This used to be a great app and I had several databases in it. Recently, it has had a lot of glitches for me and is not working well at all. I miss the old app, which I would have easily given five stars. I gave only three since it’s messing up for me recently.

This product has absolutely zero customer support. I have tried and tried and tried to find out how to do some things with it but there is no place to go. You can click on to the side and you get this tedious bunch of garbage that doesn’t help you in the least. Just be aware of that before you buy it.

I have been using this app for over 3 years. Heavy daily use for work and also for tracking data outside work. It may be somewhat intimidating for someone who is new to databases but support is available. Highly recommend the additional forms manager also to make data entry screen a breeze! I can help set up your database!

This is hands down the best database management app available on iOS. The developer has been doing this since Palm Pilots. The custom form extension is what makes this app incredible and you should get if you are looking to create custom data collection forms. I've tried pretty much all of them and this is the best and the cheapest for the available features.

Easy to customize or use templates others have created. I like the ability to use filters and search for specific things. Highly recommend it.

I've used this app since my Palm Handspring days and on every PDA/phone platform since. The speed and utility built into HanDBase is unmatched by any of the DB options costing less than $50. The only thing that would best it, would be FileMaker, and I haven't decided to drop hundreds of dollars on the Mac application for that (the mobile app for FileMaker requires a desktop installation to do anything useful), so I can't speak to any comparisons between the two of them. In all fairness, Filemaker is a business app where HanDBase is more of a consumer app with some business applicability. To give an example of the power of HanDBase, I built an asset tracking HanDBase database that mimicked our company's St Croix Systems Asset Manager in ALL its major functions including but not limited to: asset records, service records, part inventory, parts usage & ordering, PM scheduling & procedures. I used this for years as a notepad to record my time at work instead of using the slow, limited mobile app provided by St Croix Systems. My HanDBase Asset Manager DB was recently retired when our company went to Four Season's TMSPro which is web based and which I can run directly from my phone or ipad. However, I still use HanDBase extensively at work for its speed. For example, I can dump a complete table of our parts in TMSPro to Excel (over 9700 parts), do a save to a CSV file, then create a HanDBase DB by importing the CSV. This gives me a mobile parts list that I can access, locating ANY part(s) as fast as I can type in a search. Instant response, no lag or search time. Much better as a tool than the much clumsier, slower internet access into TMSPro. Thus I still use HanDBase to speed up my work even though I have complete access to our company DB through my phone or pad. Other uses include tracking all information for my pool leagues and a NASCAR Fantasy League that I host. This app is by far the most used app that I own.

Just one more app that promises efficiency and reliability. It can't handle accdb or acces 2010 database files. I have a database which I would like to communicate with the phone. Just one more dissappointment. I guess it does provide support if you buy a $35 dollar desktop client. No thanks.

I’ve been using HandBase since I was a resident in about 2000, starting on the Palm Pilot, and all the way through to the iPhone6 now. I like, it, but the Desktop sync should be built in to the desktop version; as it is, once the demo ran out, I am told to sync my phone I have to buy a Plus version, but the website only offers upgrades to a Windows version, not a Mac version of HanDbase Plus. So kind of stymied now!
