Help me practice my pronouncing

Pros: easy to use, offline usage, saves previous words...Cons: mediocre thesaurus, limited modern and slang words

This is a very good app. I like how it 'helps' you with the word and then gives a list of possibilities. Best of all I don't have to use my data... It is programmed on my phone

This is a great app if you want simplicity above complication. The app provide a concise definition, followed by example sentences, synonyms and antonyms.

I love the variety of words in it. And that I can search by the start of the word and it will show words that start with that combination of letters.

Good basic dictionary with speed & ability to create personal lists of favorites. However, there still are some words with incomplete definitions, so the full and true meaning of those words is not reflected (which can be misleading). I use this app very, very often (daily), and still would like ro see (1) the ability to add personal notes/comments without, of course, impacting the app's database, and (2) the ability to share (at least via email) my lists of words and defs in the Favorites folders I've created.

It's nice that this is an app that will work off-line, but the quality of the definitions doesn't even come close to what you can get simply by typing a word and "definition" into Google. I had high hopes for this, but will use it only as an off-line last resort.

The Amount of voc is much better than i expected with such small app. Great dic, will use it instead of merriam

This is a wonderful app! I've gone through different ones but this one is my absolute favorite and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quick and handy dictionary on their phone.

This app comes highly recommended. I've been out to sea for 6+ months and rely on this app I between port visits.

Easy interface, does what it says it will. There are probably better dictionaries, but this one is handy for that quick "I don't need a big explanation just a definition."

I love the most that it gives us the option under settings to start in search tab. I also love that it is able to be used offline and that it allows us to make categories for our favorites because I like to create different categories for different books I read.

This app is wonderful! It never crashes and almost always gives me the definition of a word I'm searching for. I only have 2 simple concerns, but otherwise; GET THIS APP!!! It doesn't have all the words I'm looking for. But mainly, sometimes I can't figure out how to spell a very large/complicated word, and it doesn't give me any suggestions which in my opinion is needed! PLEASE give us word suggestions! Great app!

Medical terms and medical conditions that I couldn't find on WebMD were available here.

What a lovely dictionary app! Simple to use, full-featured, quick, unobtrusive.

Simple and compact, but functions all I need are in this offline tool. Pronunciation button is useful for memorise vocabularies.

The pronunciation of this app is awful. The speaking speed is quick and Rigid.

Thank you for creating this app. As I have an iTouch, it is reliant upon obtaining an internet connection for words I wish to look up in the dictionary. However, with this app, it is no longer necessary. One request I'd like to offer is an update in the history tab where there is the option of not only clearing all the history, but selected words. Thank you for your consideration.

This dictionary is very convenient to use and is often quite helpful in giving me a better understanding of what I am reading.

1: The search box should be on screen after open app. It can save a little bit time for me. 2: Many easy word is wrong explain by app.

Exactly what I wanted

Offline dictionary-outstanding. The ability to tap on any word in a definition and have that word defined is super practical. Hopefully, this app expands it's word database with continued updates, expanding it's word base and vocabulary

I highly recommended this perfect dictionary because of its ease and simplify and also the clear design that forced you to use it everyday . I'm using this dictionary every day . The pronunciation is very accurate with American Accent .

Always had a tough time remembering what vis-a-vis meant. Definitions are clear and simple.
