I like it! Don’t know what others are talking about because have not experienced problems. also, I like the way the printer function can convert the printout into pdf so the printout all agree upon may be quickly emailed to client, OC, etc. On another note: No astounding news, but WE NEED new tax law update, or alternatively, a flagged reassurance that an update is not necessary yet so we may advise our clients!

Having a Mac-based office, I've been looking for a way to run DissoMaster easily, and the iPad app is just the trick. I've been running XSpouse within a Wine environment, but that's not a total solution, either. Here's the problem... first of all, this is the most expensive app I have ever purchased, and my expectations were high. But, the iPad version of DissoMaster is missing several key features: 1) As another reviewer stated, there is no ability to enter Y-T-D income for a projection of a party's annual income. 2) There seems to be no way to generate Smith-Ostler (excess earnings) bonus tables. These tables are a key part of guideline child support, but this critical feature is just flat-out missing. In other words, if you have a party with variable income (bonuses, commissions, etc.), you won't be able to capture the excess earnings over the base pay with this app. Almost makes the app useless. 3) The cash flow analysis is meager, at best, nor does the app allow you to print "per child" information. Again, key information is missing. 4) There are other things... the preferences are weak, there is little ability to customize data input (e.g. parent resides outside of California and pays out-of-state taxes instead of California taxes), etc. In fact, the printed report doesn't even identify WHICH party pays support (you have to know that the parenthesis around the support number indicate that the lower net-income party is the payor, and if there are no parenthesis it's the higher net-income parent). 5) Can't save the data input as a file to be modified/edited later. Only options are to email the report or the print the report (via AirPrint). All in all, the app is "OK", but will only have limited usability given its unacceptable limitations. And, for $50, I expected a LOT more. This is one huge problem I have with many publishers who sell their apps through the App Store... there is no way to demo or evaluate many of them before plunking down money unless the publisher makes a free or "lite" version available for previewing. Had I seen these features missing, it's very likely I would NOT have made this purchase. You may want to consider this purchase very, very carefully. I'm fairly disappointed.

Any idea when tax year 2014 will be available?

The app won't open at all. I'm running an older os on my iPad. I wonder if that's why. Would love to try to use this app.

After downloading this update, I could not get the "settings" or "?" buttons to work. The links to tech support led me to other West products, not CFLR.

I'm still asked to pay $49 to unlock the 2013 edition, while it is the last few days of Dec. 2013!?! When is the 2014 edition coming out? And can I get my money back?

Tried calling tech support at West web site (where app developer tab sends you). Took forever to finally get to tech support only to speak to someone who had no idea what he was talking about. Didn't even know the update process for the iPad. Let on hold for 45 minutes before I gave up. Tried uninstalling app and reinstalling. Still does not work right but now I have lost my 2013 tax update that I purchased. Since I cannot get to the settings area (still will not open) I can't even try to unlock the upgrade. If I could give this app a negative star rating I would. Until this mess is fixed, do not purchase this app. Too bad as I I really liked this app fore this last updare.

I called tech support and I was told to uninstall and reinstall the app. I just tried but didn't work. Need to contact tech support again.
