This is a must buy. There are a few bugs, but I can tell you them even though it might just be for me. The only one I’ve ever had is where I’m watching a video then the stops and the video continues without the audio.

I am tired of the app not working if it’s not one thing it’s another this time is just irritating. Every time I go to remove something from my home page because I’m not interested, it freezes so no I have to deal with a bunch of c*** on my home page that I don’t care about. I love YouTube, I use it every day. I’ve paid for YouTube red for years. But now after you changed it to YouTube premium your price skyrocketed. Just because of that I will not use this app anymore. $10 was a good price to pay and it was worth it but f**k the extra 6 dollars that you added. It’s been $10 for a long time, why the h*** change it now. All I know is that because of that YouTube is no use to me anymore. Your just as overpriced as any other company now.

YouTube needs to be able to play music in background when app is closed.

So disappointed in the new update that shoved ads into the middle of my videos over and over! Watching them at the beginning and end is no big deal but all throughout stinks!

Great app but one suggestion is that when I watch a video and click on another video, I want to be able to easily go back to the previous video I was watching because there was another video in the up next on the previous screen that I wanted to watch and it disappeared. Correct your algorithm . Letting it put down the LGBT community is not okay and it’s so disrespectful. From a business standpoint I understand but it’s tacky and disrespectful. Fix this please and stop hiding things that I purposely subscribed too. If I didn’t want to see them in my sub box I would unsubscribe .

I hate that you can’t have the same video multiple times in one playlist, don’t know why you would get rid of it.

I make sleeping and workout playlist sometimes with the same video playing more than once in the playlist. Why would you take away that option? I was a devoted red user every month. Rather pay for Spotify now.

Why is the audio in every video sound like a chipmunks song? It happened just after this update!

Not just on the home feed. When a direct linked video ends, I’m abruptly whisked off to some feed and a new video is played immediately... on the screen that shows auto-play is disabled. You guys call it maximizing engagement. I call it a bug at best or user-hostile at worst.

I love YouTube, and I love that they allow you to play videos from your phone onto the TV. However, I am not a fan of the fact that they’re pushing their paid service to play videos in the background while using your phone when you can have it on in the background on your computer. Oh well, it won’t stop me from using YouTube anytime soon, it’s just a minor inconvenience.

I like YouTube and use it a lot but could you please make an actual usable interface for a mobile app. Cause this is just bad and it keeps getting worse everything's in such a weird place and hard to find and navigate something needs to change.

I generally don't mind this app, but c'mon, Google: learn how to do touch! I stab 5+ times at the "Play/Pause" symbols in the middle of the screen, and instead of functioning, they HIDE the controls!!! How microscopic is the area one has to contact to successfully control a video??? This has been a problem right from the start, and I'm amazed it hasn't been addressed. Super frustrating…all the multi-poking one has to do—ALL THE OTHER VIDEO APPS DO A BETTER JOB in this respect.

I get YouTube wants to play the ads. But realistically how often do you think someone will repeat a long before moving to another video. The ads are boring, annoying, and get skipped 100% of the time. Add the loop feature already.

I can watch all my flat earth videos anytime anywhere and because I’m a paying member, I don’t have to worry about ads or interruptions. I would give more stars if possible 👍

I always have to choose what video resolution to watch videos in. I don’t have any SD options enabled and when I load a video it says auto. I don’t have slow internet it changes to HD as soon as I select the upper limit and doesn’t buffer at any point.

This app is good for people who make money from videos. But sometimes, I experience glitches that cause me to tap the wrong thing. Good try Google.

You should be able to pause a video when writing a comment without having to “discard” everything you wrote. Who came up with the workflow for this app? Utter idiocy. But I have it 3 stars because they finally fixed some of the huge bugs with the last update that they took literally months to fix.

Search any topic and discover a whole new world of insights. Save your favorite channels, watch cute to funny, learn conspiracies, technology, nature, fav ubtube channels, top tens, scary videos caught on tape, travel the world, watch receipts, or things that went viral. Stream from your phone to your TV! I like to switch between new movies, cable Tv, and you tube searches. No one searches and reads websites anymore. Just watch it all on you tube.

It’s a great place to get a wealth of information but it runs slow on all my devices no matter what country I go to. It would also be better if you didn’t sensor good people’s pages.

YouTube used to be great but now google is ruining it.

Youtube in general is one of my favorite internet streaming services and this app delivers with GREATLY ported UI and has a nice option to choose a channel to receive notifications for. Must get for people who like the website and want an easy way to stream YouTube on their mobile devices! Though there seems to be a problem where it isn't always able to connect to my tv, but it could be my tv's fault.

Stop over censoring content

Every time you open a video, an ad pops up. Skip is nice for some, but doesn’t skip every time. Also not paying for the ad free version of YouTube. Guess that’s what I get for free services. Good app and like the service, just hate the amount of ads.

There’s been a bug that whenever I sign out of my YouTube account and I search for a video it only shows recommendations and youtube channels please fix this!

Update 8/4/18- for those who can’t seem to dismiss the videos, I found the problem. You need to press & hold the video or three dots for more than 2 seconds and a pop up menu will appear and there you will be able to dismiss the video. YouTube really needs to address what they are updating instead of saying junk like “time-space continuum”. Tell us what it is that your trying to fix or adding YouTube. You are no longer able to dismiss videos that are not to your liking. The option to dismiss a video if it’s not to your liking or the algorithm thinks you want to watch football or rap music is gone. The option to dismiss videos on the iPad freezes to were you are force quit the app. The same feature on the iPhone is also gone and it forces you to watch the video instead. No way to say I don’t want to watch this video. I guess YouTube thinks everyone needs to watch football and rap music. I do everything on either my iPad or my iPhone and I don’t have PC anymore so if these features are not brought back then it’s time to give up YouTube and disappoint thousands of my followers.

I am appalled at some of the videos that are available on your site.Children have access to them.I caught my 10 yr old daughter looking at videos about how to have an o***** because her friend told her she could see n**** people on there.I can’t believe that w/ all the billions of dollars that Google has,it can’t filter videos better.Or,here’s a suggestion,don’t force me to carry the app on my phone.I can’t uninstall it or even turn it off.Or,maybe create an adults only app where children can’t see that.And before you go judging me,I do keep an eye on my children or else I wouldn’t have known that was going on.Kids are innocent.With all the problems in the world,it would just be nice to know that a company actually cares about the people who use its products.I am returning my daughters phone & getting her one w/options.I will no longer use or support Google or any of it’s partners.

I wished YouTube music would still play after leaving app

Great app! Sometimes a little buggy with the Fullscreen option.

They removed the do not auto play selector! All videos play one after the other. You have to manually stop each video to read the comments or select a different video. I also hate how difficult it is to use the scrubber bar to go backwards or forwards.

App used to be great now it’s flooded with ads. Can’t make it through a 10-minute video without being subjected to an ad interrupting every 2-3 minutes.

Your free to watch what you are interested in and see what videographers all over the world are creating.

From a few months it’s been crashing in the middle of the video and it says that the video contains contents that has been block or that I have ti pay to see the video when I just watch half of it, it’s been happening every day with almost everything ai watch. I’ve been watching the same things from years and never had this happened, so disappointed!

I Watch it everyday

Ever since iOS 11 YouTube has been plagued with AutoRotate issues on my iPhone X and other devices. Typically Auto Rotate works correctly, but if you go to the lock screen while in landscape mode, and return to YouTube with the device in portrait orientation, it does not auto rotate correctly without having to go back to landscape first, and then back to portrait mode to correct this issue. May seem like a small issue, but has been extremely frustrating to work around. Please fix ASAP!!!! Thank you very much!!!! Updated: 9/4/18 Auto Rotate issue still not fixed. Also, now the watch later button is completely broken too. Unless you long press it, it automatically open video, which is not what should be happening. The button I am referring to has is three vertical dots.

Literally these bug updates fix one bug and create 9 more.

It’s difficult to tap the 3 little dots on the right to each video. Sometimes I want to mark a video as “Not interested” & end up ‘tapping’ the video. So then, YouTube’s algorithm thinks I like those type of videos. Also, there are many watched videos consistently reappearing on my home page. I try to minimize this by clicking not interested and providing a reason. However, they still manage to pop up. YouTube needs an updated algorithm. Lastly, Seems as if you can’t have more than one of the same video in a playlist.

Why is the home indicator visible while playing videos now? It keeps striking through subtitle text as well as hotbars in different video game videos. NEVER OBSTRUCT VIDEO FOR ANY REASON. Especially in the center. I mean really? I have to be the one to explain why this is a bad idea to the developers of a video platform? How did this pass QA?

Why can’t we close the app and still listen, with out paying?

No words for it. YouTube is just amazing and if you don’t watch YouTube then what are you doing with your life.

I watch a lot of videos on Art and History etc. On my Apple TV and other devices. I don’t even have cable anymore. I watch News and other TV programs too. I wish I could utilize it to make money like some of these creative people!

I love YouTube. I have been using this app since I got this phone. But there has been one problem. I made a new YouTube account. But every time I go on it says “You are now using YouTube signed out.” The first time it happened, I was confused. When I went to log into my account again, it wasn’t there. For a while now it’s been doing it. My accounts have been getting deleted for some reason. I’m not sure if it’s because I haven’t updated it or it’s a bug. You say you fixed bugs it’s not true. This is obviously a bug. I swear if the developer does not fix this problem I’m never trusting you again! And if it’s not fixed by DECEMBER I WILL NEVER DOWNLOAD THIS APP EVER AGAIN

After the pst two updates my youtube crashes 30 times daily Even on my already downloaded playlists. This is EXTREMELY annoying while trying to listen to music in my car!

I get that this is a tactic to get me to buy a subscription, but interruptions every few minutes (and getting increasingly worse) are causing me to look elsewhere for content.

I think this app is awesome and cool

I use YouTube just about every day for school and entertainment and have only one gripe: the information bar/pause screen pops up about every 10 seconds while watching a video. It seems like many others have the same problem. I’ve tried re-install, turning off background refresh, restarting phone, quitting other apps, etc, etc. YouTube please fix this bug! YouTube is a great app but when I sync a speaker to my phone and put on YouTube it’ll disconnect my speaker I know it’s YouTube because I’m every other music app it doesn’t disconnect if YouTube could fix that issue it would be wonderful

Too much comercial lately, I hate comerciales at the beginning of every videos, now YouTube feels like a cheap tv channel , too much interruption. Plus if you have poor internet the wait to see something is eternal.

Could you guys add the option to select "not interested" in playlists? I've had videos that still pop up even after thumbing them down. We get it on the home screen, so why can't it be there? Also, could you stop automatically scrolling up to the description every time an ad plays? I’ve had far too many times I was scrolling through the comments when a mid or end of video ad came on and shot me all the way back up, making me lose my spot where I was reading.

Well I don’t know about you but I like to focus on my video but every few minutes the pause and play but pops up without me touching the screen. I don’t know what’s happening or if it’s happened to you but I can’t enjoy a video if I can’t even focus on what’s happing If a s***** white symbol keeps popping up. HELP

As a Praise and Warship team member, New music is easily located by titles or vocalists names entered in the search window. Some songs also include lyrics. Very helpful tool easily used. 👍

The new search settings focus on finding channels and not videos. I cant explore videos related to the title I'm searching anymore, only channels. Please change it to the way that it was before!

For the past couple months, videos have been constantly interrupted by the pause overlay popping up every minute or less. Extremely annoying and needs to be fixed.

I love your app however I wish I could go to other apps without it just shutting off the sound or music. Of course shut off for calls but txt or game apps etc it would be nice to be able to still hear whatever it is I’m enjoying on YouTube! Thx!!!

I remember when YouTube did have ads. At least 80% of the videos I watch I get adds or surveys that have to be dealt with before I can watch the video I have clicked on and the only way to be unbothered by surveys or ads is by paying for YouTube which I think the very idea of paying for a 5 minute video is absolutely absurd.

Too many advertisements 😡 literally like for every video. Sometimes it’s full videos as advertisements like more than 5 minutes and I can’t skip.

Holds back features to try to cheat you out of money, automatically turns on auto play every time you turn it off. Shameful garbage.

I think that you should add a screen recorder live! It would be great, I have another app but it won't let me go live and I've tried other apps but those won't work. Other than that, I think this app is ok!

I have an iPad Pro 10.5. Since the last update the app freezes if I tap on menu buttons or tap to expand a comment or try to indicate that I’m not interested in a video, topic or channel. Last update was either Aug 31, or Sep 1, ‘18. Other than that I really like the app.

This app has been in my life for years. I just got the app again and I still love it I am great full it was made. 🤓

Cool App. Wish there was more nudity

It’s pretty silly that the free YouTube app does not continue playing when you need to switch apps. Other media apps can do it just fine. Somehow YouTube thinks that you should pay for this feature. In the end is not a big enough reason to not use the app.

I don’t like that you can’t exit the app while playing music

I like listened to different things on YouTube. I have to keep my screen on in my pocket and drain my battery and hit buttons I don’t mean to because YouTube wants $16 dollars a month for a basic feature like playing when the screen is turned off. Makes me sick.

When I sometimes go back to the home page of the app, the search button completely disappears and will not come back until you restart the app. Google needs to fix a few other bugs that I reported as well, like the whole touch response freezing up, and not exiting full screen.

I like YouTube and recommend to all who want the entertainment and learn from the videos
