Reviewed on 9/6/18 3:09 PMThe application as a markup tool functions fine. Where it falls short is everything else. WebDAV connections still don’t work even with the newest update. I contacted their support for some insight on the WebDAV connections and to see if there is any planned support for OneDrive. I was informed that major development for the iPad app had ended and they are only working on critical bug fixes. That makes zero sense to me. Apple isn’t going to stop releasing iPads, so why are we not going to get any new features? I suggest finding an app that will continue to be better supported in the future.

And I love the fact that I can use my Box.net account to manage my drawings, because with PlanGrid I was limited to the 50 drawings I could store on their servers. Not good for me since most of my plan sets typically exceed 70 drawings. On the job site it's functionality is second to none. I just bring up the set of plans, set my scale, and I'm off! Adding pictures, annotations, and very precise measurements. Significantly increasing my workflow. I really can't say enough good things about this app. A few things I hope to see in the future are totals, curved measurements, and tool presets. While this application is the most full featured markup for PDFs, especially for those in the construction/building/design industry, the app gets flaky and unstable after heavy use. For those frustrated, try the following: backup all Bluebeam files. Delete the app. Reinstall app and then restore the files to Bluebeam. I used iExplore or something similar. What Bluebeam doesn't explain to you is that every time you open a file from mail or Dropbox or another app, a copy is saved into a "hidden" or unseen folder called "Inbox" in the app. I had over 880mb of data in this folder. No wonder the app crashed every time I tried to multitask or import a file from Dropbox. I deleted the files in this "Inbox" folder when I reinstalled the app and restored all files. In other words, I did not restore the inbox folder. Voilà, it works...with exception to,opening files from Dropbox (big disappointment). I still believe the interface/navigation of the app to change pen sizes, colors transparencies, extraction of sheets (hey at least the app can do it,even if only by email) etc., could be improved, but the feature set is unmatched.

Reviewed on 11/16/18 2:09 PMAbsolutely love the desktop version but this app is clunky, feels dated already, poor software support for use of the Apple Pencil, picks up every little touch of the hand whilst I'm writing mark ups. Disappointed to say the least when the desktop version is so good. I'm a huge user and would love to see some major improvement on usability, versatility, interface and function ASAP.

Reviewed on 11/16/18 2:09 PMBluebeam is a great program and I love the desktop version. Unfortunately this app is not as stable and has caused loss of time. As an Architect I have been trying to use the program for punch list but it does not work as advertised. The program crashes when using it in the field, the punch list label subject appear to change subject but when it is brought into the desktop and a capture summary is created the program reverts back to the original subject. I hope Bluebeam fixes these issues soon, till then it is cumbersome and disappointing.

Reviewed on 11/16/18 2:09 PMSo I love Bluebeam. Use the full version on my PC at work and love having this app on the go. here's the problem. It's glitchy now, Pages disappear and don't come back unless I restart the app. This is constantly. The app is not formatted for IPad Pro. The app used to be incredibly fast in processing pdfs, but now it is lagging. Markups don't use the fantastic features of the pencil. A good well rounded update is desperately needed.

Reviewed on 11/16/18 2:09 PMPlease add the ability to add and remove control points/pivot pints so we can add/subtract angle points as need during linear measurements and edit SF takeoffs. THe PC version allows you to do this so easy. Please make it so we can do this on iPad. Once we can add/remove these points, I will make it a better program for taking measurments in the field. Right now, if we miss one point, we have to start all over rather than just add one. Please please please fix. I emailed once already and clearly it never went anywhere. Also, fix crashing and bugs. Constantly saying I have low memory when I'm using my iPad Air 2. My buddy says same thing happens with his iPad pro. Fix the bugs, add the control point editing, and make this program run smooth. WE ALL PAID HARD EARNED MONEY. I EXPECT IT TO HELP COMPLIMENT YOUR PC PROGRAM NOT MAKE ME NOT WANT TO USE IT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Reviewed on 10/11/18 11:02 PMUsed it for several months now and I like the app. I’m a lead journeymen plumber and use it in the field to review plans, measure, markup, and communicate changes to the project manager and GC. Money well spent.

Reviewed on 1/30/18 3:44 PMThis program can’t be beat on PC. Mobile version is good, but has few bugs. I had lots of crashing problems. I found if I used the original files I had no crashing problems. If I tried to reduce file size to save on data across multiple devices, the crashing issues would appear. I tried adobe, Fox it, ect, and none are as easy to use as bluebeam in my opinion, although they could read the reduced size files, but with loss of bookmarks, and measuring ability. I like the field guys to be able to easily measure/scale, and have bookmarked files. Those features aren’t available on other devices. If I didn’t have the crashing bug this app would have gotten 5 stars. Use original file, crashing is drastically reduced.

Reviewed on 1/26/18 9:57 PMBluebeam has a great desktop app, but the mobile version is severely lacking. For one the Apple pen integration is weak. Other pdf editors have updated their software to support the pen. Also, it is slow and tends to crash if actually using the tools provided.
