Reviewed on 8/28/19 2:08 PMThere’s no settings at all! You can’t set your article reading preference ie text color or text size. There’s no theme color adjustments, you’re better off with the Wikipedia app.

Reviewed on 8/28/19 2:08 PMDisappointing. After saving a number of pages it periodically crashes and I lose everything. Happened several times. The idea is good but useless if it crashes every so often wiping everything out.

Reviewed on 11/16/18 7:41 PMWhat I am *really* liking about Wiki Squared is the focus it gives me on Wikipedia. I have bookmarked the same sets of articles multiple times in multiple ways on my computer with the intention of using them as a reference. But Wikipedia is so vast, and the links take me far afield, and soon I'm lost with 30 tabs open, and I never really get to my research. Bookmarks are difficult and static. With Wiki Squared, I have an organized subset of Wikipedia on my iPad. The keywords allow me to group and access the pages easily. I especially like that the pages are automatically brought locally resident. It all works seamlessly. Access Wikipedia like normal, and every page you access is brought local to the device. Keywords are a great way to organize them. As you view each article, you can easily assign any or all of your existing keywords or create new keywords as the need arises. As you choose a keyword from the list, it moves to the assigned stack and disappears from the potential stack. Very clear. Tap, tap, tap, and you are organized. The article titles are shown in an index. One can view the index in alphabetical order or in chronological order. From the index one can use keywords to narrow and focus the search. As one crawls through Wikipedia, and the articles are brought local, you can use the page forward and page back icons to quickly navigate through your pages. No more long line of open tabs. Since the articles are local, they are never lost and you can easily navigate to them again. Articles that are of fleeting or no interest can be easily pruned off the top of the chronological history. For me, the "Keep track of where I go and save it all, and I'll clean it up later" works better than "Do I want to remember this article or not, and do I need to take an action before I lose it?" The latter is how I've always had to use Wikipedia before Wiki Squared, and it always left me with a lost hopeless feeling as I wandered the vastness of Wikipedia. I have long lists of dusty bookmarks on my computer that I may or may not be interested in viewing again. With Wiki Squared, the articles that remain after I do a little pruning are the ones I value, and they are easy to organize, find and view. The developer is active and responsive. I have had the opportunity to exchange emails with the developer, and I get the sense that this is a vibrant and growing application with a great future. Wiki Squared has revolutionized the way I use Wikipedia, and I highly recommend it. Randy

Reviewed on 11/16/18 7:41 PMI have always liked Wikipedia. I was using my iPhone version of Wikipedia until I spotted this new iPad version. I gladly paid the $0.99 if nothing more but to support this great reference media. However, I do like the new version and highly recommend.
