This app is amazing. It lets me share what I’m studying directly from the app. There are daily scriptures with available artist images for posting on social media or just to save as a screen saver. I’m always on the go and this app makes it possible to always have my Bible with me.

I love this Bible app. I have had no major problems with it. I couldn't wait to read God’s Word everyday. It makes things easy just to have it on my phone, or when I am searching for particular verses. I also enjoy looking for the plan I need, depending on my circumstances. I really have no major problems with this app except sometimes it takes longer to launch; when you exit to go to a concordance app and go back to this app, it will take a bit of wait to get it going. It doesn’t launch right away. Also recently they've made changes to creating Bible images. Although they have added more fonts, it is harder now to fit in a number of words you desire in a line. You can no longer control the amount of words you want in a line. It used to be that you can have longer lines of words. Or you can actually control how you want yiur verses to fit by using t********** to expand the verse onto the image. Now, you can’t do that. They have limited your freedom to control tge creation if images so that verses cannot be spread out or laid out as you want, as it used to. This is the one thing that the update has changed that I did not particularly like. However, overall, this app is my go to in everything everyday. I use it way more than any other bible related app or any apo for that matter. I am hoping they would bring back those image creation freedom back, then it'll be perfect. Today i found out they brought back those text boxes for images. Im so glad.

I like the app , but some of the words may be wrong for instance on one Chapter in Joel instead of saying Vats it said fats. I’m not really sure if there is many more. But I really want to keep reading this, I just don’t want to be reading wrong words. Other than that I really like the app

Even though I downloaded a different version of the Bible. When I am offline, it keeps going back to the kjv version. How do I change this?

I don’t always read the Bible consistently, but when I do I read you version!😂 God is so amazing. There is so much depth to him and so many levels that we cannot fathom. I love that in reading this app if you don’t understand what the word is saying in one version, there is always another translation to help clarify what God is trying to help you understand. 5 Star, nothing is wrong with the app it’s perfect! Easy to use, and quick to find verses I’m looking for!

I started using this app to play scripture on one notch above mute every night this year, and the difference in my spirit and atmosphere in my home as been definitely noticeable. My spirit, has been strengthened, it is easier to want the things is God. And there is so much peace and joy just resting in our house. This has been one of my most effective tool in my whole life. Also, I don’t have all the translations in hard copy, but I do here. I can read it whenever I have my phone with me, which is 90% of the time. So, thank you very, very much coders and producers. You are changing my life and those I influence.

My audio only worked half the time, I like falling asleep listening. But I do get a lot of emails now that I’ve unsubscribed dozens of times but yet I still receive them. I only wish I could find the one I had on my locked Apple account. Simple and easy.

9/6/18 - With every update, I hope the text feature (on images) is corrected. 😔 Why did you take away the ability to control the length of text lines on photos? The ability to add text to my photos and share them on Pinterest, Twitter, etc... was the best! With the latest text update, it’s extremely difficult to add text to images. The ability to just squeeze text size and move text around is not what makes the text feature great. It is being able to add text to any photo of our choice (now gone), that made it great. Also, I’d like to be able to add notes to each day of a plan. That feature would be great! This is one of my favorite apps, but the text update (as said by so many others) is not good.

Love to have the Word of God handy but love more to have the hard copy so I can take notes the traditional way😊. The app is also great to view different translations.

This is a very good Bible I ever have for it contains the languages I can read and understand-English, Thai and Lao. Very useful and handy.

This app helps with my personal Bible reading and Sunday service notes. This past Sunday the version was ‘The Voice’ which the app does not have yet. I bet it gets it soon.

Some of us don’t want the videos and “streaks”. It’s not a competition! Shame on you! I would bet many of us would prefer a simple alternative like the app used to be. When I open my paper Bible, there are not videos there are not racing games to shame us if we aren’t perfect about opening the cover every day. Seriously? LOOK AT THIS! What are you doing here with all this “Bigger is better” stuff you are doing? You are becoming the degenerate city Isaiah speaks of, are you not?? Your silver has become dross .... I love the core of this app. I would PAY to have a version without the fluff. The verse images are okay. The plans are good. But I want to not have to see all the distractions. Make a turn off button! Do SOMETHING !!! I want to see no videos or streaks. I do not want Bible plans thrown in my face. Bigger is not better. Bigger is a marketplace in the temple. Is that a good thing? Seriously

Through out the time I have used this app I have seen how much God has done just for us

I have been using this App for some years and I have enjoyed every aspect of it except for the times when I need to highlight a particular word that spoke to me or a phrase not the entire verse. I am making this request... Developers, Can you please include a manual highlight option (like you do when reading the Hard copy Bible or an e-book where you get the highlight whatever word or phrase or sentence you so desire). Sometimes a word gets to you, not the entire verse.... Secondly, you know when you select a verse to compare its versions, most times there is a need to highlight or bookmark one of its versions. So to highlight one of the versions, I click and it opens up in full, disrupting my previous reading (let’s say I was reading a whole chapter). After I am done highlighting I would literally change the version again and click to read in full. It’s a lot of stress. So, i am asking, can you please add a feature into the compare versions sections where we get to highlight or bookmark or whatever that needs to be done in that small pop up window without disrupting the flow of the original reading . Probably when you select the verse from any of the versions, it moves into a continuum (still in that same pop up window that can include: highlighting, an option of reading the whole chapter in full etc. and the going back to the versions or quitting the window entirely) I am really hoping you get to see this. Thanks a lot for all the work you do. God bless you all

Having this Bible App is so helpful throughout the day. When I need a word from the Lord I just tap on the app.

What I mean by missing books are the ones that are in different versions of the Bible like in the The New Revised Standard Version there a book called Sirach or Ecclesiasticus that’s not included or Wisdom of Solomon , Tobit , Judith , 1 & 2 Maccabees , Baruch . Wondering why where’s are not put in here?

This is a great app! I love the simplicity and functionality of the design, but since I mostly downloaded the app in order to listen to scripture while I am working/driving I am EXTREMELY disappointed that there is no option to listen to the Bible in a female voice. You can only listen to the Bible being read in a man’s voice...

I don’t want to leave a review like this but I can’t even find an email support to send to you. GET RID OF THE STREAKS! It does not operate properly. At first, I thought I would love it but now I hate it. Every day should matter. I have had days where I had completed 7 days and when I miss my 8th day, it start me back at one and my “perfect week never changed. In fact, I am on my 10th day, and my week still has not changed. And it is not just about the perfect week, if I do 4 days and miss, again I start over. It is like those 4days doesn’t matter. EVERY DAY SHOULD MATTER. All this does is bring me discouragement. Every time I open the app, it is a constant reminder that I am a failure. For the first time, I am actually thinking of getting rid of the app. I am pretty sure I am not the only one who feels this way. I know, because I have had other people tell me the same thing.

Having this and the confidence to open it all the time and then to read theses devotionals has brought me so much closer to God. I love that my Mom and I can study together also!!! Best app ever!

I am reading from a bible plan of rest for your soul and finding true rest in God. My soul is tired in every day life and the message in this plan today is right on time. From John 15 to Matthew 11 - coming to Jesus all weary and heavy laden etc. It is all worthwhile reading and trusting God will speak to you in your time of need!! Amen!

It's user friendly and has some great Bible studies as well! I have my Bible where ever I go!

My oldest daughter, a single parent of now, a 24 year old son, recently was found to have a dystolic heart failure. When I first got here it was because she had been verbally attacked by my grandson’s girlfriend who is bi-polar and the mother of my daughter’s grandchildren, a 4 y.o. Boy, and a 1 1/2 year old girl, both of whom my daughter had been babysitting. My daughter’s body went into a paralysis of a sort her doctor thought at first was asthma. Gave her breathing treatments and water pills because her legs were swollen. She had to stop at least 5 times on her way into the ER. After an overnight stay she was released and she immediately went to work. A week later she started going downhill and the doctor put her in the hospital for extensive testing For 3 days, but asthma was ruled out. She had a build up of fluid around her heart and lungs and it was found out her heart was enlarged and not able to slugh off fluids. That was two weeks ago and little bitty steps at a time it looks like she’s getting better. She’s still not out of the woods yet and why I’m still here. She’s been prayed over extensively by myself and her siblings and friends. And here’s a bigger part of her story...even though she’s been a Christian for a long time...she has very low self esteem and we’ve talked about that extensively. She’s gained alit if weight and had lost about 85 lbs she fell into a funk and gained 40 back. Much of the weight is her bad health and allergies, but she defaulted back into stinking thinking and initially quit trying because she felt like a failure. Also the reason she became my grandson’s girlfriend’s recent victim. As I was praying for her, I was praying for me because I was so angry. There are indicators from time-to-time of evil-negative forces that definitely have the capability of derailing an individual that lives on a precipice financially and emotionally, and that’s where my daughter’s at. So as first and last resort prayer is applied sort of tongue-in cheek, if you will...hoping GOD hears you. And I know I’m guilty of this kind of prayer. It’s as if I’m still stuck in some archaic mode of Christian belief systems that don’t claim the concept of GRACE...even though I know better and have experienced genuine GRACE throughout my life. Soooo...comes the Bible reading on my phone this morning...”we worship that which is unseen because the things we see are temporary and fall out, whereas, that which is unseen sustains us.” Finally, I’m an artist and made extra money teaching art classes, which have sort of dwindled away. My little pod of social security money runs out by the end of the month and there is little to assist or help out with...but GOD always sees me through and I have enough. In the midst of my daughter’s travesty I get text mails that lead to a potential art class at the end of this month...and the pastor I talked to last night is named Erin Angel! I’m sufficiently stoked my GOD is sending me hints...”I never left -I’m still here!” Yeah!...I love and live for these Bible verses!! Sheila L Larsen

This app is a must have for anyone that enjoys reading the Bible. Love the ability to change and compare versions of the Bible. Need to change the Bible verses in Streaks. I believe their using the same six or seven verses....add more verses/scriptures.

I love this app except for the fact that you can’t search offline or download an audio. Other than that it has some great features!

It has everything you need. I personally like the many versions you can download, how you can compare verses in them and the images you can attach to verses. It also has plans, audio, daily verses and easy to share with other apps, highly recommend it.

Up until today I loved this app. However, with the latest update it now crashes when trying to open when it actually opens. When an app is good, it does NOT need to be tinkered with when you do you get what I have an icon that does nothing. Until it works again this is an avoid at all costs app.

I just wish they had graphics for KJV users. Sometimes I want it to say exactly what it says in the KJV text and the newer version's paraphrase doesn't capture it at all.

The verse image update is such a disappointment. The shape of the text box can no longer be changed. That was a very useful feature that the update took away. I use and love the verse image feature regularly to encourage my family with verses that encourage me. It is now impossible to make the text fit around the pictures I select because the shape of the text box can no longer be changed.

We serve an awesome God. Praise Him for using so many to get His word out to ALL. This is one of the most extraordinarily apps that I truly enjoy. The plans, verse of the day, videos, etc.. keeps me on top of my reading. Thank you for making this hopeful for so many. I been reading the verses of the day for a while now; consistently, and I miss one day now I’m back to as if I just started reading period. That’s discouraging.

Perfect App! Absolutely no flaws! 🙌🏼☝🏼

This app is great. It’s convenient, slick, and provides a great many translations that are available at my fingertips. However, my main complaint are the ads that spring up whenever I look at my notes. (Not really ads but messages from the app itself) This occurs very often, and I am unsure if it is just a bug. Additionally, the app freezes up when I want to quickly go from my reading to my notes and highlights.

Love the versions and daily reminders. Would be helpful if it were easier to make/view notes and to link to commentary.

Can you go the extra mile by linking cross references. I want to press a cross reference and take me there and back if I wanted to. I would also love to be able to transfer highlights between bible versions or even languages. Thanks!

I think that this bible app is one of the best ones. I wish you could tap anywhere on the page and it would read it instead of just reading until the part you want to get to.

This AP keeps evolving (ahem) into better and more creative things to do with the presentation of the text. It is becoming the most readable and usable Bible AP available.

Great app just wish there would be more “Verse of the Day” verses from the rest of the Bible. Every other day it’s from proverbs or psalms. How about the other 64 books?

Love having this app. I'm using my iPad all thru the day if I can't sleep at night I read ,while I'm having my chemo infusion I can read and after my oldest daughter decided to cut me out of her life three years ago I can find a plan that gives me hope

So I’ll be reading my bible and I’ll be in the middle of reading it out loud in Sunday school and it’ll force me to log into face book and it won’t stop popping up until I do. Why do you have to log into something just to want to read your bible? If I want to read my bible without having to log into ten different things I should just know that I can read it whenever I want without the s***** login thing coming up and disrupting my reading time with God

This has everything! It has daily verses, you can highlight and save your favorite ones, it also has Bible studies and so much more. It’s just wonderful. Thank you.

I love the way that this is organized. There are so many plans to read and it helps so much. And another thing that I really appreciate is how many translations there are. I have a life group full of my fellow high schoolers and I really appreciate this because what we often do is read a passage and then change the translation for example NIV to NLT or another and on occasion even to the Tree of Life version. The app makes this really easy and allows for us to get a deeper understanding of what the verse is trying to say.

The Bible app is so easy to use! I actually don’t open my big, heavy Bible anymore. I use Bible app in church, and for personal study. It has many free Bible studies to choose from and lots of different translations. Wish something life this had been around when I was a young adult!

It's easy to roll over and check in with the Lord on my phone-- great teachers great plans have made this a morning habit and I have grown in knowledge with the Word. The app has plans for every topic and features great Bible teachers like Joyce Meyer. It also works well each time I open it.

I love that it now offers sermon notes from Gateway Church, making it easy to follow along and take notes about what the Lord is showing me. I love this app it has change my life and others around me ! Long story short me and my currently boyfriend now before we start to date each other we did devotional together and it change our ways . God did that ! We were both in very depressing stage in our life and the devotional was such a great encouragement! Our daily verses was a way to wake up everyday ! We both love it so much . Now we been together for a year and half still doing devotionals everyday ! We got baptized together we speak tounges and heavily involved with our local church . OUR LIFE IS CHANGE FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you God !!!!!

This is a great app! But I wish there was a tab feature to be able to switch back and forth between passages quickly while reading.

I am still exploring the “YouVersion”. I am super impressed with the reading plans, and using the search function for plans that aren’t visible on the list. My study Bible is falling apart and my wife shared this awesome study app with me. I recommend sharing this app with others who use tablets and phones to gather information.

The Bible app is absolutely a practical way to always have God’s word with you all day long. We live in times that we do not go or do anything without our phones, so this app makes it so convenient to turn to God’s word anytime I pick up my phone. I also love the ability to connect with my friends and family and do bible plans together. You are able have in depth conversations about the plans and to encourage, help and receive all that God has for you.

How could one give a bible less than five stars without the fear of lightning? The Bible has a feature that it can read out loud. The search feature works well and one can highlight areas. Many features I gave not explored but it has everything I need and more.

The You Version is a great App to stay connected to the Word of God. It is a great way to witness to friend and foe. It is a way to encourage others in the way of the Lord, and a tool and connections for families. It does freeze up at times, but overall it has kept on track to stay connected to God's Word, no matter what city, state, or Country I am in.

I have been using this App for some years and I have enjoyed every aspect of it except for the times when I need to highlight a particular word that spoke to me or a phrase not the entire verse. I am really making this request developers, Can you please include a manual highlight option (like you do when reading the Hard copy Bible or an e-book where you get the highlight whatever word or phrase or sentence you so desire) Thanks a lot for all the work you do. I would give 3.5 stars otherwise. When I jump on the Bible app, I’m doing it to read, not to feel like I’m being judged by not having a “ streak” and I don’t have a bible plan I’m currently reading but when I did, I “wasn’t in track” just those little things for me to remind me or keep me pumped up I don’t want. Can you have this in a setting where I can opt out of all the Facebook styled platforms for everything? I’m not a fan and don’t want to have people seeing my personal thoughts. I’m always stressing about when I save a verse the “public or private” option pops up that I don’t save it right. Could you please make an opt out platform for basic bible not associated with social media? Also, when I have to just look away from the browser to answer a call it goes back to the home page. Can you make it where when I go back, I am just going right into reading where I left off? I don’t close the browser, it’s just not the main focus for a minute.

I love having easy access to the Bible! This app also lets me read other variations in order to study more thoroughly so it is a must-have for me.

I use my bible app daily. I read the verse of the day and check to see what other friends have highlighted. I've used the "Plans" option often and done daily devotional alone and with friends. Was great for a couple of years. Now it takes several minutes to launch, forever to go to a book, chapter, verse. Deleted it. Very frustrating.

I love this feature, BUT I don’t like the new format. You have changed the fonts, the layout, which does allow an angled scripture?, and incriminated spacing? What you had was good or have an option of format A vs B. I Don’t like the new platform for create a scripture.

This is an excellent app for finding a daily Spiritual Plan to address any issue you, family or friends are dealing with. I was introduced to this app by my son’s mother-in- law during a medical issue I am dealing with. It has truly blessed my soul and given me added confidence through scripture, that addresses my specific issue.

The story telling videos and bible verse explanations assist the novice in breaking down God’s word. Vital for those who may have struggled in the past. This a great app giving you access to almost every translation available. The Bible reading plans and devotional tools are also helpful, though I would prefer that the just default to the next reading not the calendar. When I am reading multiple plans it's frustrating to swipe back to where I am reading.

I love this Bible app. I have had no major problems with it. I couldn't wait to read God’s Word everyday. It makes things easy just to have it on my phone, or when I am searching for particular verses. I also enjoy looking for the plan I need, depending on my circumstances. I really have no major problems with this app except sometimes it takes longer to launch; when you exit to go to a concordance app and go back to this app, it will take a bit of wait to get it going. It doesn’t launch right away. Also recently they've made changes to creating Bible images. Although they have added more fonts, it is harder now to fit in a number of words you desire in a line. You can no longer control the amount of words you want in a line. It used to be that you can have longer lines of words. Or you can actually control how you want yiur verses to fit by using t********** to expand the verse onto the image. Now, you can’t do that. They have limited your freedom to control tge creation if images so that verses cannot be spread out or laid out as you want, as it used to. This is the one thing that the update has changed that I did not particularly like. However, overall, this app is my go to in everything everyday. I use it way more than any other bible related app or any apo for that matter. I am hoping they would bring back those image creation freedom back, then it'll be perfect.

Everything is amazing awesome! Only... I removed a friend from a reading plan who didn't think they'd be able to participate; however, they realized they could. When I went to add them back. Seems as if you can't. I even sent the link to them and it won't allow them to join again. Major bummer!

This is by far the best app I have ever used! I absolutely love the daily plans. My Husband and I find new plans to do every time we complete one. You can do plans in private or with others. I’d say I’ve used this app over the course of the past year more than any other I’ve had, and I am thankful for many of its useful features. I’ve been able to use some of it to even teach my children about the Scriptures as a whole and by genre. However, one of the more frustrating aspects of this app is its streak feature, which does not allow you to manually input times that you have been in God’s Word outside of this app. I find this feature, therefore, discouraging and and inhibiting in my spiritual walk. Being in God’s Word everyday IS very important, and for my own growth and accountability I want a feature like streak; however, it should allow you to account for days in you are in GOD’S WORD, not the app. Otherwise, this app has been very useful.

Not happy. I recently traveled to another country and was where there was no net connection (no wifi, cell coverage too expensive). My offline Bibles were available, but bookmarks and ability to search were not. Really? If the entire text of the Bible can be on my phone, why not bookmarks? And why can I not search what is physically on my device? Being offline should not k*** the usefulness of this app, but right now it does. FIX IT! UPDATE: I saw that a translation I would like to have offline became available. But to download it requires I login. These people WANT your info and do not care about your privacy.

It has allowed me to sit here on break and read the Bible on my phone. A must have for the faithful.

I think that this is a very good app for learning the Bible and is easy to use.

Access to the written message to us from the one that made all. While it’s hard to improve upon something that good, the app takes it one step beyond by providing an excellent interface to an electronically searchable version that’s FREE.

This is the best bible app I have found. Love all the Plans you can choose from for daily devotions. Super easy to use. Plus really like the ability to to share with friends online and to do daily devotional with friends online too. Great app

You have now the new updated version of the NIV Bible which is an abomination to God. Missing words, totally missing scriptures! I thought you were a Bible app – a Godly Bible app.

This is great app on the fact that we are serving the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings and we shall keep serving. This is a great app also because others can’t have an excuse to not the read the Bible Because it’s now an app on our electronic devices.
