I love using snapseed add part of my workflow with LR on an iPad. But now I can't export from LR to snapseed because the latter crashes immediately. I reinstalled snapseed but it didn't fix the problem. Anyone else have this happen?

We LOVE editing with Snapseed!

This app says you can edit photos and videos, for me it only does photos. It is really disappointing and misleading. I don’t suggest getting this, it isn’t worth your time.

Was stable, now it’s having issues. 🚨 Excellent app 5 stars when it’s stable. 💡

When I found this app, I really enjoyed it. But lately, as in within the last week, maybe from an app update, it is harder to get photos into the app without it crashing/loading properly. Once you download and open in the app it works fine but it should open when requested from GPhotos as it did before. Would be nice to have a visible UNDO option on each portion of editing without having to save it first or close out of the edits you’ve done.

The app is a must have for all digital photographers toolbox. Way beyond what any other app offers. Just get it!!!

Snapseed is my go-to image editor for iPad Pro, and I’ve tried them all. But I can’t open a raw file from my Nikon D7500. Thus the 4 star rating. 5/31/19 UPDATE Finally, after 11 months, an update, but still NO SUPPORT for NEF raw files from Nikon D7500. AND the extension is busted again-Shortcuts crashes the app.

When i edit pic, the pic lose quality!

I’m new to Snapseed and am frustrated by the iPhone version. After editing a photo there is no way to save it on my phone. There is no save option when I go to export. On the iPad version, this isn’t a problem. I can open in Instagram, etc. but cannot export or save. I’m using iPhone X and the current version of snapseed 2.18.

My favorite photo editing app! Just wish it was designed to better accommodate my iPhone X.

App Always hang when try open raw file !

My go to and love the RAW developer. The crashing just started for me yesterday. Otherwise my main editing phone app.

Worst app ever edited all my photos and saved but nothing saved

Latest update broke a couple of the text overlays. The formatting shrinks the text and doesn’t align it properly on the circular style type.

This app is a great app. It’s make satisfied when used Snapseed . I like this software among than other photo editor software. I want this app to better than now in the next update. If I advise , snapseed need 'photo drawing editor box that includes some amazing, wet colour . Thank for your creating 🙂

I have loved this app so far and it was always 5 stars. However, since the most recent update it has started crashing every time I add text to a photo. The only way to get the app to open again is to uninstall and reinstall. If this gets fixed it will be 5 stars again

You guys messed up the text on this latest update. Bring back the way it was!!!

In the past I’ve used VSCO for edits. I love this app because it’s free and has so much to offer. It’s great for editing. I have come across an app like this that is free thank you so much for this app. I will definitely be recommending this app to many others.

The only thing this app lacked was iPhone X support...until now! Seriously, don’t waste your time or money on any other photo editor you won’t find any more complete than this with an intuitive UI to boot! Keep killin it Snapseed team!

I have LOVED this app since I bought it. But it has recently been crashing the instant I try to open it. I use this app heavily with work so it’s a big problem. Had no issue paying the price for it, but right now I’m just so frustrated with the constant crashing.

I use this app EVERYDAY! I love it, but over the last few days I have noticed that all of my edited photos have reverted back to the originals. I don’t understand! I have spent hours upon hours editing photos, and now all that work is just gone. 🤬🤬🤬

You have to play with it to get to know what each does but writing the text is a problem you don’t show a key board to write...

With the most recent update the text size in some of the styles is too small and can’t be adjusted. 😢

Had no problems with previous version. Now the program either crashes or hangs forever when trying to save edited TIFF and RAW files - never had any problems working with these before.

This is one of my top three photo editing apps. The new improved photo picker functionality is very handy, as I often edit multiple photos in a session. Thanks! There are many highly useful features in this masterpiece including: HDR enhancement, healing, access to map location, Tune Image, update existing photos (without needed to make a copy), etc. It's hard to believe this is a free app, with no ads, or other junk. I'd gladly pay for Snapseed if it ever became necessary. Highly recommended.

Just did the update for iPhone x and now it won't open on my ip6 running 10.3 version - please fix as this is my go to editor!!!

Being and iPhone X user, I always liked this app. But the lack of X display support held it back. But now that it FINALLY gained it over 6 months too late, now I love it.

Amazing app, so far the best one to edit any picture. I would love to use it in my computer though, it would help us a lot.

So I heard about this app on a YouTube channel that I watch. Was kind of skeptical at first cause there’s so many options but one I got the hang of it I instantly fell in love. Such a great editing app. So many things you can do to fix your pictures. Everyone should really give it a try.

Please update for the iPhone X. This is my only application still not updated for the X. I expect better from Google!

I have been using this app for quite sometime now and I love it! However, after the major update at the beginning of the year it has become unreliable. The recent update seems to have solved the crashing problem, but now there is an incredible lag, which makes editing obnoxiously time consuming. The new features are great, but please fix the lag! What feature I would love to see: I adore the presets, but I would love them more if there were two or three customizable presets that we could save our own preferences to. Also, it would be amazing if I could not only work with larger file sizes, but also maintain them. It would make all the difference in not just displaying my edits in an electronic format, but a printed format as well. I wish I could make larger prints, but the file size is too degraded after my edits have been completed.

Not every app will meet your quality it’s not perfect for free

I had been using Snapseed as my go to app for all my photo editing for almost 2 years now. I must have 8 or 9 photo editing apps but once I discovered Snapseed, I stuck with that. But now I am trying to figure out what to do. I spent about 2 hours editing a bunch of photos from my Yosemite trip, went over them one last time before bed, woke up and the edits had all disappeared! I did a google search to find out what had happened, explored the app extensively, deleted and reloaded the app and finally did all the edits again. Yup, they all disappeared and I have now wasted far too much time and am losing heart. I guess it is time to find another app unless someone has a suggestion of what to do! So bummed!

This is probably a wonderful photo editing app, but there’s no option to prevent data collection by Google even when pictures aren’t saved to a Google property. It says it’s only for usage statistics and app improvement but I can’t trust them on that.

Used to be my favorite app and now I can’t even get it to open any photos. I have the newest iPhone and am completely updated. Totally disappointing.

This used to be my go to editing app. However it’s been 7 months since the iPhone X came out and still no update for it. I have to assume this has been abandoned and I’ve now switched to another app.

Wish they were adjustable, but mostly other than that it works for me

Update: Snapseed has become my most used photo editing app. Love the interface and the subtle but powerful tools. What this app does I used to have separate apps for. Once you play around and get the hang of it, it will (probably) become the only app of this kind you will need. Recommended. Older: After using it more, I like this app more and more. And I'm pretty hesitant about free apps. It is full of features though, and doesn't bother you with ads or filter packs. It's better than many other photo editing apps I have used.

I’ve contacted Apple and they couldn’t help me. I’ve been using snapseed for almost a year to edit photos I take daily. I save my edited version over the original to save space on my phone. Over the past 2 days (since the iPhone iOS update) random photos I’ve edited will revert to their original version on their own. They’ll save for a period of say 12 hours and then I’ll go into my photos library to use that photo and all the edits are gone. This only happens to SOME photos I’ve edited. Not all. Is there anything you can do to fix the issue? Otherwise, I LOVE snapseed. But I spend a large amount of time getting my photos perfect and can’t afford to waste my time editing everything over and over.

This app is very good. Amazing. But now anytime I use the “Heal” tool, after I save and modify the image... the healing work gets all distorted and looks completely different. Please fix this. I love this app, and I don’t want to find a different one.

When using the Exposure tool for an extended period of time, the tool eventually just stops working and I’m left with the little bit of exposure work that took place. I can’t pick up where I left off, otherwise I will have double exposure edited areas. Incredibly frustrating and annoying! Wastes hours of time!

This app is amazing for editing but this is the second time the app has made me have to delete it and re-download it.

I have used this App successfully for years. I use it regularly to edit my work for magazines and travel. I gave it five stars for the ease of use and reliability. Today I dropped it four stars because the app will not allow me to save my work, to my photo site. I have not seen Snapseed crash before. I hope an update comes out soon to fix it.

You guys should add hue in selective so I can change the sky color.

Please fix this already. I can’t edit raw images more than half of the time, so the feature may as well not be there! When it comes to regular photos, half the time the presets don’t load, and then it crashes. Since the update 6 months ago. Fix fix fix!

Dnt like the new UI but still amazing and Best easy app for photos ever but it needs 1)highlight&shadow color split toning options 2)HSL (hue,saturation,luminous) option for ppl who like to desaturated and change colors with ease 3)a clone stamp tool add to healing options (while using it have 2 buttons different colors for the copy and paste it while it doesn't move) I'm pretty sure a lot of people would love those types of tools added.

Hey my name is Austin and I’m a tech reviewer on YouTube. I use Snapseed religiously for editing photos for how versatile and easy to use it is. But at this point in time most apps are optimized for the iPhone X’s 18:9 display. This really bothers me as a producer because I cannot take full advantage of day photo space, zooming in, cropping, etc. is not as smooth and spacious as it could be, especially with the iPhone X’s new OLED display. Great app but update for iPhone X

i got this app because i was looking at pictures of my girlfriend and she’s very insecure about her f***** acne and scars... so, i looked into a simple photoshop esk app for covering this up. this app was trending so i tried it out. it was very smooth and between a simple filter and some smoothing out with their wand, it was amazing. zoom in and you can work with every little (i know this sounds gross but it’s real life) zit, pimple, pore and scar and cover it up how you want to. between this amazing and handy trick the filters are great, you can crop, edit, add text, change brightness, sharpness, saturation etc. it’s truly and amazing app. plus... ITS FREE! download it and see if you like it!

This app is nearly everything you could want for photo editing and MORE with a cherry on top being that it’s F R E E!!

This wonderful app with tons of useful tools truly should have deserved a solid 5-star, but considering the fact that the iPhone X has been out for such a long time and this app still doesn’t support it, I deducted a star. The UI is really clean and elegant and you’ll want it to take up the whole screen beautifully, so it’s a shame that it doesn’t.

Hello, so now for the last 6 months I have to reinstall the app after about 1 to 3 photo edits. What happens after applying all my edits I go to export photo from the three options. Doesn’t matter what option I pick it will crash. After crash it does safe the photo but if I try to go back into app it just opens and then closes out. At this time now not being able to use the app at all. So then I have to delete the app and reinstall to do more editing but the same process of 1 to 3 photos then it crashes and having to delete then reinstall again. Can you guys please fix his I love this app but have installed it now a zillion times to keep using it and it’s getting old that it keeps crashing. It never used to do this. Could you guys please help? Hopefully to read this since the help app side won’t let me write a note like this there. Thanks, Franklin. W

When it works, Snapseed is easily the best photo editor around, especially for being free, but about 70% of the time for the last few months, it hangs up on a load screen when I open it, and I can’t actually use it. I’m not gonna lie—I’m really sick of that.

The new upgrade is awful. I'm a professional photographer and used to love this for quick photo tweaks. What on earth did your team do. The white background is impossible to see icons against with super small type & the old icons used to be thumbnails of the application you were selecting - now they are all the same graphic scribbles which all look the same! Who designed this and thought it was better?!?! I'm sick! The HDR is weaker and not the same and the white is terrible to edit photos against. Horrible upgrade- DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding app for average user. On top of it it’s free so not sure how this is better rated than photoshop express. Kudos for google for creating a good program for us users that don’t necessarily want to spend 20$ for a professional program for every day use. I found myself more than happy with this app.

Snapseed is the best photo editing app for both Android and iOS

This is by far my most used app. Every photo I edit on my phone and iPad goes through this app. So far, I’ve applauded every update as making a nearly perfect app even closer to perfect as one could hope for. I don’t want that to change, but if the crashing doesn’t get fixed, that changes everything. This is the first time I’ve ever had to deal with this issue in Snapseed. Honestly, I don’t think this app even crashed once until the last major update (custom saved edits), which I use often. I realize that the broad abilities of this app make it, by necessity, resource intensive. I just hope that the crashes don’t become the norm because I’d rather NOT have all the cool new features if I can’t count on the app to be reliable and consistent. I just wasted another 30 minutes of my life because Snapseed crashed again. I don’t want to start having to question this app’s reliability, but trusting in this app not to crash in the middle of a project is becoming more difficult do. Google’s apparent interest overall in customer feedback has been spotty at best in the past, but I REALLY hope that the powers that be will take the time to address this potential deal-breaker of an issue. I would hate for these crashes to outweigh this awesome app’s usefulness! Please fix this! My iOS is current and I’m on the iPad Pro and iPhone X (both devices have suffered the same issue several times recently).

I don’t know what’s happening with this app but ever since the new updates, the app hasn’t been working. Every time I try to open a photo, it doesn’t do anything except go in circles like it’s trying to load but it never loads. This used to be one of my favorite photo editing apps but until it starts working like it used to, I’m giving it a one star in the hopes that the developers will fix this problem. I own an iPhone 8 Plus.

I used to use this app for editing ALL of my pictures & I loved it . But recently it has been freezing , not only the app but freezing up my phone. Please do something about this !

The app crashes too often for and in the worst times possible. I was editing a photo and was around half way done with it when the app suddenly stopped and crashed after I tapped the check mark in selection. Everything I edited was deleted and I was forced to start over. This has occurred way too often and needs to be fixed as soon as possible. I’m sick of having to start over on photos when I’ve gotten so far into them, and it’s difficult to repeat what I’ve already accomplished.

It has everything I want with some issues. The menu isn’t organized well (I suggest to categorize the tools)and undo small changes isn’t as easy as it should be.

This app was really good at one point. Now every time I try and edit a photo the app freezes up my whole phone. Have tried everything to get it to stop. The only solution seems to be just not using it. 😨

This is my go-to editing app and when it cooperates, everything is goes smoothly. Ever since I got the iPhone XS Max the app will freeze whenever I try to edit and it becomes very frustrating. I hope they fix it soon because it really is a good photo editor.

I love using this app however, there is a current issue where it reset the date and the Geo location on the photo to December 31, 2000 and none. And there’s no setting where I can fix it in my Photos app

This is an incredible app. You can do so much with your photos including fixing flaws and creating different effects. I absolutely love it!

Now that I upgraded to an Iphone XsMax, every time I try to edit a photo, the app locks up and won’t work. Unacceptable.

This app has everything I could want or need to edit my photos. My question is, why didn’t I download it sooner?

I use this app every day for photo editing at work. Often I’ll opt to use it over Lightroom because the selective and brush features offer easy-to-use control. However, since I’ve switched to the iPhone XS Max, the app is constantly glitching and crashing, even when no other apps are running in the background. Really disappointing, hoping it gets an update soon.

App keeps freezing and I can’t use my phone

12/1/18 I still love Snapseed but I would like there to be an option to choose a dark grey UI/background (or whatever it's called). I subscribe to a YouTuber who posts Snapseed turorials (excellent, btw) and his Snapseed UI is dark grey. He told me there is an option to do so under settings, but it's not available in my version, which is the latest. So, again, Snapseed is a 5 star app, in fact, it deserving more than 5 stars, but I'm sticking with my 4 star rating for this and my previous comment. ••• Snapseed has been my first choice to edit my iPhone photos for a few years, especially since 2.0 was released. I'm not keen on today's update, but I suppose it will grow on me. Snapseed is a 5 star app but I'm giving this update 4 stars because Google still hasn't added Noise Reduction 😄

Snapseed used to be flawless and offered great editing options but lately — within the last couple months — it consistently freezes or crashes. It often freezes up my [brand new] iPhone XS Max for 5-10 seconds until I can close the app. Even after that it remains unresponsive.

For some reason they just stopped updating the app and now it’s awful, basically unusable. I’m really upset cause it was my go to photo editing app, WAY better than the native iPhone app.

I have 300 apps on my iPhone. This is the only one that is unresponsive upon launch and almost unusably slow.

Hi, I've been using this app for about five years, but it's my must have app now. It needs a big update to keep up with other apps. One of most features That might be useful is 'presets'. people could create a stunning look then upload it as a preset for others. Or at least save the presets to apply later. Thanks alot.

I love working with this tool and the price is more than fair for what it has to offer. I can freshen up sharpen enhance, slightly alter photos. Many effects offered for use with some nice controls to help me find the effect I’m looking for or trying to achieve. The only thing I can ask of the developers is if it’s possible to have a black, or dark, background on the apps’ desktop while editing? Visually it’s easier on the eye while editing. Great app!! I love working with it. 4*1/2 stars!

Image library goes blank when I try to load a photo from from device. Typical google project which they neglect after sometime !

Can you please support the developer tool for the Nikon d850 raw files???

Love this program. I have PS and LR on my iPad and iPhone. But this is program is easier and more intuitive than either of those. It’s now my goto exposure adjustment. But.. I wish they would expand the brush capabilities. I wish I could selectively apply every effect with the brush tool. I wish I could apply color, paint and draw with the brush tool. I wish the brush too could be sized incrementally. And exposure should be in increments of .1 and we need a knife tool for mask selection for those of us with apple-pens. Hey Google offer all that and I’d be ready to PAAAAYYY.

It worked great. I love using the app, but for some reason it started crashing. I would edit a picture, and after I was done I would click on “export” to save. As soon as I would do that, the app would just close and I lose all my work :( I’ve tried editing the same pic 3 times and it would do it every time. Shame, because I like the app.

Great userface and editing options, love using this app EXCEPT what keeps me away most times is the inability to edit multiple photos at a time (comes in handy when making gifs) and being able to choose form albums (prevents having to scroll through thousands of photos) With these updates, I’ll change to 5 stars!

This is a pretty good App; however, for some reason, it has not yet been added to the iPhone “share” option. This is a problem, because one cannot take a photo and immediately “share” it for editing to the snapseed app. Please fix this now! ... Otherwise, it is a wonderful app. ❤️

This App is amazing. I work with it everyday for work. It’s truly the best app in the AppStore. I bought my New IPhoneX Max and now when I am using the lbrush and I zoom it in to the maximum to brush the small parts, it kicks me out of the app. It’s really frustrating because I lose all the edits of that photo. I deleted it and reinstalled it but it didn’t change. The only thing that has changed it’s my phone and I think the app doesn’t support the new IPhone.

I love this app, its easy to use and you don't have to buy anything, because most things come included. BUT recently its been crashing, I've tried erasing it and downloading again but it just happens again. I would give it 5 stars but it just doesn't work for me anymore :/

I have loved this wonderful app for over a year now but as of late I can’t even launch one tool without the app crashing, and freezing my phone.

The first time I used this app, it became my go-to photo editor. You can dive very deep with this one, and it will give you professional quality photos. My one issue with it is that since it is a Google app, why doesn’t it synch with Google photos? I have to download photos from google photos and open them in Snapseed, which seems unnecessary.

App store says open but I have nothing but an error app hanging in my iphone. No App in my home screen but only on settings I can find this app. I cannot even delete it or re-download it because it doesn’t go when I click on it in the app store.

I Really love this app, but nowadays it has some bugs that when I open my picture it closed and never working again ,what should I do.. please solve it🙁

This has been my number one go to for over 5 years! The updates since 5 years ago are great. If you really know how to maneuver the app and follow the instructions but also play around with different lighting you can make everyday pictures look like works of art! Before I post any photo I put it through Snapseed! Snapseed and facetune are my go to’s! I’ve downloaded a bunch of others but always end up deleting because you can do as much as you can do with Snapseed!

I love editing all my pictures with this app, but recently all my edited pictures on my phone reverted to original un-edited versions and I lost TONS of hours of editing! Now every time I edit a picture, it reverts after about 1 day..FIX THIS!!!!

The app keeps crashing!!! Every time i use brush to burn the picture it crashes and i have to start all over! VERY annoying!. Please fix as soon as possible 😭

I find this app to be really useful but lately it’s been crashing constantly! To edit 10 photos it’ll crash 30-40 times. If this doesn’t change soon I’m going to have to use a different app

I have enjoyed using the Snapseed app for years. Never had an issue with it. I recently started a food blog, and even though I am taking my photos with a Nikon DSLR now, I am still using Snapseed to edit them. No Lightroom necessary! (And I’ve used Lightroom in the past, just to clarify). It’s a very well-developed software. Like, I would totally pay money for it if I had to.

I've deleted and re-installed this app so many times since it was first created but wow I am seriously impressed with the developers because it's getting so much better! However as with anything there is ALWAYS room for improvement and I would suggest a HSL feature in the selection category to target specific colors with brush/eraser, a toning tool for highlight/shadows and exposure and the option of layers

Every time that I’m using the brush tool and try to push the “before/after button” it gets crazy and the app freezes and also my phone takes time to go back to the home screen. iPhone XS Max

I was so excited to use this app because the features just seemed to good to be true.. because they are.. I really hope they can fix all the glitches because it would be a really cool app.

I have the iPhone X s max ,the app opens fast however, when I choose the tools module the app will not open all the subcategories . My note 8 has no problems but I would like to use this new iPhone as my daily driver, please update.

Never really had problems but it seems the app needs an update as HDR effects cause intermittent freezing now.

I love this app! So much! But since i upgraded to my new iphone xs max i cant seem to flip through the edits easily! The button that shows you before and after edit to compare while you are uaing the tool seems so hard to find and click i would click like 30 million times to make it work and i cant get it to click on the button correctly! I love this app! Easy to use and can quickly save your edited photo straight to your phone. Best photo editor available at the apple store and it’s free! ALTHOUGH I see peoples reviews saying that once they updated their phones the app is crashing. I have not updated my phone yet😬 so hopefully Snapseed can fix it soon!

Snapseed has consistently remained my favorite editing app. It’s free but in my opinion it tops the most expensive editing apps. I still get amazing results unmatched by any other app. I wish for this app to get better and better LoVe it

As a semi-professional photographer, I absolutely trust this app above numerous other mobile apps. I’ve learned to apply more than 8 adjustment layers standard to every photo. And having shot almost a year, with over 20 high quality shoots, two major issues prevail. One, is the inability to edit layers above the second or third without seeing a major drop in quality. And the spot treatment or healing limits your zoom capabilities to where fine details are impossible to edit. And when a photo has over 50-100 spot treatments, the export phase seems to miss numerous spots when they’re compared with the original photo. I work in RAW, so I understand these are large files, but if the developers could fix these critical issues, the app would be 100% perfect in my opinion.

I loved Snapseed, have used it for many years, taught it at our library and then suddenly it stopped working. I reset my iPhone Xs Max and deleted and reloaded the app but nothing works. It freezes soon after loading a photo. Highly disappointed with this now useless app.

The app is amazing and has a lot of great features, including editing RAW files. But I have a complaint about that and is the outdated camera support. Newer cameras do not have support, only cameras older than 2 years are supported! Please update the support! I would love to edit directly in the app but I can’t since I have a Nikon D3500, released a few months ago.

Man, it use to run soooo smoothly. I have the iPhone XS Max and the app runs super slow, freezes with every edit and even crashes upon trying to zoom in & out. It takes FOREVER just to edit one pic. This was one of my go to apps for my pics and now I’m looking for a replacement SMH!

It keeps on freezing whenever I’m doing the edits. I will have to quit the app and relaunch it again. But it will freeze again.

Loved it but now it crashes or freezes every single time. And no way to contact google. They have already moved on and forgotten this app apparently.

Although I like this app, whenever I use the brush tool on my iPhone XR and zoom all the way in and start using the brush, it instantly crashes, and turns off my phone. Never had that problem with my old iPhone 7.

This was definitely one of my most used apps but I’ve run into this issue where if i save or export my image and open it on Instagram or another editing app, it undo’s all the edits I did in Snapseed

I love this app. The only thing it’s missing is in the tools for portrait it should have a teeth whitening option as well.

Please update! This is/was one of my most used apps.

This was a great app for many years but unfortunately Google bought it out for the technology and doesn't update app regularly. Now it's virtually unusable on the newest iPhones, with most recent iOS updates. It may be yet another of many examples where Google buys a great company, only to let the product die :( If you're not going to keep it alive, why not let someone else keep it going. I would be happy to pay for a regularly updated app. Please at least fix the problems. Google as a company is not looking good to consumers when they neglect their users.

Not working on my iphone xs max via ios 12.1. I rely on this wonderful app. Please don’t make me return to lightroom. Happy to pay for the update if necessary.

Got a new iPhone XR and was so exited to finally edit photos that look good, but so far it’s crashing EVERY time I use the brush tool.(specifically when I zoom and try to use it) Which is annoying because I use it al lot to craft the effects I want. It worked fine in my 5S. Please fix ASAP and I’ll change to a great review. Thank you!

20-Nov-2018— OK, so lately Snapseed has been seizing up and locking up my phone and crashing. I have an iPhone max S plus running on the latest iOS. I spent the time typing out a long and lengthy explanation of what's been happening, and then wild going to send it to Snapseed, The app crashed again! THREE TIMES, hence I’m trying it here! Please understand, Snapseed is my go-to app, I use it as my jump off point for almost every image when editing photos on my iPhone. Please fix it.. PS. Won’t even let me post a review! I’ve deleted and reinstalled. Same issues. Ugh!!!!!

This was a great app, fantastic really. But all of a sudden, as of a few days ago, it has stopped responding. Whenever you try to use any of the Tools, it lags and freezes, and sometimes crashes as well. So now it’s essentially useless.

I started using this app a long time ago. Since then I’ve used many different photo editors. In the end I keep coming back to Snapseed. I am concerned with the stability of the app and the lack of regular updates.

This is my go to app for editing all my photos. I love the app but ever since I updated my iPhone XS to the 12.1 this app keeps crashing. I have deleted it and restarted several times as the Apple technician suggested but it still continues yes to crash. Can you give me some help in resolving this problem?

I downloaded this app for the filters but suddenly overnight it s***** all my data for my month cycle. Over 6GB of data in one day. Don’t bother downloading this and if you do check the background data on this one.

I’m so frustrated with the app on iPhone X keeps crashing and freezing. I’ve loved it when I have my 7 but this is just ridiculous. So bummed.

I am not sure if it’s Snapseed fault but it just became useless on my iPhone 8. Every time I want to open “ All Photos “ on my device the app crashes. I used to love Snapseed. Post Scriptum. I had to review my previous review. Apparently it might be the latest IOS updates causing the Snapseed crash. I had the same problem when I tried to select photos to edit from my phone library with other apps too. A quick fix is to Copy your photo from your library and Paste it on Snapseed for editing. Snapseed is so powerful that’s worth the extra steps you might have to do in order to use this app.

I am a very long time user of the app - purchased it when it was not free. A very satisfied user until now. App is freezing and crashing often on iPhone Xs Max / iOS 12.1. When opening an image and choosing a Tool, the tool name appears on screen but does not go away, and the app freezes then crashes. This app is literally garbage right now.

Was my favorite photo app by far, now it literally does not work. It opens up, then immediately crashes anytime I pull up a photo to edit (the photo flashes up for less than a second, then the app shuts down and I am returned to the home screen).

This is my favorite photo editing app, but it’s been crashing constantly on my new XS Max. No matter what I do (close the app, restart the phone, reinstall the app) it freezes the entire phone & crashes. I bought this phone to edit photos more easily, but sadly I can’t do it with Snapseed anymore. Really hope they release an update ASAP.

I love Snapseed I use it alll the timmeee! But I have some suggested ideas to make the app even more awesome!! Splash feature which you can only make an image pop. More retouch stuff for portraits Find specific color in the image and be able to intensify it like light room. Manual blur Please add more features! I love it so much!

I use this application almost every day, but unfortunately with my new iPhone Xs Max the application always stops, please try to find some solutions quickly!

Please Please Please let me use Snapseed to edit my Sony Point & Shoot pics that are on my iPhoneX. Something happened! When I save them ... I get some mysterious series of horizontal lines. There are about twenty. Sooooooo sad. I detest Photoshop/Lightroom and want to rely on your app. :(

I have the iPhone XS Max. and when I want to edit a photo the application freezes and I can not do anything. please fix that!

This is the best photo editor hands down on iOS. My only complaint is that sometimes when you use “Open in Snapseed” in Google Photos, Snapseed doesn’t open the photo. Usually this happens if another photo is already open. This has been happening for a while now and is a bit annoying when needing to edit lots of photos from Google Photos. Love you anyway!

When i go into portrait mode, my snapseed stop responding on my iphone xs max.

I used to love this app. It was fast to use because of its simple UI, but now it’s complex and difficult to understand. I just spent 5 minutes unsuccessfully looking for a red-eye removal tool but gave up. Please move back to a simplified UI, and if you do, you may as well change the name too. “Snapseed” doesn’t evoke thoughts of a photo editing tool. At all.

Loading just spins and spins! What gives? It never did this before.....

I’m not saying saying Snapseed should have a dark mode because of the iPhone X, but because it’s a photo editor and it makes it easier to edit fine details.

I love what this app can do but I have not been able to get it to save the image properly. I followed the directions for saving on IOS and yet my exported image looks completely different from the image in the app. I have tried to contact support but have not gotten any help. :(

This app has everything that I need to edit my photos, but when will it be updated to fit on screen with the iPhone X? The work space is very small on the X’s screen.

First off I'd like to say this is a great app and has a LOT to offer. It's been my go to mobile editing app for 2 years. Now bad things: exporting sometimes doesn't get all of your edits. It will look fine in the app but as soon as it's saved/exported it can miss some. I noticed this when using the healing tool. Also please add iPhone X support and update for Christ's sake. The iPhone X has been out since November, update your app Google. Thank you.

I want the ability to select an individual photo from the album and share it to snapseed for editing. I dont want to do it in reverse - open that particular photo from the snapseed app. I ll be scrolling hundreds of thumbnail to select the photo I want to edit which I took 15 days back. All I need is the ability to add snapseed in the activities. This functionality is available in android for really long time. I think Google purposefully cripples this ability. Shame on you google.

bad resolution for iPhone X

Initially I like this. But there is no delete photo button, and when I’ve tried to import photographs from my email into Snapseed sometimes they come through and sometimes they are lost. The inability to organize the photos into albums or collections is a real drawback. My Snapseed app currently has all the photos I’ve ever taken in it and I just can’t go through and hunt things up if I couldEdit the size of what was in the Snapseed it would be much more useful

I love it! So far this is the best photo editor I’ve ever had! It has so much to offer. Very flexible menu and tools.

I started using this app to edit my photos and make them look prettier before I put them into an album, also to just make pictures look more alive. But one thing I’d like to be added to it is that you can add an image of your own onto that photo you’re editing so that you can use it to overlap onto the picture

A good friend introduced me to this app about a year ago and to say the least, it is my absolute go to. Favorite features are the HDR, retro and vintage filters. I love that you can pin point edits to correct lighting, etc. I really enjoy the fact that you can save 'looks' and also edit the 'looks' on new photos. Pretty amazing. I wish Snapseed would create a video editor!

Looks like this is happening across the board with other iPhone users unfortunately - hands down used to be the best photo editing app. Now it’s pretty much useless. Hopefully Google fixes the issue.
