This is my go-to app for getting rid of unwanted objects in my photos. So convenient to access it right from my Camera Roll via share sheet. Usually it completely erases the object so one would never even know it existed. You can also remove lines. Highly recommend!

TouchRetouch is the best tool I have come across for for working with photos.

I have been using this app for over a year. I have used a number of other applications that have the ability to remove elements of a photo; that cost serious money. This app allows need to have the most success removing items with the least amount of work.

This is the best app for fixing photos. Removing unwanted items, cloning technology, and it intuitive abilities is outstanding. The under the finger or pencil technology, let you see exactly where you’re touching on the image, (off to the side) and is one of the best apps for removing or moving stuff around. I highly recommend it to anybody who’s want to fix an area or remove something from a photo. It WILL amaze you what all You can or can’t do with this app!!! I believe it is highly under priced as well.

IPad Pro 12.9 2018 Apple Pencil 2nd Gen When trying to use the remove blemish feature it isn’t recognized by the Apple Pencil 2nd gen. Only works when I use my finger.

If they had a free trial I never would have bought this. Doesn’t work for me at all. The icons are too small and the text under them is unreadable so I can’t even find what to use. When I try to use clone I get a blurry mess. DO NOT BUY

Can not accurately remove an object that is behind the one you want to keep. Also, lots of discoloration is left behind that can’t be remove.

App does exactly what it claims to do! Super easy to use. Do wish there was a way to go back to albums after retouching instead of going back to Home screen though.

I seamlessly erased power lines and graffiti from an abandoned church, a chain link fence from the foreground of a photo, and 50 people off the Santa Monica beach at sunset. Next I take over the world.

This app is fantastic. I have wished for something like this for years. I used to have a Microsoft program that did this but it was only for a PC and then they stopped making the program. This one is SO simple to use. I love it. I’ve only had it a day and I have already edited a ton of pictures. Several photos that I was reluctant to share with others because of unwanted items, I can now proudly share. Thanks Retouch team.

I have been looking for a simple, easy to use app like this for years. After a 5 minute tutorial I was able to do amazing edits to some of my photos. Highly recommended.

Best retouching app bar none

This app is good for small object removal but not great for bigger object.But overall it’s a great app!

To be able to erase birds, or signs or any mess I’ve made with my photography and if I’m careful enough this app helps me erase junk in my photos and makes them perfect. A nearly seamless Image that otherwise would have been trashed. Thanks for this app.

Finally an app to erase lines and objects. It seems to work best, when the objects are in an open space, or it distorts the object it is near or overlaps. The line removal is awesome. Still trying to figure out the brush and eraser, love it. Worth the money

I am not a photographer- my experience is limited to taking iPhone photos of my adorable puppy. I thought this app was interesting because there’s always that one, small thing I wish I could change about a photo. Now, I’m able to clean my photos up a bit and keep the focus on the subject of my photo. This app is nothing short of amazing. Its easy for even the most novice of users! Along with an awesome app comes a developer that’s responsive and really seems to care about the customer and their product. Touch Retouch is amazingly easy, smart, fun to use, and very effective at removing annoying imagery (such cars, telephone lines, etc.) from photos, leaving users with picture-perfect works of art. Also, I give customer service an A+ for being so thorough, expedient, professional and diligent while helping me understand complicated issues related to my iPad. (NOTE: I learned that, because my iPad was almost out of memory, I had to have WiFi on for Retouch to work—so it could access the hi-res copies of photos that my iPad had stored in the cloud. This is the result of an iPad setting that only leaves lo-res copies on one’s device (because memory is low). Retouch knows this, so it provides an error message if (1) WiFi is off, and (2) you’re trying to edit a lo-res image, because it wants you to be able to edit hi-res photos for the best results. Very smart!)

I don’t use the cloud for storing photos, and apparently that is the only location where editing is allowed, because this app will NOT allow me to edit pictures stored in my iPad photo album. If this is an oversight on my part, I will emend this review, otherwise I have no use for this app; it should have stated that users can not edit pix that live only on a device; and it was a waste of money.

This app is very good at removing unwanted people, objects, et cetera from photos, but it is not the only app that does that. It’s interface is well-suited to the iPad interface, but that’s not why I love it. It’s because this app has the best line detection I’ve ever seen, beating (handily) even Photoshop for Mac for eliminating unsightly power lines et al from pictures that are otherwise perfect. This is a go-to tool for removals of all sorts, and by far the best I’ve found on iOS.

I do not know what I did before I had this app! It is an absolute favorite. I use it very frequently. I am kinda picky about not having little stray objects, hairs, spots, or wth-is-that’s in my pics. This app is a life-saver!

It has it’s limitations, for instance, the app would edit out a basketball from a grassy green lawn flawlessly ... but a wine glass against paisley wallpaper not so much. I like it, does what it does effortlessly 👍🏻

I’ve been trying to find iOS solutions for most of my photography editing needs. I stopped playing with object removal tools because there would always be traces of the photoshop and it looked noticeable and sloppy in other apps. Even desktop solutions didn’t work for me. When I finally gave this app a try I was absolutely blown away. There must be more going on under the hood like intelligent removal, AI, or powerful algorithms but this is a clean, trace-free tool that’s removed entire crowds from my backgrounds! From professionals to hobbyists, this is highly recommend and worth every penny.

Most apps that claim they can remove unwanted objects from your photos succeed.....sometimes. You get one removal method, and if it does not succeed, too bad. This is the first one I’ve found that give you enough options, that with a little practice, will remove any object without fail. A+++++.

Im a beginner and have bought several apps for photo editing, this by far has been the easiest and most useful of all of them. I wish they were all this easy and straight forward to use.

I use this app almost every day. (I'm retired.) it works so easily and accurately to remove unwanted elements...like text that you don't want on a pretty pic. I use the "fix" and "clone" as a one-stop shop to do exactly what I want. I love this app and I'm so happy the developers have updated for iOS 11. Great creation! Keep up the good work. Update March 2018. I still love this app and use it as my go-to app for editing out elements. Great job, developers!

I’ve only had this app for a couple of hours. I’ve been playing around with it on a bunch of vacation pics from several months ago. OMG I wish I’d had this before I had photo books made. This is amazing!! I’ve removed unwanted strangers from pics as well as road signs, utility poles, & a pickup! I made a big mess of one pic so I made the “edited” version a copy instead of replacing the original, then I went to my pics & deleted the messed up version. So even though I messed it up, no harm, no foul, & I learned something 😊

I’ve used retouch options in other apps & there is always problems with the object removal tool looking real. With retouch the object removal looks real.

I’m so happy that I gave in and bought this app. It’s worth every penny and even more. I have edited many photos since I have bought touch retouch. The app is really amazing and easy to use. The time you would spend in photoshop trying to remove objects and junk from your photos takes only just seconds in this app. I also love the fact you can save your work over the original photo if you choose. This helps save space on my device. The tools in this app are amazing and spot on. I like to use the clone tool when trying to remove objects closer to my subject. The app is fun, easy, and fast to use. I’m truly blown away. I also had some questions before I bought touch retouch app. I emailed the developer and they got back to me as quick as they could to answer my questions. I was 100% satisfied with my response and contact with the developer or their team.

I got this app because the app it replaced, Photo,Eraser, does not work with iOS 11. Photo Eraser served me well for several years but his app is a big jump in accuracy and features.

This app handles scratch removal, object removal, and content aware fill amazingly well. However the latest update seems to have disabled the ability to open in another app.

This is easy to use on iPad, works really well. Good purchase.

I don't usually write reviews but this app is too special not to. Before computers came into existence, I was a commercial photo retoucher. Back then even the simplest "fixes" were laborious. Of course the introduction of Photoshop changed everything. Now with Touch Retouch, once again the art of photo retouching is brought within even closer reach of most people. I've been using this app from its inception, with every update better than the previous one. The developers have done a superb job creating an intuitive interface and toolset. The app performs every task flawlessly. I only wish the useful loupe could be positioned at the right side of the screen to accommodate left-handed users. This truly is a right-handed world, *sigh*.

This is so easy to use and so powerful. It just does a limited set of edits, and does them better than any other editor. It's line removal is breathtaking! My favorite bird photo location has so many power lines and towers, and this app kills them all. I have been able to rescue pix that I thought were not able to be or worth editing. Thanks so much, and please keep it simple into future versions.

I've been using ReTouch for as long as I've owned an iPad...going on 10 years. It's been improved thru the years and so have I. A few tweaks by the developer over the years has made this app indispensable for me. I'm writing this review to address other reviewers frustrations...hoping to clear up a few questions. I have no connection to the app developer...I don't know him (I think it's a 'he') but I think English may be a 2nd language. Which may be why attempts to email him may prove unsuccessful. I write a 'how to' kind of website that has lots of little tips for ios users...it's what I like to do...thus my motivation here. It's called vsatips and I use a free WordPress account, if anyone's interested. After years ago of use, I can now see the brilliance behind this app as well as appreciate the simplicity of using it. But it took me a long time to arrive at this state...hopefully my tips will help someone else get there sooner. There are video tutorials & written guides under 'i' and all around on the 1st screen that the app opens too. Watching and reading those, as well as a little practice should make anyone a pro at using these features. For those with crashing issues I suspect you have older devices and/or have a lot of background tasks running. Try shutting down all background tasks and even rebooting your device to clear all caches...this should stop any crashing. The more photos that you edit using this app, the more demands it places on internal memory it appears. So the same suggestions apply. If you've successfully edited maybe 5 photos then the app may begin crashing. Just do the same things mentioned above, but actually close this app too...it's clears out overloaded memory. For those people wanting to export edited photos at the highest resolution possible, in addition to the questions asked upon opening and saving photos, there's also a switch in settings. It's under 'i' on the opening screen. You can turn this switch on to save things at maximum resolution. You can easily remove standalone objects with ReTouch. But you can also remove objects and distracting elements that aren't stand-alone too...it's just a little trickier. I found the best way to do this is to zoom in and out and try different tools...try clone versus brush versus lasso. It may take a little time to discover the winning combination but the app can remove most anything successfully if users persevere! If all else fails I sometimes use SnapSeeds 'heal' tool to clean use the surrounding area to make it easier for ReTouch to be successful. The app developer has another app called 'Handy' which I recently discovered. It includes some of ReTouches features as well as a huge assortment of additional editing functions. It's perhaps the most powerful image editing tool I've ever run across...and I use a ton of editing apps! Because Handy has so many features there's a much steeper learning curve. I'm still learning to use Handy. After many years of using ReTouch feel I've only recently really mastered it entirely. Both apps provide editing tools that are unavailable anywhere else. There are other apps that provide a cloning tool...the ones I use most are Photogene and Pixelmator. More recently I've begun using Enlight too...which has a patch tool that's similar but different. Some of my favorite features for each include: • Enlight also has some cool tools for changing shape of objects as well as a huge array of frames and border tools. And a great light leak utility! • Photogene has a great border tool as well as one of the better annotation tools for text on photos. I like their unique frames, the clone tool and their 'curves' tool is my favorite. • Pixelmator has the largest array of brushes and overlaying effects via those that I've seen. I also use their light leaks tool a lot as well as their layout functionality, which lets you combine photos for presentation purposes readily. • SnapSeed is my main editing tool. They have a huge array of filters...glamour glow, retrolux & transform which allows changing perspective when it's skewed. SnapSeeds heal tool is great and works a little like ReTouch. But the ReTouch cloning tool works differently and oftentimes better. Especially for large objects. I'm not a photographer thus I don't know all the correct terminology...but trust me when I say this app is amazing and performs it's main corrections in a way that's different from most other apps. For anyone needing the full complement of editing tools, Retouch definitely is one app to include.

You have to play with it for a bit to really get the hang of it but, after that, this app really delivers.

The app has potential but on IPad Pros with iOS 12, crashes repeatedly when accessing photos from library. Unusable.

Been using Retouch for a few months now. It works amazingly well probably 95% of the time. On the first try often. Great on a larger screen iPad where you can enlarge to work with small detail. Highly recommended.

The app seems to be working as advertised but there seems to be a bug on the software that every time I try to access it through the photos extension app it will only load the first photo. When I loaded the second photo it just hangs... and I don’t see the progress bar. It will just stay on that gray screen. Please fix this bug is this app is great.

I read the reviews and they were all five stars. I decided it must be worth the few dollars. And it was. I’m so happy now because just recently I was upset about how some of my favorite photographs from a recent vacation had date stamps on them I couldn’t get rid of... until now. It is incredible how it can get rid of something. Even if you try really hard to look at the exact spot where something was, you can barely tell where it blended the area where said object was. And I’ve only done one picture- it may be 100% you can’t even tell it was ever there in other photos. Thank g** for this app it’s so easy to use- I’m talking press a button, lasso-select or something similar over the object you want to remove, and press go.

This app does what it does best. Clear, easy, excellent! My go-to app to rid my pics of unwanted extras. Get it.
