever! All my undergarments are aerie. They are also awesome about size exchanges. Send you a postal stamp in case something does not fit and you have to send it back!

Amazing but I wish they had the pants lengths like short and long in store.

I really like this app because it’s easy to find the best jeans and not have to go through the whole store to look for them!

This website is amazing! I can easily choose and have the option to customize my selections and it isn’t a hassle at all. The only issue that I would like to have solved is when I reach the ‘place order’ button, it shows in red lettering that some of the items are out of stock and it’s upsetting because it showed they were available. I understand that the updating isn’t completed; however, it will be days and weeks that it still happens. Hopefully this issue can be solved by having it updated correctly. Besides that I am still satisfied as a customer when I recieve all my shippings (:

I usually don’t write reviews but this is one bad app. I can’t click on anything without it saying ‘error’ and they still have Christmas updates when Christmas has passed. No updates available either. I don’t understand how this has a 4.8, it’s worth a 3 at best. Save your time and use a computer. This app is awful.

Every time you try to open to see your points the app shuts down it’s so frustrating I’ve deleted the app and re downloaded it and nothing helps it’s just really poorly made I messed ae support on the chat and all they can say is that it’s a glitch maybe you should fix the glitch if you know it’s there

The American Eagle, and aerie app are extremely easy to use. On top of that, they send you notifications, letting you know when certain sales are going on. Getting deals, and when you connect with AEO connect, they have rewards after buying a number of certain merchandise. Such as jeans, and bras. Also earning points, birthday rewards, etc,. 100% recommend downloading.

I attempted to order 3 days in a row. Could not get a gift card and eventually when order went through it was cancelled because 1 item was not available.

I picked out a pair of jeans it was sold out online. Then I went to place an order and two of the pairs of jeans I was trying to buy became sold out. So that is three pairs I was trying to buy that were sold out. I mean I was ready to buy and didn’t tell me there were sold out of two until then. So sad

okay seriously never had problems for any store like i have with you guys. before school started i ordered 3 pairs of pants, never got them. turns out they were lost during the transfers (not your fault). but the fact that i reordered them they sent the wrong pairs of pants, which was super stressful and now the app keeps logging me out. this is getting so irritating and i shouldn’t have to spend so much money on something that has so much problems. please fix or i’ll be showing else where! :/

Love the AE app! Super easy to use and the fingerprint scan for password option is NICE! As far as functionality at times it can be annoying that items are showing on the app but if you click on them you get an error message "Error 200" and "Product details unavailable"

While the app is great and has a impressive selection of things. It is not perfect, and needs some fixes. When adding a credit card or gift card, the apply button doesn’t seem to work, the the spaces filled become blank when you scroll down and then back up to them. It might just be me with this issue, but it makes online shopping a nightmare when you can’t input the method of payment due to the apply button not working.

I have a horrible time with this App. I can’t ever sign in. It doesn’t recognize me. I have trouble checking out because it never sends a change password link to my email. It removed items from my cart as I checked out. It won’t store my AE credit card info because I’m always resetting the account. I’ve talked with cyst service & they have me use the website. What point is the app if I have to use the website.

I gave three stars because sometimes the app doesn’t work example the other day I was clicking on the specific item and instead of showing me the item it would search the item and then it will show me items that had similar words and said it never existed

The things I found did not have size or color I ultimately wanted, and every time I had to go back I had to redo cc info, and the scan part of the app for cc did not work... not happy...

I was buying sneakers that were on sale, and once I checkout the item that page shows the original price of the product without the discount. This is misleading.

This app makes shopping my favorite brand a breeze! I’m apart of the rewards program and this app makes it easy to check them and download them to my wallet. I’m able to get the latest deals right on my phone if I can’t make it to the store! American eagle will forever be my favorite brand, and this app just makes my love stronger. 💞

I tried buying jeans with a visa gift card it kept saying “could not verify please try a different card” which was very annoying because I knew it was right, after all I checked 5 + times. Finally after over 2 days of trying to order them it FINALLY worked. Looking forward to the jeans I’m hoping they were worth the hassle, (I needed to buy online because they were online only and I was told today was the last day of 40% off + free shipping)

My daughters love aerie sleepwear so I actually ordered something for myself thinking I can always give it to one of them if I don’t like it. The sleepshirt and eyelet boxers I ordered arrived in 3 days and I absolutely love them. The sleepshirt is sooooo comfy I now will be ordering several more all the women in my family

I’m truly amazed at the reviews on this app as it has never worked for me. I love American Eagle and their jeans. I haven’t found a brand of jeans that fits me better (since I have short legs) but this app is useless, half the time I can’t access my account, I’m constantly having to log back in, and you can forget about tracking an order. On my computer I can access everything very easily but seriously, it is so inconvenient to try to shop/track on my phone. I don’t leave reviews on apps very often but my experience with this seemed worth sharing my opinion.

App will crash sometimes. As well as when I click on some products it says “error” and won’t load and will go back to the tab I was on. Pictures of certain products won’t load either.

Grateful for a store that has both a store you can shop in as well as easy to use online app! The clothes are great & the prices are too! And free shipping!!

My daughter turned me in to eagle jeans after receiving my fist pair... I got rid of all other styles. I live the fit, comfort and styles. The first jeans that actually fit my body but type.. the only thing is the need to stock on line more short 16 sizes... I’m happy with how I look and feel in these jeans...

The app won’t let me log into my connected credit card. Every time I try to log in, it gives an error and says the request can’t be made at that time.

I always have trouble finding what I'm looking for, not all the tops are under "tops". You have to navigate from arie to aeo to find all the options available.

Stable build since my last experience. Updated User interface looks great and adjusting filters and updating selections worked quickly and smoothly. But really the stand out feature was the new option to create a Siri-shortcut to check on the status of my order, and with my own personal phrase. It’s extremely easy to set up and works great. -Using on iPhone XS Max. -Stable and speedy response -Siri-shortcut option is amazing! -Next Flex Skinny Jeans are amazing and never fail!

i really like this app

When trying to checkout I put several different jeans in my cart and several different times was told they were sold out. It is very annoying you don’t have some kind of software checking the availability before pressing the place order button. I had to put in my information several different times I eventually just gave up and only bought what I knew wasn’t sold out.

Best quality clothes. A little pricy but they do last for a long time. Great style

App is great.... when it decides to work. I spend half my time deleting and reinstalling it because the error is “check your network connections and try again”... it’s not my network.

Love the point system

I’m a big fan of shopping on the go. Twice now this app hasn’t allowed me to complete my purchase. I’ve had to call the customer service number in order to finalize the purchase. This is a pain because AE’s rewards and other promos have extraordinarily long codes that are prone to error over the phone and the order takes forever to complete. When will it be fixed? Didn’t work on iPad or iPhone yesterday...

I love shopping on the app but I’ve noticed that it doesn’t have the option to view items from a specific store. Personally, it would make my shopping experience a lot easier since I often like to reserve items to try them on in store instead of shopping online. Another feature that I think is needed is the option to view the size of the product the model is wearing and their height. Since I am not very tall, it is difficult to find tops that aren’t too long or too big, considering the models are usually very tall.

My first time using it, I got a 20% discount & noticed a “free jeans” promo - yay! BUT when I tried to check out several times, it wouldn’t go through. I tried my AE card and reg card, no. Finally I used PayPal & it went through - but then my receipt showed $147 instead of the $57 I had minutes before. I’ve now contacted them 3x in 2 wks to get the pricing fixed. Until that point (which is kind of important), the app was easy to use.

I tried ordering pocket leggings 10 times! Every time it let me add to my bag (didn’t say out of stock) yet once I tried to place my order it told me the color/size in my cart was out of stock and would be removed. 🙄

I think that American eagle has really nice cloth and the material is really nice. The only reason I gave it 3 stars because there “ models “ are REALLY UGLY. Some of there “ models “ have skin disease. Some of them have a hole between there teeth. Some of them are REALLY “big”. Some of them are bald. Some of them does not shave there armpits, and a lot more. You are supposed to get a beautiful person to represent your cloth and products and some people don’t like seeing these looks. I really like the cloth and want to buy but I cannot stand these people that you call “MODELS “ and represent you products. I want to look at the merchandise but I can’t. I never seen a clothing brand that has “models “ looking like that. It’s disgusting.

Bought a pair after my sister in law suggested. Wore them for about 2 hours & I love how light they feel, I immediately order 2 more in different colors before the day ended . Recommend this Jegging type material for curvy girls like me who have a hard time finding a pair of jeans that fit from waist to hips .

I love the app, easy to use, but I am frustrated because by the time I had went to go place my order there were quite a few things that claimed they were no longer available and they were the main reason for ordering.

I luv the deals and how easy it’s is to place orders, totally changes shopping!!

Be careful when ordering through AE or Aerie. Customer service is the worst and you will not want to deal with. They never help you or are willing to fix their own mistakes/websites and app issues. They never help you and don’t care about you as a client. Very dissatisfied with AE.

The AE website said once I downloaded this app, a 25% discount would be applied to my order. However, They refused to give you that discount until you place your order meaning you are buying something without knowing the full total of the price which is absolutely ridiculous. Normally stores will apply the discount in the checkout area before the transaction. I don’t feel comfortable with the aspect of trusting my discount will be applied after I purchase something...

App needs some work but love American Eagle overall

If this app had the option to choose Shop Runner for free expedited shipping, I would give this app a 5 stars. I loose out in free 2 day shipping though this app. So I either have to wait the full 5-7 business days or pay for 2 day shipping w/out. Super frustrating! Everything about the app is great other than this missing option. Why is this not currently available on the app? Please fix!

Why doesn’t your site check the stock quantity BEFORE it allows you to place an item in the cart. I get very annoyed when I am checking out and then I am notified an it isn’t available.

This app crashes a lot. Aside from that it made my phone freeze and it was very frustrating. Although the app makes it easy to browse for what you’re looking for.

i downloaded the app to try for the first time. i added the items i wanted to my cart and went to check out. after putting all my personal info in i hit place order, and was notified that one of the items in my cart had sold out. i went and picked out a different item in its place, and it happened AGAIN. so i went to find a third replacement item and it happened AGAIN!! it’s so frustrating that app is showing items in stock when they aren’t. i won’t use the app again.

I added the same item to my cart several times before I could get it to keep it there. By the time I finally had everything ready to pay the item went out of stock. I was told I couldn’t get the item ordered in the store either. Deleting the app.

I only used this for the 25% off. It was painful to use. I’m on an ipad. No landscape. Trying to fill in fields required patience. The pop up keyboard worked really weird compared to other more robust apps. I used the web page and then just checked out. Deleting it. And, I also dislike this push from every site to use their app. For the majority of sites, the web browser is far superior on an iPad and it doesn’t clutter up my iPad with a bazillion apps.

I’m a big guy, six foot eight. Nothing fits me. For some reason AE does and if it doesn’t I can return it no problem! I love the quality of the clothes they offer! Pants last me 6 months at least before I bust a hole in the crotch and the zippers on the pants almost never work. Idk why?🤔 Thankfully, I have sewing skills. The life of a giant is difficult, AE is exacatally my style and they offer great prices and screaming deals! I sign up for their text and email notifications so I’m always getting the best deal for quality clothing! Thanks AE 💜 You've got a lifelong customer in me! If only you catered more to giants like me then I’d be styling in my grave! I’m talking 34 length jeans and extra tall tops! 😉 A giant can dream!

a simple order ended up taking 50+ minutes. it was offering me things to then tell me it was out of stock when i was checking out. their promo codes don’t work. i had to repeatedly put in info. i am disappointed.

Designed for mobiles but does not scale to iPads.

This website is very fun to shop on. However, I find that many of the models are all generally demonstrating how the clothing would look on very similar body types. Diversity is key!!! Many of the articles of clothing also have a tendency to only have sizes in the smallest or largest sizes. This would be a good piece if information to know when looking at the clothes on the main page.

This app is one of my favorites, the use of it is smooth. Searching for items is easy. I love everything about this app.

The developers do an amazing job at updating this app regularly with the latest features. I love AE so I use this app multiple times a week. Sometimes I’ll go on the app just because I’m obsessed with the ease of it😂 Great job keep up the good work
