Dumb games pop-up?

Here's a beautiful app, sophisticated and useful, and up pops a ridiculous pink horses game offer covering the screen. Really? I've used your app for a long, long time. Why did you resort to cheap tactics like that to support your app? SO out of character (as if that needs to be said). Not pleased. If necessary, I may be shopping for a new app.

Today this company claimed something obama said many times himself is racist only when a Republican says it. Tons of videos show obama saying the same thing and dictionary.com never tweeted out how racist that was but when DeSantis says it it’s now racist - no, that makes you the racists dictionary.com.

Android Version is far better

I was astonished to see that the free version comes with ads. Not only that, but the ads take over the entire screen at random times. The Android free version is completely unlocked. You get all the add-one and an ad-free experience. I distinctly remember when this developer made every part of the app free forever because I had just paid for all the things that were now free. So why does the free Apple version have ads. They made using the app into a dictionary version of the classic table top game, OPERATION. Too close to an ad and BOOM! Adblasted.

Meets my needs

Very good dictionary, easy to use, and the pronunciation help is much appreciated. And I don’t know why ppl are complaining about paying for this app. I haven’t paid. The ads are easily ignored, and what’s to complain about if it’s free? Thank you for such a nice app.

Its a really great dictionary

If you’re on your iPhone or read your iPad holding it portrait. The problem for me is that it won’t rotate to landscape. Personally I read books using landscape rotation on my iPad. I researched how to get it to rotate with no success. I also wrote to the company, explained the situation and asked if there was a way to to get it to rotate. Its a hassle to have to turn it especially if you’re reading historical novels. I did receive a Kind response asking me what the issue is. I explained again and then correspondence ended. I use it once in a while.

Wish I could see definitions but. Only ads

Your better off going online version less ads. Ads are pop ups with a timer? I’m trying to read and a very loud colorful ad pop up for a time waster game is not helping my productivity...

Could you add or fix favorites!

Sometimes I hear a word I want to write down so I don’t forget it, would be nice if you could save words better in this app for future reference

This is a money grabbing app that bombards you with ads. Then they nickel and dime you for every tiny feature. To get a non-crippled version of this dictionary will cost you $30. There’s also no guarantee that they won’t adopt a subscription model in the future....so be careful what you pay them.
