Gleim products work if you want to pass the private license tests. But here is the best study for understanding how to be a good pilot. As a lawyer, I've read a few books. This would be my choice in understanding how to fly

This p appears to be pretty decent. I have not had a chance to fully check it out and put it to use yet. Hopefully I will continue to be impressed with it.

An excellent resource on flight and flying even for those of us who don't intend on becoming pilots but are simply curious about such. Beautifully illustrated. A bargain at 2.99!

it's really good to see this complete book with this reasonable price. I am completely satisfied with it except for one thing that it does not have a dictionary facility .... faboulous book

This is a nice alternative to the books. A couple of fixes would be welcomed: 1. Too frequently, the pages "stick" and do not scroll down. Please fix! 2. Ability to enlarge text 3. Page references to FAA book These fixes will make using this app for teaching a lot easier. Keep up the good work!

Very well written book, comprehensive, historical, and practical. A must read for a pilot......new or old.

A must have for student pilots! Download the one from the FAA as well, and you will be all set.

The previous version was PERFECT. Now... It is simply a waste of money and time. A complete DISASTER. Do not buy.

What a great app. The material makes for a nice organized refresher with excellent reading material when on the go. The add on's are worth the $1.99 & .99. Slide out menu to get to conversions n calculations could use a tweak. But that's being me being picky.

What they have done with these FAA books is truly a step backward. They no longer resemble the original FAA publication, and are more difficult to navigate and read. One of us who purchased the original version should receive a refund because this is not the same app.

As an ATP CFI, great to have a regular resource available on my iPad and iPhone when instructing. In addition to being well priced, I definitely recommend this to students and instructors as a mobile, quick check, resource.

Best aviation app I have. Very inexpensive. Good design, very thorough and they keep it updated. Great study guide or reference. Every student pilot and pilot should have this app.

On point.

I love the search function. Yes, you can get all this info free from the FAA, but you have to download them by chapter. Here, it is all in one place. I use it all the time as a CFI/CFII/MEI. One thing that would make this app so much better, would be the ability to highlight text.

I found this app very helpful and informative. The menus were very easy to navigate through which made things easy to find. I would definitely recommend this for anyone interested in flying.

This app is extremely informative and impressive with the wide variety of detailed charts, graphs, history of flight, along with just about everything else having to do with aeronautics. Very useful to anyone eager to learn about piloting conveniently.

Any student pilot in ground school should consider purchasing this application. Even though you may be using a different book in school, this application has been extremely helpful in understanding some difficult subjects. The illustrations are fantastic and so well done. well worth the money!
