The simplicity of this app is one of the strengths. I keep all my meeting records in one place and can always review by date what was discussed. My team is very impressed when they receive an email of the minutes mere seconds after we hang up. It would be nice to have ability to add attachments or even meeting agendas.

I have been on a quest to find an app that I can use to track my music practice. All of the music pre-fabs focus on time. I was looking for a focus around the individual pieces, such that I would know when I played a piece last, what I did, where I left it, and what to do next time. This Meetings app is doing the job perfectly. I use one file per day. My pieces are loaded as 'Attendees'. The 'Notes' allows me to annotate what was done on each and what needs to happen next time. I create 'Action Items' from the notes, and assign them to an individual 'Attendee' (song). When I begin the next day's practice, I review my repertoire list and decide what I will work on, then import the tasks associated with each piece as an 'Agenda Item'. I love having everything in digital form, as it is searchable and archivable. And this Slidetorock app's pre-formatting means that I don't have to spend a ridiculous amount of my limited practice time writing down notes.

Great app - hope it continues to evolve and grow

I purchased this app because I realized I was spending an inordinate amount of time at work taking paper notes that later were re-entered into the PC or scanned into a PDF. This app has all but eliminated my use of paper note-taking. I am now creating meeting agendas and taking meeting notes that I Email to myself (or to the participants) and keep all the information in a digital format. The ability to create a Follow-Up meeting (with the same name and same participants, but updated date) is especially great. It saves a lot of time with repeating events. I love the fact I can mail a PDF to myself. At the office I am using PDF as a standard file format. The PDF file naming is smart. YYYY-MM-DD-Meeting-Name.pdf means I can save the files and have them auto-sorted by the date of the meeting. This feature is probably my favorite. I gave it four stars instead of five for a few reasons. First, that the app does crash a little more than I'd like. In particular, if you are making multiple changes to Attendees, it can crash (but no data is lost). Also, the Notes editing screen is a little cumbersome. It insists on scrolling to the middle of the screen, even if there's more than a full screen of information, so I'm manually scrolling a lot - this really should allow you to type all the way to the bottom and then scroll once the screen size is exceeded. Finally, the interface for adding Action Items and for adding Attendees is cumbersome. You have to add them one at a time, then click Done, then click the button to add another person. It remembers the last people you picked, but it isn't truly a link to your contacts - it's a copy. So if you later edit the Contact entry for that person, it is not reflected in the Recent Contacts field. It would also be nice if you could swipe a meeting entry (left rail) to the right or left and get an option to delete or forward the message, without having to touch "Edit" and then selecting the message and taking the action. Still, these are minor in the overall scheme. Day in and day out, it works great. I now use my iPad in every meeting, every day. Thank goodness for the extended battery life of the iPad and my keyboard.

Good app, needs a couple changes

Not sure why anyone would use this instead of Evernote.

Is app is easy to use and is the best app out there for tking meeting notes, setting up to do lists and being able to easily retrieve that data. Support is quick to respond and very friendly to deal with. For the price you cannot go wrong with this app.

Just what I was looking for!

This is a really simple and straightforward app, and it works perfectly for me. Honestly, I'm really selective when it comes to applications, because I build them for a living. I know how hard it is to keep feature sets from overwhelming basic User functionality. This is simple and intuitive, syncs with Dropbox for archival purposes, has just the right amount of customization. I love that there are only two options; tasks and notebooks. And that your tasks list out all the captured action items from your notebooks is really genius. Product and developments have really thought about usability and how to make note taking elegant. I've used Evernote, Asana, JIRA with Confluence, all sorts of complex fancy pants systems. What you need is a way to take notes in meetings, send the notes around to those you select and then actually do the things that were requested in the meeting. Sounds straightforward. But if you're in constant meetings, and never get a moment to think, it's not. Now, with "Meetings" ... it is. I use this on my iPad Pro, in conjunction with OmniFocus2 and a moleskine notebook. I still take notes by hand, often, but will type them up quickly with the help of the format, which has just the right number of options and layout. Perfect. Don't listen to all those who want to add extra bells and whistles, it's way harder to make something simple that works. "Meetings" works. Boom. Mic drop.

Amazing App!

As a Project Manager, this great app allows me to write all meeting notes and organize them by "Notebooks" which I utilize as individual Projects. It also allows me to just export or email these notes easily. Just two request: 1. Ability to sync to a cloud service (iCloud, Evernote, etc) 2. Ability to create teams (allow to add users to teams for quick access)
