I’ve been using this app for a long time. It’s easy and the controls are intuitive. It’s a five star app the way it is but they could really knock it out of the park with the ability to pixelate or add noise to your photos.

But don't like the new white dot that appears under the touch. It's a bit annoying. I've had Superimpose 6 years. It's my go to for many things photo editing and photoshopping. Deserves 6 stars! ★★★★★★

This app is so great. It’s both simple and easy to use. I bought it several years ago and still use it to this day for various projects on the go. The UI is seamless and easy to follow along with during the different stages of photo editing. I Highly recommend this app. Easily deserves 6 out of 5 stars.

I've used this app for several years now on both iPhone and iPad and love it. It's intuitive, user friendly, and full-featured - none of the pitfalls of those "in app" cash traps. I wish other developers would take a page from this app developer when constructing their own. I can highly recommend this app. Definitely one of my all time favorites.

I've had superimpose for over 3 years and I have no intention of ever deleting it. With a little practice and dedication you can honestly do pretty much anything on this

It’s been about a week since I bought this app, hasn’t downloaded. The app hasn’t shown that it’s going to download, when I try to download the app it basically says now that I purchased it, it’ll download for free. But it hasn’t.

So last week I got an iTunes gift card and I was so excited to use it to buy this app.I s***** at it so I watched a tutorial video and the person in the video used like 20 layers.Anyway,I was trying to make something like that and I couldn't even make a 3rd later.I can do even more with PicsArt,which is FREE.Do you really expect me to pay 2 bucks so you can tell me to spend 5?I don't usually give bad reviews but I'm very unhappy that I wasted my money.

Honestly I like this app. I’ve used it for about a year and I like how you can do a lot of stuff with your phone. I haven’t downloaded superimpose x but it’s much better. I think this is kind of a rip off because the other one is way better for about the same price. (?? Idk the price of this because I forgot) Overall it’s good and I like it but I also think that the photo quality when you export it should be better.

I love this app for just playing around but I also love it for making art and using that art in my business. It’s the only digital art app that I have used consistently for five years now. It has everything I need.

It’s so much easier to use than photoshop and a very quality app

I’m quite the app-aholic and especially when it comes to photo editing apps and no matter how great and new and shiny the other apps may be, ( I’m looking at you Makaron ) I come back to SUPERIMPOSEX every time. My whole instagram is indebted to this app; you can see for yourself ( at cosmic_pursuit ). Not only can you remove backgrounds from any image but you can customize the tools in which you will mask objects and you can keep a former mask shape to create cut-outs for later use. You can custom color-map images , distort images in countless ways like ripple or glass effects and transform your mask shadow any which way. In addition to my art , I’ve created so many flyers and images for promotional materials for work. It’s complex but designed so that you learn once and keep getting better and better. Any questions for real ask me cuz I’m logging some serious hours.

This app does everything I need it to do. I’ve used it for about 5 years and it’s worth the price. Makes really good cutouts and sometimes I even find it easier and simpler than photoshop. And no i’m not the founders of this app just trying to hype it up, I’m just an OG user of superimpose and it truly does deserves the your money.

I’ve been using “Superimpose”, for years and I can create abstractions of reality in minutes, or finely tune any photo to perfection...also it is a great tool for multiple overlapping of images. Truly Awesome.

I’ve been using this app for around 5 and a half years and it’s easy to use, fun, and pretty advanced. 5 stars all the way. The masking tool is amazing for photoshopping, as well as the wand and smart brush.

So basically i love superimpose and it’s an amazing app but every time i use it, it makes my phone glitch and it’s really annoying

i love the app but there should be a feature where you can put an auto save on. so every five minutes or so, it saves what you are currently working on, because i’ve had a few experiences were i have forgotten to save my current project and start a new one. i’ve had to restart many projects. i’m sure i’m not the only one so i think an update like this would be useful and helpful for everyone.

It won’t work at all! I upload the foreground and then it freezes

It’s very good i do recommend it but there’s just one problem. Sometimes when i try to merge a foreground image with the shadow, it drops the shadow AND the image in a different spot, which completely annoys me and i have no way to undo it cause the undo button won’t let me. I can’t make my edits if my foreground images are gonna be glitched and moved somewhere else. Pls fix this asap.

I don’t k ow if this was a glitch or a limited thing, but I was allowed to layer images more than twice. After about 10 minutes it said I could only do two layers at a time. since I really want to do more than two layers at a time I was wondering if I could have my two dollars back so I can get the superimposeX?

This app is SO useful. I’m an artist, but with this I can really make amazing electronic art especially for my dance Instagram account where I make edits. There’s so many things you can do and so many features. Plus, it’s easy to use!

Paid the money expecting to be able to edit freely and now I discover that I can’t unless I upgrade again. Annoyed - not feeling keen on spending MORE money when I just paid for nothing.

Love the app, I've had it for about 2+ years now, and it's much more advanced than mobile Photoshop. There's definitely a learning curve, albeit once you get the hang of it, the app is very simple. However, once I save an image the quality diminishes and the pixels are very prominent and make ~outline~ work very blurry. Other than that, the app is recommended for ~normal~ photo manipulation. It's a b***** that people who've purchased Superimpose and want layers have to purchase Superimpose X too. Oh well. The app is definitely worth the money.

Very user friendly. Lots of options for ensuring your foreground image is precisely selected/cutout. This has been my favorite app for superimposing images for several years and I still haven’t found anything better. Worth the money!

okay so i’ve has this app for ages and have always loved it but recent the mask brush has been not calibrating to zoom tool. the app has been crashing a lot! love it pls fix bugs thanks

I've had this app for probably a year and a half, two years now. I have people asking me daily if I photoshop (for mac) I tell them no, I used this app. It's literally that perfect! 💪🏽

Can you please give the option to save mask as png WITH the drop shadow for consistency, please? Also, would really love to edit gifs here too with an overlay. ie import a gif as a watermark foreground or vice versa.

It’s a great app! I love putting my friends faces on fortnite characters!! Over all I give it four stars because sometimes when I use the magic lasso the edges turn out like they have mini cuts in them, other than that it’s a great app!

The masking and general editing features are stellar, but adding things like a text box to a photo leave a few minor features to be desired.

This app does a great job with masking photos. Easy to learn, easy to mask accurately, and easy to correct errors. Specifically, I was looking for a quick way to clean up photos taken with my iPhone for use as reference images in ZBrush. This app provided an inexpensive solution that was perfect for my purposes.

This is one of the best editing apps! After a while, you get used to it and it’s not hard. It’s definitely worth your money. Would definitely recommend!

Loved loved loved this app on the iPhone 7. Like other reviews I’ve read, once I upgraded to an iPhone X the magnifier is off and makes the app much harder to use. Any help would be appreciated because I genuinely do love this app and used it often on my 7. Hoping it gets fixed!!

I got this app to make collages and profile pictures, and boy it does amazing! It’s so simple and easy to learn!

I use this app to make niche meme edits and at first, I thought it was pretty difficult to use, and I kept on making so many mistakes on accident, and not knowing how to fix them. Then, on the second day of using the app, it all came to me a lot easier and I was satisfied with how to app worked. I recommend this app for people considering it, since it’s worth the 2 dollars and works well! If at first it’s harder than it seemed, then just try to explore the app for a while and test it out. That’s how I learned the ropes of the app.

I spent 2 dollars on this app to layers pictures to make Instagram posts, and once you do one layer, it says you can’t do anymore without buying another 5 dollar app. BS. It’s a good design but it’s not fair to trick people.

This app is terrible! I keep clicking Save as PNG, but it kicks me out of the app and doesn’t save! Also when I size it it will permanently stay and I can’t change it. So, FIX IT!

I’ve had this app for quite a while and I love it. I can use it without WiFi or data and you around with it. However, just recently I’ve been trying to make something and when I add a overlay (another layer) the app seems to freeze and the overlay doesn’t appear. Please fix this! Either way, I love this app, a bit saddened that this is happening.

I use Superimpose all the time. It’s the app I use most for photo editing. I also use it to decorate my house by editing new furniture into rooms before I put it there. It’s super easy to use, and you can do so much with it.

It makes it so easy to fix a dull sky, put someone in a new background, or make entirely new art from photos. This tool is easy to use and very reliable.

I have used several photo editing apps available on the App Store, and none of them have come close to the editing abilities this has. The masking tool is remarkable. There aren’t many bells and whistles, and that’s a good thing. Just the basics. They have another $4.99 version of the app which I don’t think is as good, but it’s okay.

Great masking and blend tools creates fantastic merges.

Very easy, but complex ways to manipulate layers!

I wanted to put my painting on a wall in a building to see how it would look. I can do that and add a drop shadow and apply a perspective if needed. Great app I didn't get into the masking but it seems to be good.

If you are debating whether to purchase this app or not, I recommend watching some reviews on YouTube, because the app itself doesn’t showcase its FULL capabilities with those photos. Anyways, I gave this app a 5 Star because it is very, very easy to use and get the hang of. You can do a lot of things with this app, it just depends on your creativity. I personally believe this is worth the price. You can do so much for a little price. Overall, this app is worth buying.

I’ve downloaded this app a few years ago and i’m still using it. One thing that i love about it is that after you purchase the app, everything is yours. You don’t have to pay for more filters or more tools. it gives me the unlimited feel of doing anything in the app without limits. Another thing is that i’ve improved,, so much. I was looking for an app that would give me the tools and everything i need for editing and SuperImpose gives me that. I came from making simple edits to make difficult, complicated edits that makes it look easy to do. One thing that makes me like it even more is that it looks SIMPLE. Simple,, as in it looks easy to use. Well, that’s just my opinion. There’s this small glitch or bug which i’m not sure if they’ve fixed this or not but everytime i log in to use it, i use the eraser tool and a message pops up. I press the “do not show again” button but it happens again and again. it just annoys me but it doesn’t effect the love i have for this editing app.

I spent 20 minutes working on an edit, only for the foreground im working on to turn black. This happened several times. Once, when I wanted to save my work before this happened, the app crashed. It glitches too much, making all my time go to waste. I used to love this app but it's c*** right now :( please update this!

Its amazing, but i wish that they would update the android version..... My apple products are really outdated and never work, too bad my best editing app is on them .-. Other then that, its a great app for doing anything in editing!

This app is AMAZING. I’ve used it to photoshop and edit for three years now and I can’t find an alternative to it. I NEVER, ever write reviews but this app is just too good not to review

You can no longer create multiple layers with this app. I bought this app primarily to create collages using multiple images layered on top of a background. Now when you click the create layer button it tells you to buy the new Superimpose X. I don’t think so — who knows how long that will last before you gut the features to push Superimpose Y.

now i don't review apps often but i had to for superimpose out of pure appreciation for this app. i love using superimpose and it is one of the best editing apps i have ever used. i have a stan twitter account and my layout is very important to me and this app helps me crop out my icon exactly right and has my layout looking spectacular. love this app!

I’ve been using this app for 3 years and I’ve been loving it ever since I bought it. The one thing that could be improved is the ability to add multiple layers. Working with only 1 foreground is tedious and difficult when dealing with multiple masks.

This could easily be better than photoshop if only it had layers, I love it so much and it’s really useful for editing collages or channel art. I wish it had layers and an undo button for merging but other than that, best editing app out there for phones!

This app is the most useful app I’ve EVER bought. As a graphic designer that works solely off my phone, I absolutely love it. I use it literally every day. But, I have recently bought an iPhone X and when I go to mask, the magnifier is off from where I’m actually masking so it is very difficult to mask. Can someone PLEASE help me out??

I mainly use this app for making memes and they come out great. It's easy to use and it's high quality stuff. Definitely worth downloading, even if you don't make memes you could do other cool edits and graphic design. I'd rate 6/5 if I could!

It’s an amazing app!! It just takes time to learn how to use it properly and once you get the hang of it, it’s great and your edits look amazing!!

I’ve had this app for about 5 years now and I truthfully love it. It’s one of the best editing apps out there. I think the only issue, and it’s a small one, would be when you merge your photos together the quality goes a tiny bit bad. But other than that I’m super glad to have this app.

This is your go-to app for photo editing, the tools are easy to figure out and if you're struggling to figure out how to use a function the app even has a pretty nifty help page complete with video tutorials. The app is, almost perfect, it has everything you need to edit photos, everything except a way to remove the background from an image and then save it, and a layers. So 9/10 pretty good, just need to slap a remove background function and some layering software and it's probably the #1 photo editing tool on apple (I can't say much about it on androids because I never use my android for photo editing).

As an iPhone User since the first day the original iPhone was released by Apple AND a person who has owned (most of them are now gone) more than 4000 different Apps, I’ve learned a bit about both. 😃 I was searching for Superimpose before it was even released (and no, not this actual App) - I mean an App which could Superimpose images properly. Because almost immediately after purchasing my first iPhone, I knew photography had changed forever and equally (if not more importantly) sharing photos had never been quicker and easier. I’ll be typing for days if I don’t ‘cut to the chase’ so here’s the main points: • I’ve used more Apps than some small towns and I know a winner when I see one. • I’ve used and shared so many Superimpose photos for SO MANY different personal projects and events it’d blow your mind. And believe me, you’ll begin to do the same. • The Developer supports his Apps and believe me, he supports them personally. He also wants you to not only like this App, he wants you to LOVE this App!! So he consistently updates and is always improving his App’s performance. Finally ... I Give This App and Developer My Highest Recommendation!!

Whenever I erase a photo and save it as a png, there’s a white outline around the edge of my photo especially where I need it not to be outlined. I haven’t figured out how to avoid this, but I think it might just be a bug? Idk but please look into this.

You can adjust to a very small brush and a magnified circle pops up so you can know where you are going. You can also zoom into your picture and your brush becomes smaller. You can get a new foreground and background without losing your mask and you can also save your masks. Best app ever!!! I love it

This is a great app! It works fine and easy to use! The only thing tho is I accidentally deleted this app when I was clearing out my phone and now I lost all my masks and now I have to start all over again. Please do something like sign in with your Google account or something so when someone deletes the app they can get it back without have to start over and getting all the masks back again. But this is a great app and I would highly recommend it if you make edits!

I bought superimpose in the early 2010s when bad photoshop projects were trendy. Since then, it has come in handy in so many ways in so many scenarios, and has definitely been one of my most used and most helpful apps on my phone. When I bought it it cost about $1 and I’m not sure how much it costs now, but if it’s mostly cheap it’s easy to learn and use and definitely a worthy investment to make if you’re looking for a way to photoshop easily on your phone.

I used to LOVE editing on this app, i still kind of do until i lost inspiration for editing. Now I’ve recently gotten into it again, but whenever i try to save my photo from super impose. It just crashes every time. I'm unable to buy superimpose X so I relied on this superimpose

Ok so I have a fan account on Instagram and this is the perfect app for editing.

At first when i got this app it was a little hard, but once i got the hang of it everything went smooth. There is only thing that i don’t like; when you do “drop shadow and merge” the photo that you’re trying to merge moves. You need to back out and undo then redo to get it back into the place it was before. But besides that, this app is perfect and very fun and easy to use for what i do; making niche memes and other edits for my instagram accounts :)

I never waste time writing reviews and when I do it's usually because the app is really terrible. Let me tell you about this app..it took me years to find the perfect photo edit app. The ease of use is outstanding. I used to only download it when I needed a quick fanfic photo edit/superimpose and would always forget the name when I need to download it again. I have tried so many different superimpose and edit apps looking for this one and NONE of them come close to this app. No joke. I love this app and refuse to tell most of my fanfic friends about it because my stuff usually turns out better than theirs and I want to keep it that way.(lol) I've gotten a lot of likes for my superimposed fanfic photos. Love this app.

very poorly made app it had so many difficulties and wouldn’t cooperate.

This app is great but I do wish that when the app crashes ( sometimes ) or if you have it closed for 10 minutes... you lose all progress.

I can play and create so many things with this app. After a few practice it became easy to use and manipulate whatever I wanted do and fabricate the most unique pictures. Thanks!

At first it was a little confusing but then I watched a tutorial and then it made a lot more sense. I totally recommend this app

Obviously they made a new app and for us that already purchased this one it’s more than enough but the reason I won’t give this app a 5 is because they stopped caring for this app and they care for the other one instead. PLEASE fix the bug that keeps telling you how to use the eraser. Even after you click “don’t show again” it always does each time!! I’m sick of it!!!

Every time I make am edit, I have to start all over. You need to update this app or something, i have worked so h****** so many edits and too many times have it shut down ‘unexpectedly’. I have to frequently save my work in fear of it randomly shutting down.

Now about the actual apps... I didn't know much when I began. I figured out as much as I could and utilized most aspects needed at the time. Wasn't long until I found the online video tutorials. Everything works perfectly and is simply laid out for anyone who seeks. Basics of function exist and as of today, more tools are being added. I would get in on this now before the deserving increase of price. Best of all, you can do anything freely and privately as you wish!

I absolutely ADORE this app. So many useful tools and a super nice layout! One thing that I wish was added is the ability to add borders, and a shape crop tool. This would make this app the best of the best so you wouldn’t have to save 5000 photos for one edit. Thanks! :)

Every time I get a new iPhone I make sure I always download Superimpose on it. The app is so reliable, I have never experienced any issues with it and works great! Simple, yet so much you can do within the app. I felt the need to write a positive review for it, and I’m not one to write reviews for just any app!

I create dozens of really cool pix in minutes, utilizing custom edit and effect features that expensive photo editing software can do, but without the expensive cost. And the features are easy to use and navigate through too!

Hands down best app I have ever used.

this app is all i need for editing BUT it lacks one thing. the undo button. i accidentally pressed the checkmark on “new background” once all my editing was finished and i was not able to undo it. all that complex editing gone to waste. it took me 5 hours to edit that and it vanished in a second.

I have heard a LOT about this app and how good it is. Unfortunately, in my situation, it bugs out and crashes the app whenever I try to save an image to my photo library. Leaving me unable to save the image. Which is really annoying. I just wish this crash would fix.

This app is not easy to use. I’m usually pretty good at pic apps(I’m a photographer), I figure it out pretty quick..... this one is tough. The “help” videos take you to a complete diff help topic you’re not looking for..... just not user friendly at all. The only good thing about this app that makes me happy is the fact that I didn’t have to pay for this👍🏽

I LOVE ❤️ this app. Allows me to be creative and use my art abilities when I pair it with another app. I can make my pics pretty believable. Takes a short time and some patience to perfect it then the possibilities are endless. 😁👍🏻

This is your go-to app for photo editing, the tools are easy to figure out and if you're struggling to figure out how to use a function the app even has a pretty nifty help page complete with video tutorials. The app is, almost perfect, it has everything you need to edit photos, everything except a way to remove the background from an image that is. So 9/10 pretty good, just need to slap a remove background function and it's probably the #1 photo editing tool on apple (I can't say much about it on androids because I never use my android for photo editing).

I love this app having a lot of fun and educating. myself with photo editing. Easy to use after watching tutorials and videos. just get the app you will be amazed!

this so the best editing i’ve ever used and i don’t use that term lightly! i’ve never used anything quite like superimpose and it has the best (and most) features that are just perfect for photo edits. i’ve been using this app for about a year now and i just am in love with it. i will admit that it is a little hard to use at first but one you get the hang of it (it doesn’t take very long) it’s super fun and easy.

I've had Superimpose for such a long time. I remember bouncing app to app and having to use multiple apps just to get the results I was looking for, but once I got Superimpose, that changed my game with editing. 🤩

This app is amazing! So worth it! Literally the most used paid app on my phone! I love the hair refining tool! Os glad it was added although it could use a but of a touch up since it doesn’t work as good as I know it can! But my one suggestion is maybe somehow making a feature where there can be multiple foreground layers? Right now we can only have one and need to merge to start with another one. But I edit and need to have multiple so I can adjust them, after merging its impossible. Thank you guys so much for your hard work!

I have been using Superimpose for about 6 years now. The app works great for what it’s meant to do, blend and merge pics together. However, it needs to have higher resolution output. Preferably being able to save in .tiff format. Out of all the other blending apps out there, this one is the easiest snd most intuitive to use, but it also saves at the lowest quality of the lot. Huge trade off. Fix this and it’s a 5 star app, easily.

I had the X one it went free & I do not like it, changed where things were & how things were done I will never go back. This one is perfect I have been using it for so long it just natural I know where to go & what I need done gets done fast I love this app I’ll never switch.

I’ve had this app for awhile and I just love it. I can’t find one thing wrong with it and can’t say anything bad about it. So fun to use and so many things I can do with it.

Perfect editing app and might be the only one that actually works! I have used this app for my twitch logo and my friends. I also use this app for making silly edits or just to have fun. Once mastered you can do almost anything.

I honestly love this app for editing photos (since I have a fan acc on insta) it is easy to make edits and very easy to mask/erase!!! I 100% recommend! If you can’t get this one I also recommend the free version!

This looks like a great app. If you can figure out how to use it. Mr. Developer please put out an instructional video that’s slower than the speed of light, and doesn’t include that ridiculously annoying music.

This app is amazing. I’ve been using it for years and haven’t found anything that comes close in terms of features and performance. I recently started using the clothing app Stylebook that lets you upload photos of your wardrobe to create and plan outfits. It allows you to erase pieces, delete the background, etc, but I find that running the photos through this app first lets me do everything in a much neater, cleaner way and the photos end up looking SO much better. I also use this in lieu of photoshop when I want to create something of my own (swapping heads of family members, adding people to pics who weren’t actually there, general low-level mayhem, as you do). Fabulous app! Fun and easy to use.

I have both SuperImpose and the “upgrade” app but I like the original Superimpose better. It’s more intuitive.

However I’ve experienced issues since I have upgraded from iPhone X to iPhone SX Plus. There is a Major Glitch when trying to open 1st Layer! Please Help!!!
