i dont care which side u are on. Many Fox shows constantly remind the viewer they are “opinion” shows. Yet they are more diligent to check their facts than this “newsroom”. sadly young people probably read the misleading headlines here and come to wrong conclusions. Well at least now I know why the country is so hopelessly divided. Nice work if you are trying to foment separation and hatred. I would go anywhere else for news. Sometimes you need to read the same story at different sources and then apply your own critical and logical thinking. Please be aware of the bias when you read news. Again that goes for either side. We need educated critically thinking voters. Considering we print ballots in so many languages. I wonder if they cant even read “vote here” how could they possibly understand the issues ? Anyway for those who can read english please apply critical thinking to what you read.

The videos are part of the dumbing down of the masses. Why can’t you include both a written article which many prefer as well as a video for those who don’t enjoy reading. Also so many random glitches. The story I click on is not the story that opens. The video story rolls to the next story etc. not a good format.

Liked old format better. Now all is lumped into one page! Can't just choose to read Sports without going down whole page!

Not something I'll enjoy but it's entertaining

Yahoo has always been incompetent, but the new app is so bad it is unusable. They have so little respect for their users that they decided to build a picture book news app for 5 year olds. I don't know how they even exist, they are so bad. On top of that, there articles are so poorly researched and written they have set the bar so high for fake news that nobody will ever take the "fake news king" title from them. The only reason to download this app is to get some comic relief on how bad and incompetent yahoo is.

I came here to get robux from the app Roblox. I have no idea if this will work. My brother wants a poke shirt. If you buy it you will have a lot of robux

The new format is PowerPoint news. On many stories, just below the PowerPoint is a few lines that acts as a brief summary. Dump this terrible format and give us the old style articles that users can read with detailed information. The new format is the worst.

I used to love this app. All you guys needed to do was port over whatever you had running on the 6-8 over to the X and I would have been satisfied. Instead, I get headlines where I can’t read the full story and an overall flaky experience. What happened?!?! You guys are too big of a company to have your app fall behind like this. I’d expect this from Bahoo not Yahoo. Need some help, let me know, because this is affecting my downtime reading!

I am about to delete this app. I used to use it as one of my go to apps for news. Now - I hate it. I want to READ the stories. All the major stories are now videos. I don’t want to get my buds out every time I open this app. Getting rid of this app.

The new format is AWFUL. First, I want to read the news, not watch "videos". Second, the music starts playing loudly at awkward times. Deleting the App as soon as I finish writing this!

The app has improved with comments not being visible unless you want to see. Now there needs to be more moderation with the sections. Im tired of seeing politics news in the science section. Should be hard to integrate a self sorting system to look for keywords related the articles. Do this and id be fully satisfied with app

The new updated app is completely worthless. I want to read the news. Real articles. Not sound bites and slideshows. Also, the left leaning bias of Yahoo is glaringly obvious and overbearing. As a modestly liberal person myself, I find this so-called journalism abhorrent. Yahoo is not unique in this respect. It's a shame I have to turn to foreign media outlets to find out what's actually going on in my country. Peace out.

The new format leaves a lot to be desired. Instead of loading text you can read it gives you PowerPoint presentations. The app also polls news articles from sources that seem to have no editor on staff.

Don’t waste your time updating or downloading. The new interface is terrible and not user friendly. Already deleted app because of it.

Now you’ve turned reading the news into a ridiculous PowerPoint presentation with a sound track? It’s F—Ingo awful! This makes me despair for society.

The latest update has left the app with glitches that make it too frustrating to use along with terrible features. The slideshow picture book for headline stories is terrible and doesn’t give much information. This is a news app, let me read the news. I don’t need a slideshow to look at pictures. On top of that the app constantly opens different articles than what I clicked on. For instance, if I click to read the fourth article down then most of the time it will send me to a new article because the app hasn’t updated the article order yet. The same thing happens if I open an article and close the app to finish reading later. The next time I open the app it was automatically send me to a different article that has taken the place of the old article. Just a bad update.

12/5/17 Update: Just when I thought this app couldn’t get any worse it did. App version 9.0.1 now includes maximum volume drama music playing with the powerpoint “news video”. The video auto play setting seems to be non functional at controlling the audio/video. These new issues combined with the ones below have made reading the news a very unpleasant experience. I have deleted this app and found a different one to use. 11/27/17: Recently downloaded app version 9.0.0 that just came out. It is horrendous. The developers have ruined the app. My issues are: • Dislike the “video news” format that’s now used. There is no more article to read and almost no news information given on a particular topic. You basically get 4-5 photo slides like a powerpoint presentation with a sentence per slide. After the last slide the app switches to the next story, which you may not even be interested in. • When you comment on an article the message history shows it being posted against some other unrelated article. • The comment thumbs up / down buttons malfunction frequently. • The interface is jerky and jumpy. • Most articles have a definite liberal / left wing bias to them. • Many articles are National Enquirer tabloid material. This new app version is a definite downgrade and I will be getting my news elsewhere.

Yahoo needs to correct the glitch that makes only half the article show up. This occurs at least twice a day. Also, Yahoo doesn’t keep up, and the same article can show up 2-3 days in a row.

The app often opens an entirely unrelated story when when I’m trying to follow a different headline. Then when I go back, I can’t find the story I was originally interested in reading.

I would always appreciate just raw news no spin no opinion. Yahoo has the opportunity to become the place of truth with no spin in or angle out.

I just deleted this app after reading an article where the title claimed that Michelle Obama said that her husband had “no friends” and that is not what she said at all and the article didn’t even say that. I detest dishonest story titles. I will enjoy watching “Yahoo!” go down in flames after this deceptive betrayal of my trust in what I previously saw as a reputable news agency.

A panoply of subjects without too much lockdown.

As a news aggregator Yahoo is pretty good. I can get about 70% of the news I consider relevant through this app. Then I have my other sources. I don’t like the ads masquerading as articles. Nor do I like the videos in place of articles that never have audio (though that may be a problem unique to tablets, for whatever reason). I don’t know why a lot of these idiots are giving 1 star reviews complaining about articles bashing Trump or liberal reporters. What dumb aaassses. Do you like the layout. Are there a bunch of broken links? Do you experience pop up ads? Do imbedded videos work? Those are legitimate critiques. You have a myriad of conservative and right wing nutjob sources for your entertainment [news]. I’m not on Faux news criticizing that rag because what they push doesn’t interest me. I’m not on InfoWars bashing them for all the conspiracy theories. If you don’t like it, stay away!

Not news but opinions like you to have

This app is good. But it would be much better if you were notified when somebody liked or replied to a comment you left on an article. That's the best way to really get an active discussion going and connect with people. The way it is now everybody is just shouting into the void...

I read absolutely none of them and find myself NOT going to NEWSROOM as frequently as I might. Obviously your marketing staff believes they are doing a great job. What they very ignorantly fail to realize is what a much better job they could be doing in attracting and KEEPING viewers by implementing a far superior format allowing one to read the article and then any ads. Are you so insecure as to believe that readers won’t read them? That’s what we’re doing now, but fast losing patience in trying to follow the story or find the CORRECT arrow. I went to college to study Forensic Science but was bitten by the Sociology bug. Soci allow me to combine many favorite disciplines including Data Management, which I had work history in. Overall, I like Yahoo! Sometimes the updates to mail are a little confusing at first. The updates always seem to change the layout and it takes a little time to navigate the new look. For the most part, I like the Newsroom app. Sometimes, I just don’t have the time to scroll through all the notices. But, I understand, that’s on me.

App does a good job bringing Content I want to Read to ME! I wish IT could FILTER or drop authors that routinely provide Hit Pieces versus News! I Only want to Read unbiased News! NewsWeek, CNN, VOX and other feeds routinely provide Hit pieces that have no value other may be feeding negative emotions and based ON writers bias only! No fact! In the future I Will move to News provider WHO can filter to real News such as WSJ, CNBC and FOX if both sides are shown for opinion pieces!

It has been my lifeline to the outside world n beyond! I am updated with a quick msg all the time keeping me informed of important stuff or even silly stuff! Love it!!! Get it now!!

The new Newsroom is good but I love the old News Digest more.

Was using a web browser to access news w/o problems but would drain a battery in nothing flat. Tried newsroom... Worse than using a web browser. Any article you click on might: 1) display both article & comments normally. 2) display article for a second or two then show a white screen freezing up. 3) display black screen, no article text and freeze solid. Yahoo pop up asking how you like the app does not handle feedback at all. The app will appear to go to a web browser but nothing is displayed but a black page. Not a error free user friendly app and the fact yahoo change management is a free-for-all throw it in to see if it works system, you need patience... A lot of patience. Given the quality and credibility of yahoo news as well as the immature posts you may want to forego messing with the app, use your web browser.

After all the updates nothing works right! Yahoo please fix! What's with the constant video? What are people to lazy to read? Sadly this app is too frustrating to keep!!! Also just found out with their auto audio play interferes when I'm playing my music. BTW Yahoo why auto audio play...what we can't read???

Although the the content is diverse this app relies so heavily on ads that many stories are unreadable because the ad content consumes the bulk of your browsing time not to mention your battery life and data limits.

Bias news articles.. and the comments are absolutely terrible and racist. Do yourself a favor and just choose a different app.

This app is one of the worst I've ever used. I'm trying to battle idiots in the chatroom and unable to because of your flawed programming. It is truly broken and strangely constantly updating with new looks and features. Chill out , nail one scheme down and own it. I'm shocked a company like YAHOO would have let such a disaster go on for so long.

Claims to take all sides into account but when you find Slate, Huffington Post, and other heavy liberal bias sources and no libertarian to conservative sources (Reason, Cato, etc.) you fail to have any other side then one.

... but I agree with others that the prior news digest version was better.

First thing I check to start my morning. Why?.... It opens with NEWS ! I order a lot of different things through the internet and uses it maybe 95% of the time. I found it quite convenient to use. .... And the email service? Just Reliable which is why it's the only one I've been using from way back, and I mean way back 20 yrs ago when these emails were just at its infancy.......

With the way the world is working today and it has been working badly we are now getting to the point where Accurate news is more important than the actual facts of what they are.....So, we have to believe in our news media and the news room is putting stories out that are accurate helpful and positive....... I am very dependent on the newsroom to give me the facts and make sure I can have the facts accurately........

It’s not great, it’s a nice upgrade. There are two issues so far. 1. When I visit the app, I hear white noise coming from my speaker. Once I close the app, it goes away. 2. The news stories that flip from picture to picture with a sentence on each is annoying. It takes more time to wait for the next slide that I close the news story.

This used to be my go to news app for years. Not any longer. 1. Loud videos suddenly start. I’ve searched settings and cannot find a way to stop loud videos from jarringly startling me. I read late at night and in quiet places. I want control of the sound and Yahoo has wrestled that control away. Non negotiable. 2. They have changed the format to slow moving pictures with a few words underneath. Slow, uninformative, and a major waste of time. Uninformative. 3. The whole app has moved towards a stylistic look and away from a news feed. Glam over substance. If I wanted some stylistic slick app, I would download one. What a shame. 4. I want news. Just news. Articles with a headline and something to read, along with a simple photo or two. The news is no longer first and forefront on this app. What happened to this NEWS app? I deleted the app after the recent terrible changes. Waited a few weeks and decided to try again. Reloaded it just now. Second story I clicked on immediately had a loud. Loud. Loud. LOUD newscaster blabbering on. It was jarring and uninvited. It wasn’t labeled as a video, looked like a news story. Again checked settings, unable to mute the news videos Deleted the app again. Going back to other news feeds

I don’t understand so many bad reviews. I like getting the updates that flash on my iPad screen. It keeps me current. I’ve not seen any issues with the app.

As a loyal Yahoo Mail user for over 13 years I am disgusted at the level of dishonesty and overall bias in a majority of the news stories! Most articles read like a cheap tabloid except with a level of ignorance and hate instead of the silliness of most other gossip papers! Even if you try to eliminate most of the offending sources, they are so plentiful that feels like a huge waste of time! The “every Trump voter is a racist” is a personal favorite of mine in which Yahoo News delightfully engages more than it’s share of! The silent majority in this country is tired of the incessant immaturity that these young “journalists” perpetually engage in. Your job is not to create opinion but to report the facts and let the reader make an educated inference instead of the spoon fed racism, globalism, and cosmopolitan bias that you love to shovel out! Count me out of your pity parties!

Use of large pictures not a betterment to me. Liked the versions that had small pics and more story headlines per iPhone screen.

You can no longer read an article. Basically, everything is a bad video or slow PowerPoint presentation. I basically guess “what happened” by reading the title and goin to the comments. Sad, this used to be my favorite new app.

It's ok. Does keep you informed on the top news stories. I'm not crazy about the layout. I really liked the other yahoo news format better. Wish they'd give you a choice. Changing things does not always mean change for the better.

I would like to read the news and decide for myself which way I wasn’t to lean. I don’t agree with the way Trump does everything, nor the way Obama did everything but I sure don’t need a Whiney writer crying with their left wing propaganda. Also, it would be nice if when I clicked back on the app an hour from now not to read the same headlines. Like on my PC it updates when I hit refresh. But for the most part, it’s good.

I have really enjoyed this app it’s been a great source of enjoyment for me. I find so much news to discuss on line with the community. Thanks so much for hours of enjoyment everyday. Newsroom is one of my main sources of news. It keeps me well informed of breaking news stories of the day and the stories are in my opinion pretty objective. I very much enjoy this app.

App does a good job bringing Content I want to Read to ME! I wish IT could FILTER or drop authors that routinely provide Hit Pieces versus News! I Only want to Read unbiased News!

Refreshes constantly so you’re always getting the latest news! Most stories are the large headlines so you might not get some of the smaller stories, but it’s great if you just want to see what’s going on in the world.

I'm not happy when you don't publish my comments, especially when I've seen comments that are more racially motivated than mine.

Used to almost like it but crashes and pushes video vs text too often so I deleted it. They keep asking for feedback but do nothing when they get it.

You click on a news article and the whole screen turns 90 degrees left in an iPad Pro with iOS 11.2. No choice but to start using the News app.

Now instead of being able to read an article, they do a s***** video thing that they expect you watch. I don’t have time for that. Just give me newsprint to read/skim to decide just how much I want to take in.

Needs to add these features to upcoming (hopefully soon) updates: 1. Videos need to be either transcribed in the article or offer closed captioning. Just throwing a video up with no reading option is isolating half of your app users who are reading in bed or can’t have the volume on. 2. When a user is reviewing their own comments (posts), there’s no way to Re-read the article you commented on. See notifications should allow a swipe left to view article or swipe right to see comment(s). 3. Search function is a joke 4. Give option to bookmark or favorite an article 5. Allow reputation points for posts

If you want to read made up news, attacks on anything not in-line with the pc agenda, race baiting and in fact hate baiting attempts in nearly every article.......this the app for you. Baaaaaaaaaaa...............<———did you understand that? I’m taking a class in libonics and might not be phonetically correct.

The latest update is the perfect example of the dumbing down of society. Big, pretty pictures that move, but no substance in the stories. Considering uninstalling if they can't find a fix for it.

The app has no way of showing all of your comments and reactions to stories.

One sided news with misleading headlines deliberately suiting stories to their agenda.

Constant updates and each one makes it worse. Then they patch the s**** up and start working on the next update to s**** it up again. Unreal!

I really don’t like the new format. In fact, it is so annoying I’m going to delete the app. I liked it before. But these s***** picture articles with the annoying music in the background is just too much. I just want to be able to read an article like a normal person.

I gave it two stars. Articles needed videos and I hate watching videos. I prefer to read the news , not watch videos of the news. I hated the videos so I uninstalled it.

The GIFF's are still out of focus. When I type on the comments the keyboard sound has a very loud clicks to it. Not with every key stroke, almost like every other key you press.

The app often opens an entirely unrelated story when when I’m trying to follow a different headline. Then when I go back, I can’t find the story I was originally interested in reading. It also switches articles. Often, when I’m in the middle of reading a long story it will suddenly switch to a different article with no way to get back to the story I was reading. The only option is to spend 5-10 scrolling through the feed hoping to find the headline again. This is especially annoying when I’m 15 minutes or more deep into a long read article.

Completely liberal biased but one of the only news apps with a comment section which is a great way to see how people in America are actually feeling rather than being told how they feel

Sometimes twitter videos will play in the app sometimes not. Sometimes videos auto play no matter what your setting is. It has limited function compared to the browser version. Cannot tap on commenter to see their other comments anymore. Cannot exclude sports related articles from feed

The blatant liberal push is a little too much to bear sometimes, and each update seems to be a step backward in functionality and aesthetics, but in all a decent news source.

I do not want to WATCH videos!!!! I would like to READ the articles. Do not at all like the newest format. If I could have, I would have rated this apps with no stars.

I used to love this app. It's all click bait and ads now. Can't read a story all the way through without it switching to an ad. I've deleted this app and won't be using yahoo anymore.

The recent changes seem to throw a lot of video at readers in articles. Many times I like to just read article,then maybe watch associated video. Would be nice to be able to pause the video. Video uses a lot of data and even though many have unlimited plans the data is slowed down after a certain amount of data usage.

I wrote a well balanced review suggesting people of any side read with critical thinking. They took down my review. I guess that’s pretty much an admission that they are not a news site but rather a liberal opinion site, which is fine. But don’t call yourself news. There are too many young people who don’t know that just because it’s on a site called news doesn’t really mean its news. Let’s see if my review, which reflects my opinion lasts more than a week this time. I wonder if the deep state will be knocking on my door or going after me now ? If I really used Yahoo I wouldn’t call them out for their bias because all of these web providers have powers dictators could have never even dreamed of. If I actually used them I doubt my websites would even work after writing this

So tired of the constant tweaks to the app, where in the process of making something supposedly better, they wreck something indispensable that persists until the next update. If you’re lucky. This time it’s the loss of ability to review your own comments. Tapping on your, or anyone else’s, circular icon fails to bring up the post history like it did previously. You get one star until it’s fixed. Sorry.

Yahoo news gives me an insight into what to expect from other traditional news outlets. Always there as the news break. The app performs well

I get a lot of stories from Yahoo news and then the next day will hear about them on the major news outlets. It’s like they hold onto good stories to lead with the next day while Yahoo is onto the next story. Just my observation

Yahoo ... there is more news than politics. 90% of the articles on your app are Trump or something related to Trump. You need a tab that you can put all your political “news” on. Your app would be so much better with more real news.

I don’t like this new format of the yahoo news. I loved it the way it was. The old was was easy to read and find the stories you wanted. Again I don’t care for this new way at all.

Trump is our President elected by the people. I respect the right for you to disagree but try to be fair in your coverage.

I enjoy having conversations through the comments sections on the article, but there are technical issues. I currently can’t see my previous comments on my iPhone, but I still can on my iPad. I’m afraid to update my iPad operating system for fear I will lose them there too.

Yahoo is one sided politically. Also seems to be in favor of the caravans. Quit bashing my President and his beautiful First Lady!

I recently watched the funeral services for former President Bush. Because I was at a location that didn’t have access to a televised news station! I viewed the service provided on Yahoo! The coverage was excellent and very informative! Thank you for your very inspirational service!

I noticed a number of negative reviews this app and I guess everyone has their own opinion but I love it. I love the idea of the picture because one doesn’t even have to read the content to get an idea of the flavor of the article.

I have heard the words fake news, it doesn’t fit with this news orgs balanced, objective and fact laced articles. Love to read and this is my number one go to read. Thank you

The latest version doesn’t allow you to see how many thumbs up or down so you can see what people think on what you posted. I can say that yahoos bias has not changed. It is like they are pushing you to be a liberal when you are a independent thinker!!

Yahoo is NOT good for current news. The same articles are presented sometimes for a week with no change. If you want current news, go elsewhere. Also, every outlet has the breaking news, and yahoo is always a day late and a dollar short.

It is very good

I use Yahoo news for alerts. It keeps me ahead of the pack. I also read newspapers for more in-depth explanation. The media have their pros and cons. You have to keep this in mind when reading anything. I think it’s a good product and I’m satisfied with it.

All good nothing bad but I wish when we comment something there is way to edit it bcz some time comments are mistyped misspelt and we don’t realize it until it posted Then you have to delete the whole thing pls let there be EDIT option thank you

New format is terrible

Yahoo has become so slanted that I have to wade through the articles to find the facts. The app itself is okay but ad placement interferes with the ability to read the article. I read my local paper on line. I see all of the ads but they do not interfere.

The full screen experience looks gorgeous on iPhone X. Would be nice if there is an option to make the news feed more compact—maybe make the images smaller and on the side, so I can see more items at a glance without scrolling.

I used to love reading news on here but the new slideshows give little information on the actual subject. It looks more like social media now than actual news.

You've made it too complex trying to do too many operations. Use the KISS principal.

The app used to be a good way to catch up on written news. Now there’s only a headline or another sentence plus a video. It takes forever to load an article even without a video because there are more headline-type pictures and very little content. If you like getting all your news videos then enjoy. I’m switching to another app that gives me written, detailed, news.

This app is okay, but I don’t have time to read EVERYTHING that is happening. Brief me on the top 8-10 stories from last night and today. I’ve got stuff to do!

I hate the new “Slide Show” format for the Top Stories. Putting aside the quality of Journalism, which is somewhat spotty as many others have commented on, I did at least enjoy *reading articles* on the Top Stories. Now when you click in, you get a Slide Show with a few Captions. I guess Yahoo took the criticism about Article Quality and gave up writing altogether. Yahoo: Your loyal *Readers* wanted better written Articles, not more Pictures!

Go back to what worked before.. if it not broke don’t fix it.. STUPID IDIOTS

So many things wrong with this app it would be impossible to list. The main feature that is a problem is on mobile devices like iPhones they have it set up where most of the articles are really videos. But they aren’t videos at all - they are slow scrolling pictures with limited text. Yshoo, we can read. Please just give us written articles. It only works in portrait, meaning you can't turn you iPad phone or other devise on its side (landscape) to get a bigger screen. If they can't get that right how many other things to you think are wrong with the app?! If you guessed everything, you r right!!!!

Please no music on my iOS. It shuts my radio in my car down just so I can hear that BS you decided to play on your app. The app it self has become unstable and I’m better off leaving it alone.

The new format with video and music and some words is horrible.

Use to have articles to read, now it’s slide shows that are slow. I could read a lot faster then the silly PowerPoint presentation format. Very annoying which will make this a soon to be deleted app off my phone.

this was my preferred app for news, then this las update happened, I can’t get the b***** thing to work in landscape, as soon as you open a story is goes wacko .... I hope they fix it, I’m so frustrated I don’t even open it anymore....

I actually used to enjoy this app, but nothing seems to work since I updated my iPad. Half the time only 1\2 the article shows on the screen and it freezes up constantly. Too bad, I’m tired of the glitches too. Time to find another source.

Yahoo news is horrible bad, unprofessional, completely liberal side, completely fake news, nothing close to a real is even worst that CNN. Never you can base your opinion on this fake news. They are so liberals and socialist side completely.

The app is great since it links to other true news sites. Yahoo’s Hypocrat propaganda force is a little hard to take sometimes.

This kind of app has more than enough news in the sense that it should be able to merge with all other news source apps. In this way, all users of this type of app won't ever have to miss a single bit or a single type of news from any news source in the world. The creators of news apps like these also have to make sure that they translate them in as many different languages as possible.

I downloaded the app a few days ago. I finally decided to open it after hearing some outlandish and racist questions from a Yahoo Reporter during the White House Press Conference today. Upon opening the app the headlines are somehow more hyperbolically exaggerated than CNN’s website. Not to mention there were endless ads. I had hopes of a “fresh” and fairly balanced reporting of the news in today’s fake news scene. And what I got was the most biased media source to date. Do not waste your time in downloading this. I’ve since deleted it.

These days it’s difficult if not impossible to figure out where HONEST, unbiased news can be found...one has to pick and choose carefully if you don’t want to be led around by the brainwashed nose. Yahoo does a fair job combining good, bad and indifferent news, most of which is pretty credible though. However, I do wish they’d settle on ONE format and go with it!!

Easy to go over the news and constantly updated. I use it for a fast check of the most important news.

At the same time I’m glad I can turn/put my phone down when the news gets to be to much. I trust the information and the reporters putting out the information. Let’s just all get along. It is pretty vile and repulsive coming mostly from the far right. It’s a mixture of stupidity and ignorance.

I enjoy the news stories, but I'm tired of the "rate us". So I'm rating you. Ask once maybe twice about a review and then let the reader rate you when they can.

I don’t really get the negative reviews. Works well on my end, although I think I preferred the previous layout. I haven’t had any glitches that have stopped me from getting the news with the latest version. The coverage doesn’t strike me as “fake news”. Love the little comic break video after the first 9 or 10 major stories. Some days it saves my sanity.

Better than seeing in with all of their 10 to 20 second advertisements before you can read the CNN article. You can read the same article here and no advertisements. It’s the same news.

Yahoo news is extremely biased. The headlines are twisted and misleading. Also if you are a conservative your comments are more likely to be censored. There is an extreme amount of bullying from the left it you don’t agree with their agenda. That’s my experience

Had to delete this off my phone and tablet. Every time I open it, I get an “oops” message.

The major issue I have still comes down to disingenuously selecting people to write reviews. When the app asks if you “love it” (the app), if you select “no”, it loops you out to either an in-house “review” or leads you to a dead end broken link. It only leads you here if you select “yes”. As such, the review ratings are entirely meaningless. Their “4.2 Star” rating as of this review should likely be closer to 2.5 stars.

The app is easy, friendly user, and can be set as desirable. Helps maintain us informed of the situation in the US as well as in the international forum.

I like to review the news on yahoo. It is a very good site. You have to know that all the articles are far left, and one sided. It is good to see this point of view, because I used to watch some CNN and MSNBC, but those media outlets are so far out there, I never go there anymore.

Yahoo news is my second read behind Fox. But, I started following Yahoo over 20+ years ago. I’ve never had an issue, until recently, with Yahoo and I still maintain an email account. My gripe is regarding comments I’ve made which have been removed from viewing. I don’t use foul language but I am critical when commenting, particularly of Alec Baldwin. Apparently, whomever flagged my comment did so based on politics, and not some foul language or off-the- wall comment. Although critical of bad behavior by anyone, not allowing free speech by commenters is a violation of law. I suggest whomever is denying my comments should not be employed or at least not 8n a position to judge someone else.

Less content, not as frequently updated with new stories, or so it seems. Most annoying is the Yahoo “censorship.” Trumpees think it’s a “lib” app and whine that only their comments get rejected, but that’s not true of course, as I can attest. App used to replace certain words with symbols, now it just deletes entire comment and some for no apparent reason, and it seems to be more restrictive censoring for different commenters.

I installed this app about a week ago but only “signed in” with my Yahoo account, a couple days ago. Almost immediately after I gave this app my account information, I noticed my phone’s battery percentage dropping fast. I ignored it for the first day but by the second day and after I had just charged my battery to 100% only a couple hours before, this app had depleted my battery to 90%!! I know it was this app because I checked in my phone’s “settings” then “battery info” section. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! It’s a shame because I really was liking this app, too. But I cannot and will not reinstall it until this defect is fixed!! I can’t be charging my battery every few hours!! I hope you will look into this claim. Thank you!!

Smooth operator - thats this app. Never crashes. Simple and useful design. Just the right balance between the different categories of news. Works great even on smaller screens.

Whoever thought to give the news in the new format needs his/her head examined! The way it’s set up now makes it hard to read. Why not go back to the old format where a person didn’t have to turn the iPad sideways to see the tiny print news article? What’s the logic in leaving a b******** area on the right side of the article that could be used in expansion of the news article?
