I love this app I use it continuously.

I really like this calendar.

Still having a problem with writing long notes. Increasingly difficult scrolling to the bottom of a long note.

I can see in every view easily. Never had a glitch. I tried several and this is the best.

Love the app. Use it everyday. One huge b***** though is the fact that entries disappear after a few weeks so that if one wishes to check on events that were entered in the past, like by magic they no longer appear on one's calendar. C'mon, let's get real and fix this huge flaw, then you'll get 5 stars!

I really luv this calendar.. without it I wouldn’t show up to any of my appointments. I do wish there was a lil more instructions.i also think there is something wrong with my reminders.. They used to work great 😕 not sure what happened.

Very robust features, great update support, no bugs, lots of flexibility and options. This is just a very well thought out calendar app. No limitations or negatives in my experience. Well worth the modest price.

I've been using this app for several months and it's perfect, exactly what I needed! I can color code, assign icons, make notes and schedule non-rotating events without difficulty. Again, perfect for my needs!

I use this app to run my business and schedule all my appointments. I have never had any issues and I am fully satisfied with this app. I have had it for 4 years now and I would be lost without it.

Love the app, use it to keep myself organized between appointments, birthdays, and to do items. Love that different colours are available and the mini month is the best! Only challenge is one reoccurring event I’ve tried to delete and it reappears.

My most used app next to OmniFocus. Organizes information in a much more convenient and usable way than the standard iPhone calendar app.

Had this calendar for a long time. Great updates. Putting appointments/meetings reminder alerts is very simple. I got the new iPhone X and it takes advantage of the whole screen. THANK YOU!!!

What the native app should be! Glad it automatically syncs with cal app, so syncing with computer (and sharing tasks with spouse, -who loves it as well) is effortless. One tap to open Maps or Google Maps! Always updating with better and cooler features. I personally subscribe to the music festival calendars.

I love this calendar. It meets my needs. I use the monthly view almost exclusively. I tried several but decided this is best for me.

Love this calendar app . It does however glitch every now and then, by just dropping you and closing off? Weird! It's simple, easy to use and perfect for scheduling clients!

I use it every day to remind me of many things that would normally forget. I am 71 yrs old and need a reminder.

My memory is not as good as when I was younger, and use of a calendar app is one of my helper tools. This calendar program, in particular, allows me to switch easily, between daily, weekly, and monthly views to review upcoming events I have to address. BRAVO!!!

WHEN it works, this app is great. Cross platform sharing is usually seamless. Problem is it keeps losing my data! And I mean months and months worth! I'll open the app, look for my stuff, and *poof!*. Where'd it go?!?! You all REALLY need to fix that!

It is the calendar that keeps me running. It syncs well with Outlook and the other PDAs. It does its job well.

Plays nice with google calendar and I subscribed to Trailblazers schedule. I wish they'd offer a better moon phases calendar though and they really need to make removing entries easier.

I like how I can see a week at a time instead of a day/month with iPhone's cal app.

The weekly view with the color coded bars is my favorite visual of a busy schedule. The ability to schedule overnight and ongoing commitments and be alerted to conflicts is extremely helpful. Multiple alerts for one events. Automatic and seamless integration with native calendar. Do you need a task to come up on a certain day then recur daily until completed? That's possible. Check the mini-month view. It is the best phone view of a month's appointments. The app is maintained and continues to have innovative changes. It is my most used app and well worth the expense.

This app provides a great replacement to the basic Apple calendar app. The color coding and custom alerts are great. I also love the "rolling" event feature that reschedules an event until it's marked as completed. Great essential everyday app.

This is an outstanding tool and so easy to use! It's great to have all of your appointments in one place so you're never double booked.

I prefer using week cal because I can see the entire month at one time in Mini month mode. Helps give overall picture of the month.

Quite user friendly, easy to use and update. Not sure why it double displays many holidays, but it’s not a big deal. I’d like to see more Canadian Holidays, but I’ll keep using it. Thanks.

The bars on the top & bottom of the app rarely function. Tapping with your finger does not hide nor show the bars on the calendar on my iPhone 6. Occasionally swiping to the following week will bring them up. Please fix. Still the best calendar app out there. Also the auto icons rarely work. I use both these features all the time. Thanks for a great app. Update: still rating this app with 5 stars. Keep in mind that I'm not a power user. It's my daily calendar that I rely on. The agenda view is my most used view. I like the ability to adjust font size along with the various view/screen options. One feature that has been inconsistent over the years is the the auto icon feature. It works half the time. For example: I'll put "dining, dinner, lunch" in the text portion of the setup screen & an emoji of a hamburger in the icon portion of the screen. Sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't. Using an iPhone 6 with the latest iOS. Been using Week Calendar on both my iPhone and iPad for at least 2 years now. Still the best calendar app out there. The Agenda view is my default view on the iPhone and the month view is my go to view on the iPad. The only time get a little confused is understanding how not to duplicate appointments or holidays when deciding which calendars to use in settings. Keep up the good work. Update: 8/2/18 Still rating Week Calendar 5 stars. This issue I had with the inconsistent top and bottom bars had been corrected (only use the top or the bottom bar but not both.) The auto icon and auto color don’t nor have they ever worked. I really would like this to work as it would save a lot of time setting up or labeling appointments that I use regularly. Still the best calendar app out there *****

I use this app on a daily basis, it has been great at keeping me informed and on time with a busy schedule!

Love this calendar. You can create your own templates for repeating events, appointments, etc., which saves a ton of time. When creating a new calendar event, just touch the template, enter the start time, and you're done. I use the icons/emojis all the time. You can track at a glance. Really great app.

I like the color choices, the reminder options, and the repeat event option. I have had issues with annual events like birthdays and anniversaries just disappear. That is the only bad thing and a very big pain. Overall I have enjoyed this app.

I have been using this calendar for several years with no issues until a few weeks ago. The only way to resolve my problem of getting it back to the format I wanted was to delete it and download it. I cannot get it to start my week on Sunday in spite of setting and a delete and download

...and it syncs magically with iCal. Easy to use. Easy to add. Can change easily from day to week to month view. I use this app daily and it's worth every penny. It also syncs immediately and easily with Scheduler. I use that for my crazy rotating work schedule and this for the rest of my life.

What can I say? Just awesome, readable, great.

This app has improved incrementally on iPhone, offering topnotch flexibility and design, but on iPad, the app has stagnated, its GUI no longer competitive.

Like it, although some things are hard to edit. My sister's birthday shows up on two days, can't figure out how to get rid of the wrong one

There is no way to add an outlook calendar as advertised. It only added my gmail calendar which I don’t use.

Been using this app for a while. Previous version had bugs, which users pointed out. Developer did quickly resolve and fix said issues and continuously strives to make a better experience for users. App is well worth the cost. Recommend for all!

This is the best and most comprehensive calendar app out there. I have been using it for years with few issues. The upgrades are almost always geared towards making the software better and more user-friendly. I highly recommend it for those who are looking for alternatives to the default calendar My latest review. The app lost a star because it had not gone through a significant upgrade or facelift for a while. The app, albeit useful, it shows its age. I only hope that a big update is in the works for iOS 12

You are able to assign color codes your different appointments. You can also create colors if you would prefer. The calendar is amazing!!!

So far it has worked well for me- the colors and different size calendars help and the repeat function also. Only thing that got messed up was syncing and calendars w duplicate appointments showing up on my other devices. Now I use it for phone only.

I use it for the mini month lay out! I love that part, just wish there was more viewing customization options to it so I could see my daily schedule better (maybe text size change?)

Great calendar for a busy family. Wish that I was able to see past months then I would have a history for doctors appointment and other history dates for school and friends.

Just what has been needed, works flawlessly and reminds me of my terrific old Palm Treo functions-synced on opening immediately with both the native iPhone cal and my Google cal both of which I use. Other reviews also helpful to decide to buy it. Great list & search function too -don't miss it. Keeps getting better with each upgrade. Only thing missing is an option to change the default view when opening app.

When I airdrop an event to a friend week calender creates a duplicate event in my calender. This did not happen before. edit: With ios11 airdropping an event has become a mess. It opens the apple calender and it take many steps to complete the transfer. totally unexceptable. please fix edit: all is well. duplicate event fixed. love this app

I rely on Week Cal to maintain my LIFE! And the ability to SYNC calendars with my husband aids in marital bliss. 😄 I'd be lost without it!

I love everything about this app. If I could add a suggestion, it would be to allow us to add emojis to each reminder

The week view is essential. The mini-month is helpful. Great improvement over iCal.

As a counselor I rely on Week Calendar to keep all my appointments straight and never lose them. Love the zoom in and out function. I especially love the Search function where I can bring up all the appointments I have had with one client. I can see as far back in the past as I want it to go and as far forward as I set it to show me. And each client has their own color so they are easy to spot even with old eyes! Easy to use, even for this baby boomer!

In addition to the Week View, which can be zoomed to daily with a touch, the event color coding and multiple alerts are features I really like. Excellent.

This is hands down the best calendar you could put on your phone!!! I couldn't live without it! Don't waste your time with any other!! This is the one to get!

I most appreciate the ability to set multiple alarms for the same event.

I've been using this program for a few years now. It has been continuously updated to be more user friendly. One of my favorite features is the ability to set custom appointment (reminder) alarms. I also like and use the multiple colored calendars to keep track of different events at a glance. I highly recommend using this app to help organize your daily life. The one feature I would like to see added is the ability to paste a picture of something into the notes. For example, take a picture of an appointment reminder ticket that you get from the doctor or dentist for your next appointment. Being able to see the ticket in the note section would be convenient and reassuring that you entered the time and date correctly. Evan

I love this app. I work a split shift and this app allows me to enter my shift every day that I work so that 2 months from now I can set a reminder for a meeting, car tune up, dental appointment, etc., and depend on this calendar to keep me on track. Very handy for s***** survivors. Needs updates to sync with my desktop. Becoming very frustrated. Won’t sync with cell phone either.multiple event when posting.

Easy to use - love that I can use emojis to mark different events/appointments.

This calendar app does everything I want it to do. I can search for future and past appointments. I can color code appointments (but I have a hard time remembering what the color codes mean). I can set up recurring appointments and change them if necessary. All-in-all, it does a good job.

It's fast, relatively stable and easy to use. Occasionally I go to a date, and that month is blank. A switch back & forth to another month fixes the bug. I'd like to see better repeatability of certain tasks within a specific week or month, and a user manual would be helpful as well. I bought it for my iPad and there are synch issues; it also looks different on my iPhone & iPad.

I've asked for rolling entries to allow for weekend days or weekdays only with it not happening. It'd be a great improvement.

Going from a corporate environment where everything was scheduled via Outlook, I was lost when scheduling my personal calendar. I’ve had Week Cal for years and it’s improved ever since. I tried other calendars and they fell short, especially with the alerts. I don’t think I could function without it!

This is still my favorite! Very well thought out! Attractive to look at. I like how you can use the different colors. It is my central calendar app!

Integrates w google calendars and I like the views. Only issue is that the colors don’t consistently match the calendar that the event is on.

I’ve been using this calendar on my iPhone for several years. It’s quite functional and easy to use. It has most of the usual US holidays, as well as a variety of religious holidays.... I do wish it had the Jewish holidays, which is my only criticism. Thanks!

Very satisfied with this product. Generally offers ease of event input and categorization through color schemes and individual local calendars and templates make repeating events less onerous. Wish the search function were a bit more robust (would be nice, for instance, to be able to search for all events colored blue or some other color).

This calendar is very versatile. I am able to replicate the view of an agenda like my paper calendar I used for years.

Text shrinks so you can see event info even in month view, and most details in week view. Very customizable also - lets you choose how many days to see in week view, for example.

In the week view the hours start from the top to the bottom. Can you make the hours start from the bottom to the top.

I really love the whole-week and mini-month views. Seeing a whole month with text instead of dots is very useful. Seeing the whole 7-day week on one screen helps me a lot with planning my week and tracking time. Especially for graphically-oriented people, this app is great!!

This is a very rich calendar package. Not for the faint of heart - it takes some time to set up and learn how to use but once you’re there you’ll never use another calendar again.

I set the ios option to prevent apps asking for reviews, but apparently week cal ignores it.

I love the multiple views - especially weekly agenda and mini month where you can actually see the events of the month. I have had only rare issues with bugs. Slightly annoying to have to pay extra for holidays but worth it.

Better than the iPhone calendar! I love mini month feature cuz you can actually see details of what you have for the month per day without just seeing dots and having to click on the day to see details. you can customize each event, make it bold by making it an all day event! Wonderful! Makes my life so easy.

So easy to navigate various views. I use the monthly view most, but go to other views depending o what I'm searching for. The color coding spotlights items in the big picture. Repeating events by date or number of days or weeks and setting alerts is simple. I love this free app. There is nothing that comes close!

This electronic calendar is a wonderful tool. I’d always used a paper calendar or just my memory to keep track of my kids activities. Now I don’t have to live in fear of what or who I might forget. I truly feel organized. Scheduling things is so much easier and I don’t overbook us. It helps that I can enter things once and choose for repeated entries. Thank you!!

Week calendar is a sold calendar app with some great power user features. I love that you can edit multiple events (even edit multiple locations, colors, etc. using the "tools" menu). Lots of view options, event sharing, calendar view presets, and good entry options including attachments and event duration options. It's the Swiss army knife of calendar apps, and a works well in combination with my other fav calendar apps. Happy to see that it keeps getting better with each update!

Works like advertised! It has in app purchases that I have not needed at all to do what I need! Free works for me but if you need more it is there!

I've used the weekly calendar for years and still love it. I've recommended it to friends. It's so much easier to see tasks over the month than the calendar that comes with iPhone.

The 6/6 app crash has been fixed; back to being an excellent calendar app. Easy to copy; set recurrence and color code items.

Upgraded review from 3 to 4 stars. Reason: finally figured out how to add new events after adding or deleting a previous event. Just tapping on a visible event changes the Delete icon to the Add icon. 10/5/2016 update: Cannot edit event to repeat, downgrade 4 to 3 stars. 11/30/2016 update: Please fix bug, every now and then the lime or purple or green highlighted events returns to red. Must edit events to selected colors but the preceding process repeats itself (5xs so far). 3 stars to 2 stars. BTW, using iPhone 7 with iOS 10.1.1. 2/25/2017: app freezes! Now and then it shows "no events" when there are events scheduled. Unbelievable! 6/6/2018: After latest update (11.2.3) today, app CRASHES when attempting to open it. Tried a few times same result (CRASHES)! iOS is 11.0.3 6/7/2018: So far after updating to 11.2.3.1, app opens & doesn’t crash! Thank you for responding so quickly!

Provides all that I could want in a calendar, BUT, I would enjoy the ability to adjust font size in the Agenda view.

Now I can’t open it at all after the last update! Could the admin fix this?

App won’t open. There is no update pending.

I’ve saved approximately 15 different types of templates only to have them disappear. I added them again and within a day or two, they disappear again. What’s the point of having templates if they continually disappear? Fix this or delete it all together… Complete waste of time.

It keeps me well organized

Love the easy set-up of events, the event reminders, and love, love, love the color coding and easy switch from day to week view. I am sooooo much more organized and relaxed because of this ap. Get it.

New review: don't know how to turn off the flood of minor holidays. Seems like every day has one. Most annoying. Works well for me. I like the recurring feature. Could use a task list with priorities like Palm or Franklin Dayplanner. Copy doesn't work.

Was looking for a good way to keep track of appointments and was very unhappy with the one that came with the iPhone. Been using this one for a few months and think it is great. The latest upgrade made it even better. Very glad that this was the first one I purchased, I am not even thinking about looking for a better one, has to be the best $1.99 I ever spent.

I love being able to colorize each family members different activities!

Works great, synchs easily with Outlook, easy to use & maintain. Simple & straight forward & works really well on the iPod Touch or iPad of any size. (Way better than the app that comes with.)

I have been using it for years. I would like to see the option of adding an alert before an event ends as opposed to only being able to create a alert before or at the time of the event. For example, creating an alert 10 minutes before an event ends. That would be helpful when I have multiple events and multiple places to be.

Wish I could remove certain US holiday y days.

I’ve been using this app for years. In my mind it is far superior to the native calendar app provided by iOS.

Not their fault, but IOS prevents events from opening WeekCal, making you frequently go through an extra step. Bad Apple.

I have multiple events that occur on "first" Friday, or "Third" Thursday and so on. This app and the variety of ways I can set reminders has been a great help.

22Jun2018 - The issue of addresses being duplicated in the location field of an event has been fixed with this latest update. Week Calendar has always been a top contender and I am thrilled to be using it again. 03May2019 - Another version release and despite the developers claim adding an address to the location field still results in duplicates of the address. No other app does this. I give up. 19Apr2018 - With version 11.2.0 and the two previous updates Week Calendar duplicates addresses entered in the event location field. In my experience this is the only calendar app that has this bug, and I have tried more such apps than I can recall. reported this to the developers two updates ago and yet it still persists. I would love to use Week Calendar, but will not do so with this bug. The layout and overall presentation of the various views are truly good, however. Maybe someday, but certainly not now. 10Feb2018 - Despite the claim this latest version does not at all fix the issue of the duplication of addresses in the location field for events. This is a deal breaker for me and I will no longer use the app. This is a shame because Week Calendar is truly great in so very many ways. Old review. Making mistakes is no stranger to me. Not realizing that Week Calendar offers the very best option to the Apple iOS calendar was most definitely a mistake. I have bought and tried them all, but I always comeback to Week Calendar. The clarity of information display, the ease of entry/editing and the sharing options cannot be beat. Save yourself the effort and stick with Week Calendar. 10May2015 My feelings remain unchanged with this latest version of Week Cal. It is a calendar and it handles this job in a most excellent way. I have yet to find a better calendar/event app for iOS.

Been using this from early on and still the best app for me. Easy to use, not fussy, not too "precious" or over developed. It's a working tool, not a pretty one which is what I wanted. I use this for personal appts with my work exchange (outlook) calendar seamlessly.

Write it once and you won't forget. It’s improving and becoming more stable.

I have my family all connected with multiple colors for each person. We are much better organized. Lots of special extras. Use them or don't, they are optional but handy. Integrates well with Google Maps.

I use this app multiple times a day. The color coding allows me to streamline my schedule and keep everything organized. I really don’t know what I’d do without this app!

Week calendar is pretty good! There were some changes not to long ago where the location would automatically pull up an address, but it doesn’t do that anymore for some reason. Also, I used to be able to start typing an appointment and it would automatically pull up a similar one from my history as a suggestion, it doesn’t do that anymore either. I tried reaching out to someone for help but did not get much of a response, or any. Otherwise, I like the app.

It's a really great calendar because you can see items at a glance. You can color code it for special events. Wonderful!

Week Cal has many more functions than the iOS app. Integration with Outlook thru iCloud is a major plus. Still learning how to set up shared calendars, so my comments are limited to single-user experience.

I live by this calendar. It works great. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn’t keep your old information. There times when I’d like to go back and check when I did something but it’s not there

I love this app and have used it exclusively for a number of years now. I like the agenda view because I can see the whole week's appointments laid out in a familiar calendar format. The rolling event feature makes it easy to manage incomplete tasks by automatically rolling them over to the next day. I gave it only four stars because recently the program has seemed unstable and closes down unexpectedly or gets hung up and I need to power off my device and restart...Very inconvenient.

As much as I like Week and have used it for many years the developer does not respond to a problem I’m having besides my several reminders. It seems that once you have paid the subscription they don’t care anymore. Option: Delete and install a different app. I have contacted the developer now 4 times with the request to address consistent problems with installing add ons from the store. NO RESPONSE - NOTHING

I use the mini month and really like it. I can see what I need to and take another step to see detail that would overcrowd the big picture. I do not like the fact that I cannot see the first few days of the month when I first open it.

It is a pleasure to have the extended abilities beyond Apple’s very basic calendar. It is the Swiss Army Knife of iPhone calendars. One of the nice features is being to attach telephone numbers and email addresses from your address book. Its iPhone layout is far more readable and friendly than Apple’s. Best of all, every change you make on your iPhone calendar is seen on your Mac calendar. Very highly recommended. Original Review- The Swiss Army Knife of mobile calendars, it provides a friendly set of tools to insert, label, order, search and review events. It rides the coat tails of the far inferior Apple calendar and makes calendaring a very useful pleasure. A highly recommended product.

I've been using this app for a couple years now. I used to have a paper planner and hated to give it up but the ease of this and how in a moment I can add, edit, delete or copy and paste is great. If I could rate it a zero I would. This app has been great for a long time but in the last year or so they haven’t kept up with the apple updates. It will no longer save my templates (they disappear right after doing them) and it will not sync properly anymore with shared users. Customer support on this issue has been nothing short of terrible. Went from being the best calendar app to the worst.

Week calendar is a sold calendar app with some great power user features. I love that you can edit multiple events (though sadly editing the location for multiple events does NOT work, so -1 star). Lots of view options, event sharing, calendar view presets, and good entry options. It's the Swiss army knife of calendar apps, and a works well in combination with my other fav calendar apps. Solid app overall.

The app keeps freezing when using a template. Tech help has ignored many emails requesting assistance. I have sent screen captures and error event logs. The tech support is like a black hole. I have used this calendar for many years. I really like the number of views that the calendar provides. I also like the many shortcuts that the program offers for setting up routine tasks and automatically inputting regularly used information . The rolling events are also very helpful. I appreciate the straightforward interface, and the color-coded events.The technical assistance has also been helpful. It is the most used app on my phone.

Have used this app for years. Something changed with Templates over a year ago. I reported it, received reply, but never repaired. Create a template; it no longer syncs to my iPad, and disappears on my originating device either immediately or soon after creation. Also happens if I start with iPad, doesn't get to phone. Yes, syncing is on and other things are syncing properly. So, out of continuing frustration, I'm making this public.

Great calendar to keep track of my appointments. Especially like ability to default appointments to any length. Rolling event is extremely useful & not available in iPhone calendar app. Also like the way deleted appointments are stored, similar to Windows trash can, so when a patient cancels but wants to reschedule at a later date, the information is kept & I can just edit the date & time & restore the new appointment. Sophisticated, flexible and easy to use. PS: I recently retired but would like to add WeekCal repeating events are far more flexible than iCal’s.

One of the best, or the best calendar for you iPhone.

My work calendar is released in month-long blocks, and can be very irregular (the days and times I work vary) within these blocks. This is the only calendar I have found so far that lets me easily view the entire month (mini-month view) at once. All the other calendars have dots or color blocks but not the details. Works well with Google calendar. I love it!

I have been using Week Cal for nearly 8 years. It has everything I could ask for l, and the main reason I purchased it way back when was because I could actually see my event, instead of it being a dot. I have also received excellent customer service whenever I have had a question, comment, or suggestion. I’ve been using this calendar app since getting my first iPhone. Its got fantastic functionality that allows me to effectively schedule my busy work and personal live. It also interacts well with other apps such as Maps, Safari, Contacts, etc. The color coding allows a first glance look at my day, week, month that is extremely helpful. Overall, a quality product that just keeps getting better.

03May2019 - Another version release and despite the developers claim adding an address to the location field still results in duplicates of the address. No other app does this. I give up. 19Apr2018 - With version 11.2.0 and the two previous updates Week Calendar duplicates addresses entered in the event location field. In my experience this is the only calendar app that has this bug, and I have tried more such apps than I can recall. reported this to the developers two updates ago and yet it still persists. I would love to use Week Calendar, but will not do so with this bug. The layout and overall presentation of the various views are truly good, however. Maybe someday, but certainly not now. 10Feb2018 - Despite the claim this latest version does not at all fix the issue of the duplication of addresses in the location field for events. This is a deal breaker for me and I will no longer use the app. This is a shame because Week Calendar is truly great in so very many ways. Old review. Making mistakes is no stranger to me. Not realizing that Week Calendar offers the very best option to the Apple iOS calendar was most definitely a mistake. I have bought and tried them all, but I always comeback to Week Calendar. The clarity of information display, the ease of entry/editing and the sharing options cannot be beat. I can’t get the app to alert me for my appointments. Is there something I’m doing wrong? My notifications are on for the app but it never reminds me or alerts with a tone when I set one.

This is the best calendar app out there bar none.

I would like to not have my calander filled with all kinds of holidays. I would like to choose my own holidays. If you have to put in the holidays at least let the user delete them if they don’t affect them. They are all over my schedule and you keep adding new ones.

I couldn't want anything else in a calendar. The colors and emojis make it easy to check at a glance without having to read everything, and the flexibility of the repeating events really helps keep my kids' lessons, practices, aa well as my meetings all organized and visible. Keeps getting better.

My husband and I have been using this app for about four years. We’ve had some trouble over the years with it being slow to sync new or changed entries between our phones, and with it creating multiple listings of the same events without allowing us to cancel some. These problems seem to have been resolved for the most part, but I’m not sure why. It may be that you’ve made improvements. It may also be because I’ve spent huge amounts of time at several points trying out all possible options so as to understand all of the other calendars and events that seem to feed into our own calendars. Many have ambiguous names and some entries come from very unexpected places. It probably shouldn’t fall on the user to have to do all this. And as another user said, I hardly ever manage to complete an entry without having to go back and make a correction. Since I don't have trouble with other apps, I am thinking maybe it's not me .... but rather that the interface could be clearer and easier to use. Honestly, had I known all this, I probably would have changed to another program, but by that point, I was reluctant because I felt like I had invested so much time with this one. So.... now I would say that we are reasonably happy with things and we surely do depend on our calendar, but it has not been easy.

I have used this calendar app for a couple of years. I like how it can highlight certain types of entries. I would prefer a one step move to get back to mini month for visibility.

I find this calendar very easy to use, easy to view for an understanding of what is upcoming and without a lot of the extra BS some other calendars have.

As stated in the title, I love this app. I've been using it for maybe 5-6 years, shortly after I got my first iPhone (my phone before that was a Palm Centro, which had a GREAT calendar). Weekly Calendar has everything I need plus more, and they are always improving it. My favorite parts are being able to assign certain types of events a specific color (such as errands being purple, appointments being bright pink, etc.) as well as auto-color, in which I assign specific to a specific name or title (such as events pertaining to my daughter). I'm a visual person and need events to stand out from each other; otherwise, everything blends in together when I’m looking for something specific. I also have Week Calendar on my iPad. However, in the past week, and only on my iPhone, I have lost the ability to keep new colors that I have created as well as use auto-colors for specific events. I’ve done everything I know of, including deleting the app, but I’m just not able to create and keep colors as well as assign colors to specific events, even colors that I don’t create, colors that come with the app. It’s frustrating.

Best calendar ever. Continue to work/improve and you will remain far superior to even Apple's own calendar. Occasionally crashes but still worth the minor inconvenience. Used this app for years and compared to virtually every other competitive app & still remains by far the best calendar. 3-13-18…… does not sync as well as it should, specifically… My calendar colors and auto icons are a constant problem.

This is simply the greatest calendar app. Whenever I accidentally open iCal, I audibly groan.

It says it will sync your outlook calendar as well, but it won’t. I didn’t need an app that syncs the icloud calendar with my google calendar, because the default calendar already does that. Waste of time. Waste of money.

This app has ALWAYS duplicated every event that I added. I can live with it, most of the time I can delete one of the duplicates- the other is usually “read only”. BUT, this morning I notice an event that looked like I added a typo. It’s not mine! This app has auto-added Eid al-Fitr!! What?!?!? I looked it up and it’s the end of Ramadan-a holiday I’m not remotely interested in. It’s “read only” so I can’t delete it. Out of curiosity, no Jewish holidays are listed yet Easter auto-filled, yet Lent isn’t on there either. Nor is Magha Puja Day. How about just letting me add what I want!!! MY calendar is customizable for a reason- with things that are important to ME!

Love the app❣️❣️ Will be great if To-Do list included to the Notes section of events. And if the check marks could be put when things are done. It is easier for me to keep my to-do list in week cal. Would be great if to do list and notes section separately from the events can be integrate as well.

I want to give this 5 stars. I continue to give it a 3 because of the continuing Alert problem. I have once again sent a notification regarding this problem. I have had this app from nearly the very beginning. I would have stopped using this app long ago if I didn’t love it so much. I’ve invested too much time an effort inputting dates, info, & appts etc. I want to use this app. This is what I sent to them this time: I have be asking for several years to pls fix the alert notifications issue. The fact that the timing of the alerts (1st, 2nd 3rd etc). You choose an alert for 1st. Then you choose a 2nd. The 2nd changes to the 1st. You make a 3rd and then that changes. I know that I’m not the only one to complain about this. When I first installed the app it was happening. I asked about this and the response was that nothing could be done about it. I find it very hard to believe since this app has had many updates. Pls pls address this problem. It is very frustrating. Thank you

WeekCal is actually fun to use, there are a lot of different color options to color coordinate your events with and creating event templates for recurring events is a nice quick way to add things to your calendar. Also, when you add the address of your event it immediately calculates its distance from the event listed prior to it and creates a quick link to stream the address into your phones gps with just one touch. You can also put emoji’s in your event’s titles!

This keeps me up to date and in time for everything occasion in my busy life.

I just got an iPhone and I live and breathe by my calendar. I need a calendar that has an easy to use weekly view that shows events in time blocks that I can colorcode. I dont need a monthly view as a default and i especially dont need a yearly view. Done and done. I downloaded several different apps to find one that fit and this one was exactly what I was looking for. This should be the iPhone calendar installed by the manufacturer.

I wanted my calendar color coded with multiple alarms (not just 2). I wanted different views. I wanted more options for repeating events. This has all of the above and synchs just as well as the default app. The two areas for improvement still would be customized alarm sounds specific to events, and scheduled silent and non-silent modes. I'd like a meeting event to silence my phone during the meeting and go back to sounding mode when the meeting is over without me needing to remember to do it. Still worth 4 stars though!

I like being able to see my month at a glance. I think the only thing I noticed is that I need the font to be bigger. Such is life when getting older and needing reading glasses! But other than that, it’s the best calendar app out there!!!!

I have had no problems. Love the choice of views and color categories.

This app gives a weekly snapshot of all my events. I use the agenda feature 80% of the time and the semi monthly feature 15%. It enables a dynamic reference to the location along with a map and directions It archives the event name making it easier to post additional appointments. I wouldn’t know what to do without this app.

The calendar pulls birthdays from my contacts but not other dates. I have missed so many anniversaries!!!! Can you help?

Title says it all. I have used Fantastical as well, and overall I find Week Calendar to have a better feature set when it comes to moving/duplicating/rescheduling events.

I’ve used this app for many years in lieu of the standard calendar app that came with my phone and love its functionality. Using the emojis help my appointments to stand out when I’m using the mini month view which is my preferred view.

My family has been using this calendar app for a few years. We really appreciate the different views it offers, especially the ability to see a Monty’s activities using the Mini Month view. I definitely recommend this app.

Don’t know why I thought I’d be able to integrate well with my Google calendar. This app seems to only integrate with a calendar I’ve already connected to through the phone itself, there’s no option to log in to my Google account. So, all the colors I’ve assigned to events in Google all become PURPLE because they’re all on the purple calendar. Then I assign a color to a new event I create with this and that color isn’t carried over to Google. Barf. I just wanted a nicer week-at-a-glance than Readdle.

Since it’s inception I woud give this app a 5+ Star rating if asked, but since the last version update in April 2018 they have made this easy and beautiful intuitively simple app into a TRAVESTY. Why did you change it to be so complicated??? When I click on an event to change it I don’t want to have to dig through layers to get to an Appt! Why would you make it “easy” to change an Appt DESCRIPTION ONLY once already set (Who needs that???) but NOT make it easy to CHANGE THE TIME a feature a BUSINESS person uses ALL THE TIME!!! Stop making updates to please millenials who want everything to act like a game and focus on pleasing your TARGET audience: BUSINESS PEOPLE! 2 Stars now.

I like most things about this app, but I’m going to go back to my other iPhone calendar because my location is always wrong and can never give me good time frames for how long it will take me to get to my next meeting. Even though my location is set correctly.

The availability of a weekly perspective is huge. Apart from that, the app's flexibility contends with that of it's competitors, but for the weekly perspective the app is absolutely worth it. I also LOVE the ability to set multiple reminders.

2/13/15 NOPE... "tap and hold to create new event" bug is still not fixed after several months and several updates (after a while the app has to be totally closed and reopened in order for the New button to reappear again. Not a major issue, but still an annoyance after months and having contacted support. I don't recall it was an OS-level bug, but who knows. It might be time to just stop updating critical apps (and OSes) until the new versions have been released to the public for at least a month. 2/11/15 Yup--they totally s****** up the auto colors in this update. NOW who's laughing about all my OCD screen shots of those settings??! :) (Guess I had a feeling this could happen one day.) Now it's just a matter of the developer releasing a bug fix update so those settings can all be recreated. Hopefully at least the "tap and hold to create new event" bug is fixed in this version, but it's too soon to tell. 9/26/14 Great product and great support. However, using the built-in dictionary ("Define") with inline editing is still a disaster (crashes), but that's probably an iOS bug rather than an app bug. Still, this hasn't worked in years, Apple. Get'er done! 8/26/14 Simply outstanding and still one of the best-designed, well-thought-out, and most-useful apps I've ever had the pleasure of using. What more can be said? 4/29/13 Still working very well. One feature I'd really like to see is the ability to back up and restore all settings and templates, etc., or at least all templates--perhaps to a Dropbox account, or even via email. So much time and effort has gone into creating templates and also general customizations. 11/1/12 Here's a "hidden" little feature: tap and hold the Action Menu button (whether enabled or not) for the option to select multiple events, which is followed by all kinds of fun and handy possibilities. 8/23/12 And it keeps getting better with periodic updates. 2/11/12 It seems to me that the bottom toolbar in portrait mode could be shorter, just as it is in landscape, where it works just fine. That would make a little more room for the calendar content. It took me quite a while to finally nitpick something with this app. Otherwise, in every way that I can tell, this is an app that sets the standard for all others. Plus, it keeps getting better with regular updates. This is also one of those rare cases where I'm actually a little disappointed in how little I paid for an app. 10/13/11 Except after the iOS 5 update, ALL the event colors were wiped out and set to the default. Frustrating. UPDATE 1/21/12: After that, I stopped using manual coloring and switched to using the Auto Colors feature which has been working quite well. -------------------------- After buying this app and running a small business with it for months now, I can't imagine going back to the stock calendar. Also, I really like this app's month overview and use it a lot. This is simply one of the very best apps I have acquired from a developer that seems to be high-quality and professional in every way. Also, the templates, copy/paste, and drag/drop features are just ridiculously useful and well-implemented. I also love how colors are used. ------------------- If you do a lot of scheduling or calendaring and appreciate a professional-quality, well-designed product at a good price, then download this little gem. Oh, one general comment for now: For some reason, this is an app I feared might have some stability issues, at least early on, but after some pretty heavy navigating and editing, etc., it has been rock solid... I've even crashed the native Apple calendar before.

I have been using this app or several years and have been very pleased with it's ease of use and overall functionality. It continues to outpace iOS calendar and I highly recommend it. The vendor is very responsive and support team is great. Some additional thoughts - latest update - I really like the ability to share an appointment. Minor item is the fact the delete icon is exactly where the information icon has been forever so habit causes some deleted appointments.

I've tried and used many others over the years, but this has and does everything right. Simple, flexible, intuitive, syncs with Google calendars, etc. Every update is an improvement, with no lost functionality or changes that alter expectations or execution. Dependable and indispensable to me.

Week calendar is a sold calendar app with some great power user features. I love that you can edit multiple events (though sadly editing the location for multiple events does not work, so -1 star). Lots of view options, event sharing, calendar view presets, and good entry options. It's the Swiss army knife of calendar apps, and a works well in combination with my other fav calendar apps. Solid app overall.

I only use the mini month calendar. It’s the best one I’ve found. Im retired so I don’t need the agenda part. That’s a YAY!

This continues to be my favorite calendar app. The Mini Month view is the cleanest and most useful that I have found. I’m using it with Google Calendar on an iPhone 8 Plus.

This is STILL my go-to calendar app and gets used every single day. For years. That says it all.

Allows you to repeat events on first Mondays or every 3rd Friday. Apple has no clue. Needs to be able to set default color choice to random colors. ********* 3/3/2016 Recent changes for delete function make deleting events convoluted, again ***** Still prefer to delete the previous quick way from the tool bar. **^^^* Delete function is still s pain. ***** 12/29/17. Tried search forba birthday. Why would I have set a date to start and end thst search? Never had to before. What did you ‘fix’ this time?

Very robust features, great update support, no bugs, lots of flexibility and options. This is just a very well thought out calendar app. No limitations or negatives in my experience. Well worth the modest price.

Great calendar to keep track of my appointments. Especially like ability to default appointments to 15 minutes or any other length. Rolling event is extremely useful & not available in iPhone calendar app. Also like the way deleted appointments are stored, similar to Windows trash can, so when a patient cancels but wants to reschedule at a later date, the information is kept & I can just edit the date & time & restore the new appointment. Sophisticated, flexible and easy to use.

I'm using it quite often. I also use a paper diary. That's all I can say. Tried a couple apps back in the days- this one is the best of the bunch. Still using it. Can definitely recommend it.

I use this app multiple times a day. The color coding allows me to streamline my schedule and keep everything organized. I really don’t know what I’d do without this app!

I have been using this calendar for several years with no issues until a few weeks ago. The only way to resolve my problem of getting it back to the format I wanted was to delete it and download it.

Never crashes, does everything I want and need. Syncs seamlessly with my iPad and Mac. Not used as a work calendar, so I can't speak to that, but as a personal calendar it is aces.

I’ve been using the app for years and I just recently noticed that my appointments and other events from the past three months have been erased. The only things that were saved were birthdays.

This is the very best scheduling App available on my iPhone. The calendars are set up to manage appointments efficiently and keeps me organized as well. Overall, moving through the calendar design is extremely user friendly,

These comments relate to my usage on my iPhone, which is my primary device to use for calendar purposes. 1. I use the monthly view. The first week of the month is hidden under the top banner (with the name of the month) if the month has some days that fall into a 5th week. You have to pull the page down or tap on the first week to get it to appear. When you do this, the page “hops” up or down to bring your selection into view. When you’re viewing the first week, the name of the month is no longer visible so if you are swiping between months, you have no idea what month you are looking at. The page “hops” are visually frustrating. 2. Calendar entries will spontaneously adjust the time from All Day to 24 hours, so that an entry assigned for All Day and Rolling will now show up as having a 24-hour assigned time, i.e. it will show up as a Friday and Saturday event, even though it was assigned as an All Day event only. This app has many wonderful features, especially the Rolling feature, so a few tweaks would be great!

Won’t let me delete extra calendars I don’t want

Love the dark background. The block scheduling helps things stick out much better than just a little dot on the day.

This app is much more flexible than the native Apple app and offers many more features.

Most calender Apps only let you search one year before in one year after including the iOS calendar app. With Week Cal you can search back for years and years and also set it to search for a year in the future so that as you enter dates they will show up Even if more than one year in the future. Fantastic app. My favorite.

I've been using this app for 6months to a year now and really really love it. The mini month is SO useful to me. It's just about like the month view in google calendar on a full computer. I can see all my events in one view. There's little great features too - if you have too many things to see in the mini month line (mon-sun), you can scroll down in the line without switching views. Likewise if the event has lots of details, you can scroll the window that pops up when you tap on it. You can even edit a lot of the event without needing to go to the edit window. This calendar is worlds more useful to me than the stock calendar. Oh, and I was testing CalenMob and this one seems to have more features and runs much quicker than CalenMob. There are tons of features, many of which I don't use, and he option to use them or not. Options are lovely. The only thing I'd say could use improvement is that the notifications from weekcal are linked to the stock calendar and will take you there rather than weekcal if you tap on them. This hasn't been much of an issue for me as I just notice that I have an event reminder and then go straight to weekcal. Price when I got it was only $2 too. Thank you!

I appreciate weekcal as it helps me get to meetings and appointments. When I set something up, I’m reminded of conflicts. I can set as many reminders as I need and sometimes I need them days ahead.
