I have had this app for a long time. It is my go to app to break down a video frame by frame. Love it!

This app does what it should, it grabs nice stills that don't look like video clips. I love this app! I can switch to video when I’m out and not have to worry about missing a still shot, I just use the app.

Really easy to use. Grab the exact frame you want and export it to your camera roll. Simple and works great.

Sometimes you just took a video but need a still photo- this app makes that possible and works perfectly!

This app is simply brilliant.

I love this app, I use it to extract images for focus stacking in Affinity Photo from a Lumix camera which stores the exposures as frames in an MP4. The only downside to using the app is that when exporting multiple frames you have to express the starting and ending in time units instead of frame numbers (although frame numbers are the prominent display on screen). This results in a lot of flipping back and forth from export to preview to find the correct times which are often three decimal place fractions. If this were corrected it would go a long way towards user friendliness and would get 6 stars from me.

i tried a few free versions of this because i really wasn't keen on spending money, especially if i wasn't sure it was even going to work. but it is SO worth it and it definitely works. the quality of the photos is wonderful (if the video quality is) and it literally gives you frame by frame of the entire video - i went through two 4ish-min long videos and saved over 100 perfect, high quality photos. this is such a brilliant and well developed app and idea, i'm definitely happy w my purchase

This is such a great way to capture frame by frame the ideal picture! Video from Concerts, bird watching, wildlife and babies all typically hard to photograph, you will have your friends wondering how you did it. Love it!

A great utility APP for catching the key shot (frame). Recommend using Sli-Mo for sharper focus on action pics.

Very easy to use! I pretty much only do video now to capture the moment as it gives me the ability to select the golden nuggets from hundreds of pictures rather than a few average pictures.

I’ve thrown some pretty crazy film sizes at this App including 360 degree video. It might hiccup from time-to-time but I can’t think of one instance where it simply wouldn’t render. I’ve used it over 100 times. If your too broke to afford a labtop, let alone the Adobe suite, this App along with the MagicEraser app will, with a little time allow you to erase the background of a video. My kind of App all the way. Great work, team!

this is one of the few apps i use on a daily basis and have for years since i got my shiny new ipod 3gen, now i have newer devices, and this app is still supported! not many apps can say that with ios 11 coming out. not only is this app absolutely awesome but so is the dev!! I love this app, but I would appreciate if they had an option where you did not have to individually have to save every clip. They should have an option where you can mass save all the clips if you choose to. Would make the app more effective.

With this app, when taking an action shot, you can take a video and chose the perfect individual snap. Really good.

This is the best and easiest app to get photos from videos that I've used, to date. It is the 4th one I've tried. It gives me just the right number of frames to look through. It's definitely sped my project up, and for that I am really thankful.

This app makes it easy to extract high-quality stills from videos created in other apps. The interface is intuitive and easy to use, and the resulting image quality is excellent. I find the app particularly handy for capturing fast-moving subjects. For example, I can take videos of my grandkids on a swing set, and then use the Video 2 Photo app to extract clean stills from the video. It’s really pretty d*** cool!

I wanted to extract frames from a video on my iPhone or iPad, without going back to my desktop. This makes it easy to do that and save a full resolution frame, using a very friendly, simple, intuitive user interface. Given the quality of the app, well worth the price.

I was looking for an app that would let me take a frame from a video and use it for a photo. I've tried other apps. This one is the best. I would recommend it to anyone who takes videos and wishes there was a way to capture that one moment and make it into a photo. It's wonderful, works as advertised, and returns fantastic results.

You get a higher quality photo from screen shooting the clip from a video. Waste of money.

Great application from grabbing stills from your videos, easy to use and something I use on a frequent basis. Would be 5 stars but marked it as 4 due to the app not marking which videos you have viewed already or have an option to mark the video has being viewed - is this possible?

It’s silly that such an app is not free but this app works and does what you expect. 1.99 isn’t a bad price. Free would be better for such a simple thing.

I've tried other apps that do similar things but this is by far the best one. It's easy to use and does what it claims. Don't waste your time with other apps!

Easy to use and worth the $2 for unlimited use!

The app works quite well. Very useful for my kids as I can record them in 4K and pick and choose the best pictures, and export those frames as a printable picture! I just wish I had the plus size phone as the frames get a little small when I’m scrubbing through! One star knocked off for it begging for my review. I fully understand the need for update, but nothing irritates me more than being in the middle of something and having to deal with a pop up of any kind. Thank you for your reply to my previous, admittedly off the cuff “review,” Francis, I really do appreciate it and have amended my previous review to reflect my true feelings about your app.

I had very difficult time for selecting a still frame from Live Pictures of my iPhone. This App made my life very simple and working on Live Pictures a pleasure. The developers of the App have done a great job of making the App very intuitive and simple to use. I recommend this App to anybody who wants to share a still frame from Live Pictures with his friends.

Fantastic app. Amazing how many frames exist in a video. Being able to precisely grab a frame is far beyond native capabilities of my smartphone. Not a fan of the tutorial in the last release. I hope it stops appearing on its own as I don’t see an off setting.

I've tried other apps and the photos are always poor quality. This one is the best one I have found and all photos look good.

I took some video of an incredibly beautiful lightning storm and wanted to capture a few still shots from it for Facebook. I tried for hours to get just the right moment ok my phone, but it wasn't able to pause at the right moment. I thought I was going to lose my mind. Finally googled it and a different, free app with lesser ratings was recommended. I searched through the first few and saw the great reviews and decided to go for it. And I always try the free version first. I'm blown away by the ease of use and the quality - it only took a few minutes to figure things - it's beautifully advanced and equally simple to use. Love it!!

Works good but some improvements can be done. 1 I will like to see what was my last video selection since We are selecting from many videos. Simple shadow around video selected when selected and when going back after finishing with a video. 2 The App support website can’t be read cause it’s not clear with colors. Simple black & white will make it look more professional.

So far so good!!! It does videos and live photo. So excited. Totally worth $2 if it holds up. Yay.

Invaluable!!! One of my go to apps. Well thought out and easy to use interface. Can't live w out it. Instead of trying to click the iPhone camera at just the right time with faster moving objects or quick changing scenery, take a video and select the frame that captures what you were after. Gives the ability to shoot and click off 60 high def still frames in two seconds and choose the best one. simple, cleaver, intuitive and well thought out interface. Very helpful and fills an important niche.

Amazing app. Just what I needed to get the perfect still.

Update the app to add TIFF and RAW. Faster loading of the video on the app because it’s supper slow.

So far this app has worked flawlessly. I took numerous videos in the Galápagos, and now I have been able to cull the perfect frame.

Works perfect for capturing that perfect moment in a live photo.
