This is my Go-To source for daily Bible reading and study. I can copy and paste scriptures directly into my teaching notes. I can have the verses read to me when I can't stop and read them. It is an amazing resource for the believer.

I enjoy using this app to find the origins of words in both the Greek and Hebrew. It’s easy to navigate and the other commentary is also insightful.

I had been recommended this app, and have found it to be useful in many circumstances. It tends to work very great as opposed to any other apps, and I’d have to say that my biggest concern is only the search engine having a hard time finding some verses with specific categories at times. (For example: some have a hard time and may lookup the word hardship, fearfulness, suicidal tendencies, etc. which is sometimes hard to find verses on with this app)

I have spent a good bit of money with other Bible apps and resources but BLB has all you need to truly understand the Word of God fully.

BLB has given me that capability to go deeper into God’s word. I have the app on my phone so I can access it anywhere that my phone service allows it.

I have used the Blue Letter Bible for several years. The original language tools, references, lexicons & note-taking abilities provided are amazing. It helps me with my Bible study and church and its mobile so it’s easy to go to. And easy to take notes because u can type instead of write so it a easy and I’m 12 so it’s kinda hard to do two things at once

Removed special notes options like move all my notes to my computer - and overall easy of use - it now has too many app layers - bad and is difficult to use. What was a great tool has gone down hill 👎

BLB would be the best if had Hebrew and English in the Old Testament and Greek and English in the New Testament

I love this thing. There is so much information available...for free! The translation comparisons, solid commentaries, and word dictionaries with original Hebrew and Greek pronunciations are all great. A seminary professor in my small group says he spends a lot of money for these things.

Outstanding, excellent, some learning curve, but not bad, has most all features a person could want for general study. Be sure to go to website to learn to use. It is fairly large in information, with lots of options.

I have enjoyed the BLB in several phones, iPad and laptops over the years. Always there, works smoothly. Great selection of bibles and commentaries. Of course I favor Chuck Smith’s.

I honestly love this app! There's something about it's simplicity and ease of use that sets it apart from other Bible apps. The verse selection function could use a little refining but that's not too big of a deal to me. Also the fact that the King James version is the preloaded offline version is awesome!

Blue letter bible is one of the Bible study apps on the market. I have used the website for many years. I am administrator of an unaccredited bible school and I highly recommend this app/site to all of our students.

Very helpful when preparing lessons

Blue letter Bible is great if you are looking to deeply understand the word. I can use several translations and also look up the Greek and Hebrew meaning. The Strongs concordance is connected.

Easy to use and great content especially commentaries by Chuck Smith and David Guzik.

The app is great and it has great resources but the UI is confusing and not very well laid out and there was not a whole lot of explanation. However, this is a great app, I would definitely recommend it.

An an Associate Pastor, Blue Letter Bible has served well the last three years. It’s a tremendous eight for putting together sermons and searching out the original languages and the etymology to see what God‘s word really has to say.

I especially like the ability to chose a translation, then choose which verses I want to print. All modern translations seem to be available online. Would be nice to be able to pay to download a version, that would still work with their app...instead of having to learn a new app.

I have used Blue Letter Bible or years and I know I have a number of other great Bible study resources I still use Blue Letter Bible. I also point other people to it who are new to Bible study, it allows them to immediately have access to some basic and advanced tools and resources. Thanks BLB!

I absolutely LOVE BLB! As a resource for Scripture Knowledge and Application it is the ONLY source I teach how to use. I love that I can show my students how to use it quickly and easily and they do not have to go buy or locate all the different SOLID resources it contains.

While I like most of your app I am extremely disappointed that there is all kinds of useless items added to the bottom toolbar like auto scroll and nowhere to be found is the highlight tools.

This is a really great app for my Bible study although I do wish there were more other versions to compare to the king James in my study but overall it’s a great app.

The BLB used to have more bible versions. Also, highlighting involves too many steps. I am still thankful for my BLB and have it on all my devices. I use it every Sunday in church and whenever I want to look up a verse quickly.

Just the word “thanks” can not convey my gratitude for this site when needing the encouragement and promises of hope only Gods word can bring. Having such tools available is so helpful!

I figured out how to change and modify highlights but don’t now how to actually highlight text. Would have given 5stars but so far not very user friendly.

As an Master of Divinity Theologian, Prophetic and Apostolic Strategists , this Application provides great content for Studies Personal Enhancement, and Exegetical Ministry Studies! Great work and extend your studies to Conferences and workshops Worldwide!

If you do a search, and then go to a Bible verse, there is no back button to go back to your search. And if you go back to the search field some other way, the words that you searched for are no longer in the field, nor are the search results still there. No fun. Similar things happen when you go look things up directly from a passage in an interlinear, I think. I simply don't want to lose my place or my searches! Adding a Back button that goes back to whatever was previous, in every window, would be a simple and excellent addition. A direct connection between work done on the app and on the online website would be nice. Words that are inserted by translators/publishers should either be italicized – but since there is no rich text supported in many online apps – or rendered in brackets.

This app has almost everything you’ll need. It includes different bible versions, parallel reading, various commentaries, bookmarks, you can highlight scripture, translation comparisons, audio, a dictionary, a concordance, translations comparisons, section for notes etc. This is my go to Bible app because is handles most of my needs. A great study bible and I use it at church. My church notes are now in the Bible app.

I depend on Blue Letter Bible daily for deeper understanding of Scripture through its translation comparisons, original language links and cross links (seeing how the same word was translated differently in other contexts), and to a smaller extent, the commentaries. I'd give it a 5 if the highlighting tool allowed me to color code individual words instead of entire verses. I find it very beneficial to color the words by their function: Who, where, when, what, why. I'd also like to see a graphical relational map of the content, but that's an entirely different method of lexical analysis that would take a team of thinkers (or a clever programmer) a fair amount of time to develop.

Love the BLB...it's amazing, has every mode of reading/listening to Scripture that I'll ever need. Choose which version of the Bible you love, wether for study or just relaxing & reading. I have been using BLB for many years and it's always there when I need it...on my iPod, my Samsung phone and my iPad. Love this app -- and I'm sure you will too!!

In this app it is easy to find verses and access dictionaries and commentaries.

I first got this app a couple years back, on the recommendation of Dr. Chuck Missler. It’s been great and I would recommend it to anyone from casual to serious, all the content you could want from Torah to NLT is available. So you can study as hard or lightly as you like. My one complaint, and I understand the why, is that you cannot download certain different bibles, to use for the side by side. This is due to copyright, however it would be handy for anyone who is out of cell or internet range often. Also a good addition would be a text to speech reader, so you can study whilst doing other things that require your hands.

I love that all the great tools on the website are in one app, conveniently at my fingertips.

Best bible app I have found. Perfect for simple reading to fill in-depth lexiconic study offering an array of sources and contents and versions I have never heard of until the app. Particularly a fan of the Greek Hebrew and Aramaic dictionary feature.

This would be the best app for not only daily reading but study and research, except it crashes at a whim. There is no exact rhyme or reason, just if it gets tired or doesn’t appreciate you swiping away from the page without reading the whole it will crash and force a restart. Gratefully, it doesn’t make you find your place again but it is quite annoying. I will amend my statement if they actually start working on bug-fixes!

I’m very impressed with this app among the many other apps I’ve downloaded for the purpose of study of the Bible. The verse study feature with root language meanings, concordances etc can all be navigated without any hassle. Good work! Thank you

It’s a great app. I’m able to look up a scripture and tap on it and instantly go to the concordance to see Hebrew and Greek definition of every word. This makes study and checking accuracy of doctrine as it’s being preached.

Great commentaries! Love this Bible.

Having ALL the versions at my fingertips; including Hebrew and Greek is excellent for serious Bible students. The Hebrew and Greek is also audible so you can pronounce the words yourself. Then there’s the capability to write your own notes and include a copy of the text reference and store them in folders that you name yourself (Prayer, Faith, Authority, Promises, etc.). I’ve tried several other Bible apps but this one tops them all.

Very efficiently programmed and full of tools for better understanding what you’re reading, you will be blessed by the investment that has been made into not just the App, but the heart to make the Bible fully available to people.

I have used this app for many years. It is my go to for research and comparisons of scripture. As I travel it is my constant companion on my iPad, and do not leave without it. But the upgrades this year leave me without the ability to use the note feature as I once did. Now they are all bunched up together. I cannot take notes and toggle back to the scripture. Taking notes at seminars, at home, was so very helpful. Now I have to leave it all, and sending them is a chore now too. Why mess up old good to input new ok. 😔

I am just learning to navigate through this app. I am loving the ease with which I can see cross references by clicking on the verse number. I also like the large print with light behind. Very easy on the eyes! I feel I will read the Word more having it with me all the time!!

At bible study blue letter bible is a great source for reading the Bible, looking up scriptures or going to other authors to get their interpretation on a particular piece of scripture.

Why isn’t there a Catholic Bible available?

I have been using blue letter bible for years. It is an easy way to dig into a verse and find the riches buried in the original language.

I have not found, yet, that it has an audio bible. Other that that 5stars

Easy to read Easy to navigate Interlinear bible with Strong’s concordance Thayer Greek Hebrew lexicon perfect for my word study and exposition

All other apps allow me to pause or play audio by tapping the center button on my headphones once. BUT this app instead of pausing starts playing the last other music or app that was paused forcing me to reopen the Blue Living Bible and hunt down and manually press play again. In other words they did not utilize native iOS controls... PLEASE FIX!

This app works very well and has lots of resources but in such as commentaries, dictionaries and concordances. You can do very thorough studies using just this app. It also includes yearly bible reading programs.

I enjoy BLB because i can read passages like i would my traditional bible. What i really enjoy though is the commentary section...i can learn allot more about a passage or chapter by listening to the words of a bible teacher who dives deep into the Word with their comments about the passage. When listening to them teach from the Bible, I and am blessed because of it!

BLB is a wonderful collection of translations, commentaries, word origins and usage. If you really want to tease out the nuances of a Scripture passage, this is the app for you.

I’ve been using BLB for years, and for the last year and a half I’ve been a financial supporter, it’s a tremendous study resource; I’m very pleased with BLB!

This is a good program. One cannot only read the Bible in large font, if he chooses, but when he come upon a passage that is difficult to understand, there are several means of studying the passage such as word studies and expositors. Your selection of these is to be commended. Every day practically I use your program. It is the best I have seen without having to incorporate others programs with it.

I've looked at a lot of online bible and loved this one the best. - easy to get from place to place. - U can have 2 different type of bibles next to one another: eg, nlt at left / kjv at right or whatever u want. - I like that u can have the page scrolling as u read. - myriad other things u can do, highlighting, bookmark, and other things I don't even know. I'm a simplistic user but I can c the vast potential this can have for a seasoned reader. Try it, you'll love it.

I love using The Blue Bible app on my iPad. It is so easy to use and move around in. I use the Daily Reading plan everyday for my quiet time and then for general reading, study, and reference. Very useful and easy to manage.

An excellent way to keep God’s word at your ready.

I have been using blue letter Bible since the late 1990s when it first came out on compact disc. Is extremely versatile. I really like just touching the words and getting a concordance. Conjugating verbs there’s another benefit. I highly recommend this application.

Love the commentary options. I also especially enjoy the Spanish options as I’m a missionary in a Spanish-speaking country. I use the side-by-side Spanish/English versions most of the time that I use this app.

I have recommended this app to numerous people in my church and bible studies. It’s the best and only bible app I now use. By far the absolute best bible app I’ve ever used.

As a believer in The Christ, I can’t impress enough on other believers the importance of this resource. I used to listen and read many commentaries about the Word of God. Then I came to the realization through prayer and His Word that it is my reasonable duty to know his word and this resource gives me that ability. You do not have to be a Greek or Hebrew scholar to discern the Word of God, we all have human teachers but we will be all held accountable at the “judgment seat of Christ” for each one of us there no excuse not to know and do Gods Word. This resource aids greatly in this process.

I now have BLUELETTERBIBLE on all my devices (3 OS platforms) so I am still learning how to manipulate around....but after years of fighting to use another program, BLB is a joy....I love it!

I really enjoy using this app. Best way to carry your bible with you, anywhere! I really love all the features and how easy it is to learn your way around. I'm still learning how to get around but it is very intuitive; best bible app I have used.

I use this app all the time. I just upgraded to the New iPhone XS Max. Now all but just a few bibles are available. Hopefully this is something that will be forthcoming. Best bible app I have used thus far.

The best Bible app there has ever been. It is very user friendly. There are so many options to choose from. The easy access to the translations are the best! This app helps me study the Word easily.

Like the app for the most part, however the backup feature could be more user friendly or changed so that profile settings are included when backing up iPhone. I have lost settings and history so many times because I either forget to backup and move backup file to Mac or just misunderstood how to backup properly.

This is by far the best Bible app. It provides the ability to see several different translations and do word searches. My favorite feature is being able to do proper exegesis by seeing the original Hebrew and Greek words.

Everything is at my fingertips for study. When studying to show myself approved unto God, I will find myself deep within scripture in unexpected places discovering a truth which previously eluded me. It is intuitive and easy to .

I know the app does more, but hands down the features I use most are the lexicon tools (concordance & interlinear, etc.) So very quick and clickable!

This is my go to app for Bible Study. I use several of the features regularly, particularly the Interlinear feature for original Greek and Hebrew words, the Translation Comparison, and a few of the commentaries.

BLB app is awesome because of it’s integrated concordance as well well as commentaries and other tools that make digging deeper in to understanding so readily accessible!

Very helpful sources for digging up the gems in Scripture. Sources are, however, exclusively non- charismatic omitting a huge segment of the international Body of Christ. To wit: highly respected Jack Hayford; The Passion Translation, Bill Johnson e.g. Please extend the welcome to this part of the church with some of whom we will spend eternity. You would offer a choice, not an endorsement.

I love God and have a busy schedule. Blue letter is an awesome tool it enables me to quickly reference and read the scriptures I need to build up my faith.

This is how a real Christian app should be! Free, easy to use, so many useful tools, no strings attached. So many websites and apps that are Christian require payments, sometimes big ones just to see the content! Not cool when you're broke and just trying to get some Holy Ghost fuel. Great for studying into Gods word, and coming to a concluding in your heart what God really meant on certain words/phrases, before they were ever changed. I've been looking for bibles different than NIV, as I don't believe and get frustrated with at least half of the changes to it, and word replacements/alterations to make it "modern friendly" there is a point when that goes too far. I'm broke, and I'd donate to this app if needed. I recommend this app for die-hard, true(non judgemental) Christian's, who believe in the true Jesus Christ, who died and rose again 👍

When you press a verse (like you want to highlight it) it takes a second in order to load.

I use BLB almost every day. It is the easiest way to look up words in Greek or Hebrew, has a great Bible dictionary and several notable commentaries.

This app has so many ways of researching verses, so many I am still discovering study helps. I tried a couple of other Bible apps before this one and they were not as easy to navigate. Love it!

To learn how to pronounce words, their meaning, to have scripture read aloud to me, the commentaries to help my understanding, to have two translations together to compare...it makes studying and meditating on God’s word so much more effective. I love, love, love my BLB! ❤️❤️❤️

This is definitely the best bible app out there. It has the best reading features, and the best study tools. Still has some awkward glitches, but is consistently updated. It remains my go-to for every day reading and study of God’s Word.

Instead of carrying around a ton of references, it is so handy to have the excellence of both Greek and Hebrew definitions available at a touch. The ability to cross reference scriptural themes throughout the Bible is also helpful. Thank you!

It’s hard to put into words how incredible the Blue Letter Bible app really is! For me, it has been a game changer that allows me to quickly dig deeper into the Word, and with His help, to “rightly divide the word of Truth.” My absolute favorite feature is the quick access to the Interlinear/concordance. In a click, I have access to Strong’s Concordance, embedded in every single line, word, or phrase, with links to definitions and deeper root meanings. It has helped me go beyond the surface, and to be more understanding of the subtleties and sometimes transformed meanings of more archaic language. It’s easy to feel like God allowed the internet to be invented just so, one day, there’d be a BLB app! Thank you for such a powerful study tool!

This app is everything you could need in a Bible app. Great commentaries and dictionaries available to dive into the word along with translation comparisons. Definitely a tool to use to dig deeper into the understanding and living out of God’s word.

Absolutely wonderful study tool, I use it constantly as a minister. I love being able to be anywhere and study the word deeply by using original translations and concordances. My only qualm is that you can’t download bibles onto your device, for instance they stay ‘online’. Either way, still very deserving of 5 stars!

Use it everyday for my morning devotional. Use it in church to save verses for further study and encouragement. Great for expounding on scripture with cross referencing and commentaries.

Excellent Greek and Hebrew references when Strong’s definitions as well. Love this app! Makes my bible studies so much more efficient and quicker. I love the versions and all of the accessible tools available with just a click! My studies of the Word are much more in depth without needing all the time to dig through traditional books. This is the best app I have found for Bible Study that’s free. There are some features I wished it had or could do better with, but it already does a lot and I have been very happy with it.

I love that you can have both Kjv and esv side by side on the screen to compare the wording ,this helps me better understand the parts of scripture that are difficult for me.

I love listening to the commentary that studies the Bible. Especially from a pastors perspective of just 20 years ago.

I enjoy BLB. I love hearing the Bible read to me.I must say it was a little hard to figure out how to make it play but when we did,it had an option to read 7 times. Study the word,commentaries,etc, it’s been a great tool for me.

BLB is one of my favorite, if not THE favorite, resource tool I use for studying scripture. I have used it for years and still find hidden capabilities I didn’t realize were in the app. I first started using as a resource while traveling for my job and away from my hard copy books. Wherever I traveled I still had “access” to biblical resources and ability to study while on the road.

Excellent site for comparison of different Bible versions. BLB provides extensive definitions of original words in Hebrew and Greek, also the Greek from the Septuagint. I’ve spent many, many, many hours using this resource for serious Bible study.

This Bible has great resources that are available to you and the audio is great when I am driving or in the middle of doing my chores. It is very good for me when I want to really get I into the Word but can’t read it because my eyes are bothering me.

I have used this app for many years (possibly 6 years). It has a lot of truly amazing features for more in-depth, inductive Bible studies.

This app is wonderful for just reading God's word, as the interface is clean and simple. You can even have it read a chapter out loud for you repeatedly (good for when driving). This app is also great for checking Greek words in a verse or how other translations handle a verse, and when I'm not home, is my go-to resource for that. Unfortunately these resources are limited to verse by verse checks, unless a Greek text is set as a parallel 'translation' in the reading window. A full interlinear feature would thus be cool. Also any sort of notes on manuscript readings, or at least text editor's reading, would be helpful. Great app!

Is there a way to go back to the list when researching a word and then going to the Bible to read the context without starting over?

I have been using BLB for a few years now. Whether listening to the Word on my way to work, a quick word search for practical living or in depth study using commentaries or parallel translations the BLB has them all at your fingertips. Beside my old-school paper bible, BLB is my go-to Bible tool.

Was hopping for more of blue letter bible .com experience. It’s also hard to compare with other bible versions. My favorite thing is the was you can set it and it moves as you read. Love God’s word😊

The app was working fine until the update. Now it won’t even launch. Crashes every time I try to open it. Yes I am running the latest OS software and I’m using a brand new device (xs). I tried re downloading it as well. Please fix.

Verse selector does not work in iOS 11. This includes any verse reference through bookmarks, right side slide selector, and jump to verse selector by pressing and holding at the top middle book button. Needs an update ASAP! Problem fixed 11/08/17, thanks!

Why is it so difficult to find how to highlight a text? I went thru the setting and the other features and still can’t find how to highlight a text. But I did find the “donate” button with ease....😖

One of the best Bible apps I have used. It doesn’t spam you with a ton of extras you don’t want like some. I only wish it had an audio bible version and I would rate it 5 stars.
