App gives limited information for free, then you need to upgrade to Premium level.

Information can vary but often provides address and phone number.

I love this app to look up unknown callers and check addresses, plus it’s totally FREE!

I often use the number look up feature to see if the number is a potential spam/fraud. If it looks weird, it gets blocked! Thanks White Pages

Worth the money! Don’t bother with the free apps if you are looking to get down to bare brass!!!

Quite often, the white pages will say a business can’t be found when I’ve put it in exactly as it’s spelled & how the business spells itself. Infuriating sometimes.

Buyer beware of premium account. High prices and lousy customer service. I was a regular customer and requested a very reasonable adjustment to my account and was treated with apathy. Supervisor was only slightly more helpful. Took me almost an hour to receive satisfactory results. FYI the free account is worthless.

I always know that the best chance for me to find a person is to go to the White Pages app. Good work.

What happened with this app. I used it consistently to find numbers of people I needed to do work for. Now it won’t give me info unless I pay for 20 searches. That’s crap. Was a good app before

I just updated my app and I so wish I had not!!! Now instead of giving a landline number as it did before it now provides a blurred cell phone number. After trying to locate information on several people I put in a request for an individual who I knew did not own a cell phone and only has a landline. What did I get ...no landline information and a blurred cell phone number which doesn’t exist. Do not and I repeat do not update your information —it is a rip off for you to purchase a plan to get more information instead of being upfront and providing you with the information you are requesting as it had before.

Don’t use it a lot but today when I did (after some updates to the app) it just freezes after I do a search and select the person to view. 👎🏻 👎🏻

I no longer use this app because it appears one now has to pay for a phone number and/or an address. We already no longer have a decent telephone book for addresses, and now we’re unable to look them up thru your service. Worthless piece of junk app!

Looked up own # only to find my brother-in-law, sister-in-law & nephew listed as well. They have never even visited let alone resided here. They live in another state. There is apparently no way to edit any information. This app getting deleted!

I’ve had more difficulty finding data on the upgrade that I never had when searching Whitepages former system. It’s not as user friendly. :(

They wanted me to upgrade for ANY information. I’m not paying for basic info. Sorry. Would have paid for MORE info, but basic info... not a chance. Nope.

They’ve had plenty of time to work with the beta version. I type in a name and get a spinning wheel when I click on it until I just force close the app. Same thing when I reopen. I am a premium member and this is not cool.

Are used to use this app all the time! Then it started locking up. I erased it from my iPhone 7 and reloaded it but it locks up on the welcome screen

This use to be an ok app! Now it’s totally worthless. They want to charge 14.00 a month to look up a phone number! NO THANKS! Deleting app! Goodbye!

This was a great app and my prior review was a full 5 stars. About 6 mos ago, it began to fail to find things. Now the latest version works just as poorly. Just like most other app updates, it has been ruined. Thank you!

I have had people stalk me because they have my phone number and first name. The executives of this company should be ashamed of themselves. You put so many people at risk. The powers of the Universe should make this service totally illegal. You should be liable for all of the stalking in the US

This App is terrific! If you are copying a number on another site it recognizes that you at copying a phone number, so when you open the app it automatically starts looking for the number!

Whitepages should expand the allotted searches per month!!! I need the old version of 200 searches for $9.99

Really like this app, but need to show the name of the owner of the phone number.

I just got the app and hope it works for going door to door or “field service”. Knowing who’s door I’ll be knocking on seems convenient. There was a Glitch in gps nearby search when I tried using the app the first time but it seems to work here at home. Hopefully that glitch gets fixed.

When I copy a number that I don’t not recognize and come search it, I see in the comments below that the number is spam or some solicitor trying to sell me something. It’s a very helpful service and I know for sure which numbers to block.

Never provides the name of the person you are reverse searching the number for unless you pay. What good is that??

Every time I try to number search a lot of times it just loads and loads and loads and never comes up with anything.

After the recent hurricane, I am so very pleased to find phone numbers of friends and relatives easily available. Eased my worried mind, thank you for a job well done. Five stars for sure. Dry in Raleigh.

I’m finding fewer listings. Now you want us to join, when I’m only looking for an address.

While I still use the app, I find it now involves more steps to get to the information I need and am looking for. It also seems to be missing a lot of numbers that I know used to be in here. I will search for a specific type of business (ex. Vet) and it shows me business that have nothing to do with the subject I searched (ex. Mechanic). Finally, if I search for something in a specific town or zip code, it would be nice to get results from a radius around that zip code, also. It used to do that. One zip code may not have something but it’s available in the zip code that neighbors it. Now, I’d never know that with the app.

This app is pretty handy to have on hand. After any unknown number I use it to reverse search the number and it’ll tell me if it’s a fraud risk and if it’s a legitimate business I need to call back. It can even give me the background on someone which is pretty good to have, although that is an extra fee.

(My review over two(?) years of experience - but read my review based on the latest app update that follows) One of the most useful apps on my phone. I recommend it to all my friends. This app allows me to check out those calls I receive from unknown (and thus, unanswered) callers. I just enter his phone number to identify if they are one of the "bad guys" (by scanning down the report to read complaints from others). If it's damning, I will block that number from future calls. Peace of mind comes cheap!! (UPDATED Sep 15, 2018) What was once an Essential App has become almost useless! The latest update has eliminated the ability to ‘copy and paste’ a phone number from the Recent list and check it out in the White Pages search page!!! This ‘copy and paste’ capability must be restored ASAP!

I got over the last update, no big deal...but now, no matter how I search, name, phone #, address??? I never get a result. Not on WiFi, not on mobile, not in numerous locations. It always appears to be “thinking” doing that spinner thing but never producing ANYTHING. Might be an update glitch, so...FYI. I’ll update once resolved. And I’m on an iPhone 8Plus if that helps.

I was very happy in the beginning as it worked so well, I even went and put a glowing review on how good I thought it was. But more and more number searches Were suddenly increasingly unable to be found when I searched till it finally seems almost none can be found. So, I still try from time to time and have to go to another app which finds the info practically every time. But a sense of nostalgia keeps me trying this one since it was like the first.

The White Pages app is my “go to” tool for finding addresses and phone numbers. It’s also a great tool for checking the phone numbers of all of those pesky and annoying robo-calls.

That is the only thing that frustrates me. When I first started using the app all information was listed. Now certain things will be blocked. If you want to see that you need to subscribe... boo!

Wish there a way you search a person based on an immediate relative

Always provides me with FREE information, whether I need an address, phone number or just to check on a phone number of someone who called. Recommend this app.

Need an address? Land line Phone number? Go to the White Pages web site and if listed, you will find it. Beats the old fashion paper phone book with its minuscule sized listings by a mile.

Earlier versions of this app were invaluable, but the latest version is just garbage. It’s less user friendly and the results are less accurate. Deleting!

The revenue focus built into app makes this app useless. The www is also worthless when it comes to finding contact information because it incomplete and or inaccurate. The yellow pages have also become useless because it cannot be read.

The new and improved white pages app is a great asset. Love the map function. The search feature is a great tool for the work I do. Thanks whitepages🖖

Not useful for most searches I do. Requires "premium". Even most landlines. $3.99 per search or $4.99 per month subscription? Nope! White Pages should do better than that. $4.99 for lifetime unlimited search I would buy. This makes more sense, because more and more people are using cell phones now. I hate app subscriptions, and simply don't do them. Most numbers they do for free can be found with a quick Google search. No need for this app anymore. Lost me after 6 years on my iPhone.

Most times I’m able to see who the anonymous call is coming from.

I like being able to look up numbers etc. I can’t find where searches can be deleted. Also the “nearby” function has old records. It’s showing previous tenants still in our house and some neighbors houses also from over three years ago. Please update the database.

This app has become totally useless. Rarely do I get a phone number without being solicited to buy “Premium.” I cant even get my own phone number. And forget getting doctors or businesses. Goodbye.

Downloaded the app. Subscribed to monthly plan and paid $4.99 Did a search and it asked me to pay again. Thought that was strange. Hit pay again and it say I’m already subscribed, yet I still can’t get the info. It just keeps asking me to pay.

How do use this app for years and haven’t had a problem. Others have complained about privacy issues but that is not my complaint. When I search for a person to give me a list of results. Very quickly at my dad. When I tap on one of the results to try to get the information to load that is when the app freezes and I am left looking at a spinning wheel and the app proceeds no further. I see develop a response very quick to issues posted in the review section of the App Store. Hopefully they can address this issue and an upcoming release. By the way I do enjoy the new slicker design. Don’t have any issues at all with the UI.

Good to look up people’s names for addresses for Garmin or mailing cards. Oftentimes, the phone number is listed as well as names of close relatives! .

This is the greatest and most useful app on my phone. It tells me which calls are spam, and so far, it’s ALWAYS been right. Highly recommend.

I could find everything before the new look took affect. But I think that they need to do a complete up date on information. After the new look I can’t find anything. All I get is not found. I know the Business is there just can’t get a address or phone number.

Old info and very poor results when looking for an address

I used the old version of white pages for MANY YEARS (10? Maybe), I recommended it to everyone as I often referred to it several times a day for business or individual references, phone numbers and directions, and also what businesses or people are close-by. It was an incredibly handy tool. With this new version I started off exasperated. One day it was just “worthless”. I rarely could find any reference I needed and info was randomly correct. It has improved with time, however, as of yesterday, I was looking for a Walgreens near me. It brought up a handful of the countless stores in my area (not all in the city I indicated, several listed were beyond that city). I selected the one near me (I was on that street). Info was either old or completely incorrect because there was no such store at the address given (as I passed “arrived”). I then called the number listed to confirm location and spoke to a man in another state, totally unrelated to the store or city. Luckily I knew where another store was a couple miles away so I went there. That actual location was not even listed on my original list of choices though. This app proves itself to be a ridiculously unreliable resource. I give 3 stars only because the app has improved over 6 months or so ... it’s still just hit and miss unfortunately, kinda like throwing dice. Also, I would not brag about this app to friends ... I keep on my phone mostly for possible correct info that I already have a general idea myself. It’s easy to tap for immediate directions (but only if the location info is correct). I will probably look for a more reliable resource if this app isn’t more effective soon (LIKE IT USED TO BE). Whatever they changed was a huge mistake. App is about 65% of what it once ALREADY WAS. Sometimes people change just for the sake of change, so they justify themselves. But I’ve learned that CHANGE doesn’t necessarily mean better, sometimes all it is is different. You asked for review, I submit my most honest opinion.

Great app but quite a few wrong or obsolete phone listings. Lack of phone contacts is a great disadvantage to what it used to be.

Used to be able to enter a phone number and owner name comes up. Now it’s hit or miss. The miss requires a fee. Not sure why this is necessary.

It’s all about money!!!!!!!!! Nothing is for free :-( Very disappointed I used this app for years and it was good. But, after last update it does absolutely nothing but charge you for everything. Must be a new developer who does not want to keep the reliable customers only the ones who s***** enough to pay for this piece of c*** app. Im switching to caller id. Its free and the search works. Slowly but surely we will all leave this app and the developers will have nobody. There are other choices still available

I paid for the monthly subscription and still can’t use it, after taking money and they still want me to pay for individual look up for 3.99. Just refund my money

Running iOS 7.1.2 (iPhone 4), WhitePages (v2.9.4) is still offered as an available download. But after installation, the app is completely non-functional. (As with other old versions of WhitePages, it won't connect to the server.)

This app no longer gives the ages of the people you are searching for. Age is a vital piece of information to assist in finding individuals.

App is ok but i think you could give more information on searches other than no information for your search and you have to pay for a search and you are not sure that information can be found so that’s why my rating is low.

This is my go-to site on my phone (and on my desktop for years). It is fast, efficient, and reliable in providing me names and addresses if I am not close to my phone book, address nook, or Christmas card lists! I appreciate your making some of my tasks easier.

Loved old version, hate newest version. Used to good for finding old friends.

I've used the app for probably over 6 years. I loved it. It gave me useful information. Then suddenly a few updates ago it would no longer get me info on mobile numbers even though I had paid for premium service. They wanted me to pay more on top of that to find out mobile number information. Since most of the information I needed was on mobile numbers, that would have been ridiculous. I stopped using it for several months. Now I've tried several times in the last few days to use the reverse phone look-up. The app has been totally useless. I have a good internet connection of 3 to 4 bars, and a fast speed (currently it's around 100 Mbps), and the app searches endlessly without ever giving a result for every number I try.

I appreciate that the white pages app is free for us to use daily. I would like to have more business address and telephone numbers. Some of the telephone numbers and locations on this app need to be updated as well. Thank you for asking for our opinion.

A Few weeks ago I wrote a scathing review of WP! Used to be great, not so much now! One of the web people contacted me to discuss my comments which was great! So I thought maybe it’s gotten better???? Nope!!! Looked for Auto Zone the Auto Parts store....got Albuquerque Sign Print, Farmers Insurance, Carzone Auto Sales, Phillip and Sons Auto and Tire! Amazing...the WP app has never heard of Auto Zone!!! Amazing...

I like the older version better ,as a delivery guy I could pull in front of the house and tell who lives there.

User friendly, but not wish they bring back the current location and it finds the exact address instead of just the city and state.

I have been hoping you will go back to the original version of this app. Miss the local nearby people map and when I’m looking up a person and touch on them for the information, it just keeps trying to load and never does. It’s useless. Very disappointed in this new format.

I think this is a great app that's simple to use. Sometimes the info isn't quite up to date or info is missing that I know should be there. I recommend it.

The title says it all but in addition to that they will always be happy to sell you the information you want.

It is a good source for reference but to navigate with name it must be exact makes the app difficult to use.

App easy to use and helpful quite often

This was once a great app. I could use it to find numbers for most people. If a number was not found, it would often tell me the address and family members at the same address. I now search for people I know and it can not find them. Before the app went south, it had an option for finding business phone numbers. It almost never failed to get a business number for me. It is basically worthless now. I have not found a phone number my last 12 tries.

The info in not updated I have been married over a year and it does not have correct info. This is info you already get off internet for free. It said additional purchase 6.99 when I pushed accept it jumped to 20.00. So 30 for info from internet for free

Privacy has changed and imo not for the good of mankind. Sure it’s easy to say ‘I understand your privacy concerns ‘ , AND here is what we are doing ! I personally don’t see that part of the equation explained and so I stand in ‘don’t go there if you are not comfortable !’ with someone else’s ideas of how they ‘understand ‘ anyone’s ideas of privacy. AMAF my privacy was invaded or hacked last year several times and I am still shocked. I’ve been on the interweb since day one and have never been hacked in anyway shape or form until last year when every account I had was either hacked or compromised in some way. So maybe we shouldn’t say ‘ I understand ‘ your concerns without adding the ‘AND’ here is what we are doing . I won’t waiting though so enjoy your idea of privacy and the day !

Waiting minutes on end, many times, I’ve finally thrown in the towel and deleted this app.

Look like a nice good app to see who’s calling. But then after I downloaded it, it turns I you have to pay $5 per month in order to see any name. They also never mentioned anything in the description that to actually use it, you have pay. In this day and age they should be able to make the revenues via advertisement.

July 2018 - Don’t know which update totally changed the app but now I find it annoying to use. Didn’t need the white pages to track purchases.

This app used to be very helpful now it can’t find me the number for the local Walmart. In the past 6 months this app has failed to find one number for me. I do better on Google. I have deleted the app.

Problems were taken care of and the app is better than expected. Update took care of all the problems. Good job guys.

I tried using this app to look up a phone number. It required me to sign up for a subscription to see the results. I selected the $4.99 subscription and then was instructed to agree to the Terms and the Privacy Policy, and to create an account. I read the Privacy Policy and it essentially says that WhitePages can share my account information with anyone and that they allow 3rd parties to collect information about my searches. I did not agree, so I did not proceed with the account creation. Without an account, I can’t access search results. WhitePages charged me for the account anyway. They shouldn’t charge until after an account is successfully created.

I have used this app for several months, perhaps years, but after recent updates I have found it basically useless. In only rare cases can it locate a phone number. It was my go-to app for phone numbers, but no longer. Sadly I need to find a new phone book app.

The last few upgrades made this app useless. I am deleting it.

What happened to people’s phone numbers. I don’t need a background check

I have use this app for years and paid for the premium subscription for years. It was $3.99 a month for unlimited and then it changed to $3.99 a month for 1000 searches. Which was fine because I never needed more than 1000. Now all of a sudden it’s $4.99 for 20 searches with the newest update. Every time I click on Restore subscription, all it does is spin spin spin it never pulls up my information. Very disappointed

This app used to be useful to find businesses now it only seems to find people since the last update.

And I don’t seem to use this app too much but I want to delete the account so they don’t charge me no more

It used to be possible to put in a phone number and if it was listed in white pages it would reveal the name, at no charge. Not any more.

Well i havent used whitepages for long, but for the 2 or 3 months that i have, its been amazing! It gives u alot of information while other apps like to limit your searches. My only complaint would be to at least give some sort of trial so we could at least do ONE full person search without charging. Thank you!

It seems every time I use this app I get blocked out! What’s the use if I can’t even search 5 addresses! I hate going pro, I’d be willing to deal with ads- but being totally blocked out really irritates me! And paying to get just 20 is ridiculous! Give me unlimited and I might consider paying for it!

Purchased a monthly premium subscription thru iTunes and never received the access. Contacted the customer service and had to prove multiple times with, bank records and other proofs that I had purchased a premium monthly account and still don’t have access to its features. Don’t, and I mean DON’T, purchase a premium monthly subscription cause more then likely you won’t get it and get the run around to prove you purchased it

I don’t know why they felt the need to change the interface (the program), but they ruined a very useful app. Now it will not find much of what I am trying to find. Any suggestions for a replacement? I’m deleting White Pages.

This app is one of the few apps I use daily. It is extremely useful in particular in locating people close to a particular address, ie.neighbors. I really couldn’t do daily business without this app it’s that useful.

The changes have made it useless I can not find anything at all.

I don’t subscribe to any white pages premium search service- yet I found the now grown, twice married, moved to Florida woman who grew up in my house, the daughter of the previous owner. They moved away 38 years ago! I was trying to connect this woman with her long ago college boyfriend, who sent a letter here addressed to her or to “current resident”. I found her brother on Facebook ( name unchanged, being male) and now having his full name including middle name, found his relatives on the white pages advanced search. There is a very small profile, but it showed the town she was from, and both married names. I forwarded the guy’s letter to her, to take what action she wished, and was rewarded with thank you notes and a gift from both of them about a month later. I’m not a detective or a techie so the credit doesn’t go to me. I’m impressed with both Facebook and the White Pages!

Gave details on the number that kept calling me (at inopportune moments where I couldn’t answer) informing me on what other people were called about from the same number, along with how many times that number had been searched today, this week, and this month.

I do not like all the pop ups on the site selling something.

I used to be able to report spam and fraud calls, but in one of the updates, that went away, as did some of the basic caller source info. IT IS BACK! That is one of the most useful features when I find the missed calls listed on my hard-wired phone. I no longer have to guess which friend it could have been. It is even useful to know where the call connected to the phone wires, since so many connect at the same place. A quick look at the map tells me it was spam or fraud. I also use it to find friends' addresses and phone numbers when I need them, as well as businesses while I am away from the paper phone book and computer. I have used it for years. It even shows me who my neighbors are down the street.

It even picked 5 stars not me!! It used to be a great app. Quick trying to upgrade everything. They really messed this up!!! If it’s not broke then leave it alone.

There is no way to cancel from your subscription settings on your iPhone like any other LEGIT app does. Then after visiting the apps cancellation are of the website it tells you to login to the account.. the funny thing is there is not a way on their website to cancel either!! Ah make it hard or make it a scam.. yeah I see. It has been reported to Apple. Update to developers response. Even Apple looked at app and it’s not even giving the customers an option to cancel. Wish I can post a pic but can’t.

What can I say except, a total 5 star performance!

I love this app! I use it for looking up address when I am mailing out invitations, looking for directions, or when I am just curious as to who lives in a particular address.

New version of app will not let you delete your history unless you delete the app and reinstall it. Such a waist of time.

I’ve had this app for some time but it has become more worthless with each update. It isn’t worth the 1 star in my opinion. Doesn’t list businesses that exist, gives names of people in other states that are of no interest to me.

It was extremely helpful because if you were unsure of where the company was located, you simply search that company and you could find one closest to you. Better than a lot of info services.

Every update, the app gets worse and worse. Now, we have lost the ability to determine a person’s age. What is the point in calling it an upgrade or improvement, when all you do is remove functionality? I’ll find something more informative.

The older version of the app was much user friendly and more useful than the update. Oh how I wish I could do away with the update.

When this app can not find a Staples in my area that I know is there, it’s essentially useless. Don’t waste your time with this one!

The new update is terrible. You will lose all of your history, which makes you search again for something you already paid for.

This is a truly poor app. It can’t find ANYTHING or ANYONE, even though the person or the business exists. It also has an exceptionally poor ability to intelligently search nearby towns. It will “hit” maybe 1 in 5 tries. One used to be able to do reverse number searches (handy when weeding out spam from missed calls), but now it’s strictly a device to drive one to sites for which you must pay to get that information. As I said, this app is crap. Once upon a time it worked but now it just clutters my phone... until I delete it in a couple of minutes.

I’ve (tried to) use this app for years, but the logic in the search engine does not seem any better than it ever was. I can use Google Maps to search for a business, and it uses logic that doesn’t depend on necessarily being perfectly precise. For example, I can enter “Carpet Mills” in Denver, CO. Even though the location I’m looking for is in a nearby suburb, and the correct name doesn’t contain an ‘s’, google will find it, and WhitePages won’t. This means I have to already know the precise name and city for WhitePages, but not Google. Also, many times even when I do enter the exact name and city (corroborated by Google), no results are found. When I am occasionally able to find a business in WP, it’s very convenient to be able to add the entire contact to my address book, but the search engine is so poor, that I seldom try anymore. Google hits it nearly 100% of the time.

The previous version listed exact age so you were more sure you were getting the correct person. Now you are maybe within 10 years. Nice try, no cigar!

This is a quick and easy way to check phone numbers to be sure you know you are dealing with. A great way to get phone numbers for businesses, especially local ones. If you are sending cards, you can make sure you have the address right.

The White pages app is very helpful. I enjoy having it on my phone.

App is completely broken. Clicking on a name after a search just gives you a spinning white circle that never does anything. What a shame, this was a very useful app.

This was my go to app for addresses/phone numbers, etc. Now, I put in information to be researched, and get no information. I've done this with a number of names/locations and it hasn't been working for some time.

In order to get the phone numbers, you must pay. When the phone directories were delivered, they were free, calling information was free. The app costs

Really appreciate the new function where it tells me that the missed call (reverse look up) was probably a telemarketer. I have used this app for years to find business numbers and even track down old friends. It has always been spot on with the #s it provides. Seldom disappoints by not locating a #.

What about bringing back the website option. Look up a business and be able to go to the website. Then a general look up. Type in a business, movie theater. Then see theaters in the city.

Until a few months age one could type in a name and city and reveive a phone number and address. No more. Now it’s like every other site and demands money for phone numbers. What happened? Guess i need to return to the older book versions of White Pages.

Finally a true web-based directory that I can look up phone number and address of people in my city without paying or having the the website put **** and ask me to pay for background check. Refreshing!

The price changed and now it’s no longer UNLIMITED it’s 20 lookups a month for more money. It doesn’t make ANY SENSE to ask for more money for less usage. The reason I originally purchased it was because of the unlimited. Most updates fix problems this update caused problems. Thank you for your services for the last 2 yrs but I WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY PRESCRIPTION!

I like the way that it can take a phone number and tell me if it was important or just another annoying hangup call...

I have just now received contact info for family info that I needed today, but I have other family that I have not been able to get in touch with through your services.

I found out the girls name- further on he still lied to me that he didn’t know her, I called her- she lied as well that she didn’t know him. I went through the social media of his family members —-> found her! Confronted him he still lied. Showed him the picture and said I’ve seen them together! And finally admitted. So with the help of this APP I was able to figure out why my husband’s been acting strange - so I’m very grateful

I’ve had this app quite a while now. The improvements have been constant, the results most often fast and accurate. It is intuitive and user friendly, especially for someone like me who spent most of my years in the paper phone book world. Wouldn’t be without it.

I no longer answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I'll check them here and report spam calls. Very helpful. Still my first stop for unwanted calls. Added comment: the new update makes it harder for me to report calls or comment on my calls.

Much as I like it, I hated that the price jumped $30 in one month and I don't even have any features differently that I use it. I think it's a rip off. But I like it for what I can use it for. It just is pricey.

What happened? Users were able to clear their search history. When I looked it up, it shows going to "dashboard" and then "edit". The WhitePages app I have has no way of going to a so called "dashboard". Now what???????????

I get on average 4/10 calls a day from tellamarketers but this get that. HELLO Where the f__k did they get my cell number? It’s illegal to use people cell numbers without their permission or be able to find their number without their permission so what I do is I use Whitepages I find out who called and then I called them back and if the answer they’ll never call that number again I make sure that thanks white pages let’s get some of this bull you know what the you know what off the Internet

Quick and easy to use

I too liked the original app. Much easier. I could enter the name, city and/ or state and get good results. Also reverse lookup gave you the number keyboard making it easier to type numbers. Not sure where you get your information. It has me at 2 locations even though I entered the city and state. And I have never lived at the other location. On top of that there’s no entry for my husband. Go figure!! The other way was more user friendly I thought.

In general this is a great app. What I’ve recently noticed is that little charges now and again appear. Boo, hiss. If they keep doing this, ratings will go down. Used to be in the olden, less tech savvy days in the midwest you could dial 796-9600 & for free, you’d get the same basic info of name and address.

this is really illegal. It is against the privacy policy. anyone can search anyone and get all the personal information about somebody with out their permission. how do you get my information on your database with out my permission. I hope this app and website get shut down.

When the app works it’s great! But often times I do a search and it just says “Oops something went wrong.”

I installed this app as well as the premium subscription. I don’t understand why I am receiving calls from numbers that are already listed as spam or other problem caller by users. I will try it a little while longer. My suggestion would be to have the ability to block all calls without a name associated to the number.

I can count on white pages nearly 96% of the time and I’m 100% satisfied with it! I’m also impressed with how it ties into my address book for easy referencing. Keep up the good work and continue updating to keep it at the top.

I’ve had this app over a year and it does what I need. My only complaint is when the call is spam there is no further information given. I’d still like to know if there is a name or title associated with the number. So far there hasn’t been a month that I don’t need to use it.

This used to be a great app but this company got greedy. Now I have to pay to use it. I can just as easily go to Google and find the info I want for free. There are also other apps and sites out there that are just as good and FREE! I am deleting this app right after I’m done with this review as it is useless to me now. This is what happens when a company gets greedy - it loses users.

I do not answer unidentified or suspicious looking phone numbers. A quick check on White Pages, then I block/delete them. Yay!

Fast and accurate

As updated it makes it impossible to search for businesses (like restaurants), and/or their database has gone to hell. I loved being able to find a business and easily add it to my contacts. No more.

I use the Whitepages app almost every day. I use it mainly to check a phone# I don’t recognize on caller-id. Many times the search results are Spam and then I will block the caller. The latest update makes it so much easier to search with tabs for what you’re looking for

This used to be a good app. Now I have not been able to fine one number I am deleting this app it is just taking up space on my phone

I was very glad to hear back from the developers after I expressed my concerns about the new update. They were courteous enough to listen to my concerns about people in my neighborhood. I can’t find anything in this new version! It’s terrible! Many times I’ll looking for a business phone number and can’t find the business or phone number. I use GOOGLE all the time now and it finds what I want the first time looking. Terrible white pages. I just tried it again, can’t find it. I’m looking for Moyle construction in Marquette or Michigan. No help. Google gives me suggestions and found like 5locations, not white pages.

I liked this app until it updated. It is worthless now. I prefer the version with a place for a name and a different place for businesses.

I get a lot of unwanted phone calls and I never answer them until I run the number in the white pages first so tired of them sad part is I’m on the do not call list but that made it 90 percent worse

This app has worked wonderfully for me. I use it to identify scam calls and I appreciate that it tells me a number is likely from a fraud/scammer.

1. I can no longer dictate an address into the search field, which makes it about 10 times slower. 2. The only way to send them feedback in the app is by using Mac mail. I don't use Mac mail! So they get a bad review here.

White Pages has been very effective when we need business info. And when on vacation to locate restaurants and other desired locations.

I resent the fact that almost every number that comes up on my phone, they want you to pay for the info. However, I do like it if they tell you that the number is associated with spam.

Seriously, my own listing is incorrect with my legal name wrong and people listed as relatives that are not remotely related to me. If my information is not correct with no way to change it, how can I trust listings for any other person or business.

Wish they had left it alone. New version stinks & I can’t look businesses like I used to. They need to fix the mess they made with this app!

White Pages I just bought this app.?I received confirmation from Apple for paying $4.99. I then went back to use the app, and it does not recognize me/my email/my password. So I asked for a reset of the password, still doesn’t work. There is no way to get in contact with someone that represents Whitepages, so what? I paid for 4.99 for nothing?

This App needs update its info. I was divorced in 1988 and when I put in my married legal name of 22 years it shows only my divorced name!

This is absolutely horrible. I got a new phone so had to get the updated version. There are so many things I hate about this new version. One really irritating thing is not being able to delete history. Bring back the old format!

There are many addresses near me which have new residents and they need updating.

I downloaded this app so I could access a phone number, but this app did not give the phone number. I don’t have a phone book so how am I supposed to get the info (like a phone number) I would get on from a phone book.

This release avoids the “Ooops something went wrong” problem, but the information that is found isn’t consistent. I get a list of people when I enter a name, which is useful. But when I enter a number, I get anything ranging from no name, a name, or - mostly for businesses - an opportunity to buy info. I would think that businesses would want you to know who they are for free, such as a charity and a hotel.

This is a great app-in theory. There are far too many times when the information is not accurate. Also the fact that the reverse lookup is fee based is BS.

I used to come here for reverse searches on phone numbers, but they seem to have gone overboard on privacy, because now they don’t even say the city for the area code. I have found good info here, but far more rarely in the last couple of years.

Like the new updated app, where it tells you what level of spam it is and also how much danger it's involved. Also a list of different reports from other people. Well done app.

I wish zero stars was an option here. I am a voiceover user. This app used to be very usable and helpful. It is no longer accessible for voiceover users. It does not read necessary information. You cannot get to the appropriate edit boxes to type information in. You cannot access information such as results. I’ve even emailed for support on these issues and they never responded. I get the feeling they just don’t care. I guess they only want people to use the app if they can see the screen. That’s OK though. There are plenty of other ways to get information. Several other apps in the App Store that do care, and are accessible. So, bye-bye, white pages.
